Score match in oralce

Hello,
Is there any function in oracle with returns the top match for a word on the top based on % of the match?
e.g.
i searched for for word "mango"
the result should look like -
mango
a mango
b mango
abc mango abc
etc.
Thank you,
Paras

  • Reg : Match Score & No Match Score

    Hi ,
in the rule based match transformation we will give the match and no match scores in the options . If the Match score is 90% means if similarity score  is greater than or equal to 90 means we will get the duplicates in the our target.
if similarity score is less than 90 we will get as unique records in the target then what is the use of no match score.
for example  my match score is 90% and no match score is 70% then what about the value having similarity scores between 70 to 90  those records will show as unique records or duplicate records.
Please help me to understand this one.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ramana

    Hi Paul,
i tried with match transformation with match score 90% and non match score 70%. if similarity score falls between 70 to 90 % comes under unique records . as you told in the previous thread between records of match score and non match score will not be identified as duplicate records or unique records. but those records are coming as unique records only.  Please clarify me in this one
In the weighted score match score we are giving 100 and no match score -1. weighted score i am giving 90% it will give the 90% more scores.
Please help me know how to set no match score settings for weighted score also.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ramana

  • What's it like to edit with an RPI of, say, 5?

I've spent quite a bit of time going over the results on the PPBM site. I spent today digging a little more deeply into the RPI figures. Obviously, editing on a machine with an RPI of 1 will give you the best possible experience; the fewest freezes, the least lag, the fastest renders. And an RPI of, say, 20 will be much, much slower. But what if your machine clocks in at, say, 5? You're not at the bottom of the heap, but neither are you close to the top. Does this mean that you're suffering through constant crashes? Do you have to transcode your AVCHD to a different format before editing can even begin? Do you give up entirely on certain effects or limit yourself to just one or two layers? Does scrubbing through the timeline make the baby Jesus cry?
In your personal experience, how slow is too slow? As you slide down the RPI scale from 1 to 5, to 10, etc., at what point does the software become unusable?
Obviously, this is a subjective question, but that's okay, because I'm hoping for some subjective answers.

    Clay,
To give you some further insight in how to look at RPI and its merits, or lack thereof, one of the things I'm still struggling with is presenting the test results of the new PPBM6 benchmark in a new format, that makes it easier to interpret where areas of improvement may be with your specific system in comparison to other systems.
Sidebar: This proves to be major hurdle to take, since it requires dynamic SQL queries and calculations of the database and presenting the results in these kind of graphs in a LightBox pop-up window for the selected record.
This may not be the final presentation form, but it will show in an eye-glance what this system does in comparison to other systems.
Short explanation: Each bar shows the rank of this system on a specific test, compared to all other systems expressed as the percentage ranking. So, on Total Time this example ranks at 70%, with 30% scoring higher and 70% scoring lower. On RPI 25% score higher and 75% score lower.
If I look at these results, the overall for Total Time and RPI are quite good for the system in question, but what immediately catches my eye is the excellent Disk I/O results, they are very, very good @ 85%. Additionally, the MPE results are very good @ 81%, but both the MPEG2-DvD and H.264 results are somewhat disappointing with 55% and 64% respectively. So, the overall results are positively influenced by the great Disk I/O performance and to a lesser degree by the good MPE results.
If I were in the dark about this systems configuration, I would guess that this system has a dedicated raid controller with a large array causing this great Disk I/O performance and has a very good video card, but is held back on the other tests by other factors. The fact that H.264 is better than the MPEG2-DVD results shows me that this system is nicely tuned, no superfluous background processes running, is overclocked with a nice amount of memory and is better than a plain quad-core, probably a hexa-core or better, but the MPEG2-DVD results are held back because of the interaction between memory and VRAM, which may indicate an older generation CPU. Also, the degree of overclocking may be limited, increasing the latencies between memory and VRAM.
To go back to my earlier post, if you have to export to multiple formats each day, this is a fabulous result, because of the excellent Disk I/O results, if you have clients looking over your shoulder regularly your video card is great, but if you were to export long timelines from AVCHD to MPEG2-DVD, then you may consider upping memory or overclocking a bit more to make a difference.
Note that this is with the same RPI. Now if you compare different systems, you may find different points of improvement. See for example this presentation form:
Here you see essentially the same info, but presented in a different way.
I prefer this way with the speedometer over the first presentation form, but it is even more difficult to implement, since it entails six separate charts.
Two significant differences in comparison to the earlier chart are the Disk I/O performance, which is lacking in this system in comparison to similar systems and the good MPE performance, which shows a very good video card for this system - but not overall - and which helps the MPEG2-DVD score to achieve nice results. This system is more balanced than the previous example, since the scores match better even when the performance is much lower. Note that the first example showed 55% for the MPEG2-DVD test and this one 51%, but the first one showed a RPI score of 75%, while this system shows 40%. That simply means the first system is pretty weak and this system is very good at exporting to MPEG2-DVD. The second system probably has the better BFTB (Bang-for-the-buck) value of these two systems for exporting to MPEG2-DVD.
Again, I emphasize that RPI is a great way to see overall results compared to similar systems, but you have to delve deeper and investigate individual test results to draw conclusions to help improve your systems performance where it matters most for your workflow.
I hope this helps to explain the value - or lack thereof - of the RPI measurement.
PS. The new PPBM6 results table (you have to be registered and logged in to see these results) shows these kind of rankings in the overview, although not on a scale of 1 - 100%, but as absolute scores ranging from first to last observation.

  • 552 message size exceeded

    Hi,
We are having a problem with just one particular company sending attachments to us. Normal email with no attachments is coming in fine. email with attachments is not.
The sender (i.e at the other company) is getting the following message when they try to send to us :
"The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails, contact your system administrator. #5.0.0 smtp; 552 size limit exceeded"
The message attachment is small about 900K and we regularly receive stuff up to 20Mb. If the same attachment is sent from a different email system to us it comes straight in.
Has anyone got any advice ?
    cheers
    Chris

Check your host access table. This one company probably has a lower reputation score, matching a different rule in the HAT than the other companies.
If i'm not mistaken, the default maximum message size for the throttled policy is 1M. With the overhead you get when sending email attachments, this will probably block files of 900K.

  • Issue in getting score while executing the matching strategy

    Hi,
On executing the matching strategy, even if there is a duplicate count of zero in the record pane, some score is calculated. I want to know how does the system get that score even if there is no potential duplicate in the matches pane.
Also we are facing an issue - whenever the matching strategy is executed, some score is calculated which does not match with any one of the individual score in the match pane.
Can anyone guide me what might be the reason?
    Regards,
    Indraveer

    Hi Indraveer,
On executing the matching strategy, even if there is a duplicate count of zero in the record pane,
some score is calculated. I want to know how does the system get that score even if there is no
potential duplicate in the matches pane.
First i want to clarify how this score getting calculated.
In the record pane the three extra coloumn tell about the result about matching strategy
Count : this represent the no of record matches with the selected record based on the matching strategy executed
    Class : This defines
Score : this contains the sum of score of all rules that contain in strategy i.e. You know in rules tab we define the value for
    SUCCESS
    FALIURE
    UNDEFINED
So in  the score section it calcilates the score of each rules that you included in executed strategy.
    For Example
Your 1st rules contain values like
    SUCCESS :2
    FALIURE  :1
    UNDEFINED:0
Your 2nd rules contain values like
    SUCCESS :3
    FALIURE  :1
UNDEFINED:0 (this score if contain NULL values and data manger unable to execute the matching)
Now ypu included these two rules in strategy and define
    High threshhold : 5
    Low threshhold :4
    Now you execute the strategy
I will consider yr case that no one record matches .In this case  score section will contain value 2 because it fails in matching
any rules so it get  1 for rule1  and 1 from Rule2.
    Hope it clarifies yr doubt.
Also we are facing an issue - whenever the matching strategy is executed, some score is calculated which does not match with any one of the individual score in the match pane.
After Whatever i understand from yr statement, this will be the case when you have multiple rules  ans some record  succeed in all rules while some are succeed in one and fail in second rule.
    For example :
we have 3 record in table in which first one matches with both record for all rules where as second  record matches with some record for first rule and some for second rule  so their total score  calaculate accordingly
and third record matches with some reord  for second rule  and some record with first rule so their score will calculate automatical;ly.
so in this case when u select  first record  in record pane and  open match pane you will see other two record with different score as this score shows there personal score after executing matching strategies.
Hope this will help you to clarify yr doubt .
For further reading please check the data manager reference guide  on page 500.

  • Matching score for new records added to existing workflow

    Hi SDNers,
    My doubt is:
I have a 2 Workflows which are already in process. The triggering event for them is Manual, Record Import.
Now I manually assigned 20 records  to "Workflow A" based on Condition 1
Also, I manually assigned 20 records  to "Workflow B" based on Condition 2
I am importing 30 new records. Based on the condition, I want to assign these records to the existing Workflow A / Workflow B.
Note: There is a Match stencil, so the newly created records have to be matched against the existing records in the present Workflow itself.
Is it possible to add new records o existing workflow manually?
Also, what about the Matching score? will the records be matched?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Priti

    Hi Priti,
I tried restricting records using Named Searhes and Masks but it includes all the records with Match step property Records Vs All. You have to perform some maunal step either by selecting records using some search criteria or you can use Named Searches i.e.
    1. Create one field say New of type boolean and by default set it to NO.
    2. Create one named search for this field value to YES.
    3. Create one assignment which sets the value for this field to YES and add this assignment in the workflow as the first step.
    4. When ever you import records, assignment will set New=YES for all the records imported. Now, when you add more records, search the previous records using Restore Named Search function which will give the list of records imported now. You can perform Matching and Merging operation.
    5. Add one more assignment to the workflow as the last step which should set New=NO so that records should not appear next time for Matching

  • Matching quiz score doesn't work

    Hi,
I have created a matching quiz question, after doing the quiz. in the results section the score is always zero and also it displayed you didn't completely finish this question!

Do you perhaps use the Next button instead of the Submit button when confirming the answer? And please, tell which version you are using.

  • Returning Count of Matching Words Rather than Score

I'm using the SCORE function that will return a number representing the relevance of the matching search result; however, what the users really want is a COUNT of the number of search results returned within the document. For a search on the word "cat" this would return the number of times the word "cat" appears in the document. Ideally, if the user searched for "(dog and cat) within sentence", the COUNT would be of the number of times both dog and cat occur within sentences in the document; however, it would be acceptable to count the number of matching words in the document individually.
Does Oracle Text have any way to return this COUNT directly within the results Oracle Text query? I can use a CTX_DOC.MARKUP call to mark the document up and the count the instances of the markup strings, but that's going to be a lot slower than if Oracle supports this out-of-the-box on the original query syntax.

Yes (in 10g onwards), you need to use a query template with <score algorithm="COUNT"/>
    See here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/text/x/10g_tech_overview.html#qry_cscore
Though the example there is a bit confusing since it has algorithm="SCORE" - the option for normal scoring.

  • IMAQ Pattern Match Score

I am working on an application that uses the IMAQ Match Pattern VI.  The matches that are returned have a score assigned to them.  The help documentation for this reads:
Score ranks the match results on a scale of 0 to 1,000, where 0 equals no match and 1,000 equals a perfect match.
Likewise, there is a VI input called "Minimum Match Score", which is the smallest score a match can have to be considered valid. The data range for a match is between 0 and 1000.
Can anyone point me to a resource that might better explain how this score is derived or at least defined?

    Hi,
The NI Vision Concepts Manual provides ancillary information; I've linked that below. The In-Depth Discussion for both Pattern Matching and Geometric Matching may prove helpful in providing the detail you're wanting.

  • DQM for CRM --- Can the matching scores be customised?

    Hi All,
We've integrated DS 4.0 to our SAP CRM using the DQM for SAP component. As the title say, I was wondering if we can customise the match score of the data flow "Job_Realtime_DQ_SAP_Name_and_Address_Match" to use other inputs other than "name, street range, street name and Postcode" as stated in [note 1418387|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/sno/ui_entry/entry.htm?param=69765F6D6F64653D3030312669765F7361706E6F7465735F6E756D6265723D3134313833383726]?

    Hello,
If you change the match scores/percentages in the job for the DQM for SAP product, this will then be overwritten by the match score that is passed when the job is kicked off from the SAP CRM/ECC.  So the answer from Pandeyji will not work as expected for this product - in order to change the matching for DQM for SAP you would either need to change the threshold when you run the Batch Match (/fldq/rsadrini) report in the Threshold parameter on the report.  See more information on this in the 3.14.1.1 To run the Initial Match Code (Index) Setup program secion of the latest DQM for SAP user's guide.
If you want to change the threshold for the duplicate check (DES) interactive - you need to either set that when you activate the duplicate check index pools (this is depending on what system you are running CRM/ECC).  Check more about is in the 3.12 Activate duplicate check index pools secion of the latest User's Guide.  Or it needs to be set through the IMG settings as explained in the 4.9.1.1 Operating parameters used only by the CRM IC WebClient or CRM WebClient
configuration.  What you need to do here is absolutely dependent on the version of SAP application you are running as well as the version of the DQM For SAP product you are on (all these things I am pasting in here are from the DQM for SAP 4.0 guide - the latest version).
If you want to change the break keys that are created and in use for the DQM for SAP product, refer to the sections in the DQM for SAP user's guide on break keys and how they work in DQM for SAP:
    7.2 Break keys (match codes)......................................................................................................91
7.2.1 Understanding break keys (match codes) and data fields.......................................................92
7.2.2 To change the match code (break key)...................................................................................93
7.2.3 Configuring the break key settings.........................................................................................94
    7.2.4 Match on name data..............................................................................................................97
You also may want to check the section on Using the Break Key Profiler.
    Hope this helps!

  • Geometric matching: Difference between score and correlation score

    Hi All,
What is difference between score and correlation score in geometric matching???
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello,
the correlation score is based on pixel intensities where as the score of the geometric match considers also the geometry features. See the NI Vision Concepts (Geometric matching -> In-depth discussion).
    Hope this helps.

  • How can I make a fill-in-the-blank question with partial score?

I need to make an evaluation test with some questions. Some of them is a fill-in-the-blank question and it has to have partial score.
    I have:
    4 fields (text entry boxes) with: retain text, validate user input;
    also checked include in quiz, with points, add to total and report answers;
    an action that disables the 4 fields when the student is on review mode (otherwise it would be possible to change the answer after submitting the answers);
    Problems:
    I can't give feddback to the student: if i turn on success/failure captions the student will see them while answering, if i turn them off he wont know what's the right answer. I tried to use a shape to hide captions but the captions are always in front of the shape;
    When reviewing the test something happens and the second time we see the results slide it assumes that the fields in the FIB question are empty;
Notes: it will be used in Moodle, as a scorm package
    What can I do?

I have a test with some questions (multiple choice, FIB, matching, etc). I have just one button to submit all the answers, and after submiting the student can see his score and review the test to know where he failed. He can't answer again. However, he can change the answer multiple times before submiting.
"if i turn on success/failure captions the student will see them while answering" - before submitting
"if i turn them off he wont know what's the right answer" - after submitting
My results page is the default. I didn't use any variable. When i go to the results page after reviewing the test all the entry boxes are "wrong".

  • Is it possible to change the length of a note in the score editor?

I thought I saw somewhere that it was now possible to adjust the length of a note in the score editor graphically, i.e. by clicking on the note and somehow adjust its length directly to change it from 1/4 note to 1/8 (for example).
I don't want to do this by going over to the "Length" dialog on the left because I hate having to switch from thinking in terms of music notation and then having to think (temporarily) in MIDI ticks per beat, etc.
I must admit that I'm finding it extremely frustrating to simply enter music into Logic in a score....I thought this was supposed to be one of its strengths but it seems to be providing amazing capabilities at the expense of ease of use for beginners.

greetings dh... are you into Key Commands? There are two which will help you do the above in a trice:
    • Nudge Region/Event Length Right by SMPTE Frame
    • Nudge Region/Event Length Left by SMPTE Frame
I set mine to the simple letter o and n
    - I click on a note and press o repeatedly.. it grows and grows longer and longer
    – I click on a note and press n repeatedly.. it shrinks and shrinks shorter and shorter
    All by little increments
If you keep a Piano Roll window open while you do this, you can see the length do this exactly
man, it is VERY quick and handy for changing the length of notes
It really helps to have a view of the midi Piano Roll to cross check the exact length and position of the notes.
    Check out the Key Commands:
    • Set Next Higher division
    • Set Next lower division
These change the note value in the transport bar near the time signature. Your time signature may be 4/4 but the "grid" on which the notes are appear in the Piano Roll could be displayed in quarter, 8th or 16th notes. If you experiment with these commands, then you can match the note lengths easily to the grid display visually (with the above nudge length commands)
Also - you may like to experiment with the following 3 KEY Key Commands:
1 • Nudge Region/Event Position Right by Nudge Value
2 • Nudge Region/Event Position Left by Nudge Value
This will move your selected notes forward in time or back in time according to the
value that is set in the Transport bar - say it is 16ths .. then each press of the key will move the notes a 16th
or if the value is 8th notes, then each press of the key forward or backwards will move the selected notes forward or back by this amount
... amazingly useful when you are taking a whole phrase and pasting it somewhere else, or if say you started to write a phrase in the Score Editor and you started on the wrong beat.. then you just Nudge back and forth
3 • Set Nudge Value to Division
.. this will in a trice change change the Nudge Value to whatever Note division value is set in the Transport bar
HTH and forgive me if I have given you too much information
..problem is I spent too much time in the Transport Bar in Los Angeles last year drinking with the iSchwartz and other Logic reprobrates... you should join us some time

  • How do I change the midi staff style from piano (i.e. bass and treble clef) to a drum score?

Is there a way to change the staff style in Logic Pro 9 from piano to drums?
In the score window I have tried selecting layout then staff styles... then clicking the downward arrow next to piano and changing to drums (but there is no box to select apply changes), I then back out and it still displays and uses a piano score.
Also is there some sort of setting I can apply so that Logic acts with some Logic... i.e. if I'm using a drum audio instrument then the score editor automatically changes to a drum score, similarily with bass and bass clef?

If I understand you write, you are looking for remapping of the incoming MIDI messages.
So your MIDI Drum Kit is connected to your Mac and sends MIDI messages
    A few question:
What MIDI Note message is your drum kit sending when you hit the kick drum, or lets ask, what note "should" it send? Record a MIDI Region while playing your kick drum. Open the Piano Roll Editor and look up what MIDI note that is.
Can you change the assignment on your Drum Kit, i.e. set what MIDI note is send by each drum kit peice?
What MIDI Instrument are you using for the drums in GarageBand?
Do you know what MIDI note is assigned to the Snare sound (D1 ?)
A the end it is about matching the sending note (send from the kick drum) to the expected receiving note (assigned to the snare sound). Changin Cable wouldn't do anything. Either you have to change the receiving mapping (hard to do in GB), or change the sending not from the Kick Drum (should be possible).
    Hope that helps

    Try this
Name the dynamic text box in var not at Instance name
You will find it in properties panel .By selecting the dynamic text field you will have some properties like var, single line ....ect
    or
    Try this one
    this is your code : score_txt.text = score_int;
    try this :score_txt = score_txt+1;
where  score_txt is the instance name or the var name you are assigning to the dynamic text field where you will display the score.
Note: Change all of the dynamic text field name "score_int" in the script in to score_txt ,Because you have changed the dynamic text field to score_txt at the beginig of the script also you have score_int = 0.change heare also.
