Schedule Line Query

Hi All,
I have come across a unique situation at this moment of time.
The issue is with Schedule Line Determination -> In one of the many faulty sales orders { due to which period closing has stopped - mismatch of data} the schedule line category is getting determined eventhough the assignment {Item Category + MRP type} is missing in schedule line determination in SPRO !!!! The only problem is not the schedule line category.. but there are @ 7 line items in sales order {free issues} and there is one Z-table which would determine the movement type in these free issue depending upon Sales area + WBS + Order Reason.. out of these 7 line items only for one item movement type 973 {free issues} is getting determined which is right... but for others 601 is getting determined... which is weired !!!
Any one has some idea about this strange thing ???

The old orders can't be deleted as they are lot in numbers and already posted to FI.
Now, I have simulated the case with same line items and one interesting thing which I've observed is as below:
- Created SO with order reason which is NOT there in the Z-table { didn't press enter yet}
- Entered only one line item with quantity
- Pressed enter
- Went to see the schedule line {sch. line category CP got determined} -> procurement to see the movemet type
- The movement type is 601 which is getting picked up from CP
- Then changed the order reason to the one which is THERE in the Z-table
- Entered second line item with quantity
- Then pressed on ENTER
- I got below error message
> Item 000010: Movement type conflict with order reason.
>Message no. ZV01003
>Diagnosis
>During entry of 'free issues', if there is an entry in table ZVFREEISSUES for the sales area and order >reason, the schedule line movement type is redetermined by a user-exit.

- Now when I cancelled the error message, surprisingly I was able to create the order !!!
- When I went to see the order I could see that two line items are having different movement types !!!
- So, I believe this is where the probelm lies now which needs to be checked with an ABAP guy which I am doing now.
Now, I am closing this thread and I'd like to thank all of the members who were involved in this issue for lot many days...
I will post the route cause in this thread itself once it gets figured out which may be useful for everyone if in future someone else faces this kind of problem...

Hi.
You can use the function module RV_SCHEDULE_CHECK_DELIVERIES to get the delivered quantity corresponding to schedule line item in sales order.
Please refer below code:

Order of delivery schedule line counter at schedule agreements from MRP run

Currently we are using schedule agreements for our long term external suppliers, but we are facing a problem with the order of new delivery schedule lines created during MRP run.
Because of master data settings like, lot size, rounding value, plan delivery time and planning time fence to set as firm new requirements, multiple schedule lines are created with no order for schedule line counter.
Does anyone is aware of a BADI, user exit or customizing control to have this schedule line counter in order?

Schedule Lines not generated for MRP Type PD

HI All,
I have created Schduling Agreement, maintained Source List with MRP Relevant - 2 option and maintained Vendor as Fix, maintained info record.
I have created a material with MRP type as PD and lot size as EX, and strategy group as MTS. Now when i enter requirement through MD61 and do MRP Run through MD02, system is generating PR instead of Del Schdule line inspite of schduling agreement.
But If i change MRP type to VB and maintain reorder point and maintain min lot size, then system generates Del Schdule lines for the same material.
What could be the reason. I want delivery schedules based on MRP Type PD.
Where I am wrong in MRP Views or in any cutomization. It seems that purchasing part is fine since it creats scudles line so no problem in SA or in Source List.

Simple answer:put parameter 'delivery schedule line' as '3'(schedule lines in opening period) without simulation mode.
Please make sure you don't make any change with previous settings(custom)
please get it done and revert.

Two delivery documents for a single schedule line of scheduling agreement

i have a query,
client needs the information of each schedule line delivery details. if all the quantiry in a schedule line is delivered in single delivery ,i can get the ref. from delivery header,,item details table.
if i need to deliver through 2 or 3 documents instead of 1,then where i can get the information related to the qunatity delivered in each delivery...where i can get that details....
i am seaqrching in vbep,likp,lips....these tables ....
can i have some more info related to this one ...plz

Schedule line items facility in PS

Hi friends,
There is the Schedule lines functionality in Sales Order. This is used for planning the despatch schedules date wise.
Now I am attaching a Finished Goods BOM to an activity in a Project, say of 50 quantity. Is there any standard functionality in PS which will facilitate the despatch planning like we do with the help of schedule lines in sales order?

hi,
IF you assign the material to activity and procure the project specific Q stock, through CNS0 you can deliver the components at any time. then only VL02n the picking is done. in this process sales order never comes into picture hence schedule line concept declared in SO can't be made applicable here as standard. also Q stock is not considered under standard availability check creteria.
Schedule line is the tentative declaration of stage wise completation/delivery from the system. but in project withoout release of activity the further process is not taken place, both things at a time may make contradiction.
if at all the case then 1 work around can be prepare sales order , transfer Q stock to SO stock then do dispatch

Schedule line problem

Hello guys..
When I was making an order at the schedule line tabpage I am getting another delivery date along with the current delivery date in display mode.
That extra delivery date is having ordering quantity as zero and confirmed quantity with a number which i hv given at the time of making that order in a display mode and the current delivery date is having ordering quantity as that perticuler number,confirmed quantity as zero.
What could be the solution?

Hi ,
When stock is not available on requested Delivery date by the Customer, 2 lines will be there in Schedule lines tab, on with Zero quantity and another with confimed Quantity with the date on which material is available for Delivery to the Customer.
Here system calculates total time i.e. Total Production time or Produrement Time depending on the Business.
The Date on which Material will be available in the Ware house, it will give that date as confirmed date in Schedule Line tab in Sales Order.

Open quantity for scheduling lines

I need calculate open quantity from scheduling lines(based on date) for Scheduling Agreement (similar like VL10I works). I noticed that open quantity is not maintain in VBEP. So could you help me?

For calculating open quantity for scheduling lines ,u need to query the sales order number in table VBUK and check the field GBSTK , it will be an open order .
You can look in table VBAKUK for this .
This is Join of VBAK and VBUK entries. You can eliminate a join if you fetch it from VbakUk
Now once it is confirmed that it is open then fetch the entries from VBAP.

Without release schedule agreement schedule lines should not be maintain

i made a schedule agreement and i have given 2 level of releases for it.. so with out releasing i maintained schedule lines in me38, then i made migo then system says the document has not been released yet. but what my query is schedule lines should not be happened with out release means it should stop here only. So how to give check for it.i have searched in system messages but nothing is there in that. So please solve this problem its urgent.

Two schedule lines despite sufficient stock

Hi Gurus,
My order form shows two schedule lines even after maintaing sufficient quantities in the respective plant location.....another strange happening which I comprehended was if at all I create order with reference to quotation then order form confirms and me the qty....but if I create a seperate order then the qtys are not confirmed....what wud be the reason?..........
Also to understand the importance of checking rules like individual requirement and daily requirement I tried changing checking rule from individual to daily....but I cud not see any changes...where do I see the changes?.......

The reason for your first query that you get 2 schedule lines even though you have stocks could be due to the fact that delivery and transportation scheduling would be on and the system is adding the pick/pack/load/transit time also. So, if the requested date is for today and you have stocks also, system would still create a 2nd sch. line since it is adding the above mentioned times.
for your 2nd doubt, do you get the same schedule line category in both the cases?

Qestion on Schedule Lines

Sd Gurus,
Wondering how to change my schedule lines to deliver what ever date i need. I created Sales Order with delivery date and pricing date today, and offcource i checked the stock in mmbe/md04 and have unrestricted stock available. But system creating schedule lines and confirming delivery on after 2 days. How to change it confirm on the same day if i have enough stock. Thanks and your help is greatly appreciated.

If i have understood correctly your query,then you should look into the Route definition in scheduling aggrement for the perticular customer.
If i am wrong & you find the correct answer pls inform me.

The schedule line catagory for the Cash Sales is CN- No MRP. As the cash sales dont need MRP the materials has to be delivered and invoiced immediately.

Using SQVI to generate report of open and released delivery schedule lines

All,
I'm using SQVI to generate an excel spreadsheet for some buyers to show open released schedule lines because they are a 1 line item per scheduling agreement company.
I used the logical database MEPOLDB instead of a table joint and pulled fields from EKKO(vendor, SA #,&purchasing group), EKPO(Material Number), EKEH(schedule line type), and EKET(delivery date, scheduled qty,previous qty).
Does this sound like I'll get the results I want on paper as long as I use the right selection criteria, because the report I'm getting isn't quite what I expect? I am unable to identify which lines are authorized to ship vs. trade-off zone, planning, etc. in the report thus far.

I have faced same requirement. I am not sure about transporting to TST and PROD. I done by this way.
After generating SQVI program in DEV , I assigned that program to a transaction and tested in DEV. Later i have regenarated SQVI in Production. then I assigned the generated Program to same transaction in DEV. And transported the Tcode assignment of program to Production..
About authorization , if its not sensitive report, BASIS can restrict at transaction level.

Some info abt SCHEDULE LINES - VBEP; VBBE for OPEN quantites?

Am trying to show up the OPEN or BALANCE or BACK quantities in the report FOR EACH SCHEDULE LINE FOR EACH ITEM/POSNR.
So, I need to look/subtract the VBEP-WMENG, VBFA-RFMNG for Delivery i.e. "J" VBTYP_N and the BALANCE I hv to show up.
So, pls. let me know How Can I build the logic betwn VBEP, VBFA, VBBE? Is VBBE-MBDAT is comes into picture?
