SAPGUI(attach) saying You Didnot Specify a system Data Container

Hi,
I need help in Modularization of Script., where I am getting a message while SAPGUI(attach) saying"You Didnot Specify a system Data Container.In This case You can only Record connections to Current System,Do you want to Continue Anyway?
I have done the below steps.
1.I created a System Data container and mentioned detials of Target System and Trusted Rfc.
2.I created a Z_Mod1 Test Script and mentioned this System data container and target system detials in attributes,
3.Then wenteditor tab then to pattern-> Sapgui(record) and recorded the script succesfully for the target system.
4.Now I am creating another script Z_Mod2 for Mdoularization.. and gave the detials of System Data Container, target system,
5.I went to editor tab then to pattern and selected "Test Script Refernces"and test script=Z_Mod1 ,and target system detials.
6.then i went to Edit-->Predefine Target System Instance and selected the RFC destination
7.Now i executed the script and selected the option Do NOT Close created session in UI Control.
8.the script executed fine and Target system session is still open after the task is done.
9.Now I went back to the script and Clicked on Pattern Button. choose Group = UI Control,Command = SAPGUI (Attach) Interface = [Generated]
Now its giving the above message

**and not able to select the target systems Scripting session...instead looking for session of same system,

Hello,
As mentioned the session is still open.
Also you are doing attach, check if the session open of the system earlier and the system mentioned in the attributes of the script which you are changing both are pointing to the same system.
We get this error when it refers two different system.
Solution either remove the system details in the attributes or mention the system details of the system which is open.

Currently it is not possible, to maintain more than one SDC on a test plan.
A workaround is, to maintain one SDC on a test plan and specify no target system direct in a test plan. If you maintain then your two systems in one SDC, you can specifiy each target system in the test configuration, where it is needed.
Here the example:
test plan:
systemdata container: SDC_ALL
target system: <empty>
test config 1:
systemdata container:
target system: CRM
test config 2:
systemdata container:
target system: ERP
systemdata container: SDC_ALL
target system: CRM -> rfc 1
target system: ERP -> rfc 2

System Data Container in ECATT

I am trying to create some catt scripts in the CUA box (SECATT)
when creating a new system data container i am selecting the RFC destination and typing in the Target system and description fields.
However - when ever we select the RFC destination the Instance description field populates automatically, which is not happening in my case(it is greyed out)
I gave myself SAP_ALL and tried again but in vain.
I am not sure why this is happening - i tried searching in the SDN forums but was unable to find the appropriate answer.
Can anyone point me to the right direction?

I checked the T000 table and it is good.
I also tested the RFC connections, they are working fine.
I dont know why or i dont know how - I am able to add the target systems now without any issues.
about 10 minutes back i was unable to do it. This could be due to some maintanance happening - i am not sure.
But for now - its working

I'm not really pro- at RDS in server 2012 (r1), but I have a problem and don't find anything suitable on internet:
I'm trying to publish one of my own, unlisted programs to rdweb, but it keeps saying "You must specify a file from the RD Session Host server SERVERNAME by using the UNC path...."
1) I provided the path in the unc name - when I click "Add.." then i browse the the .exe file via network share, not via local path. So that should be OK
2) Firewall is turned off and eventhough the exeptions are enabled, both of then, checked
What else should I do to make this work?

Okej, I found the sollution:
You have to specify the path like \\hostname\drive_letter$\path-to-the-program.
I was doing wrong because i wrote it like \\hostname\ShareName\path-to-the-program.
I was misleded because the wizard wants me to find the program by clicking, and not by entring the path manualy.

"You must restart your system" error when installing Tiger on a new drive

While trying to install Mac OS 10.4 from the install DVD the install stops during the "Basic Install ..." phase and I get a gray screen that says "You must restart the system by pressing the power button ....." shown four different languages. I restart installation over and over, it never gets past that first section. Gray screen, panic stop.
I installed a new 200 GB Maxtor DiamondMax Ultra ATA/100 hard drive in my system. The system already had a 120 GB Maxtor. The 200GB is configured as the master and the 120GB as the slave. I have a new SIIG Ultra ATA/133 2 Channel PCI Interface (https://eshop.macsales.com/item/SIIG/SCMP4A12/) also installed.
Here's my configuration.
Power Mac G4 (AGP graphics) 1GB RAM, Mac OS 10.4.8
- SIIG Ultra ATA/133 2 Channel PCI Interface
- IOGEAR Hi-Speed USB 2.0 / FireWire 400 (1394A) Combo PCI Card
- MAXTOR STM3200820A (200 GB drive, master)
- MAXTOR 6B120P0 (120 GB drive, slave)
I tried disconnecting the 120GB hard drive, leaving just the 200 GB on the bus and I get the same gray screen a few seconds into the basic OS install. Tried removing the IOGEAR USB 2.0 card, same message. Since Mac OS X was originally installed on the 120GB, I can restart Mac OS 10.4.8 from that drive and use that drive. Once restarted on the 120GB drive I see the 200 GB drive, Disk utilities see it just fine, drive reports no error in the Disk Utility. The 200 GB disk even formats, I see it on my current MAC OS 10.4.8 as the second drive. I just want to get Mac OS installed on the 200 GB.
If you have seen this gray screen before installing on a 200 GB Maxtor or have any insight I would be most appreciated.

Hi Frank,
With all that additional third party hardware it will be difficult to get a proper installation. You can either take out ALL 3rd-party hardware (just leave the 200 GB hard disk in there, but also take out the 120 GB) or you can simply clone the system from the 120 GB disk to the 200 GB disk. You can do that with utilities such as Carbon Copy Cloner.

How can eCATT used for testing of z program on DEV system &data on Quality?

Background - Custom object is (for e.g. any report program) which I want to test is present on DEV system and required data (e.g. data that will be passed to selection screen fields of program) on Quality system.
Question -How to do testing of program using eCATT without transporting my program to Quality box? Please anyone can give me any insights on this to fix the data availability issue.
My efforts - Created System data container specifying RFC connection for Quality system. Created Test Data Container with data available on Quality box. Here, I specified target system as 'Quality' for the data. Created Test script (for SE38 tcode ) and did the parameterization(giving program name as parameter , other selection screen fields) and set the Target system for each parameter to QUALITY. Created Test Configuration specifying with all required parameters .
When I ran the test script from Test Configuration, test script started to run on Quality system. But failed saying program/object does not exist on quality box.
Importance - This is required as no data available on DEV box, need to move program/object to Quality system. Hence, multiple transort requests are created.

Yes, you are right. If I manually code the same amount of those components in the JSF pages instead of generating them dynamically, the server will still run out of memory. That is to say, JSF pages might not accommodate a great deal of concurrent visiting. If I upgrade the server to just allow 1,000 teachers making their own test papers at the same time, but when over 2,000 students take the same questionnaire simultaneously, the server will need another upgrading. So I have to do what you have told me, using JS+DOM instead of upgrading the server endlessly.

Updating satellite system data after Upgrade in Solman

Hi All,
We are using solman 7.01 connected to BI 7.0 system as it's satellite system, We have recently Upgrade our BI system to BI 7.01 version but we do not see its updated version in solman system.
We checked in SMSY it is still showing BI 7.0, we have also done option " Read data from system " but it did not work.
Please suggest to Update my system data in solman.

When you clicked in "Read system Data Remote", were the information returned with success in the logs ?
Usually the informations aren't pushed because the READ Rfc's are failing.
If you run job LANDSCAPE FETCH, the information are being collected correctly ?

How to find universal date in java , not system date.

I am working on licensing the java web product using License4j jar. so here i want to get the universal date not system date. because system date can be easily changed by some one. suppose your product license validity date is 15 march 2010. you can change your system date and use this product long life. I have seen some java program from java.util api but not getting the correct answer.

N82 Self change the system date!!!

Hi to all....let's get to the problem at once....
my Nokia N82 was working flawlessly with the v30 firmware BUT when I upgraded to v31 it started to change the system date!!!!! I've search for a parameter in the menus but .... no such parameter...) it adds 2 days in the system date in many occasions.... I thing this is a mega-bug.... please tell me if anyone else have this problem.

I'm having the same issue, after upgrading firmware to v31.0.016 the system date "jumps" two days forward every morning if I set a workday-alarm and then switch off the phone. After the alarm rings I turn on the phone and it shows the correct date, but a few minutes later it jumps 2 days forward.
Because of this bug all of the services connected with system date (agenda, calendar, alarm, memo, reminder, calls register, ...) don't work correctly and are almost unuseful unless you manually correct the system date every morning.
I'm not going to leave the phone on (not even in offline mode) all night long as a workaround, because I paid lots of money for a working smartphone, and it's not working correctly now.
I reported the issue to Nokia, I'll let you know if they will suggest any solution.

Next hit your BIO's key and set the cd to boot first, run the scanner and see what it pops up.
If your all clear then create another Admin, transfer your files over from the first Admin.
See if that works, eventually when your totally over to the new Admin, delete the old one.
If you can't create a new Admin, find out who locked your machine down, like your parents or it's a school computer?
Likely installed spyware or "nanyware" to watch you.

It means that your machine does not meet the system requirements for InDesign. Check the system requirements for InDesign against those of your machine to see where your machine comes up short.

I cannot log into systems preferences for icloud on my imac. icloud works on all devices including the imac, but I get the window "You can't sign in at this time" when using system preferences on the imac. I am using mountain lion, but it didn't work on lion either. Help

You may wish to try the following:
1. Sign out of your account
(If you are unable to do this because System Preferences has frozen, Force Quit System Preferences and try again)
2. When prompted, opt to delete, contacts, calendars etc from your Mac.
(You are only deleting this data from your Mac, not from iCloud, the data will be reinstated when you log back in. If you need to check that the data is in iCloud before deleting it go to iCloud.com and check each section for data)
3. Having logged out, check that the iCloud accounts along with their data have disappeared from the Mail, Address Book and iCal Applications.
(If necessary, delete the iCloud accounts from each of these application separately from each Applications Preferences)
4. At this point it may be worth trying to log into iCloud from the System Preferences iCloud settings again, if this works, all well and good, if it doesn't continue to step 5.
5. Open your User Library folder in the Finder. (When in the Finder, go to the Go menu, hold down the option key (alt) and choose Library when it appears in the Go menu)
6. Navigate to Library > Application Support > iCloud and drag the iCloud folder to your desktop. (This action only copies the folder and will provide you with a back up)
7. Select the iCloud folder again in Library > Application Support and drag it to the trash, enter your administrators password when prompted.
8. Restart your computer.
9. You should now be able to enter your ID and Password in system Preferences > iCloud and log into your account. Check the services you wish to use and once you are satisfied it's working as it should, trashh the iCloud folder you copied to your desktop earlier.
