SAVE_TEXT problem - it can't lock??

Hi, ALL.
I use the Function Module 'SAVE_TEXT' in my Zprogram.
It update the Sales long text in MM02.
When a user is in MM02, 'SAVE_TEXT' the Function Module doesn't return error message.
I think it's a LOCK error, but it's not.
Do I need to check LOCK before call function 'SAVE_TEXT' in Zprogram??
If you know that, please let me know.

Your program must use the same logic than the standard program to manage locks.
- Lock same object(s) (ENQUEUE_Exxxx)
- Use same FMs like SELECT_TEXT, READ_TEXT, INIT_TEXT, SAVE_TEXT or similar tools
Tips: Execute transaction SE30 on MM02 and update a text, then evaluate the performance data file, look for call to FM starting with ENQUEUE or calls containing TEXT in the trace.
Remarks:
- A Save module is a little late to manage lock, no ?
- "I think it's a LOCK error, but it's not", it is a LOCK error, but in your program
- You could use BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA (table parameter MATERIALLONGTEXT) to update/create text, this one manages locks.

"Can't lock iPod" and other problems!!

I'm trying to restore my iPod and on iPod Updater i click restore and it says "Can't lock iPod. Please check if any other applications are using iPod and try again". There are no other applications using the iPod. Please help me!

and this is after having a bad time with the first one now this. I am not really confident with Apple. I noticed no one has responded to this issue. And I really have logged in over 3 hours on hold to get a replacement. Not happy with Apple.

Apps and Music are not from iCloud. Are from iTunes and App Store.
You can change this from: Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Sign out and sign in with new ID, but you will have to pay again to download apps that you already have in your old account. Or leave it as it is to share purchases with your son.

Can you lock the screen so it doesn't become a touch screen when watching videos!??
Just got new ipod (7th gen) and this driving me crazy that I think I'm going to continue to use my older one unless there is a solution out there. I watch tv shows while commuting and while walking here or there I have to 'palm' the ipod or walk with it at my side, and the problem is that since the touch screen is sooooo sensitive I keep fwding/rewinding/swiping the screen to something else, and then to get back to that part in the video is a pain because unlike the older ipod you can just fwd a few secs, this one jumps minutes because it's so sensitive. PLEASE tell me there's a way to lock it from accidently touching it!

No - there is no such switch on the iPad - the switches control volume, muting, screen rotation, and the home button itself.
You could place it behind a screen of some sort so touching the outer screen won't affect the iPad screen - I've seen ads for 'presentation kiosk' type devices for the iPad that allow this, although I'm not sure how practical they would be in the backseat of a car.

Well, you managed to find this support forum didn't you and you have an internet connection don't you? Then if you have all these things, go and find the number by going to the Verizon website and it should not be hard to find the number.
As for speaking English, this is not really our problem and it is surely something that you should have thought about before buying the phone in the first place.
You also need to know that Verizon in the US is a cdma operator and if you purchased an iPhone 4s, then it should not be locked. The Verizon 4s comes with a sim card tray that should be unlocked out of the box for use internatinoally on gsm networks, so all you should need to do is open the sim card tray and insert a sim card and you should pick up the local gsm network.
A cdma phone does not actually use a sim card, so there would be no original sim card with the phone because when it is used in the US it will pick up the Verizon cdma network without a sim card. The sim card is only for use on a gsm network which will not work in the US, but is designed to work outside the US. Open the sim card tray and insert your own local sim card and the phone should work and should not be locked.
Other than this, if you purchased the phone in the first place, it is the responsibility of the previous owner to cancel the Verizon contract. This is nothing to do with you, so contact the seller and ask them.
Other wise, go to the Verizon website and look up the number and call them. As they are the phone company, ultimately, they are the only ones who can help you.

Can't lock the screen anymore with a password

I can't lock the screen anymore since I installed Mavericks. I have assigned a password to the screensaver in the system preferences, but when I activate the screensaver on my iMac 8,1 it does not ask for the password when I wake it up from sleep. I have checked the option in the security preferences that the Mac should ask for a password immediately.
Any idea how the enable the password?

Okay, the problem is solved. I don't really know how - I just restarted the mac several times and now it works.

Okay, I apologize, belay my last posting :/
This evening after a whole day of working fine (again), I had the same problem, but this time my idea couldn't fix it. One point I'd like to make is to NOT listen to your ears when troubshooting your ipod. When your ipod is turning off, try tuning into the radio. Mine tells me that it isn't recognizing my earbuds and won't even turn on the radio. I'm going to try to clean the connection out, but really? This is freakin' new, Apple people! Maybe its a way for the company to make you purchase new accessories for the ipod they replaced with the recall :/

Hi everyboy, can I lock af folder so that I cnnot rename it, but still can edit and create files within it?
The problem being that I keep changing the name of a dropbox folder, which then needs to sync again.

Copy and paste this command in the Terminal and leave a space after it.
Then, drag your folder onto the Terminal window. It will expand the path out for that folder. Hit return.
chmod +a "group:everyone deny delete"
This will add the Access Control Entry that prevents anyone from deleting the folder, which also prevents renaming. It will still go to the rename mode, but will require you to authenticate to complete the rename.

Can't lock the lock in accounts/ time -date and other applications

Hi I am new to these discussions and i am hoping someone can help me with my problem.
The best way is to explain what happened..
I have a 2 core duo Macbook with 10.5.1 installed and I was screen sharing with my g5 desktop that also has 10.5.1 on it, once I was done I shut down my Macbook, and when I went to start it up, later on that evening, I had to now login (Where I have always had it on automatic login ). So I went to accounts to reset it but it was still set to automatic so when I, went to lock the lock I no longer could lock it no matter how many times I would click on it. (Just to mention that the lock was open by the way which seemed odd to me because it was always locked before) The same thing now occurs in time and date. I also went to check info on my hard drive and there is no lock on the bottom right hand side when there was one before.
I went to disk utility to repair, the utility would stop after a few seconds with the message in red "The underlying task reported failure on exit" I do not know what that means at all. So there is my situation.. Did I loose something, do I need to install something. Any help work be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What will happen if I am unable to repair it?
Right now I can login, I do not like doing it I wish the automatic function worked but I guess at this point I have access to all my files and everything seems to work except that I can not lock the lock in any application and that I have to log in every time I start up. The only other thing is I can not do any disk permission repair.
I will pick up a disk warrior when it is ready to 10.5.
I guess my original question is will my computer be ok like this or will things get worse?

Can I lock InDesign files?

Can I lock InDesign files in CC if multiple users are wishing to access and edit the same files, to prevent conflicts?
It looks in CS5/6 as if this was done via Managed Files but not clear if it can be done on CC.

Our team don't use InCopy.... the fact "Assignments" are never mentioned wrt InDesign in isolation led me to believe they weren't what we were looking for? (Can only be accessed in the context of working with InCopy?)

Can we lock the reservation while entering GI (like the PO is locked while entering GR)?
Steps that made a problem.
1. User A enter MIGO and key GI ref. reservation. (Not save yet)
2. User B enter MIGO and key GI ref. the same reservation.
3. Both of them save the materail document.
Then stock was double issued.
The problem happens when the system was slow too. User A enter GI ref. reservation and save it. The system has not finished updating. User A cannot see the material document, so he thinks the update was unsuccessful and enters it again.
I think if we can lock the reservation while entering GI, it will solved this problem.
If you know how or have another idea, please suggest me.

Satellite M30: I can not lock in my wirelesss network

I have a Satellite M30 and since yesterday I can not lock in my wirelesss network. Every now and then I can see the network, but I can not make a connection. Additional the sound and mousepad is stuttering when the wireless is turned on, both is fine when wireless is switched of.
I recovered the system, but the problem is still there.
Any help for me out there?

It is always interesting when someone write since yesterday. Believe me who knows what did you done and now there is some negative influence on to WLAN. In this case I am pretty sure that there is some mistake caused by you. Check WLAN settings on the unit and on your router too.
I really dont know what is wrong with sound and mouse. Does this issue occur if the unit is connected on to AC adapter or just under battery power supply?
