Savings generated by going the cloud route?

Hi all,How do we as a company calculate the expenses we are going to see by going a Microsoft Azure Cloud route? Ive looked at the calculator, but it seems to me thats its more a "guesstimate" your current load thing.Since microsoft does not backup anything (they do replication), will we need a offsite backup solution for sharepoint/exchange etc.? in my view Replication/DAGs are not backup, and recovery bin functions are normally very limited in their range (fx 30 days). How do we calculate the expenses for that? (Is it just traffic+storage ? )When is the right time to go in the cloud? We normally look into upgrading servers+storage every 3-4 years, and i assume the cost saving is with regards to the amount of $$ i shell out for new hardware. All cash up front vs paying a monthly fee.Are there any way to calculate savings in staffing,...

I just recently started playing around with Powershell and decide to try and create a simple script. Basically I'd like to be able to test up to 4 connection using Test-Connection and have it respond back with a message saying if the specific host is available or not.For example, if there are 4 devices at once I'd like it to read me back the specific host that did not respond.The code below is what I've developed if I chose to only test one host, however I get an error that says ComputerName is null or empty.I'd appreciate any help.
