Script to export a list of notes from Evernote to a CSV file

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone knows of a script that would export a list of all the notes currently selected in Evernote (or alternatively all of the notes in a particular notebook) to a CSV file.
I am hoping that I could adapt such a script to my needs, which are as follows:
Generate a CSV file with 4 values per row (1 row per note), namely 'Date,Price,Item,Tag"
Each of my notes has a title in the format: "20110801 10.00 Note1" (i.e. date,price,item)
So the first three values in the CSV file would be constructed from the title of the note with the date converted from the form 20110801 to 01/08/2011.
The tag in the note would become the fourth value in the CSV file.
I'd be grateful for any help in writing such a script.
Thanks,
Nick

What is the version you are using?
Try this:
exp userid=scott/password@orcl parfile=parfile1.txt
and the contents of parfile1.txt would be:
BUFFER=10000
FILE=test.dmp
FULL=n
OWNER=scott
GRANTS=y
TABLES=SBEDIAUD,CE090001,CE091002,CE091004,CE091006,.........
But yes you should be using expdp by now.

  • Need to Download Smartform Data from OTF format to CSV file

    Hi,
      I need to download smartform data from OTF format to CSV file. Is there any Function module to download Smartform data from
      OTF format to CSV file.
    Regards,
    Selvapriya S.

    Not that I know of.  There is a lot of data in the OTF file besides the field values you are printing (formats, headers. positions, fonts, etc).
    You might be able to use the CONVERT_OTF function module and take the default format of 'ASCII'.  Once it is converted to an ASCII data format, you might be able to write some ABAP code to strip off the extraneous data and parse the fields you need.

    Is there a Powershell command to export a list of sub sites from a site collection into a .csv file?

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that export subsites to excel via PowerShell.
    There is an article about this topic, it will enumerate all the sub-sites and print them in a .csv file, you can refer to them.

    Hi,
    According to your description, my understanding is that  you want to update SharePoint field value from a CSV file recursively.
    We can import CSV file using the Import-CSV –path command, then update the field value in the foreach loop.
    Here is a code snippet for your reference:
    Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.SharePoint.PowerShell -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
    $csvVariable= Import-CSV -path "http://sp2010.contoso.com/finance/"
    # Destination site collection
    $WebURL = "http://sp2010.contoso.com/sites/Utility/"
    # Destination list name
    $listName = "Inventory"
    #Get the SPWeb object and save it to a variable
    $web = Get-SPWeb -identity $WebURL
    #Get the SPList object to retrieve the list
    $list = $web.Lists[$listName]
    #Get all items in this list and save them to a variable
    $items = $list.items
    #loop through csv file
    foreach($row in $csvVariable)
    #loop through SharePoint list
    foreach($item in $items)
    $item["ID #"]=$row."ID #"
    $item.Update()
    $web.Dispose()

    I urge you to look at AB2CSV
    Easily choose a group, all groups or all cards to export.
    Complete control over what is exported and what is the delimiter.
    And it's free.

  • Column heading is not coming while generating a .csv file from .sql file

    Hi all,
    Now since I am able to generate a .csv file by executing my .sql file, the column heading is missing in that. Please advise. I have used the following parameters in my query:
    set linesize 1000
    set colsep ','
    set echo off
    set feedback off
    set pagesize 0
    set trimspool on
    spool /path/file.csv

    set pagesize 0 <-- your problem
    you must set it into a high value (max value 50000)
    see:

  • Renaming files using a list of names in a txt or csv file

    Hello everyone,
    I'm trying to use AppleScript (although I'm a total noob to it) to rename the files in a folder (if possible using something like this - set folder to choose folder) to coincide to a list of names (in a txt or csv - can be any extension needed).
    To paint the picture clearer I'll have something like this
    Files_as_they_are
    Files_renamed
    01.mkv
    Valar Dohaeris.mkv
    02.mkv
    Mhysa.mkv
    Here is what I've tryed so far : (some point through the night I've tryed to repeat part of the process thus the "fcount" but the result was even worse)
    set theFolder to choose folder
    set ep to {"Valar Dohaeris", "Dark Wings, Dark Words"}
    set fcount to 1
    tell application "Finder"
      set name of file fcount of theFolder to item fcount of ep
    end tell
    set fcount to fcount + 1
    Tnx in advance...

    This will work with a comma separated text file,
    i.e.:
         Files as the are, Files Renamed
         01.mkv, Valar Dohaeris.mkv
         02.mkv, Mhysa.mkv
    Note that if the file to be renamed exists, it will be overwritten (A test can be added to skip if exists if needed)
    set theFoler to POSIX path of (choose folder with prompt "Choose folder with Files" default location path to desktop)
    set theFile to POSIX path of (choose file with prompt "Choose TXT file" default location path to desktop)
    do shell script "
    cd " & quoted form of theFoler & "
    while read line
    do
         OldImageName=${line%,*}
         NewImageName=${line#*,}

  • CodedUI : How to stop the TestMethod from iterating in a csv file?

    Hello All,
    I have a [TestMethod] which use a csv file. Now this csv file have some 20 rows in that. For one [TestMethod] I need to select one row from that csv, I am able to extract that row. No problem so far.
    Once my [TestMethod] finished execution with this particular row I need to stop that. It should not take the next row from csv and execute the [TestMethod] with new set of values.
    What should I do to stop the execution after that single iteration?
    Thanks a tonne in advance.
    Thanks and Regards, Sajeev.

    Hi Sajeev,
    You may not be surprised to hear that this question (or something similar) comes up a lot.
    There are a number of basic solutions out there using if statements or loops with only one iteration (this one for example:

    You can also ad named ranges to your CSV file and refer to these in your data source configuration instead of the sheet (this post has a lot of detail https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsdesktop/en-US/79c9f86a-a223-4ab6-84af-a7c4baed4951/taking-data-from-single-excel-sheet-for-multiple-test-methods?forum=vstest)
    The drawback of the first type of solution is that all of the "empty" executions for the other iterations will still have results recorded, which makes analysis more difficult. The drawbacks of the second solution are that it is more complicated
    to implement and takes as much work as just creating a new sheet with the single row added (which might be the best option).
    Regardless, I recommend giving both solutions a go if you have time, purely from the point of view of having your own opinion of them.
    Hope this helps,

  • Send Email with Contents of List Item (not from workflow)

    End users have requested the capability to email a single list item, with all its data (by which they mean the data they see in their view), to an address to be entered on the fly. In other words, they want an option in the ECB or ribbon where
    they would fill in a box with an email address (not necessarily a SharePoint user) and the contents of the selected list item would be sent out by the portals email, which is already configured.
    My searching has found similar solutions involving workflows, but nothing in the way of an 'on-demand' type of process. If this is something that needs to be developed, I am not afraid to jump in, but am hoping there might be something I can leverage already
    in place.
    I would appreciate any ideas on this.
    Echo Train Nashville TN

    Hi Echo Train,
    I would still look at using a Workflow for this. Easiest option to setup and maintain, and
    you can still enter an email (or multiple emails) on demand.
    For the List Workflow click on Initiation Parameters and add one with
    Field name of Email for example.
    Description (something like): "Please enter the email(s) you wish to send the list item information. Separate each email with a semi colon ;"
    Information type: Single line of text
    Default value: leave it blank
    Next add a Send an Email action with the following settings:
    To: Select from existing Users and Groups > Workflow Lookup for a User...
    > Data source: Workflow Variables and Parameters
    > Field from source: Parameter: Email
    > Return field as: As String
    Then setup your Subject and Body using the Fields from the Current List Item
    Save the Workflow then go back into the Workflow settings and ensure that: Allow this workflow to be manually started is the only option selected.
    Publish the workflow and your users should now be able to click on the Workflow with the ability to enter one or more emails.
    There are other options apart from using a Workflow such as setting up an Action with some ECMA script, but much more difficult to create and maintain, which in this instance I would still opt for the Workflow solution.

  • EBS Forms functional script runs fine in OpenScript but not from OTM

    Hi,
    I have an EBS forms functional test script which runs fine in OpenScript, but when scheduled from OTM, the web part runs fine but when it comes to forms, the script fails with the following error:
    Forms Object Not Found! XPath: //forms:window[(@name='NAVIGATOR')], Type: oracle.oats.scripting.modules.formsFT.helper.test.FormWindow, Cause: No Matches <Less>
    I have performed all the steps below already:
    1) Stopping the OATS Agent service and changing it to manual.
    2) Starting the command prompt and running the AgentManagerService command as mentioned in your forum.
    3) The console displays
    C:\>C:\OracleATS\agentmanager\bin\AgentManagerService.exe -c AgentManagerService
    .conf
    wrapper  | --> Wrapper Started as Console
    wrapper  | Launching a JVM...
    jvm 1    | Wrapper (Version 3.0.3)
    jvm 1    |
    4) I have added the test in the OTM with the following command line settings:
    -browser.type InternetExplorer -formsft.startup_timeout 30 -formsft.action_timeout 20 -formsft.response_timeout 10 -delayPercentage -1 -delayMin 0 -delayMax 5 -FormsAutomationEnabler.bat -enableForms true
    But each time the script fails, please note that my script has assets and they are placed within the script folder.
    Please help me on this at earliest.
    Thanks,
    Aarti

    Hello Aarti!
    I had the same problem and this steps help to solve the problem:
    You need to enable Forms Automation under agent. Please follow by below steps.
    1.open command prompt
    2.cd C:\OracleATS\agent
    3.FormsAutomationEnabler.bat -enableForms true
    4. Run script from OTM

  • How can I pull data from an attached excel/csv file?

    I currently manage some price lists for the company I work for. They are graphical, and usually created in inDesign and then exported to pdf.
    I'm looking for a way to attach our company's prices in an excel sheet, (or delimited file) and be able to pull a price into the pdf.
    For example, attaching an excel file with 2 columns, SKU & Price. Then saying, if text field SKU= "APPLE" text field PRICE = "0.50". Only I don't want the user to have any inpurt options, I want to do this myself and then save a flat version to distribute in the company.
    Any ideas on how this could be accomplished (if it even could be?) I've been searching for the past week.
    Thank you in advance.
    (I have Acrobat X Pro)

    First, let me start off by saying thank you again for your help. I sincerely appreciate it.
    I have placed the following code into the document-level section of the javascript editor:
    var oFile = this.getDataObjectContents("Price.xls");
    var strData = util.stringFromStream(oFile, "utf-8");
    function ParseData( strData ){
    var objCollection = {}
    strData.replace(
    new RegExp( "\\[(\\w+)=([^\\]]*)\\]", "gi" ),
    function( $0, $1, $2 ){
    objCollection[ $1 ] = $2;
    return( objCollection );
    // Custom Calculate script for price text field
    (function () {
        // Get the value of the SKU field
        var sku = getField("SKU").valueAsString;
        // Look up the price
        var price = objCollection[sku];
        // Set the value of this field to the price if it's present,
        // otherwise blank this field
        event.value = price || "";
    And I have created a field SKU, which I placed a valid SKU value into. I also created a blank field called event for the price to populate into, but I have a strong feeling that this was the wrong approach.
    At any rate, I've recieved the following error in the javascript debugger:
    ReferenceError: objCollection is not defined
    89:Document-Level:ADBE::FileAttachmentsCompatibility
    Any idea what I may be doing wrong?
    Thanks again.

  • Loading table from Access, Excel or CSV file

    Hi,
    I would like to know the mechanism of loading a table from an external source such as Access table, Excel sheet, text file containing comma/tab delimited values.
    Can you please indicate me the basic steps to prepare the extraction of the source data and next how to load this data into a target Oracle table?
    Thanks very much in advance.

    If you are using a windows based Oracle server you can locate your files on the server and set them up as external databases using Oracles Heterogeneous Services (HS)... e.g. with Excel workbook...
    1- Go to Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Data Sources (ODBC)>System DSN and create a data source with appropriate driver. Name it EXCL.
    2- In %ORACLE_HOME%\Network\Admin\Tnsnames.ora fie add entry:
    EXCL =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 10.12.0.24)(PORT = 1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SID = EXCL)
    (HS = OK)
    Here SID is the name of data source that you have just created.
    3- In %ORACLE_HOME%\Network\Admin\Listener.ora file add:
    (SID_DESC =
    (PROGRAM = hsodbc)
    (SID_NAME = <hs_sid>)
    (ORACLE_HOME = <oracle home>)
    under SID_LIST_LISTENER like:
    SID_LIST_LISTENER =
    (SID_LIST =
    (SID_DESC =
    (SID_NAME = PLSExtProc)
    (ORACLE_HOME = d:\ORA9DB)
    (PROGRAM = extproc)
    (SID_DESC =
    (GLOBAL_DBNAME = ORA9DB)
    (ORACLE_HOME = d:\ORA9DB)
    (SID_NAME = ORA9DB)
    (SID_DESC =
    (PROGRAM = hsodbc)
    (SID_NAME = EXCL)
    (ORACLE_HOME = D:\ora9db)
    Dont forget to reload the listener
    c:\> lsnrctl reload
    4- In %ORACLE_HOME%\hs\admin create init<HS_SID>.ora. For our sid EXCL we create file initexcl.ora.
    In this file set following two parameters:
    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = excl
    HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = 0
    5- Now connect to Oracle database and create database link with following command:
    SQL> CREATE DATABASE LINK excl
    2 USING 'excl'
    3 /
    Database link created.
    Now you can perform query against this database like you would for any remote database.
    SQL> SELECT table_name FROM all_tables@excl;
    TABLE_NAME
    DEPT
    EMP
    With MS Access you are already dealing with a database so the structure is not a problem. If you treat Excel workbooks as a database then they have to conform to a certain layout e.g. each worksheet is in effect a table with the name of the table taken from the worksheet name (be aware that Excel allows 32 characters for sheet names, but Oracle requires no more than 30), on each sheet the first row must contain the column names and all subsequent rows contain the data.

  • How do I export a LIST of "Media Duration" from Premiere CC?

    I have over 100 clips in Adobe Premiere. I can easily read their "Media Duration" within the project, but I have to log the media duration to an excel doc and typing out each file's individual media duration would be very timely since I have over 100 files. So I want to export a batch list that includes a "media duration" column. So I select all of my footage, and I press export -> Batch List. And it gives me some CSV files with NO "media duration" column in the document. It only gives me IN and OUT metadata in the CSV file. I want "media duration" metadata in the CSV Batch List. Final Cut Pro 6 and 7 had this feature, but I don't use FCP any more. How can I get Premiere to do this? It doesn't seem like a wild request. Is this something that Adobe Bridge or Adobe Prelude could do? (could they export a batch list with metadata of Media Durations?)  I've searched for the answer to this question maybe a year ago and never found an answer. PLEASE HELP!
    Adobe, please add this feature if it doesn't exist already. If it does exist, please tell me how to get Premiere to generate a list of Media Durations for me.

    Jerry this did not solve the problem for me. I have Media Duration listed in my metadata WITHIN Premiere. I exported the CSV file from Adobe Premiere, and opened it in Open Source. Open source prompted to me to choose some settings, so I made sure to choose Unicode and comma like you said. And the results did NOT give me media duration at all. The only metadata that showed up on my CSV file was IN and OUT points.... What am I doing wrong??? If you look carefully at the last screenshot I provided, columns A through D are the ONLY things that showed up. Those are In and Out points. I don't see media duration at all. PLEASE HELP!
