How to put Mandatory option for selection screen fields in ABAP Queries

Hi Experts
Can anyone tell me how to put mandatory option for the selection screen fields in ABAP Queries.
Manually I had written code in the At Selection Screen option in infoset to display error message if that field is blank.
But I need to display the selection fields with the tick mark (obligatory mark).
How to do this?

sorry, but Web Dynpro ABAP does not support touch screen clients. This would mean new Unified Rendering features which are, however, not scheduled.

The screen came off off my ipod is it broken for good?

i dropped my ipod and the screen came completly off is there a way it can be fixed?

You can try making an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple Store, if you have them in your area, and asking if they'll exchange it for their out-of-warranty replacement fee, but in most cases when the iPod has broken into multiple pieces they won't. It won't hurt to ask, though. If indeed they won't, there are unauthorized repair shops that may be able to repair your iPod. Do a web search for "ipod repair" and you'll find a number of options. I haven't used any so I can't make any specific recommendations, but someone else here might know of a service they can recommend.

Preset for Screen Cam?

Hi -
I am trying to edit screen cam video captured at 1024 x 768. When I go to edit in Premiere Elements (I have an eval copy) , it gets a terrible flicker. I now understand that I need to edit in a similar format to the capture. It looks like all of the presets are targeted to video camera capture only. Is there any way I can change the format to edit for what I need?
I saw an earlier thread about editing the presets, but it looks like that doesn't work in 8?

I would anticipate that the 5 FPS is the reason for the poor playback.
Not sure what the best solution would be. Yes, PrPro allows one to use the Desktop Preset and then adjust the attributes to match non-standard footage, but it is a pretty robust program, and anything but inexpensive. There must be a better way to get this footage edited, and in either PrE, or in a similar NLE, even if conversion is required.
I'd like to invite you to post to the Muvipix Community (their fora), as many subscribers there do Video tutorials, and use various Video screen-cap programs and maybe SnagIt. Some of those subscribers post here, but many do not, and some of those might have some great, helpful hints for you. One such subscriber is Chuck Engles, who does quite a few Video tutorials. One can post/read as a Guest, but sign-up is free. There are also many excellent items of Functional Content, articles on how-to-do, and the Learning Series, by our very own Steve Grisetti.

No, as I already said, they will not. They will not repair or replace any Apple device that's even been opened by anyone else.
In this case, the morons who butchered your phone caused a lot more damage than the broken screen.
You should have taken it to Apple for service in the first place.

1) Use, this can be done, as you said in 1.4 there is Full Screen mode for windows.
2) There is no way to catch Alt-Tab. It would too dangerous to allow to catch it and prevent. All you can do is to react on it, I am sure you'll receive some focus event(DEACTIVATE, WINDOW_LOST_FOCUS, FOCUS_LOST) when user switches from your application by Alt-Tab
3) There is no way to prevent screen capture, it is system call, I am sure you can write some C application using hooks to catch and filter out key sequence for screen capture but not in Java.

First try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If still no luck, try downloading another free app from the App Store.

Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order

Adding to what sanasrinivas wrote above...user will have to login the again if your application opens in a GUI interface and from that GUI screen you are opening some report in Browser.
Remember that T-codes made for wda can execute both in GUI and Browser, If you execute them in Browser you wont have to login again and again but yes, if you execute 1 application in GUI and open some other t-code in browser , you will have to enter the login details again...so if you want to have hassle free execution you will have to open the reports in browser always.

N4S: Web Dynpro for ABAP layout editor not working

Have problem in Layout editor in Web Dynpro for ABAP
I have installed NW04S Testdrive on 64bit Linux and able to login.
SE80 is working alright.
Next I create a Web Dynpro Comp. / Intf. and create a component.
I double click on the View name "V_Default" . The Layout editor opens on the right side. Change into Edit Mode.
The "View Elements" panel on the left side of layout editor is missing. This is where we select the various elements like "Textview" etc.
Even the right click on the "ROOTUIELEMENTCONTAINER" to insert elements using context menu does not work.
In summary I am not able to add any element in WD4A Layout screen.
Is there any special plugin required to be installed?
How to solve this problem?

IPhone 5, Is there a way to stop screen rotation for specific apps?

The automatic screen rotation feature is useful - sometimes, and just plain annoying other times. I prefer to read my e-mail in portrait mode, however the slightest movement or rotation while doing so will cause the screen to rotate (with the phone generally still in portrait position). I then have to shake the phone to get it to rotate back. This is very annoying.
I would like to be able to lock the screen rotation for only a single app (e.g. mail) while still keeping it active for the camera, or videos. Many of the book programs that I use, have this feature built-in, however this question is for apps that do not have this built-in.
The built in rotation lock is all-or-nothing, and is generally a pain to use. It adds another step to just about everything I do (If I read mail, then want to view a video, I have to go back and unlock it).
Is there a way to lock the screen rotation for a specific app?

I would have expected this function to be available in settings where the application specific settings are located. (At least for the major applications like e-mail).
