Scrolling a window

Is there a way to open a macro in design view and scroll the window to a desired percentage?
in VBA of course
Thanks
50% of programming is coding. The other 90% is debugging

Hi JonWayn,
>> Is there a way to open a macro in design view and scroll the window to a desired percentage?
What do mean by "scroll the window to a desired percentage"? Do you want to open a macro in design view? If so, I think you could try to select the macro object and send the key "CTRL +ENTER" to achieve, some key code like below:
Sub OpenMacroInDesignMode(sMacro As String)
DoCmd.SelectObject acMacro, sMacro, True
'-- CTRL+ENTER will open the macro in design view
SendKeys "^{ENTER}"
End Sub
You could turn to the link below for more information about SendKeys
# SendKeys Statement
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/gg278655.aspx
If you want to scroll the window to a desired percentage, I am afraid that it is not achievable, you need to scroll the window manually.
If I misunderstood you, please feel free to let me know.
Best Regards,
Edward

  • Snagit v10 build 788 - unable to capture input - scrolling active window

    Hello,
    I use Snagit v10 build 788.
    I cannot use the "Scroll Active Window" option on Firefox 4 Beta.
    It does not work.
    I get the Snagit message : "Unable to capture input".
    Using Internet Explorer or on an other PC the Firefox v3.6, the "Scroll Active Window" option of Snagit v10 is working.
    How to solve it ?
    Thanks
    Caius

    FIXED!
    Guys, you will not believe how easy this is to fix! After hours of frustration I finally discovered a Firefox add-on called '''Screengrab'''. Install Screengrab, then right click in Firefox, choose Save, Complete Page - and you get a perfect scrolled page capture!
    Even better, you can open it in Snagit to work on it further (Screengrab saves it as a png)

  • Problem with Java scrolling text window on Mac OS

    The Java scrolling text window created by AWT "TextArea" scrolls in the normal way from the top on Windows, whereas it scrolls from the bottom on the Mac OS. That is, the text file is first displayed from the bottom on Mac, so that the user has to scroll to the top of the file each time a new page is opened, which is a very nuisance. Have you run into this problem and do you know how to over-ride the Mac OS default? Many thanks.

    TextAreas suck in general, this has been discussed many time in the forum. As a duct-tape fix, you might play around with setCaretPosition() after inserting your new text. Good luck

  • Samsung p2270 scrolling and window lag

    I have a new 2.8ghz xenon Mac Pro with 6 GB of ram. It's attached to a Samsung P2770HD monitor via a DVI cable.
    When I scroll a window in Safari, or drag any window, or even when a new window is opening, it is extremely laggy and redraws the window very slowly. I've tried adjusting all of the monitor settings with no success. I have no options to change in the monitor prefs.
    Any advice??

    I'm using the same monitor on a macpro with the ATI HD 5770 card. I don't have a problem with moving windows but when I set my resolution to 1920x1080 the image goes off the screen. I can't see any of my icons on the far right or left. Do you have that issue?

  • Audio breakup when I scroll a window...

    I was listening to some MPEG3 music on my hard drive with Window Media Player 9 whilst browsing the internet when I noticed the sound distorting whenever I used the keyboard cursor keys to scroll down the page. It doesn't happen if I use the mouse scroll wheel or the mouse to drag the bar down!
    I'm using the mainboard's onboard sound via the latest Realtek AC'97 audio codecs as they are better than the ones that came with the nVIDIA nForce driver pack.
    Can anyone please tell me why the sound breaks up when using the keyboard?

    I've just read in PC Gaming Hardware World magazine that the nVIDIA IDE drivers included in their nForce2 driver pack are a bit buggy i.e. not very good and that you should replace it with the Standard IDE driver included with Windows XP so I'm going to see if that resolves the problem. It apparently affects the ability to burn CDs and DVDs too which I've had a few problems with especially with verifying the data.
    Thanks for your help!
    The weird thing about the sound bug is that if you have the Task Manager open and then scroll the window using the keys the sound plays fine!!! Talk about bizarre...

  • Scrolling and windows resizing

    Is there a way to turn off the feature where if you scroll up or down with your mouse positioned over a windows title bar it resizes the window. This "feature" works with both a standard mouse using a scrollwheel and also when using a touchpad with two finger scrolling.

    The only third party program that I use which modifies the mouse is Sizeup and I have rigorously gone through its setting to determine if it was causing this behaviour. Also the behavior persists even when I shut down sizeup so I don't think it is the cause.
    edit:
    I would also add that this behaviour only appeared after I upgraded to 10.8. While I do have a lot of third party programs running and alot of them were updated when mountain lion was released so it is theoretically possible that this is behaviour is comeing from an external source I have no idea why any of the other programs I have running would affect window resizing.

  • Magic Mouse will not scroll in Windows 7 boot camp, but works fine in Mac OS

    I have a Magic Mouse that was working fine it would scroll and everything, then one day it just randomly stopped working in my Windows 7 bootcamp partiontion. I went to the Mac OS to see if there was anything wrong with the mouse, but it works fine in the Mac OS. I already made sure to install all available software updates but that doesnt seem to have helped. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

    My wireless mouse is not recognized by Bootcamp bluetooth.
    Have you been able to solve your mouse issue?

  • Mac Pro - Scrolling/moving windows Really Jerky and delayed....

    Not sure what's happeneing here... This is a brand New Machine, with ProTools 8 Installed as the only major program. There are ProTools Cards (HD2) and a BalckMagic Decklink HD Pro.
    When ever I open a new windown In Finder, Safari, or any other program, the scrolling function is extremely jerky, delayed, and unusable. Moving a window around on the desktop is the same. Otherwise, computer seems fine. ANy ideas onhow to deal with this? This simply can't be right. Myn Other Mac Pro (2008) works just fine.
    Thanks,
    Todd A.

    Are there updates for BlackMagic or ProTools to be more compatible?
    When did you last run Disk Warrior?
    Any problem installing and updating software or drivers?
    Can you do a clean install or have a backup copy and try?
    Last and least desireable, try with just basic hardware and system.
    Your 2009 has a later build of OS X that still isn't out publicly. It should and could be used on your old Mac Pro and you could test it there. But your system from the 2008, that won't run properly at all on this system.

  • Is it possible to disable the magic mouse scrolling in windows 7?

    I've partitioned my hard drive with bootcamp to run windows 7 for a handful of games that aren't mac friendly. The problem is that once I installed the drivers to use the magic mouse, the scroll keeps jumping around at inconvenient times while I'm playing which makes it pretty difficult. How can I turn the scrolling off? I like having the scroll on the trackpad, but I only want the left and right click on the mouse.

    I use MagicMouse on iMac with Windows 7 running (installed through BootCamp). Got sick of annoying horizontal scrolling. The solution described above has helped me to disable it. Here is what I've done in steps:
    1) go to http://www.autohotkey.com/ and download an app (a script editor).
    2) Install and run the program - please note that it will not open as it runs in the background
    3) Rightclick on the desktop -> choose "New" -> "AutoHotkey Script" (a new script file will be created on the desktop) -> name it as you wish (e.g. "Mouse_HScroll")
    4) Rightclick on the file you've just created and choose "Edit Script" from the menu.
    5) Add these three lines below existing text in the file:
    WheelLeft::return
    WheelRight::return
    #MaxHotkeysPerInterval 5000
    6) Save file
    7) Run "Convert .ahk to .exe" program from the package installed earlier and browse the file you've just created, hit ">Convert<" -> .exe file should be created. Run this file -> the scrolling should be disabled now.
    7) You may wish to move this file to Start/"Autorun" folder, so it would be launched automatically each time you reboot your Mac/PC.
    Hope this helps! Good Luck

  • Scrolling log window guff

    Hi,
    I've got an app that executes external processes, monitors the output of each, and puts it in a log window. The problem is, when I append to the contents of the JTextArea, I don't know how to set its preferred size correctly so that the JScrollPane knows how large the TextArea is. I tried using (textArea.getLineCount() * line height), but that doesn't work because word wrap creates more lines than getLineCount() reports -- instead of setting the JTextArea to the proper size, it's always too big or too small (depending on how many lines were wrapped). Here's my code:
    //check and update all the log windows.
    for(int i=0; i < logWindowUpdater.size(); i++)
         javax.swing.JFrame window = (javax.swing.JFrame)(logWindowUpdater.get(i));
         javax.swing.JScrollPane scroll = (javax.swing.JScrollPane)window.getContentPane().getComponent(0);
         javax.swing.JLabel bgImage = (javax.swing.JLabel)window.getContentPane().getComponent(1);
         javax.swing.JTextArea textArea = (javax.swing.JTextArea)scroll.getViewport().getView();
         java.lang.Process process = (java.lang.Process)buildProcessesVector.get(i);
         try
              String processOutput = new java.lang.String();
              while(process.getInputStream().available() > 0)
                   char readByte = (char)process.getInputStream().read();
                   processOutput += readByte;
              textArea.append(processOutput);
              //because of word wrap, this doesn't work correctly!
              textArea.setPreferredSize(new java.awt.Dimension(560, textArea.getLineCount()*25));
              scroll.getVerticalScrollBar.setValue(scroll.getVerticalScrollBar.getMaximum());
         catch(java.lang.Exception e)
              e.printStackTrace();
    Surely there's a way to do this. It's just a simple, autoscrolling log window. Does anyone have suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Jake

    The problem is that I can't properly set the size (or number of rows and columns) of the JTextArea. You see, it is dynamically updated with the output from a running process, which has some unknown number of lines. I can't set the size or rows/columns without knowing how many "lines" are in the process output, and I can't figure that out because word wrap creates some number of additional rows.
    Here's how I create the log window and add the JTextArea:
    private void createLogWindow(String title, java.lang.Process process)
         javax.swing.JFrame logWindow = new javax.swing.JFrame();
         logWindow.setSize(600, 400);
         javax.swing.JScrollPane logScroller = new javax.swing.JScrollPane();
         javax.swing.JTextArea textArea = new javax.swing.JTextArea();
         javax.swing.JLabel bgImage = new javax.swing.JLabel();
         logWindow.setTitle(title);
         textArea.setFont(new java.awt.Font("Monospaced", 0, 12));
         textArea.setLineWrap(true);
         textArea.setOpaque(false);
         textArea.setPreferredSize(new java.awt.Dimension(560, 300));
         logScroller.setViewportView(textArea);
         logScroller.setPreferredSize(new java.awt.Dimension(560,300));
         logWindow.getContentPane().add(logScroller);
         logWindow.setVisible(true);
         //add this log window to the vectors so it can be tracked and updated
         logWindowupdater.add(logWindow);
         buildProcessVector.add(process);
    }Does that make more sense?
    Jake

  • Scrolling the window

    Hi,
    I have Web dynpro page with ALV table and I would like to delete the scrolling of the browser window that appears default when the table is bigger then the screen. Later the scroll will have to be only inside the table. Is it possible to delete the scroll bars from the window? Thanks in advance for your help.
    Best regards,
    Anna

    Hi Anna,
      I am giving the code to set the Visible rows, so that your requirment is fulfill.
    Here i am setting 15 as visible rows. So that it display always 15 rows instead of displaying all at once. if you have less than 15 then it displays some empty lines also. if you have more than that then you will get scroll bar to the Table not for the browser.
    I think this will solve your problem.
    <b>Code:</b>
    <i><b>*... init TableSettings</b></i>
    data:  lr_table_settings type ref to if_salv_wd_table_settings.
      lr_table_settings ?= wd_this->r_table.
      lr_table_settings->set_visible_row_count( '15' ).
    Warm Regards,
    Vijay

  • In Events, want to scroll through window-sized images...

    Searched a bit on this, and haven't found a "yes" but thought I would check to see the current thinking.
    What I was hoping to do, was utilize the Apple mouse scroll button to easily view all the photos in an event, when they were clicked on to become window-sized. I know I can use the forward and back arrow keys to wander through the set, but the mouse is much more handy (and, I'm afraid, what I was used to with PSE and a scroll-wheel mouse on the PC.) It does let me use the scroll for the thumbnail view, and I'm just hoping I'm missing a setting to allow me to scroll the full-size pictures, too?
    This is a useful tool for flipping back and forth when comparing two very similar pics, when trying to select the better one, for example.
    Thanks again in advance for all help.

    Unbelievable! 100s pf apps and not even sorted alphabetically, you just have to have free time to hunt because sony developers didnt have the time to code a simple search feature! I wish i knew this before i bought the tv I would definitely go for another brand!

  • Help finding Mac screensaver with scrolling text (Windows Marquee-esque)

    I have been searching the internet somewhat intensely for a scrolling text screensaver for my Macbook. I found an Apple download called "message", but that is wayyy too fancy for me. I can barely even see the text with all of the crazy fonts and weird zooming. The emphasis is not on the text for that screensaver.
    Something like the Windows Marquee would be fine, though I am sure somewhere out there is a tricked-out version for Mac. I would just want to be able to read the text clearly, as I intend to use the screensaver to help me to memorize some text.
    Maybe I am overlooking an obvious screensaver already loaded on the Macbook, but I am surprised that Tiger does not come with such a screensaver. Any suggestions and links? Thank you

    I think you should be able to find something that works for you using Quartz Composer. As an example, here is a link to someone else that was working on horizontal scrolling text. I don't know if their project got completed (or if it's currently included in Quartz Composer) but the .qtz file on this page will load in QuickTime so you can see the results as of this posting.
    http://www.mulle-kybernetik.com/weblog/2005/05/towardshorizontal_scrollingi.html
    You get Quartz Composer by downloading the Xcode tools. I'm looking through the example libraries now to see if there's something you could use in the current examples.

  • Trackpoint scrolling in Windows 8

    On Windows 7 I use the trackpoint middle click by setting the scrolling to auto-scrolling. The generic driver that I had for Synaptics allowed this too, but the Ultranav driver on the Lenovo support site gets rid of this. Will it be put back?

  • Magic Mouse doesn't scroll on Windows 7

    Hi
    Today i setted up my Boot Camp partition with Windows 7 (64-bit, professional). After I installed all the drivers for Boot Camp, my Magic Mouse still coudn't scroll if i make swipes/wishes. I don't know what's wrong with it.
    Any suggestions/ideas?
    PS: Yes, I set it up as HID Mouse in the Device Manager.

    Similar problem here on my MBP 2011. I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit using bootcamp assistant and exactly following the step-by-step bootcamp setup documentation. Everything went smoothly except for the Magic Mouse. At first, the mouse refused to work at all after installing the latest version of Windows Support Software from Apple, even though it was already showing and recognized as "working properly" in the device manager. My 1st resolve, based on another thread on this forum, was to remove/uninstall the mouse in both Windows and Mac in that exact order, then boot back into windows and re-add the magic mouse, which seemed to be working fine after that (including the scrolling, in both Windows and Mac OS). But then Windows prompted for a bunch of updates and after a few restarts, the Mouse scrolling function stopped working (can still track though) and running Bootcamp repair in Windows didn't help either.
    is this mouse really that Magical?
