  • My phone is dropping calls, doesn't ring all the time-goes directly to voice mail, do no recieve alert on when a text is recieved

1-My phone does not ring all the time upon recieving an incoming call, it goes directly to voice mail.
2- Not recieving alert tone upon recieving a text message.
    3- Dropping calls also

We have the same problem widespread in our company with iPhone 4's and 5's:
    - Fails to establish the call, dials but nothing happens
    - Drops the call for no reason even though signal strength is good
    - Recevie text alerts to notify of voicemail when the handset has not rung nor does it show missed calls
We migrated someone to a Samsung Galaxy S4 for a month and all these issues went away. Nothing to do with alert tones turned down or faulty silent switches.

  • Alert when the load on the system exceeds threshold

    hi there!
I am trying to get alert when the load on the system
    exceeds certain threshold value.
Load is calculated as the function of
    CPU_utlisation,Memory_utlised,time monitored.
So i need to get the CPU_utlisation and memory utlisation
values first for calculating the load and then I check
with the threshold and then have to alert.
if any one have any idea ,please help me out,
    thanks,
    srinivas.

To get this kind of system information, you'll have to interface with your OS like executing an OS command using java.lang.Runtime, or using JNI. Java doesn't have anything for this in its standard libraries.
Note that your program won't be platform independent anymore when you use OS features.
    Cheers,

  • Numbers 3.5 (Incorrectly?) Activates Sheet When Processing Script

My earlier post was incorrectly marked as answered, so I have re-posted the original question along with a link to the first thread.
Updated Table Name Changes Applescript Operation in Numbers 3.5
I've been using Applescript in Numbers for some time to copy/paste data (set cell values) from one sheet table to another sheet table.
My original script was heavily cribbed from something Yvan Koenig had posted 2-3 years ago.
I recently updated to Yosemite and Numbers 3.5 after testing to ensure my original script remained functional (and it did).
I subsequently updated my source data table by duplicating my old table and editing this new source.
I then updated my Applescript to to reference the new source table.
Testing yielded a good functional result, but Numbers changed its behavior by displaying its work while setting values in the target sheet table.
This obviously slows the script down and adds measurable processing time given the amount of data being moved.
Does anyone know how I can prevent this behavior from occurring?
I don't believe I changed anything material in my original script so I'm really not sure why Numbers changed its behavior.
I have included my script below.  Thanks very much for any help!

    Hello
I don't use Numbers 3 and so this is a general advice. If the on-screen update is the cause of slowdown, you may simply hide the application. Like this.
tell application "System Events" to set process "Numbers"'s visible to false
    -- main code here
tell application "System Events" to set process "Numbers"'s visible to true
    Good luck,

  • How to make use of notify-send to get alerted when a chat-message arrives?

I would like to get notified, if a chat-message arrives. I tried two add-ons, both will play a sound, but not show a notification-window, as promised, so I'd like to do it myself, using `notify-send`. I suppose, that'll take to listen to a fitting event and execute notify-send, can someone please give me a hint, how to do that? Docs are rare.
Using Thunderbird 24.4.0 on Ubuntu 12.04
    TIA, ida

    Hi Matt and sfhowes,
I have tried several-addons with no success and suspect a problem with my Ubuntu, as they don't show any problem-reports of other users.
Writing a Thunderbird-add-on is a little bit challenging and not as well supported than writing a Firefox-Add-on. Also the used JS-func for alerting, when messages arrive, shows a lot of bug reports.
So I decided to go for a shell-script-solution now, listening to a fitting child-process and sent notificia. I will post it , when it's finished.
    Thanks for your replies

  • Why "slow server alert" when NO running requests and NO open connections??

The snapshot below says it all.  Why on earth would my dev machine with no running requests, and no open database connections, kick off a slow server alert?
I will tell you that at the exact same time this snapshot was generated, my other two servers WERE hung and were reporting "Unresponsive alerts", and they connect to the same databases.  I am chasing down a chronic communication failure between our database and web servers where everything with a databae connection gets locked/hung at the same time every night, 7 days a week.  The hang lasts anywhere from a few mins to 40+ mins.
Is this why my dev server would report slow?  And if so, is it the skimmers or what that's causing a slow server alert??  Would it only report "Unresponsive" if there were actual page requests hanging, vs. a "Slow Server Alert"?
This is CF10 (update 12) 64-bit on Windows 2008 R2, IIS 7, connecting to separate Oracle 11g server.
    Thanks for any insights.

  • Problem with Ant Script while deploying a BPEL Process

    Hi all,
Im making use of Ant script to Deploy a BPEL process ...the bpel process simply invokes the credit rating service and returns the credit rating..credit rating service and the whole BPEL
process are deployed in the default domain...now i made a new domain and making using of Ant scripts to deploy it to this Domain in the same local server ...i followed the steps
from this blog http://blogs.oracle.com/rammenon/2007/07/deploying_bpel_process_to_mult.html now my problem is even though i mention a different Domain Name in
ant- orabpel_dev.properties its always getting deployed to Default domain........can anyone Plzzz help me.
    Edited by: 0racler on Aug 15, 2009 12:09 PM

in build.properties of the project -
uncomment (remove the #) and change to the new domain
    # Change below if deploying in domain other than "default"
    #domain = default
when you run deployProcess target - you should see which domain is used - based on the above variable.

  • How to clear alert when a null value is returned for a metric column?

    Hey all,
Recently, I've encountered a problem about clearing alert when a null value is returned for a metric column. From Oracle official doc, it seems that NO_CLEAR_ON_NULL could be used for this propose. However, it doesn't.
Here is the line from doc, you can see when NO_CLEAR_ON_NULL is set as FALSE, the null value will clear alert, and the default value for NO_CLEAR_ON_NULL is FALSE.
NO_CLEAR_ON_NULL: This attribute is used to control severity clearing when a null value is returned for a metric column. It defaults to FALSE with the behavior that a null value ends up clearing previous alert severities. With a TRUE value for this attribute, null values will be skipped in severity evaluations without clearing the severity.
    TRUE | FALSE (default)
STATELESS_ALERTS: This attribute if set to TRUE indicates to EM that alerts on this
column will not have corresponding clears. This allows the UI to decide whether to
allow users to manually clear alerts on this column.
TRUE | FALSE (default)Here is my code for the metric,

WARNING. Do not confuse SQL*Plus with PL/SQL.
There is no variable command in PL/SQL. PL/SQL does support the boolean data type.
There is a variable command in SQL*Plus. It allows one to define bind variables. It is limited in the data types it supports. It does not support boolean as a bind variable type.
SQL*Plus is a CLI (Command Line Interface) client tool. It has a very limited vocabularly, allowing you to (primarily):
    a) configure its local environment (e.g. size of the terminal ito number of characters per lines)
    b) configure its bevahiour (e.g. spooling data to a file)
    c) defining substitution and bind variables
And that's it. It is not PL/SQL. It is not SQL. It takes the PL/SQL and SQL you enter, and submit that to the Oracle server. (it does some basic parsing of the data to substitute variables and bind variables where applicable)
Do not confuse this CLI client tool with the server side PL/SQL or SQL languages.

  • Alerts in process chain

    Hi,
While adding alerts (sending an email)  in case of process chain failure, what is the recipient type if it is an internal company emails?
Also, is it possible to send an alert if the process chain didn't run as scheduled?
    Edited by: P R on Jan 7, 2011 5:14 PM

    Hi ,
    1. You need to select the Recepient type as "Internet address".
    2. Yes, we can get the alerts when the Process chain did not trigger as scheduled. This could be done only when the Process chain step parameters are configured on BPM tool.
We need to maintain some thershold values, so that if that crosses the time limits we will get a mail alert that it was not run.
    Hope this helps.
    Thank you.

  • Alerts when emails are not going in Solman

    Hi All,
Can we generate email and sms when email is going out and not recieved back in solman system.
Alerting when email not working to solman or from solman, email and sms should be sent to a particular person.
red alert when email Is not going out of SOLMAN
red alert when email are not received bask into  SOLMAN
do we need to define any autoreaction method for it?
    Regards
    Tripti

    > we have external - internet means it goes to our outlook as well as our gmail also.
    > SMTP IS alredy configured.
Your mailserver is sometimes requesting authentication and sometimes not. The reason for that can't be found in the SAP system but in the mailserver since that is requesting the authentication.
"Webmail" is the application on top but that is not the system sending and receiving the mail.
The SAP system is out of scope here. I'd check the mail server logs why it is requesting authentication sometimes and sometimes not.

  • Errors in OLAP storage engine when processing application

    Hi
After changing a logic in the application, we processed the application but it did not complete successfully due to the following error:
Error message:: CreateOLAPCubeForApplication:CreateCube:Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The attribute key cannot be found when processing: Table: 'dbo_tblFactQuality', Column: 'QACCOUNT', Value: '%ACCOUNTS%'. The attribute is 'QAccount_ID1'.
When trying other applications they showed errors with reference to the measure group, e.g.:
Error message:: Errors in the metadata manager. No dimension relationships exist within the 'Ownership' measure group.
    Thanks for your help.
    Melanie

    Hi,
This kind of error will come when you have some invalid member defined in your fact table. you can use the following SQL query to check it.
select * from tblfact"yourapplication" where "dimension" not in (select id from mbr"dimension" where calc = 'N')
The same query needs to be run in wbtable and fac2 table.
These selection should return 0 records.
If it is returning something then you have to delete these records (replace "select * "with delete).
You can run this for all the applications and all the dimensions. However, I believe, you can check in your Quality application and the QACCOUNT dimension.
You can see for which dimension, there is an invalid member. This member might be getting created through one of your script logics.
    Hope this helps.

  • Maximum no of processes exceeded

I am using Oracle 8.1.6.3 database and OC4J as webcontainer.
I am getting following error on server side and I have clue why I am getting this.

Please help me out. I also noticed that my connection pooling is not working the way I expected. Once there is no one accessing application I thought that time I should have 3 connections but I dont have that no. some time I have 0 and some time I have anyother no.

Avi -- Some responses embedded below. Also, we do need to expand the documentation in this area. You can also
look at the JDBC documentation for the Oracle9i Database. It has a JDBC book and describes Oracle data sources in
    there. An OTN link is:
    http://otn.oracle.com/docs/products/oracle9i/doc_library/release2/java.920/a96654/connpoca.htm#1056354
    Jeff,
I may have missed something, but all I found in the documentation regarding
"Caching Schemes" was a single paragraph:
    http://otn.oracle.com/docs/products/ias/doc_library/90200doc_otn/web.902/a95879/ds.htm#1006044
I know that I can experiment with my "data-sources.xml" file, and I can
look at the relevant DTD, but I would really much prefer some more detailed
information. So yes, you could say I'm being lazy, but I would really
appreciate it if you answered the following questions:
    1. Can the "cacheScheme" property be used with any type of data source,
or only with the "com.evermind.sql.OrionCMTDataSource"?I usually only work with about the com.evermind.sql.OrionCMTDataSource. According to the docs it should be available
with any pure Oracle data soruces that implement the connection caching.
    2. What is the default value for "cacheScheme" (or isn't there one)? The default value in this case is DYNAMIC_SCHEME which will continue to try to get connections for you even when it
    exceeds the maximum connections specified.
    3. What are the differences between the various values (DYNAMIC_SCHEME,
FIXED_WAIT_SCHEME and FIXED_RETURN_NULL_SCHEME)?DYNAMIC_SCHEME -- Creates a new connection if you need one regardless of max connections.
FIXED_WAIT_SCHEME -- Will wait for a connection to become available.
FIXED_RETURN_NULL_SCHEME -- Will return null if a connection is not available.
    4. What other "properties" are there? The only properties I generally deal with are the caching schemes and the link properties for 2PC configuration. There
can be others based on your data source implemention.
    Thanks (in advance :-),
Avi. You're welcome. BTW, your not lazy, just time challenged like the rest of us.
    Thanks -- Jeff
