SAR - Bugs
HI -
I am looking for a fix to the following SAR reporting problems
I have configured Sar to run via crontab (only) like so:
0 * * * * /usr/lib/sa/sa1 300 12 &
I then collect all data everyday at 23:58 with the following command
sar -abcgkmpqruvwy (get everyting except disk info -d)
I find that on a few of my servers I get output similar to the following (real) example
01:00:00 runq-sz %runocc swpq-sz %swpocc
18:48:00 3.0 1
18:55:00 2.7 1
18:58:00 3.8 1
19:00:00 4.0 2
18:55:00 2.5 1
18:55:00 3.0 1
19:00:00 1.7 2
19:05:00 1.8 1
First note that the time interval of 18:55 is repeated 3x and 19:00 is repeated 2x.
Second note that the times 18:48 and 18:58 are not "valid" with respect to the cmd line in cron.
Third note that there are 3 sampling events where there should be two: 18:55, 18:58 & 19:00
This happens with Solaris 2.5.1, 2.5.6 & 5.8 about 50% of the time.
Another issue with sar is demonstrated by the following acutal output
00:00:00 runq-sz %runocc swpq-sz %swpocc
20:05:00 1.0 1 23.0 100
20:10:00 1.0 0 23.0 100
20:15:00 23.0 100
20:20:00 1.0 0 23.0 100
20:25:00 23.0 100
20:30:00 1.0 0 23.0 100
20:35:00 23.0 100
20:40:00 23.0 100
20:45:00 1.2 1 23.0 100
20:50:00 1.0 1 23.0 100
20:55:00 2.0 0 23.0 100
First SAR sporadically reports runq-sz and %runocc
Second SAR consistently reports swpq-sz %swpocc
This issue I have is that since at least 2.5.1 the man page states "these are no longer reported by SAR"
and this is occurring on boxes with 2.5.1, 2.5.6 & 5.8 (about 10% of the time)
Third why would SAR report on swpq-sz & %swpocc when it does not reoprt on runq-sz & %runocc such as at 20:35?
Finally, the concern for these is that I am collecting the data in a database for historical performance monitoring. I have scripts that clean up the data (remove duplicate sampling times and change the times to the "correct" bin), but it is beginning to require more time to baby sit the loading and correcting of the data.
Good review, pls see my topic in this forum also have mentioned the good/bad abt this phone. Overall, BlackBerry is moving to the right direction with this phone.

[BUG?] af:table table empty after descending sort and remove
Hi,
I think i found a bug.
I have an af:table binded to an arraylist in a backingbean. This List consist of an object that represents two strings (value 1 and 2).
Now when the table is loaded and I sort descending on one of the columns. After sorting i'll try to remove a row. The correct row is published to the bean with an af:setPropertyListener and removed from the arraylist. But when the table is rendered again there are no values in the table. But the arraylist still has all remaining values which will be shown after a sort again.
Fun fact: it only happens when sorting descending.
Anyone got an idea?

audit-core oracle.ide.audit.core 11Hi Harry (and others),
I have seen similar behavior. It seems like the client side rendering for some reason has a hard time processing the collection model wrapping the ArrayList in this particular case. The table renders empty. After sorting in ascending order, the rows are all back (visible) again.
Is anyone aware of issues with the rich table based directly on ArrayList (in combination with a changing set of values and/or sorting)? (seems like a corner case but is still not uncommon). Is there any indication that wrapping the ArrayList in a CollectionModel ourselves might be required?
Harry: do you know whether this issue is introduced with PS3 (11.1.1.4) or already existed in previous releases?
kind regards,
Lucas -
BUG: Debug Unit tests in Selected
I think I've found a bug in JDeveloper.
Using "Debug Unit Tests in Selected" does not all unit tests in the selected projects.
To reproduce:
-select a list of projects,
-right click and select "Debug Unit Tests in Selected".
Results:
-JDev will run all the unit tests in the last project selected but no others.
What it should do:
-JDev should run all unit tests in all selected projects

thanks for getting back to me.
I just went to the controls panel (under Systemsteuerung\Programme\Standardprogramme\Dateizuordnungen festlegen, sorry, German) I can see:
Name: .swf
Description: Shockwave Flash Object
Application: Unknown application
Also, double clicking a swf file prompts me with a dialog saying Windows can't openit since it doesn't know how. -
Hi
I mentioned this in another thread, which was about something completely different, so I thought I'd raise it separately so that it wasn't missed.
In page templates (not sute if this is introduced in 4 or not) but you cannot have the #TAB_CELL# substitution after #BOX_BODY# as it's not substituted. This can be easily reproduced by editing the page template to move the position of this substitution string.
Is this a known bug?
SaraI'm beginning to doubt there is a point in templates when you have to guess what Oracle believe people will do 99% of the time.
That was two years ago, so hopefully someone will find Carl's notes soon... or see that really templates should allow developers the flexibility to decide how their application should look. :-) I'm sure this could be corrected to allow full flexibility especially when it's clearly a known issue.
Thanks for finding the post so quickly, I had searched the forums before posting.

HELP Adobe flash drive update BUG?? Big Problem
I bought a 13 inch MacBook Air in August 2014.
OS X Maverick, Version 10.9.4. 4 GB memory, 256GB storage.
I have been using Safari to see lecture videos from Echo360, and they have been working well despite the slow internet of the country.
Just until two days ago, everything had been working fine, until a Adobe Flash Driver Update popped up on my screen.
At first I ignored it (b/c I usually dont care about using the latest versions; the lecture videos had been working perfectly)
but it kept popping up so I clicked update.
The next day, my mac kept losing connection to internet every 1-3 minutes, such as "resolving host" messages.
The videos kept crashing and I had to re open the page, refreshing wouldnt work. about 15 times for a 50 minute video.
I erased the Flash Driver.plugin from my internet plug-ins in the library, and the internet came back alive.
I was guessing the "updated" plugins were eating up my internet/browser...
So then I downloaded chrome so I wouldnt have to manually use adobe anymore,
and now, the videos keep freezing at random moments at about 5-10 minute intervals. Now that the internet is back alive, i just have to refresh the page, which still takes forever to load...fortunately the browsers dont crash anymore...
Right then, I completely disposed anything related to adobe flash drive. I still have Adobe pdf which works great.
But even after, it kept freezing...
Maybe I was thinking this is normal when watching videos on chrome b/c the plug ins are not manually stored in my mac?
If not, what is causing the freezing of the videos on google chrome? (i dont think my mac is losing internet connection anymore every second like yesterday)
Is there any way to fix it? Is it from yesterday's history of downloading the "update"?
I just want to be able to watch my lecture videos like I normally did the past two weeks, before I downloaded the "update"
and now I am afraid that downloading adobe might crash my internet/browsers again.
It took me several hours to come to erasing the "updated" plug ins as I am fairly a noob in computers.
I spent a lot of time and researched a lot up till 5AM in the morning just last night.
and I have exams coming up next week... I would really want this to be resolved.
Should I try downloading adobe from its actual website and see what happens?
If yes, which versions would you recommend?
Yesterday when I checked after the update, it stated the most current Adobe 15.
If this contains bugs for mavericks, I would rather do older versions.
I do not know which version I was using before the "update" when everything worked perfectly.
Thanks for reading all this
I know I am all over the place; Im just very frustrated and desperate as not knowing what to do....
I just want my mac to work like before I clicked on the "update"
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thank youYou probably installed some kind of malware pretending to be a Flash update. That's very common.
1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off merely by the seeming complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it changes nothing. It doesn't send or receive any data on the network. All it does is to generate a human-readable report on the state of the computer. That report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can read it yourself without disclosing the contents to me or anyone else.
You should be wondering whether you can believe me, and whether it's safe to run a program at the behest of a stranger. In general, no, it's not safe and I don't encourage it.
In this case, however, there are a couple of ways for you to decide whether the program is safe without having to trust me. First, you can read it. Unlike an application that you download and click to run, it's transparent, so anyone with the necessary skill can verify what it does.
You may not be able to understand the script yourself. But variations of the script have been posted on this website thousands of times over a period of years. The site is hosted by Apple, which does not allow it to be used to distribute harmful software. Any one of the millions of registered users could have read the script and raised the alarm if it was harmful. Then I would not be here now and you would not be reading this message.
Nevertheless, if you can't satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
4. Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
☞ Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
☞ Paste into the window of another application.
☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
☞ Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
5. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
6. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
7. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
8. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
9. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "Syntax error" or "Event not found," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
10. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
11. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report what happened. No harm will be done.
12. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
13. When you post the results, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "You are not authorized to post." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
14. This is a public forum, and others may give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak only for themselves, and I don't necessarily agree with them.

SOA Suite 11g Clustering error/oracle bug ?
Hi, i got several experiment to implement soa suite 11g clustering, in my company.. at this moment we still use development mode in our application server. now i'm trying to get into production and also i want cluster the server.. here is the chronology what i do.
i got 3 server :
my plan is
server #1 become an proxy server, let say the name is soa_proxy
server #2 become an cluster node, let say the name is soa_server1
server #3 become an cluster node, let say the name is soa_server2
so i start install & configure it (applications is running under Windows Server 2003)
1.*soa_proxy*
- Installing WebLogic server
- Installing SOA
- Create Repository with RCU (oracle 10g database)
2.*soa_server1*
- Installing WebLogic server
- Installing SOA
3.*soa_server2*
- Installing WebLogic server
- Installing SOA
after installation finished, then i create domain in soa_proxy server let say it name 'MyDomain', then i assign the soa_server1 and soa_server2 in cluster node named 'MyCluster', also i assign the soa_proxy server as a HTTP Proxy Server.. i'm following the instructions just like this link Link: [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/doc.1111/e13925/config_screens.htm#CJAEABGD]
all the installation seems good, but when i try to deploy my composite application into the proxy server 'soa_proxy' with JDev, i got error like this
Image: !http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/2122/error2z.jpg!
and when i go to Http://hostname:7001/em
i just see my composite deployed only in 'soa_server2'.
UPDATE : well, now the error was gone when deploying. but we still got little odd result,
when i deploy with jdev, it still fine, until i go to the enterprise manager. yess still.. my composite only deplyed in 'soa_server1'. i got some reference that we can copy the domain directory in soa_proxy and then paste into the server that not yet been deployed before. its seems oke..
i've been thinking, how if i got 10 node of cluster? 50 node of cluster ? should i copy the directory just like that ?? is there another charmed way to do it???
can somebody help me with this simple case?

Wildan

=======
here is my last trial to deploy the cluster environment, then i just got the same issues, our team here think thats the issues causing by oracle bug in code behind. for reminder what i do last experiment
1. we deploy/configure the domain (admin console, cluster node) then starting up all the services smoothly without no issues & as we saw in the console monitor we can see the cluster is syncronizing.
2. then we create simple composite.
3. we try to deploy the composite to the cluster domain, and what we got is the composite only deployed in one cluster node.
let me describe to clear it,
* first trial, when we deploy the composite, here is what we got in em console
*[-] SoaInfra (SoaServer1)*
[+] CompositeLabTest
*[-] SoaInfra (SoaServer2)*
in JDev we also saw this message (the project CompositeLabTest Deploy Process is skipped), some kind like that
* second time trial, we try to shut the SoaServer2 down, then restart it, what we got in em console
*[-] SoaInfra (SoaServer1)*
[+] CompositeLabTest
*[-] SoaInfra (SoaServer2)*
[+] CompositeLabTest
. so until today my soa suite 11g clustering experience is never going good practice.. any of you may had experience with clustering too, how that can be done? please respon...
thanks

Edited by: wildsoft on Apr 27, 2010 4:13 PMHi there.
Me too I have a similar problem with cluster deployment.
I have two different domains in two different phisical machine on the same LAN.
These domains are equals and the sole difference is regarding the IP configuration:
domain 1
machine 172.0.0.1
soaadmin 172.0.0.1
soa1 172.0.0.2
soa1 172.0.0.3
domain 2
machine 172.0.1.1
soaadmin 172.0.1.1
soa1 172.0.1.2
soa1 172.0.1.3
When I try to deploy a new composite from the EM this fails (it remains in waiting for a response like the followed)
<Jun 18, 2010 10:42:00 AM CEST> <Warning> <org.apache.myfaces.trinidadinternal.context.RequestContextImpl> <BEA-000000> <Could not find partial trigger idArchiveFileBrowserDialog from RichInputText[UIXEditableFacesBeanImpl, id=idArchiveLoc]>
Processing sar=/tmp/dir2448127768139530528tmp/sca_SOAComposite1_rev1.0.jar
Adding sar file - /tmp/dir2448127768139530528tmp/sca_SOAComposite1_rev1.0.jar
Creating HTTP connection to host:172.0.0.2, port:10002
What I checked:
In multicast configuration soa1 (domain1) sent the request to all soa servers in the LAN (even in that one that aren't configurated in his domain)
In unicast configuration soa1 (domain1) sent the request only to the soa2 (domain1) server but it remain in waiting for a response for all the time.
What it is strange is that if I stop the domain2 the request can be performed and my composite is deployed in both the servers.
Any idea about this strange behaviour?

Hi
I'm trying to use Tab Images in APEX 4.0.1, but have hit a couple of bugs.
Firstly, I'm using the substitution string #TAB_IMAGE# in the page template. This is described in the help as "Image File Name", however this is replaced with the full image tag. I believe the help text is very misleading in this instance.
Secondly, and this is by far the bigger problem, the img tag that replaces #TAB_IMAGE# has the image prefix hard coded into the src! So if the Current Tab Image for my tab is set to http://www.example.com/images/tab1.png then the source for the image in my case is /i/http://www.example.com/images/tab1.png which is incorrect.
This means that images for tabs MUST always be in the directory referenced by the #IMAGE_PREFIX# substitution string.
Am I missing something here? Is there a workaround? Currently we are unable to use Tab Images due to this.
Many thanks
SaraHello Sara,
The behavior you are describing is a long time known issue. It is a bug that should have been resolved by now, but for some reason was not. Maybe it’s because none of the default (built-in) page templates is using images with TABs.
The workaround is to create your own img tag in the appropriate page template section, using the #TAB_NAME# substitution string. The principle is to name your corresponding images like current_#TAB_NAME#.gif and non_current_#TAB_NAME#.gif, where the #TAB_NAME# part in the file name is replaced with the actual tab name. So, for a TAB called EMP, you’ll have two image files by the names current_EMP.gif and non_current_EMP.gif.

Arie.

Anychart: Bug when using chart template and Javascript
Hi all,
When I create a chart using custom xml and a template -
<templates path="#IMAGE_PREFIX#Chart_templates/my_chart_template.xml"/>If I call toggle a series using some javascript:
var chart = getChart(); // function created by the chart embedding javascript to capture a reference to the chart object
chart.showSeries('population_average', $('input[is_series_toggle="true"]').is(':checked'));
chart.refresh();The series is toggled correctly but the chart is refreshed without applying the chart template, so it looks ugly.
Anychart claim this is an Apex specific issue because Apex uses a special build of Anychart? Anyone else encountered this problem and have a workaround. Or any other suggestions would be welcome.Hello Sara,

I,m having problems trying to file my SARS tax returns via SARS efiling on their website sarsefiling.co.za .They use adobe reader to open their documents ie EMP201 PAYE and EMP501 VAT returns
it won,t open the document in order for me to capture the company information on their website . I have mozzilla firefox as my protection for sites and emails I go through mozzilla to open adobe documents /attachments . it seems with SARS website doesn,t like this .So how do i go around trying to do my job at work . Thanks linda Desperate now ...........I think I found a Windows setting that is causing the issue. I'm using
my LCD HDTV as the monitor for this computer, and in order to see the display easily, I have the following setting in Windows 7: Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Make text and other items larger or smaller > 150%.
When I change this to the default of 100%, the problems with Reader X in Firefox and IE disappear. Reader 9, however, works perfectly at 100% and 150%.
Is this a known bug in Reader X? Since the problem only appeared when moving from Reader 9 to Reader X, it seems it's not an unsolveable incompatability or something that's too difficult to work around.
Do any others with their displays magnified have this problem? Or does it work perfectly? Would anyone (preferably with Windows 7 64-bit) be willing to set their display magnification to 150% and see if they can replicate the problem? -
A fatal error was reported by SAR firmware during initialization
Dears,
After upgrading the SMU to one of our IOS XR GSR, we got the following error:
g_spa_2[173]: SPA ATM1/2 SAR: A fatal error was reported by SAR firmware during initialization: Firmware version mismatch [Error code 2002]. SPA will reset
The line card went into constant reload.
I could not locate any bug related.
Could it be hardware issue ?
Thanks,
Michel.it could be the wrong hw rev for the atm spa is used (I thought you needed a V2).
that could be part of the problem.
alternatively, I would let the SIP boot without the SPA, invoke a fpd update, insert the SPA, try to update the fpd of the SPA, if that still fails, I think you need to open a tac case.
doesnt look like a hw failure to me, but this is a hw issue (fw revision situation)

Why does FMS sets SAR to .mp4 to force 4:3 aspect ratio?
We record .mp4 file from live video stream from Digital Rapids and then process it with ffmpeg.
Live stream has 576x324 resolution (16:9 ratio is assumed).
It is recorded and seems fine, but has SAR value 3:4, which results in DAR equal 4:3.
It is taken into consideration by ffmpeg later on, and we get an oblate picture. That's a problem.
We came to a conclusion that SAR is set based on formula (4:3)/(width/height), so every recorded video has DAR equals 4:3.
Why is that happening? What can we do to have DAR equal to 16:9?I've found a cure for this bug!! As apple support on the phone convinced me this realy was a bug, there is no way to fix it within Imovie, (and no one seems to have a reaction at all ... ), I checked the Apple site for downloads. There I found MovieConverter Studio. A shareware program which can take the simulated 16:9 DV input and make it into a DV input Imovie recognizes as 4:3.
It can do a lot more, but it does solve my problem.

AEBS - WPA2 Personal - Security bug?
If I hide my wireless network i.e create a closed network such that I have to join that network, select the encryption type (WPA2 personal) and then type in the password - there seems to be a bug. In that if the password is typed in wrongly and I get press the try again option it just lets me into the network anyway.
WPA2 is only secure if you use a strong password. a pre shared key that is weak is vulnerable to brute force dictionary attack.
BT routers are not made by BT they are just a speedtouch thompson router in sheeps clothing. They show up in the sidebar.
Other routes i have setup
linksys
netgear
zyxel
apple base stations
dlink
Billion
any Sar chipsets
Belkin
and may more DONT show up in the sidebar.
many isp's use the dreaded speedtouch router rebranded with their own logo.
These routers work fine as modems but don't work well as routers. They crash, they over heat they are buggy. The problem is that most dslams in the UK are alcatel so ISP's use thompson/alcatel adsl router as they prove to be the most compatible for good sync speeds. But the problem is the speedtouch routers are inefficient.
Alcatel have been consistently making bad products for years. Anyone remember the dreaded USB speedtouch? -
Bug with keyref with "." as selector
Seems like there may be a bug in the instance validation XMLBeans 1.0.
If I have an element that looks like the following, the instance validator always
fails saying it cannot find the key. If I move the keyref statement outside the
element into the parent element (and changing the keyref selector accordingly),
then all is well.
Any ideas?
Here's a sample of what doesn't work:
<element name="fooBar">
<complexType>
<sequence>
<element name="foo" type="string" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
</sequence>
<attribute name="bar" type="string" use="required"/>
</complexType>
<keyref name="barRef" refer="barKey">
<!-- problem here - XML Beans doesn't like "." -->
<selector xpath="."/>
<field xpath="@bar"/>
</keyref>
</element>This is actually the correct behaviour. It's a subtle point in the original spec
that was cleared up in the errata[1]. Because key values only propagate up the
tree, the keyref must be at the same level as the key, or an ancestor of the key.

After some more testing and fiddling, it looks like the problem is more
serious
than this.
XML Beans seems to have problems validating keyrefs that refer to a key
declared
outside the scope of where the keyref is declared. In other words, if
the parent
declares a key, child elements can't use it in a keyref.
I've attached a sample schema that reproduces a problem with XML Beans
1.0.
XML Beans incorrectly fails schema validation of instance documents that
are actually
correct according to this schema.
The following errors are reported from XML Beans validate.cmd when the
associated
test document
is processed. The only correct error below is the one with "I DO NOT
EXIST".
C:\temp\test.xml:18: error: Key 'Mary Jones' not found (keyRef keyRefNestedTeamMember@test)
C:\temp\test.xml:20: error: Key 'Billy Lee' not found (keyRef keyRefNestedTeamMember@test)
C:\temp\test.xml:21: error: Key 'I DO NOT EXIST' not found (keyRef keyRefNestedTeamMember@test)
C:\temp\test.xml:21: error: Key 'Sara Washington' not found (keyRef keyRefNestedTeamMember@test)
C:\temp\test.xml:21: error: Key 'Mary Jones' not found (keyRef keyRefSecondLevelNestedTeamMember@test)
Seems like there may be a bug in the instance validation XMLBeans 1.0.
If I have an element that looks like the following, the instance validator
always
fails saying it cannot find the key. If I move the keyref statementoutside
the
element into the parent element (and changing the keyref selector accordingly),
then all is well. -
Sar ignored in javac classpath
We are in the process of moving from Java 1.4 (1.4.2_02 on Linux) to Java 5 (1.5.0_12) and since we deploy to a JBoss environment we generate .sar files. In some cases those .sar files are used in the classpath when compiling other packages. Using the javac in Sun JDK on Linux version 1.5.0_12 the .sar files in the classpath are ignored. If I do a javac -verbose I can see that the .sar files are left out of the classpath even though they ar epresent on the command line. Does anyone know if this is a bug in the JDK or is intended behavior?
Hi,
are there any clues on this issue?
I have the same problem while moving from 1.5.0_06 to 1.5.0_14.
You can even reference very uncommon extentions (i.e. rename a *.jar to *.bug) in the 06 version. The newer version quietly ignores this reference and leaves you with a "cannot find symbol". -
