SCOM Dynamic Group not Showing Health Watcher

I have the following code which shows a group of servers based on a registry key value. I am trying to add in the health watcher for heartbeat alerts. The computers show up in the group, but not the health watcher. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
It seems like that there is a sync issue/latency between the operational database and the data warehouse in your case. Groups should appear in the data warehouse within just a minute or two in most environments. Check errors and performance on
your management servers and sql servers.
Do you see any error or warning Events in the OperationsManager Windows Event log on one of the management servers which could be related to db issues?

Address Book Groups not showing up in iTunes

The groups that I have set up in Address Book are not showing up in the Info tab in iTunes when attempting to sync my iPhone. The iCal calendars show and sync with no problems. I have tried resetting sync history, logging off of my .Mac account and logging back in.
Any advise? Thanks.

Don't take what I have to say as fact, because I don't use a Mac and could be mistaken. I remember reading last night something about people taking and checking the box on the Summary page of iTunes to replace the info on the iPhone with the computer. Once that was done, it seemed to correct this issue and showed the address groups after that.
It might be worth the experiment, however I would make sure I had a backup of the phone before I tried it. I know it was only the last day or show that I read it, so if you want to search the forum before you try it, be my guest. I don't want to ruin anything for you, but I just remember reading that someone did that and it fixed it.

If all contact info is available online with your MM account - when checking your MM address book via webmail access using a browser, try turning Contacts off for over the air syncing with your MM account on your iPhone. This will erase all contact info on your iPhone. Follow this by turning Contacts back on for all contact info available online with your MM account to be re-downloaded to your iPhone's address book.
When you say you did a complete reset with your iPhone, does this mean you restored your iPhone with Tunes from your iPhone's backup?

Managed server not showing health status on AdminServer

Hello - we are running into a situation where, in the admin console some nodes do not show a Health status. Most of the other nodes show "OK".
Weblogic Version: 12c
OS : RedHat Enterprise 6.0
Drilling down to figure this out, we attach using WLST to the node itself, goto the serverRuntim() section to look at the status, we we see the following:

When connecting to other nodes on the same machine, we see lots of great information. This tells me that the node is unable to talk to the Admin server correctly. Yet, stopping and starting the node from the admin server works fine (and is out current way to resolve the issue).
Ideas on where to look for the underlying cause of this problem?
Or how to force the node to attempt to reconnect to the Admin server?

It could be if server came out of cluster due to issue with cluster and connection between admin server and managed server broke. At such stage even if server is healthy, it will not present in admin server or will be shown as failed.
To start with did you first checked if your server is UP and taking request. This you can achieve by doing any of the below,
1. PING test to managed server. It will show if there are any packet loss.
2. Check server access log to confirm if it is serving request in the runtime.
3. "telnet" to the ip:port pair and also check if process id is alive.
Also check server logs for cluster error. If server is healthy but not presented in admin console, then only restarting the server will re-create communication between admin server and managed server which will then display correct status on console. And if server itself is down, go for server restart.

Watched Video Podcasts Not Showing As Watched

Hi,
Video Podcasts that I've definitely watched from beginning to end on my iPod Touch are not showing up in iTunes as being watched. I know this for sure because I have a smart playlist in iTunes called "Unwatched Podcasts" which basically lists all the video podcasts that have a play count of 0. Why is my iPod Touch not incrementing the play count by one when I watch these podcasts?

Actually, they are. I don't know if it only works if you play the video podcasts with the iPod Touch docked, but if I let the video podcasts run all the way to the end, automatically returning me to the Videos menu, then yeah the play count goes up and when I sync those podcasts are removed from my Unwatched Podcasts playlist. Good stuff.

Dynamic Group not updating Workstations

Hello NG
In our environment i created a simple dynamic workstation group.
Unfortunatelly the group will not be updated with the machines that are in
the device list. Only if I touch the rule the machines are imported. I have
to change nothing! Only cklick apply and then the policies are associated to
this dynamic group.
Why this? What could be cause of this issue?

Dynamic Groups are normally updated once daily, during the overnight hours.

Public logon group not showing up

Hi everybody
I am trying to create a SAPGui entry for logon group access to customer ECC6.0 system.
I have configured the service and sapmsg.ini file.
I was told by customer sysadmin that PUBLIC logon group was created but in the list of logon groups I can only see SPACE.
Moreover, if I complete the procedure with SPACE logon group, when I try to login it won't succeed, warning that even the client number is wrong (?!).
My questions are:
- how to retrieve message server number and port (even though I am fairly certain that they are ok, otherwise the Logon group list wouldn't have been populated... right?)
- what might be the cause for the PUBLIC logon group not to show up

Hi,
Since you get such strange errors, it almost seems like you are trying to logon to the wrong server.
Please check sapmsg.ini again to see that the correct hostname/ip-address is entered.
Also, did you notice if the server name is correct at the logon screen ?
Every Dialog instance or Central Instance gets logon group SPACE by default. Then, when you create logon groups for the instance,
the group SPACE will disappear.
In some installations the central instance and the message server both uses the instance number of the central instance as a base to calculate the ports.
CentralInstance/DialogInstance = 3200, MsgServer=3600
but, on some installations (E g Windows Cluster) this could be different.
There you might have something like:
CentralInstance/DialogInstance = 3200 and the MsgServer=3601
You need to ask your sysadmin for message server port and host.

Dynamic List not showing from RTL alignment

Hi friends,
I have a dynamic hierarichal list, showing the employee and sub-ordinates.
I have to show this alignment from RTL and not from LTR and hence for that in the inline CSS section of the page I mentioned like
body{direction:rtl}But the list aint moving, since the remaining things appearing in RTL other than the list, Is im missing anything in the list alignment in order to show from RTL

Hello Mini,
What you are asking is not trivial at all, and using the CSS direction attribute will not help, per se.
As you are using a built-in region type, there is a lot of page orientation HTML code that is hard-coded, including JavaScript function parameters, which set to Left (e.g. dhtml_MenuOpen). Another problem is the hard-coded use of the arrow images (e.g. menu_open_right2.gif). These images are not influenced by the CSS direction attribute, and need to be replaced with images in a reverse direction.
To make a long story short – what you are asking can't be done out-of-the-box, or by minor changes to CSS files.

HI, previously i have created 1 account group i.e. (current asset& liabilities group) without any posting i devided that into two group i e current asset , current liabilities. but problem is its not showing separately on drilldown of account group of gl master record.

Pls. check that newly divided account groups' From and To account range. It should not overlap with the older one.
Also check in t-code FSP0 to see if 2 account groups appear.

Strava app not showing on watch or in watch app in iPhone.

I have the Strava fitness app installed on my iPhone. I cannot get it to the watch since it is not showing up in the list of apps on the Watch app on the iPhone.
Anyone have a work-around or is this happening to anyone else.

Yes, latest version of Srata is on the phone. I even deleted the app and re-added it. Still not showing up in the list of apps on the Watch App on the iPhone and not on the watch either.
Other things I have tried include cold booting the iPhone and the watch.
I guess I'll have to break down and install IOS 8.3 even though it breaks some tools I use on the Mac. Maybe this will also fix the inability to use my bluetooth headset to make calls on the watch.

Contact Groups not showing up on Iphone when syncing with Mobileme

My contacts show up in my address book on my Iphone but when I go to look at my groups the page is blank and I cannot get back to my contacts without closing and reopening contacts but still no groups. I want my groups to show up. I have at least 4 groups that show up on my me, and syncs fine with ipad....

I am having a similar issue. As is my wife. I also believe that it is a bug in the current iOS on the CDMA iPhone 4.
It is just as you described, and I have to close Contacts completely in order to restore my access to the contacts list. And, like you, our groups show up just fine on our iPads (within minutes of making changes, as we sync over MobileMe).
It doesn't appear to be a letter-case issue, as at least my login is in all lowercase letters.
I sure hope that this is fixed in an iOS update soon! It's rather problematic for those of use who use their iPhones for business purposes.

ADF Data Visualizations group not showing up in Component Palette

I apologize for my ignorance, but I cannot find how to solve this problem. I am trying to use the data visualization components such as graphs but my component palette does not show this. It does show ADF Faces, JSF, and some others, but not this. I tried adding more libraries to my project's properties, but it does not show up. I am using:
JDeveloper
Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.2.0
Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.2.0_GENERIC_091029.2229.5536
Any ideas?

Go into project properties -> JSP libraries and make sure you add the data visualization tag library.

Dynamic Images not showing on BOXIR3 with SP2 (Linux redhat installation)

Hi Guys,
We recently upgraded our BOXI R2 installation to BOXIR3 with SP2 (Linux redhat platform), and we noticed that all our reports icons/logos have just disappeared.
What we are trying to do is just to load an image in an OLE Object, the image is referenced by an URL (that is passed through as a parameter).
We built a very simple testReport.rpt with an OLE Object that has an image URL in it, still it doen't work.
Notes:
1 The CrystalReport 2008 where the simple test report is built shows the icon/iamge correctly. However.
2- CMC and InfoVIew do not show the image.
3- What I just noticed today is that when I go to CMC/folders/folderxyz//testReport.rpt double click go to Default Settings/Thumbnail the image is there (if I tick Show report thumbnail).
Any help would be very appreciated (I am just stack).
