Schema Validation failing

HI Experts,
below is my schema record
<test>asas ss4s</test>, this is my pattern type.
when i try to validate the instance, it is failing for the space between two words.
How can I pass this message..Needed very urgently please.
Thanks in Advance.

A string is a pretty trivial thing to validate.  Is the type set to xs:string? That's probably all you need.
If you received the schema from someone else, you need to ask them why spaces are disallowed.
Also, it would be helpful to post the actual error you received, without context, there's no way anyone can answer this.

  • XML Schema validator fails to load XML Schema from URL

    I'm trying to validate an XML document against a set of XML Schemas and the parser seems to freak out: even though all the schemas are referred to in the XML and are properly recognized by Schemas field in XML document properties, I get warnings (multiple
    instances):
    Request for the permission of type 'System.Net.WebPermission, System, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed
    Cannot resolve the 'schemaLocation' attribute
    The schema referenced from this location in your document contains errors
    The warning locations are also seemingly random - errors in schema locations are reported on closing tags inside XML or on whitespaces, and so on.
    The first warning (System.Net.WebPermission) suggests it has something to do with access to remote schemas, but all the necessary remote schemas are visible in XML Schema Set editor for the document. I also enabled downloading of XML schemas in XML text
    editor options.

    Hi Tomasz,
    Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.
    Since this issue is related to the XML Schemas, so we will move this case to the XML forum:https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/home?forum=xmlandnetfx

  • Runtime Schema Validation Failing for Mediator Composite

    Hi,
    I am trying an implementation where I am checking the option 'Validate XSD' available in the mediator.However when I am testing the composite the following exception is coming:
    java.lang.NullPointerException
    at oracle.tip.mediator.service.validation.ValidatorFactory.getSchemaFromComponentModel(ValidatorFactory.java:146)
    at oracle.tip.mediator.service.validation.Validator
    A similar null pointer exception used to come for 10g version where on applying a particular patch the exception had gone.But again a similar exception is coming for 11g.
    What can be a possible solution?
    Thanks.

    Hi - you might want to hold off on testing this XSD validation feature as we have moved this capability to the infrastructure service level since this tech preview was released.

  • 12779543 DASHBOARD ERROR CATALOG OBJECT SCHEMA VALIDATION FAILED AGFIXBO2:E

    I'm receiving the above-referenced error on OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0. I'm only seeing it when I try to access OOTB segments. I haven’t seen it on any customized reports.
    Can anyone shed light on this issue? I know it existed in version 11.1.1.5.0 but I thought it was fixed with the latest.
    Thank you,
    RobertG

    You are right as per the ID 1412748.1 this bug was fixed.
    Check with Oracle, that may help you.

  • Getting schema validation working in Eclipse with Coherence 3.7.1.0

    Just wondered if anyone had got schema validation to work in Eclipse (3.5 - Galileo) for Coherence 3.7.1.0?
    The Coherence developer docs show that you should add sections like this:
    <pof-config xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/coherence/coherence-pof-config"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://xmlns.oracle.com/coherence/coherence-pof-config
    coherence-pof-config.xsd">
    However, if I use that "shortened" form (for cache, pof, etc. configs) Eclipse gives a warning "No grammar constraints (DTD or XML schema) detected for the document." and the schema validation fails to work (i.e. no "auto pop-ups" when entering content, and rubbish content is gladly accepted.)
    In Coherence 3.7.0, I'd used the following "extended" form (note the longer "schemaLocation") to get things working correctly:
    <pof-config xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/coherence/coherence-pof-config"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://xmlns.oracle.com/coherence/coherence-pof-config
    http://xmlns.oracle.com/coherence/coherence-pof-config/1.0/coherence-pof-config.xsd">
    Also note that entering the "http://xmlns.oracle.com/coherence/coherence-pof-config/1.0/coherence-pof-config.xsd" in a web browser opens the xsd, as you'd expect.
    Now...
    I'm looking at the PofAnnotationSerializer in 3.7.1.0 and the "auto indexing" option. The declaration in my pof file for it fails as the "class" (or fully-qualified java.lang.Class version) in the "init-params" section isn't valid. If I look at the xsd on the url above, this is indeed the case, that option does not appear.
    However, if I look at the POF xsd in the coherence.jar file for 3.7.1.0, the "class" option has been added, and has a newer 'version="1.1"' added to it's schema declaration. So I therefore tried to point my "extended" declaration to point to " http://xmlns.oracle.com/coherence/coherence-pof-config/1.1/coherence-pof-config.xsd", in order to get schema validation to work in Eclipse with this new schema. Unfortunately that url doesn't exist - you get a "Content Server Request Failed" error.
    So, I guess my question is, is there a way to get myself pointed at the 1.1 versions of the xsd's so I can have schema validation working in Ecliipse? Or is there another workaround (did a bit of Googling, but that mainly seemed to be people switching validation off to simply get rid of the error...)
    Cheers,
    Steve

    Cheers, Dave.
    I had in fact had a try at extracting the xsd and pointing to it directly, and that did indeed work (had to do this following the same steps shown below using an "entry" in the XML Catalog.)
    I had a look around at some of the other "entries" in Eclipse by default and noticed that they actually refer to xsd's directly within the jars, hence saving the extraction step and keeping screw-ups down to a minimum; a bit of playing around to get the syntax right and I finally managed to get it working.
    For those who are interested (NB. my Coherence 3.7.1.0 install is in a directory "c:\coherence3.7"), the steps are:
    In Eclipse, Go to Window->Preferences->XML->XML Catalog. Then create a "User Specified Entry".
    In the "Location", add (without the quotes): "jar:file:/C:/coherence3.7/coherence/lib/coherence.jar!/coherence-pof-config.xsd"
    In the "Key Type", add (without the quotes): "Namespace Name"
    In the "Key", add (without the quotes): "http://xmlns.oracle.com/coherence/coherence-pof-config"
    The schema validation now works fine. Eclipse shows no warnings/errors, and the auto-complete and validation are fully functional.
    Still, it would be nice to get the "1.1" urls updated to point to the schemas on the Oracle site, to avoid all our developers from having to make these changes (and of course avoid them pointing at an older, out-of-date local install of coherence.)
    Cheers,
    Steve

  • Processing Schema Validation error in BPM?

    Hi all,
    We have a file to IDOC scenario where if the schema validation fails on the file adapter sender agreement, we want to pull the filename and send it in an error email. So, we are talking about the adapter specific message attribute "Filename".
    unfortunately, this does not seem to be available as a container element for alert catagories in ALRTCATDEF. So, we are starting to look into using BPM to send a email via the email adapter. However, since the validation happens prior to BPM being called I am at a bit of a loss. Any ideas on how to get the email with the filename out to the suport group would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

  • Schema Validation failure in SOA Suite 11.1.1.6.0 but not in 11.1.1.7.0

    I have a composite that is deployed on both a SOA Suite 11.1.1.6.0 and 11.1.1.7.0 server.
    The composite exposes a service that my application subscribes to and sends messages to so the BPMN process can handle the request.

  • Payload Validation failing for EBM

    Hi,
    I have a composite which takes input based on a simple XSD.
    Inside the composite the input is mapped to Sales Order EBM and this EBM is sent as input to other composite.
    For data validation purpose, I switched on Payload Validation for this composite in Weblogic EM.
    The input data validation works fine but it's throwing follwing error while invoking composite which accepts EBM as input.

    </remoteFault>
    </bpelFault>
    </fault>
    The payload validation error is occuring for all composites which accepts EBM as input. It picks the attribute name just after the header and says element not expected.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

    Please ensure that you have created EBS properly, verify all the datatypes of the elements in input XSD & EBO schema. And also verify whether EBM header is reflecting properly.
    One more thing you should able to navigate from EBS to EBM, EBM to EBO then only you can assume you have done all things correctly. If not reconstruct EBS, EBM & EBO with valid request & response messages.

  • Problem when attribute fails schema validation

    I have got a problem during schema validation... let's say i have the following record:
    <employee ssn="123456789D" recordNum="10">
    <lastName>Bloggs</lastName>
    <firstName>Joe</firstName>
    <address>123 America Ave</address>
    </employee>
    apparently the attribute ssn will fail the schema, since ssn has to be all digit and length 9. Currently my schema vaildation process will keep on going to the next record if the current one fails, and write the current bad record to a error log file. the problem i have found is that if the ssn attribute validation fails, then there is no way for me to obtain the value of recordNum attribute (all elements can still be obtained).
    just wondering if anyone had similar problem...
    thanks

    My understanding of schmemas was that once an error is found the whole document is considered invalid. Kind of like if the XML file format is bad.
    If you don't mind me asking are you using DocumentBuilder to parse and is it giving you a SAXParseException?

    server?
    I have tested that I can hit
    https://fqdn_server/ews/exchange.asmx
    from the FIM Service account and the certificate is correct.

    After getting product support involved, it turns out that we were pointing the FIM Service at an Exchange 2013 server but the mailbox had been created on and was physically stored on an Exchange 2010 server. By pointing FIM at the 2010 server or by trying
    to send notifications to mailboxes on the 2013 server, we could make it work. Moving the mailbox from the 2010 server to the 2013 server did not solve the problem. It had something to do with mailboxes that were originally created on a 2010 server but
    were accessed over EWS from a 2013 server.
    It also was not a FIM issue. We used an EWS diagnostic tool (EWSEditor) to test outside of FIM and saw the same results.
    The final result to get the specific user working for notifications was to create a new mailbox for them on the Exchange 2013 server.

  • Xml validation in File to RFC Sync Scenario with Validation fails message

    Hi All,
    We are using PI 7.4 (Dual Stack) the Requirement is File to RFC Sync Scenario(File <---> RFC).and need to do XML validation against XSD Schema. if any Validations fails Response message should send back to sender.RequestResponseBean standard module is using for File to RFC Sync scenario but how to send the response message to sender if any validation fails. adapter level XML validation is not helpful for this requirement. please help out me how to achieve the requirement with graphical mapping.
    Thanks in advance.

    to validate schema you cannot solve it with graphical mapping but validating the schema in the AAE or the integration engine.
    y recomend you to use the AAE validation at sender side, coz the sender system will be notified in case of schema errors.
    The response will be validated at Integration Server level.
    you can search in the forum, you will get many document about how to configure it.
    take a look to my blog: PI 7.3  - XML Validation

  • Xml schema validation problem

    Hi All
    How to tackle this xml schema validation problem
    i am using the sample code provided by ORacle technet for xml

    This is the code i used initially for validating a xml file against single xml schema (.xsd) file
    In the above code could u tell how to specify the second schema validation code for the incoming xml.
    say i create another Schemadoc for the 2nd xml schema.
    something like this with another parameter(CHAR xsd1) passing to the method
    byte [] docbytes1 = xsd1.getBytes();
    ByteArrayInputStream in1 = new ByteArrayInputStream(docbytes1);
    XMLSchema schemadoc1 = (XMLSchema)builder.build(in1,null);
    DOMParser dp = new DOMParser();
    How to set for the 2nd xml schema validation in the above code or can i combine 2 xml schemas.
    How to go about it

  • Schema validation errors in Portal 10.3

    I downloaded, installed and configured a domain with an AdminServer and a ManagedServer for WebLogic Portal 10.3. When I start the AdminServer from NodeManager the following errors are reported:
    <Sep 24, 2008 12:50:41 PM CDT> <Error> <Management> <BEA-141244> <Schema validation errors while parsing /opt/Oracle/WL10gR3/user_projects/domains/web/config/config.xml - Invalid xsi:type qname: 'wsrp:wsrp-identity-asserterType' in element realm@http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/920/domain>
    <Sep 24, 2008 12:50:41 PM CDT> <Error> <Management> <BEA-141244> <Schema validation errors while parsing /opt/Oracle/WL10gR3/user_projects/domains/web/config/config.xml - /opt/Oracle/WL10gR3/user_projects/domains/web/<unknown>:13:9: error: failed to load java type corresponding to t=wsrp-identity-asserterType@http://www.bea.com/ns/wlp/90/security/wsrp>
    When I start the AdminServer using startWebLogic.sh there are no errors. Please advise.

    I have been at this for less than a month, so I may need a little more help. So are you saying that the product as installed has been reorganized and that all of the installed pieces may not reflect all of the changes?
    I have continued cutting down my scripts and NodeManager does not seem to be a factor. Starting from WLST does not work.
