Screen on small window

Hi All,
I an requirement when I execute an 'Z' transaction it need to appear in small window. I have created the screen as Normal screen and made size small , But it is not working. Please Suggest.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

I have the same question. This is also made more difficult as apple has taken away the handy full screen icon on the upper right hand corner.

Flashing screen, small window

This 17 inch iBook starts up with a small 9.2 window in the center of the screen. The window is "framed" by about 2 inches of green background that starts flashing colors and flickering. The text on the screen changes colors,too. The hardrive shows only a 9.2 OS, and disk utility claims that the harddrive is okay.
I have "PRAM"ed it.
Any ideas?

System 9 is so easy and reliable to use that it really is a case of copying the system folder over. In my opinion, MacOS9 is the best operating system built for any computer. One advantage it has over Mac OSX is that it makes no use of virtual memory whatsoever (it's an option which can but doesn't have to be used). Anyway, that's the subject of another debate I suppose.
But really, a bit of fiddling with the Display control panel in System 9 won't hurt (plus a cable to hook up to tv and/or external monitor). Sometimes Macs will forget that the tv/monitor is no longer there and will incorrectly show it as still connected in the control panel.
Now on Powerbooks it's always been possible to choose between an extended desktop or video mirroring - and on the so called 'consumer range' apple laptops only video mirroring is possible.
In the displays control panel the internal monitor is diplayed as LCD and the external monitor as VGA. The two are initially plonked on top of each other so I suspect most users will not be immediately aware that there are two settings to be made when they have monitors attached.
It's important to remember to set the LCD display resolution first. If you change the display resolution on your TV/VGA monitor from 800x600 pixels to 1280x768 pixels while your LCD is still set to 800x600 pixels, then the small window on the LCD effect will appear.
In my case, I have the TV hooked up but I still can't change the resolution. And I don't have the cable (yet - I'm in no rush to get it) to enable my VGA monitor to be attached.
btw, my iBook won't start up again - so it's status has now changed from 'dead' to 'unreliable'.

How do you get bookmarks selected to appear in the full screen rather than the small window to the left

When I click on a bookmarked site, some of them show up on the large screen to the right, but mostonly show up in the much smaller window to the left and are therefor useless. this is even when I've opened a new tab. I never had this problem before, but recently received a new computer and this is the result after downloading firefox in this computer.

Since upgrade to 3.6.7 the emoticons window on a forum I use always opens full screen, not as a small window. How can I get it to open as a small screen again.

Since upgrading to 3.6.7, when I go to a forum I'm active on and click the emoticons icon in the reply box, the emoticons window opens full screen, and not as a small screen like it did before. I can click on the box to make it small again, but next time I open it, it's back to full screen. Ok, not a major problem, but really rather annoying. I've tried to find a way to get it back to opening the way it did before, but to no avail. Does anyone know how I can solve this little problem?

No-one got any ideas on this then? It's definitely a firefox problem, as when I open the forum page (mentioned in the OP) with Opera or Chrome, the emoticons window opens as a small window, same as FF used to before the upgrade.

With Safari open, press Command , (comma) to open Safari Preferences then select the Extensions tab.
Turn that off, quit (or force quit) Safari then relaunch to test.

The problem is when you maximize the window -- it is even bigger than the area available? Or the problem is that normal windows are always too large and have to be resized manually?

Getting BHO from what looks like a program by eboom that shows up as a small window on RH bottom side. Also webpages being redirected automatically.

I get a small window on bottom RH side of my screen with "suggested sites" Usually the very site I am on. I right click on this window and it does not act alike a normal window, cannot close it or view its source. It does state that Eboom is providing suggestions.
Also something, i think this malware or BHO is trying to redirect my webpage. I have set up Firefox to not redirect. That helps a little. Also opening links in new tab seems to help.
I reviewed my add-ons and extensions and nothing unusual. I have tried to look for something in history and I have found very little. I have run multiple malware, spyware, adware, and virus Scans. Used Malwarebyte, SuperAntispyware, Norton, and Exterminator from PC Pitstop, all to no help. I have looked up this information and all I find is an issue with a toolbar on IE. I do not get a toolbar.

How to change background color in small windows?

MacBook Pro, OS 10.6.3, G5.
When I open an image to edit, the adjustable small windows, e.g., Navigator, size, opacty, all have a dark gray background that makes reading the number almost impossible. Surely I am doing something wrong but I'll be danged if I can figure out how to change that background. In fact, in the individual preferences also, e.g., Units & Rulers, the "adjustable" small windows (Column Size: width, gutter; New Document Preset Resolutions: print resolution, screen resolution) are also very dark.
I have used Elements for Windows for years and have just received Elements 8 for Mac and this is extremely frustrating. I appreciate your help and your patience as I try to sort this out and solved

I greatly appreciate the two responses above. However I think I may be out of luck. The first response doesn't seem to include the Mac operating system, which I am using, and the second may not have understood my problem - but I could not figure out how to follow the advice given using "preferences" to even try it. It appears to be a matter of terrible user-oriented design by Adobe. I have in fact started again using my earlier version on my old XP Windows machine, as my brand new version is essentially useless to me - I simply can't read the dark grey numbers on the dark grey "windows".

I tried everything, I read everything but nothing, this stupid but also awesome program starts in small window!
Its only work the first time(open only the program, without any file, make it full, then close it and then only the first time opens in full screen, after that it will keep opening in small window again).
