Scrubber bar displays only fraction of total time

So, I recently decided to add some Ricky Gervais radio recordings to my iPhone's library as podcasts. I downloaded these around 4-5 years ago and at the time used my zune (I know, I know -.-) to play them. So I after I sync them to my iPhone and try to play them, I notice that the scrubbing bar on top is displaying a ridiculously short total time for the podcast. I sort of shrugged it off because I was at work and couldn't do much about it at the time. Now mind you, these recordings last anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour. The time displayed ranges from 2-4 minutes. This wouldn't really be an issue, but it does not allow me to pause or rewind after it reaches the shorter time displayed. The podcast will continue playing if left alone, but once you hit pause or try to fast forward or rewind it will revert back to the end of the 2-4 minutes. This gets to be a pain because then I have to fast forward through the use of the playback speed button in order to reach the place I was at. These files are all .mp3s. I did add them manually to my iTunes library and then change their media type to podcast. The podcasts display regular time when playing on my desktop's iTunes. I recently noticed that the correct time displays for a fraction of a second when I begin to play one, but then switches itself to the shorter time (using the scrubbing bar during the time that it flashes the correct time does nothing as it just starts playing at the end of the shorter time displayed). I'm pretty sure this problem is something I have done on my end, but I'm not sure what that might be. I'm willing to try anything out just to fix this issue.

Yep. That did it. I had iTunes create an apple lossless version of one podcast just to test it out and when I synced it the scrubber bar displayed the correct total time for the lossless version. I'll have to make a day of fixing up my old podcasts in batches. Thanks for the help though, this was driving me batty!

For the amount field / quantity field in the field catalog give DO_SUM = 'X' for WHOLE total
For SUBTOTAL
For subtotal you will have to create an internal table sort..Let's say you want to do subtotal for each customer..

ls_sort type slis_sortinfo_alv.
CLEAR ls_sort.
ls_sort-spos = 1.
ls_sort-fieldname = 'Give the field name that you do the sum'.

Aperture 3.4 Contents of the trash no longer displayed only number of total images showed

The road to 3.4 was a bumpy ride, in the end had to kill and start clean by rebuilding my library from vault.
So far so good however, "trash" stops to behave like it used to.
Its contents were no longer displayed individually and only the total number of images were showed when you mouse over it.
Personally I felt very uncomfortable to empty the trash because now there is no way for me to get a confirmation.
Any information regarding this matter is very much appreciated, Thank you.

I have tried all manner of repair permissions, repair, rebuild, and even a reinstall of Aperture itself.
Is Aperture working in your user account at all? Can you create a new Aperture library for testing, import a few images, and do these show in the browser?
To create a new library, hold down the alt/options key when launching Aperture and select "other/new".
If not even a new library is working, try to trash your Aperture preferences "com.apple.Aperture.plist", if you do not already have done so:
Remove the Aperture's user preferences from the User Library as described here:

And for good measure also the mirrored files in the sandbox: ~Library/Containers/com.apple.Aperture/Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.Aperture/, log off and on again.
Note:Your User Library is hidden by default in 10.7.x or later - to open it in a Finder window use the "Go" menu from the Finder's main menu bar.
Quit Aperture, if it is running. Log off and on again (don't skip this step!).
Open the user library by using the Finder's "Go > Go to Folder" menu and hold down the options-key, until "Library" appears in the drop down menu. Select it.
In the widow that will open, scroll down to "Preferences"
From the "Preferences" folder remove "com.apple.Aperture.plist".
Then try to launch Aperture again.
But deleting the "Preferences" file will cause Aperture to forget the preferences settings. Be prepared to have to reset all options you set using the Aperture Preferences panel.
But if a new library works, post back. Then we'll have to fix your current Aperture library.

Audio Queue Services Elapsed and Total Time

Does anyone know how to get the elapsed and total time of a file being played using Audio Queue Services? I am using a .caf file and it plays without a problem but I can't seem to figure out how to display the elapsed and total time of the audio file.
On a side note, I'd like to hook up a scrubber (like the one in the voicemail section of the Phone app). Does anyone have any idea how to set the playback position of an audio file?

Does your code works after performing fast forward/rewind?
I got an awful result.
After I performing ffw or rwd, the mSampleTime is not the exact time which had been played, it always returns the total played time.
For example, I clicked the ffw button when playing at 10secs, and mean to jump to 20secs, the AudioQueue did jumped to the 20secs, but the mSampleTime still remains to 11, 12, 13secs....
Did you got a similar problem? If so, how did you resolve it?

Multiple selection in DISPLAY only ALV GRID

I would like to make the rows of the ALV Grid Display only at the same time I would like to make multiple selection possible.
Multiple selection is possible by giving EDIT = 'X' at the layout level. But then if we give EDIT = ' ' at the fieldcatalogue level or no_input = 'X' at the layout level it is still in Editable mode. Kindly help me.

Setting and getting selected rows (Columns) and read line contents
You can read which rows of the grid that has been selected, and dynamic select rows of the grid using methods get_selected_rows and set_selected_rows. There are similar methods for columns.
Note that the grid table always has the rows in the same sequence as displayed in the grid, thus you can use the index of the selected row(s) to read the information in the rows from the table. In the examples below the grid table is named gi_sflight.

How to control the authorization as display only in ECC system?

I want to control the IT users' authorization as display only for each Authorization Object.
As i know, there are 177 Item of field "ACTVT" in ECC system, But i'm not ture which the value can limited the authoirzation as display only.
Im worry about IT users have not authorization for the work if just keep "03-display" in authorization object, I plan to remove below value of ACTVT:
01-create, 02-change, 05-Lock,06-Delete,07-Activate, generate
But i'm not sure whether should be removed for below values:
52-Change application start
60-Import
61-Export
62-Create automatic Ledger
63-Activate
64-Generate
70-Administer
75-Remove
C3-Maintenance of manual auth.
C4-Develope Payment Card
FP-Change customer field selectn

Yep, I agree with Jurjen. It is not only limited to ACTVT, but rather fields of other objects as well which are "action" or "activity" related.
I would start the other way around - give them '03' only and investigate any transaction specific claims that it is not enough. There will be a few...

Did you check the Zoom setting?
Have you tried a reset (reboot)? Hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears.
If it isn't Zoom and a reboot doesn't help try Settings/General/Reset - Reset all settings

Ssrs 2008 r2 display only final total amount

In an existing ssrs 2008 r2 report, I want the final grand total to appear as the last amount displayed in the SSRS report.
In the 'main' matrix of the report, I have created an outside group row below the last line of the matrix.
The expresion for this statement looks the the following:
="Grand Total: $"+str(sum(cdec(Fields!TransactionAmount.Value),"datasetname")).
The total amount is correct, but this total amount line appears after every control break. Basically the amount appears every
time the control break changes by date, teacher, or student number.
The extra row I added does contain grouping references to date, teacher, and student number. Thus to solve my problem:
1. Can you tell me how to remove the grouping references to date, teacher, and student number so that the last row will be the only place the total amount will be displayed?
2. If the above is not an option, can you tell me how to add an extra row to the 'main' matrix so the report groupings do not appear on the final total line?
3. If the above 2 choices are not an option, would you tell me how to add the final total line in the final report footer and/or any place you believe the final total amount will appear only one time?

According to your description, you want to add a row into your matrix to get the total value of TransactionAmount. This can be final total value which appears only one time in your matrix. Right?
In this scenario, the reason why the total amount line appears after each break change (data, teacher..) because this total amount line is still within the parent group. I guess you didn't add the outside group row on the top parent group. So we just need
to right click on the textbox which is top parent group, insert a row outside of group. Then put your expression into the added row. Now the total amount will appear only one time in the matrix. It looks like below:

Actually I have this requirement for MAC OS 10.5. With the code you provided, I got the output as "6289375". When I changed the URL to point to my file (file:///Users/VPKVL/Desktop/MyRecord/tempAudio.wav), I am getting the below mentioned Exception:

How do I change the new iTunes play list total time display from 1.5 hours format to exact display of 1hr 31min 12sec.

In the new iTunes the play list total time displays in 1.5 hours format, how do I get it to clearly show 1hr 31min 12sec like before, I want the exact time so I can properly fit all the songs when I want to burn this playlist to a disc. You can no longer just click on it to change the display format. Nor can you right click, control click, or change it in options. If anyone knows I would very much appreciate your imput. Thank You.

Actually, that's the problem ... in iTunes *11* it has stopped working. I have the status bar displayed, and it is stuck on the 1.x hours format.

I can't get that to happen on mine. It worked in 11.0 and I updated today to 11.0.1 and it's OK.

I'm attempting to create a custom certificate of completion that a learner can print at the end of a course.
I'd like to have the total time spent in the course displayed on it but am not sure about the variable to use.

But I have a fraction in that textual part and I want to display that fraction as a "typical fraction with a horizontal bar between the denominator and numerator". Hope you understand what I am asking.

So its kind of superimposing Sprite or MovieClip that has a fraction.Basically I have to make two textfields and put them together over a horizontal bar so that it looks like a fraction and then place it over a big textfield where the fraction should be.
Its a very long process.

When you are doing fieldcatalog,comment ws_fieldcat-do_sum = 'x'.
if you comment that it wont display totals.
use sort
i_sort type slis_alv...
clear ws_sort.
ws_sort1-spos = '1'<position of field>
ws_sort-fieldname = 'matnr'.
ws_sort-up = 'x'.
append ws_sort to i_sort.
pass this i_sort to FM
