SAXParser Error

Question

Hi
I have written a code for reading the xml data using SAXParser.... my code is like this :
package example.sax;
import javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory;
import org.xml.sax.Attributes;
import org.xml.sax.XMLReader;
import org.xml.sax.helpers.DefaultHandler;
import org.xml.sax.helpers.XMLReaderFactory;
class Cheapest extends DefaultHandler{
     double min = Double.MAX_VALUE;
     String vendor = null;
     public void startElement(String name,Attributes attributes){
          if(name.equals("price")){
               String attribute = attributes.getValue("price");
               if(attribute != null){
                    double price = toDouble(attribute);
                    if(min > price){
                         min = price;
                         vendor = attributes.getValue("vendor");
     public double toDouble(String string){
          Double stringDouble = Double.valueOf(string);
          if(stringDouble != null){
               return stringDouble.doubleValue();
          }else {
               return 0.0;
     public String getVendor(){
          return vendor;
     public double getMinimum(){
          return min;
public class SAXParserExample {
     public static void main(String args[])throws Exception {
          Cheapest cheapest = new Cheapest();
          XMLReader xmlReader = XMLReaderFactory.createXMLReader("javax.xml.parsers.SAXParser");
          xmlReader.setDTDHandler(cheapest);
          xmlReader.parse(args[0]);
          System.out.println(cheapest.getMinimum()+":"+cheapest.getVendor());
when i am running this i am getting the following error :
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalAccessException: Class org.xml.sax.helpers.NewInstance can not access a member of class javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory with modifiers "protected"
     at org.xml.sax.helpers.XMLReaderFactory.loadClass(Unknown Source)
     at org.xml.sax.helpers.XMLReaderFactory.createXMLReader(Unknown Source)
     at example.sax.SAXParserExample.main(SAXParserExample.java:52)
please help me ....
