Hi,
Please let me know ,how exactly FI and CO linked with Sap PM Module.
What cases when SAP PM and CO and In what cases SAP PM and FI comes into Picture.
Please let me know .

  • Functional Location

    Hi,
    Client is having lot of moving Equipments. So then he want that when production person should create notifiaction, he should enter the location also to identify the location of perticular machine like welding machine. For fixed machines , that will be installed at functional location.But what about  moving machines. Can i control it with any exit. Means when equipment status inst, system should fetch from Functional Location or else.

    I hope this can be done for your case...
    Create New Equipment category for moving equipments.... You can create notification with respect to equipments... thats enough... in other case.. if u require a functional location... then create one functional location EX : Maintenance Room etc... Assign all the moving equipments to this functional location...
    You can get the functional location datas from here... so notification will have a functional location...
    Normally for moving equipments... Say Equipment A and B is working in one functional location Z for five days... but equipment A will be used in another functional after 3rd day... in such case... you need to assemble and dismantle the functional location, once the work is started and completed... you need to take care of these things...
    By this.. you can track the usage of equipments at different functional location

  • Need help in PM and FI/CO

    Hello Gurus,
    I hope everyone of you there is doing great and enjoying the world of ABAP..
    I have no idea about PM and FI/CO module and would like to learn the basics in each one of them...if not in detail atleast from the ABAP programming part..
    What is the flow and steps in each module..What tables,transactions and common activites do we include in each module...
    If you guys can explain me it would be helpful...

    Basically there are 5 major topics/areas in FI,
    1. GL Accounting -
    related tables are SKA1, SKB1 Master data
    BSIS and BSAS are the Transaction Data
    2. Account Receivables- related to Customer
    All the SD related data when transfered to FI these are created.
    Related Tables BSID and BSAD
    3. Account Payables - related Vendor
    All the MM related documents data when transfered to FI these are created
    Related Tables BSIK and BSAK
    All the above six tables data is present in BKPF and BSEG tables
    You can link these tables with the hlp of BELNR and GJAHR and with Dates also.
    4. Special Purpose Ledger.. which is rarely used.
    5. Asset Managment
    In CO there are
    Profit center Accounting
    Cost center Accounting will be there.
    Cross-Application Components -> Financial.

  • Cost Center and res cost center

    Hi team,
    When i am going to settle the cost of PM Order , COst center pick from Equipment sonly. Then what is the use of assignemnt of cost center in work center.

    Hi,
    How do I call you? SAPPM is not appropriate!...
    You are attaching one cost center to your work center that supplies required resources (activity types) to perform the maintenance - in IR01. That cost center is to maintain the rate of the resource (Activity types) ie. Rs.500 / Hr or day - in KP26.
    Whenever you are utilizing a resource from a work center, system refers the cost center / activity type combination to determine the cost. Based on no. of hours or days utilization, the planned cost / actual cost are determined from the Wctr, Cctr, Acttypes.
    These are so called Source of cost center.
    After completing the order, the cost incurred are with the maint. order. Now we need to settle to a cost object, it may be a cost center / WBS / Contract / PSEG etc.. depends on your business requirement. You may use a cost center as a Cost receiver / cost object to observe your maintenance cost of an Equipment / Func loc / or its group.
    As a whole, the work center / cost center is used to determine the cost (Source). Equipment cost center observe the cost of maintenance(receiver).

    My organization is in the process of implementation of CRM Sales 7.0 in Phase-I & eCommerce (Web-Channel) in Phase-II.
    1. Can you please suggest me the HARDWARE Configuration required for both the applications . It is a MID -SIZE company.
    2. Will there be different Dev & PRD Servers for Implementing CRM SALES, Marketing, Services, & Web Channel.
    There will be MAX 20 Users on DEV Server & MAX 100-150 Users on PRD Server.
    An early help will highly be apprciated.

    2. ECC Server (Version 6.0) and again not sure if you going to use it or already you have the same implemented in your organisation
    3. TREX Server will be required if you going to use the WEB CHANNEL
    4. JAVA Server will be required as JAVA will be extensively used in WEB CHANNEL.
    5. Netweaver administrator need to be configured from WEB CHANNEL Perspective.
    There are SAP Documents such as CR100 (General CRM) and CR800 for WEB CHANNEL requirements. These documents will highlight the server requirement.

    >> Within one development server you can configure CRM Sales Marketing, Service and web channel scenarios. You obviously need to have a seperate server as your production server. Development server will be used to configure the scenarios, do a business specific development. Testing will be done on development server and then if everything is ok, these changes will be moved to production server

  • Order Reexplosion thru Planning Board - System Dump

    Hi ,
    I have been facing the following problem :
    APO - PPDS.
    1)Orders on the APO screen are instantly consuming material requirements. 
    2)When the order is re-exploded, it cleans up and then happens again after the save.
    Also, If 2 orders are completed in the same duration, we are getting kicked out of the system.
    Can any one give any insights in to this?

       This is probably because, the strategy profile that you are using does not have "Finite scheduling" selected. Click on the "str ategy" push button on the application tool bar and make sure that the "Finite Scheduling" check box is selected. After this try dispatching the Order operation to a workcenter and if there isn't sufficient capacity available, Dispatching will not be carried out and error messages will be raised indicating the same.
    If you want this setting to be permanent and defaulted, then you could either copy the strategy profile to a custom profile with just this modification and then assign this profile to the new overall profile(You would need to assign this profile to the PID on your user master) or you could change the standard strategy profile(Not advisable).

    I am on EHP5. I have following questions on compatible units set-up:
    - the task lists to be used are "configurable taslk lists" with "configuration profile" or normal PM task lists?
    - It seems when the order is generated from CU design, first operation is created by header VCU- is there a way to stop this? so that all relevant operations come over to order through task list assigned.

    Thanks for your answer.
    I am getting an error when trying to generate order from design.  The error is "no tasklist selected"(IW 322). It seems no operation from tasklist is coming over as no tasklists are selected. In debugging it seems to be coming from "CO_SD_ROUTING_EXPLOSION" / "/***/IBAPI_TL_ADD". Do you have any clear document in this area? If so, can you share with me?SAP documents are not very clear.
