SAP XI materials
I am planning to take certification exam Can anybody help me with the materials
TBIT40 --- XI Fundamentals.
TBIT41 --- Mapping Concepts.
TBIT42 --- Adapters Concepts.
TBIT43 --- Business Process Management Concepts.
TBIT44 --- Mapping,Adapters and BPM.
Please mail me the materials if you own at [email protected]
it is usually 2 weeks class room training and one week self study. 40 in week 1, 41,42,43 in week 2 and 44 in week 2. week 1 & 3 are class room training. Week one will cover most of XI, but more in BPM is in week 3. 41,42,43 are kind of reference stuff, more junk text on what ever that is there in XI.
44 is more on BPM.
Once you register you get 40 and 44 books and you need to download 41,42 and 43 from sap site, you get a log in when you register.
Can't send the file since it is copy righted.

Leading zeros in SAP ME materials that come from SAP ERP
Hello!
When materials are transfered from the SAP ERP side via MII to SAP ME it can be observed that material numbers have leading zeros. For example a material number is created in SAP ME like 0000000123456 instead of 123456.
I think this behaviour can be changed in the XLST transformations, which are part of SAPMEINT.
Is this the usual way to fulfill the requirement "No leading zeros for SAP ME material numbers"?
It can be observed that for example the shop orders don't have the leading zeros, when they are created in SAP ME.
Of cause, when confirmations are sent back to SAP ERP the corresponding XSLT transformation adds again these '0',
it is somehow necessary for SAP ERP for the shop order lookup.
I see one disadvantage when using modified XLST transformations.
Each time a new version of SAPMEINT is deployed a check shoukld be made from our side, if there are changes in the original XSLT transformations.
So what is the statement of direction from the SAPMEINT developers?
Kr,
Erich LindWe see the same problem for the leading zeros. There is no consistency in this case.
Also the SAPMEINT Enhanced planned order report is triggering only for material with leading zeros. In this case you can't modify anything to prevent this. No XSLT modification possible there.
Can we get any statement from SAP?!? -

Regards,
MJ.Hi,
All production relevant materials in component list are present on the pick list. You can verify the same by executing CO27 (mass) or MIGO or MB1A (individually).
For parts which are warehouse managed & if WM-PP interface is setup, once the order is released, a TR is generated for warehouse to process the picking, once the TR & TO is process, the GI is done.
For parts which are not warehouse managed, the stock is managed in IM (i.e. at sloc level), for these the pick list which is printed at the time of order release will serve as a picking instruction for warehouse personnel & subsequently a GI is posted via MB1A / MIGO / CO27.
Hope it clarifies.

Hi,
can anyone recommend a good book introducing SAP business warehouse?
We have ECC 6.0 running and want to augment it with SAP's business warehouse.
JakobHi,
Read Data warehousing books written by Ralph Kimball or Bill Inmon in order to familiarize yourself with the basic concepts of data warehousing. This is the foundation of the entire thing.
Follow the SAP training materials on BW Data Warehousing, BW Reporting and BW Modeling. There are several books that can help you a lot when getting started. check this link

After you have a solid BW knowledge, start to review the help.sap.com site.
Hope this helps,

New Book on SAP BW Performance Tuning
Hi All,
Just thought of sharing this info on SDN...
A new book on SAP BW Performance Tuning is available...
http://www.erpguides.com/books/bwperformance.htm
Shreekant W Shiralkar & Bharat Patel have authored a book on SAP BW Performance Tuning. The book is based on their real life experiences on improving the system performance using various features/techniques/ideas.
I am aware that the The book covers many how-to procedures with screen shots for helping the reader to implement the performance improvement and benefit immediately. It would be interesting to read this book as a compilation of practical experiences on performance tuning .
Cheers,
