Scode failure when executing test uuts

I'm getting an scode failure when executing the "test uuts" for my sequence. The station was working earlier so I'm not sure what happened. The test dialog starts then I get and error promt stating
Scode = 0xffffbc65
Description unknown type name '1'
error accessing item 'ModelOptions(1).NumTestSockets'
Has anyone seen this type of error before? I eneabled tracing and it looks like it hangs up at the "read model options defaults" dll.

Which process model are you using, and have you modified the process model at all? If you have modified the process model, do you still have the original copy to see if the original process model still runs? If you do have the original and it does still run properly, I would recommend trying to diff your process model with the original NI process model to see if anything is different.

Mapping failure when executed in process flow

I am currently receiving the following error on one of my mappings when I executed a process flow:
TEST_PF: NEW_MAP

PL/SQL: Statement ignored
When I execute the process flow using the control center manager, it runs normally and I only receive this error when it runs within the process flow.
Any advice on what is causing this problem and how I can fix it? Is the process flow corrupted? If so, do I have to rebuild it?

Hi,
Have you added any parameters or anything like that to your mapping from the first time you put it into the processflow?
In the processflow, select the mapping that fails and synchronize it, redeploy and try again. Or you can just delete the mapping from the process flow and add it again.
At least based on the errormessage you describe it seems like the mapping has been changed and have parameters added or removed from the first time you added it to your processflow.

Hi,
I am running a testand(2.0.1f1) sequence of labview (7.0) steps and it is working perferctly in my computer , but when installing testand and labview in another computer and I try to run my sequence the next message appears. "model entry point 'test uuts' could not be executed error -18002"
Is anyone that has an idea of what is happening here?

Hi Eren,
You might try mass compiling the TestStand folders so that all VI's are at the same Version. TestStand 2.0.1f1 installs VI's that are at ver5.1.1
When you run from the Entry Point eg "Test UUTs", before the sequence executions all VI's in all the sequence contained in the sequence file are loaded in to memory.
Look at the error message again, it should be telling you which step in which sequence of the sequence file is not executable.

How to save html response when execute a siebel load test.

First at all excusme for my english.
I need help to manage html response. I use OpenScript Version: 9.3.1.0 Production.
When i execute a siebel load test, some of the VU returns the error "12152 the server response could not be parsed". Mi boss asked me an image or html response to analize the error. But i dont now how to get it.
I search in all logs but i didn´t find nothing usefull.
Anyone know how to save the html response when execute a load test?

Which ATS version do you use? Because starting with 12.1, you have a better VU Logging capabilities.
From the OLT user guide:
The virtual user logs window has the following toolbar options:
Open - Opens an existing virtual user log.
Save as CSV - Exports the current VU log to a comma-separated value file.
Clear - Clears the virtual user logs.
View Text - Displays the source HTML for pages accessed by the virtual user.
Render HTML - Displays actual pages as accessed by the virtual user.
Auto Display - Displays pages as they are received by the viewer.
See if it can help.
If not, maybe you could implement some logics in OpenScript, but i wouldn' advice that.

Which veriable in TS store the Execute mode (Test UUTs, Single Pass etc..)

I'm writing a program in CVI7.0 with TS3.0. I would like to inquire the TS to the Execute mode.--was the user selected Test UUTs (F5), or Single Pass (Ctr F5), or 'Run Main Sequence' or 'Run Selected Steps'.
Can you advise how to do that?

To determine which Execution Entry Point is being used to call your client, you can use the TestStand 3.0 API to call properties an methods that will return to you the name of the root sequence. I have attached a sequence file that makes ActiveX calls to the API to do just that and displays the result in a Message Popup step. If follows these steps:
1. Get the root context (this will be the context of the sequence of the process model that is used to execute, ie: Test UUT, or Single Pass).
2. Get the sequence from the root context.
3. Get the name of the sequence.
4. Display the name (if it is a Test UUT, I have preconditions set up to only display it on the first UUT tested).
If you chose, "Run Main Sequence", the name that you rec
eive will be "MainSequence" because the root sequence is not a Process Model sequence, but the MainSequence of the client file.

How to fix iWeb Test Connection Failure when i have correct login information??

I have been using iWeb and updating my site with no issues. Suddenly I can not connect to the FTP and when i test the connection with the correct login information i get a message that a connection could not be established. I'm not real familiar with how iWeb works to post to our website so i'm confused on why it is not connecting. Any help would be great!

Sometimes the built in iWeb ftp does this. You can test to see if it is an iWeb problem by perhaps trying a dedicated ftp programme instead such as the free Cyberduck. Download Cyberduck and then you'll have to publish your website from iWeb to a local folder and then use Cyberduck to connect to your host with the same log in details and see if this works. If Cyberduck can connect to your host/server, then the problem is with iWeb.

we are implementing datavault on an existing 11g DB.The database is up and running fine , but DBCA shows this error when I am trying to configure datavault using DBCA.
I have created a spfile from the same pfile, and Db does not show any error while coming up or shutting down. The issue comes only while using DBCA. I shall try minimizing the parameters and try again.

We are facing one typical problem, One background is failing regularly with
below dump. as we now got all notes giving information, if database restarted
taking backup, these type of failures occur, but our database is only down for backup once in a week, but it is failing with frequenly.
in this two servers are located in different place, in this job tries to connect
another server to get material statistics.

This is usually a SERVER SIDE DATABASE PROBLEM or SQLNET LISTENER (server side) PROBLEM. The client side should initially be ignored and instead the server should be investigated. In rare cases, this can be caused by client
side memory or other resource problem, or a DLL version mismatch, but this is
unlikely.
Enlist the assistance of your DBA. Then reproduce the ORA-3113 error on your
client application. Ask your DBA to look at the database side Alert.log and
trace files and look for ANY activity. Any activity that coincides with your
ORA-3113 will be a clue.

Performance Problem when executing the report for the first time.

We have a Zreport...to improve the performance i created Index on few Data Base table..before my changes it used to take more than 15 minutes after the changes it taking less than 1 min for the same variant and for other variants also.
But when executing the first in morning its taking the same time more than 15 min.Please let me know how to increase the performance when executing first time also,

created a right index.
Observation here...I executed the report in production system more than 5 times it took the
same time, my changes are still in quality..so i think may be for selecting the right index
its taking this much time.and for the next time is taking right index n doing it so it taking
less.
Do you accept it?.if so Please let me know how to explicitly say the select statement to
use my index.

Vi works in LabVIEW, but not when executed by TestStand.

Hi everybody. I'm using LabVIEW 8 with the Sound and Vibration
Toolkit, and TestStand2. I am planning on using TestStand to
execute a series of performance tests on an audio processing
board. When run independently, the vi (which I have attached
here) runs correctly, and returns a value for the parameter being
tested. In this case it is SNR.
However, when executed by TestStand, the vi seems to run correctly, but
returns a value of "NaN". This causes TestStand to fail the test.
Does anybody know what is going on here? I've checked FAQs and
help files, etc... Why would the vi work on its own but not in
TestStand?

Hi Ray, Thanks for the reply.
Basically, when I run the VI on its own, I see the SNR value appearing
both in the SNR indicator and in the Test Data Out cluster under
Numeric Measurement. The rest of the indicators are empty
(string, report text, status, code, source). My waveform graph
shows an FFT of the signal.
However, when running the exact same VI through TestStand, I get NaN as
the output. The FFT of the signal is NOT displayed in the
waveform graph... strange. No errors are received.
In order to make it easier to debug, I replaced all of the analysis functions
with functions included in LabVIEW 8. Now everybody should be
able to run it. I do a simple THD test this time around. With the VI running
on its own, I get a value of 1.8 as the THD and the Numeric Measurement of Test Data
Out. However, whenever running the test with TestStand, I get a
value of NaN.
Same problem.
Any suggestions?
By the way, what exactly do you mean by "wiring
up the Error cluster and feed in to the Error Out."? I'd
like to try it out, but I'm not sure exactly what you mean. I
already have the Error out cluster wired up, I think.

I have updated from Snow Leopard to Lion with Safari Version 5.0.5. Now I can not update to Safari 5.1. There is no update in the Software Updater, and on the apple-download page, I only found a Safari 5.1 for Snow Leopard. When executing it, there is an error message, that it is for 10.6 only.
It seems that I should have first updated Safari, and then only to Lion, which I didn't. Any idea how I can fix this now without having to rollback to Snow Leopard, update Safari and then go back to Lion?

Error when executing job from BW

Hi,
We have created a job that transfers a set of data to BW PSA.
When executing from data services designer or from the management console the job works fine.
When executing the job from BW administration workbench, the job is executed and does not report failures (we can consult the log in the management console).
But nothing arrives in the PSA, and on the workbench we get the following errors:

Runtime error when executing ME2B/ME3B if condition recs 160

Dear all,
I have created a vendor rebate agreement and entered condition records for a vendor/material combination.
Since for this vendor there are 170 materials for which he provides rebate I have created 170 condition records.
When I am trying to change or display the rebate agreement by executing transaction codes ME2B and ME3B respectively the following run time error occurs (Runtime error when executing transaction codes ME2B/ME3B for condition recrds >160):
Runtime Errors: DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL
Except. CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
The error is in function module SELECT_TEXT at line 120 "select * from stxh client specified into table stxh_buffer".
When I debug or test/execute the function module SELECT_TEXT, I find that there are no relevant entries in table STXH for the vendor rebate agreements.
Please note that if the condition records of the rebate agreement are 160 and less then there is no problem.
I would appreciate if I could have your expert oppinion on what is causing this runtime error and if it is possible on how to resolve it.

HTTP to File Scenario: execute Test Tool (html) but any received message?

I have configured the HTTP to File scenario in SAP XI 7.0. When i execute the Test Tool (HTTP_Client_Adapter.html), i don't see any message in the XI Server. I don't know the Test Tool which i used for the test work correctly, because when i clicked on 'Send' button, i don't get any message in the XI Server?
The Configuration Scenario is OK when executing the Configuration Test in ID.
Could you please tell me how i can know the Test Tool is execute correctly?

In XI You can go to RWB (from XI server homepage)->Comp Monitoring -> Display All ->Int Server-> Int Engine
In the bottom, you find 3 tabs, select the test message tab to post messages.
Pls note that, when you need to test, you should have created the scenario in IR/ID (and u can use the details of Receiver Determination ID) to fill in the details.
