SDK VB Examples: JSOFindWordVB can't run properly

Hi,
I installed Adobe Acrobat pro 9, SDK705 and Adobe reader in a new computer, then I downloaded the SDK705, but when I try to run the JSOFindWordVB, it dumps. By debugging the codes, the code below causes the problem:
gApp = CreateObject("AcroExch.App")
Cannot load type library for reference "Acrobat". Library not registered. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8002801D (TYPE_E_LIBNOTREGISTERED))
And, searching "AcroExch.App" in REGISTRY, it exists,
Does somebody have the idea about how to solve that?

That's because you have Acrobat and Reader installed on the same machine (which you're not supposed to do, really). I'm going to bet you installed Acrobat first and then Reader after, which is why it can't find the reference unless Acrobat is running.
When you decide to work with an unsupported configuration, you have to be very careful about these things. Install order in this case is crucial. If you install Reader first and then Acrobat after it, you should not see any problems even when Acrobat is not running.

Can I run a user query using SDK? what I am after is, when the user clicks a button on my screen, I want to run the user query already in the system.

I have an additional question to this thread. Does anyone know a way how to run an user query, and how to pass some parameters to it, so the user doesn't have to write them down manually?
For example, I add a button on a Bussines partner form and when this button is clicked, I want a query to be started with parameter %1 = businnes partner's code...
Is there some way how can I do this?

          I would appreciate if someone can explanation my long list of questions regarding
          the deployment of EJB in cluster environment.
          I can't run the cluster EJB example( Teller/Account) in a cluster(contains two
          server2). I always get

          Q1: Should I use 8001 or 7001 as cluster port number?

          Q4: I check the JNDI tree from all above three servers can't find out JNDI tree

First I can tell you that the ports have to be the same, be on the the
          same network , i.e. Telnet into the other m/c. Next which you probably
          have done is the properties files. Per-cluster ...

I have problems to get my Laser Jet 5L running properly under 10.5.8. I prints the first page/document and then it says1,36 % printed than printing but nothing happens. Under 10.4.11 everything works fine, sometimes I have to get the print jobs running again,but then it works.
I have the Laser Jet 5L connected via USB to parallel.
I am running a PowerBook G4 1,67 GHz and 2 GByte RAM.

Can I compile/run properly using JDK 1.4.2 in JDeveloper 10g (10.1.3)? I am doing a web service where JDeveloper 10g (10.1.2) does not help me to auto-generate the webservices.xml. I found out that the latest JDev (10.1.3) helps me to generate all those files that I needed to deal for JAX-RPC with attachment using Handler Chain; as well as the WS-Security. Since my Oracle Application Server is using JDK 1.4.2, so i would like to enquire whether I can use JDK 1.4.2 in my JDeveloper 10g (10.1.3) to compile and run my web service?

The purpose I use JDeveloper (10.1.3) is to create the Handler to handle the attachment in JAX-RPC web service. I had search the web for solution of step-by-step on how to create a Handler to handle attachment in JAX-RPC wizard in JDeveloper 10g (10.1.2) and yet I can't find any. Then I came across an article that explain on how to do that in JDeveloper (10.1.3). But, the limitation here is - my Oracle Application Server 10g is using JDK 1.4 and yet JDeveloper 10g(10.1.3) is using JDK1.5. Most of the code that is auto-generated by JDev 10.1.3 is based on JDK 1.5. If I can solve my problems using JDeveloper 10g (10.1.2) then I wouldn't want to use JDeveloper 10g (10.1.3) - at least not now. So, I am not sure of how stable is the JDeveloper 10g (10.1.3) preview version. What should I do next, please advise. Thanks

Have you tried the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the sample. If you slide that back and forth, the carousel will spin around. You can also click on any thumbnail in the carousel to spin it to make that the active selection.

Can't run DukesAgeResource examples (Your First Cup)

Hello, I believe I have found a possible issue in the "Your First Cup: An Introduction to the JavaTM EE Platform", and wonder if it relates to the fact that I cannot manage to run the example. At page 21, step 12, is states "In the REST Resources Configuration dialog, uncheck Add Jersey Library and click OK.". However, after clicking Finish (Step 11) no such a dialog is displayed, instead, NetBeans shows the DukesAgeResource.java file right away. Once I have completed entering the example and try to run it, I get this error message on the browser

I deleted my project and files and tried again half a dozen times, with the same result.
I am starting out with Java EE, any clue about what I may be doing wrong? May be the issue is related to the discrepancy on the "Your First Cup" tutorial?
Note that the ready-made example that comes packaged with NetBeans runs fine.

Thanks, for your replies. I've got a late 2012 iMac (2.7 GHz Intel Core i5). I was previously running Snow Leopard - Not sure exactly what version but it was right up to date.
The Adobe software I'm using is the Creative Cloud. Specifically InDesign cc. Whenever I try to browse folders through the InDesign software the browser window closes before I can do what I need to do. So I cant place images into my InDesign document or save documents properly.
On the Adobe website it says that they worked with apple to fix any bugs before the Mavericks release but there's lots of complaints on the forums. I've left a bug notification with Adobe but I don't expect that they will be offering any solutions or software updates any time soon.
I really just want to revert back without too much trouble.

How can i run the example programme without hardware

We are using NI-9233 for our Project. We would like to run the example programme, the NI-9233 getting started(host).vi ... I would like to ask that how can i run the Programme without Hardware.& How shall i get the input signal (simulating signal)?because we would like to test it while we are waiting for the hardware to be delivered .

As Mike indicated , " you can use MAX to simulate some (not all) DAQmx devices. There's a NI-USB-9233 device that you can probably use. Open MAX, then expand "My System", the expand "Devices and Interfaces", then right-click on "NI-DAQmx Devices" and select "Create New NI-DAQmx Device -> NI-DAQmx Simulated Device". Select the device from the list. See the online help for MAX for further help.
If you don't see "NI-DAQmx Devices" in MAX you need to install NI-DAQmx. You can download it from NI here. "

the link you gave me to download is "NI-DAQmx Devices" ... There is no software to download for Labview 8.2.1. So should i use 8.1 or 8.3 instead of 8.2.1 ? If not, can you tell me the CD no. that includes the "NI-DAQmx Devices" folder of Labview 8.2.1 version? Because we can get the cd from our school's component store. Thank you so much.

What do yo mean by: " it will backup on all devices"?
If you mean that is one persone purchases an app it appears on all device then on each device go to Settings>Store and turn off automatic downloads.
