Sec_error_ocsp_old_response error from latest firefox 31 release

My firefox installation just upgraded itself to 31.0 and I can no longer access our website. The error message is:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to https://***.com. The OCSP response contains out-of-date information. (Error code: sec_error_ocsp_old_response)
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.
The issue started happening only from 31 release and only for https url of this particular website i am trying to access. The same https url works in other web browsers.
A workaround is to toggle the security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling property to false in about:config, however I suspect this is not something you can expect the average user to do.
Can you please let me know what possibly changed in latest version and is there something i should do in our server?

I had to un-check the Use OCSP function under Options -> Advanced -> Certificates -> Validation. Once I restarted Firefox the website came back up.

  • Class mx.collections.ISort missing from latest framework Maven release

    Following migration from Flex 3.3, I had to modify one of my class that implements ICollectionView. This interface had changes in its API that require to replace:
            public function get sort():Sort
                return null;
            public function set sort(value:Sort):void
                //No Impl
    by:
            public function get sort():ISort
                return null;
            public function set sort(value:ISort):void
                //No Impl
    Using FLex SDK 4.5 bundled with FlashBuilder 4.5, my code is compiling just fine. However, when I build my project using Maven, I have the following errors:
    D:\dev\vanguard\trubk.eclipse37.flex45\core\src\main\flex\com\taleo\vanguard\controls\diag ram\HierarchicalCollectionView.as(147): col: 30 Error: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: ISort.

            public function set sort(value:ISort):void
    I'm using the latest flex framework release in the Maven Repository:
    <dependency>
      <groupId>com.adobe.flex.framework</groupId>
      <artifactId>framework</artifactId>
      <version>4.5.0.18623</version>
      <type>pom</type>
    </dependency>
    mx.collections.ISort interface is missing from the release and definition of mx.collections.ICollectionView is different from SDK bundled and Maven Repo ...
    What can I do ?
    EDIT: There are a lot of other differences between SDK available in Maven Repository and downloadable SDK ...

    Yup. The source files are simply missing from the 4.5 source releases....I'm hitting the same issue when trying to rebuild the SDK with flexcover changes applied.

  • Firefox has prevented an outdated plugin 'adobe flash' from running. This didn't start until the latest Firefox release, and I don't use M$Winblows. Linux only

    I just started started seeing this after the latest firefox release. I see it on M$Winblows at work, Linux and Mac at home, so it isn't activex related for me. I can't upgrade Flash for Linux since Adobe stopped supporting it, but I haven't had any issues up until the last week. And as far as Mac and Windows, they are up to date in patches. Once again engineers just love to make things better. If there was a better alternitive to Firefox I'd use it.

    The outdated Flash plugins is not due to any Firefox version or updates but due to a blocklist of vulnerable Flash plugins made on Dec 11/12. The Firefox 31.3.0esr and 34 were released on December 1st and the updated Flash came out on Dec 9.
    For Windows and Mac 16.0.0.235, 13.0.0.25'''9''' ESR and 15.0.0.24'''6''' are not vulnerable according to Adobe and are not on blocklist.
    For Linux the Flash 11.2.202.42'''5''' is not vulnerable according to Adobe and is not on blocklist while 11.2.202.42'''4''' and older is. Adobe is still supporting the Flash 11.2 with security fixes.
    Get choice of 16.0.0.235 or 13.0.0.25'''9''' ESR for Windows/Mac and the 11.2.202.42'''5''' for Linux at https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

  • Printing PDF Error from Acrobat Reader on Firefox

    Hi all !
    I have a website, that can generate PDF Files. Recently, when I generate a PDF from Firefox, and the PDF file is a bit large (like 18MB or 30MB), I can't print if from Firefox.
    The fact is that the preview of the PDF is shown correctly by Adobe Reader plugin, and it is specially in that case when it crashes. I can't print from it and also, I can download to my Desktop but when I open the downloaded file, error (corrupt file).
    The error thrown by Firefox is: (Preview Error. An error occurred when printing. It's not the explicit message because I had translated from Spanish but I think that it's the same)
    I tried from OSX Safari and runs properly, and the diferential fact is that Safari uses native PDF suport, any Adobe Plugin, even when I open from my Desktop, the saved generated file, If I open with Adobe Reader crashes, If I open with Apple Native Preview, runs fine.
    I give you a testing extract:
    Over Firefox 37.0.1, OSX 10.9.5 and Adobe Reader 11.0.10: Printing crashes and file Opening Crashes (File Size 16,9MB)
    Over Safari 7.1.2, OSX 10.9.5 and Adobe Reader 11.0.10: Printing runs fine and file Opening runs fine (File Size 16,9MB)
    Over Firefox 30, Windows7 Ult. x64  and Adobe Reader 11.0.10: Printing crashes and file Opening Crashes (File Size 30,4MB)
    Testing has been done with multiple source and content PDF files
    Could be caused by some updates?
    Any idea?
    Many thanks

    Hi barcelonamsg
    Are you able to print any other pdf files that aren't generated using that website?
    Regards,
    Rahul

    It was working fine and I had no problems, and then one day I tried opening a window and it froze. When I tried quiting the program my whole window went black. The x to the close the window doesn't work. The only option I have in my tool bar is Firefox and nothing happens when I try to quit firefox. Every time I try to shut down my computer Firefox prevents it. I haven't updated Firefox yet, so it's an older program, but only by a month or two. What's going on and how do I fix it?

    This is the first time it's ever happened. I downloaded the new operating system for Firefox but I can't install it until the Firefox currently running on my laptop quits, which it won't.

  • Getting "not enough space on iphone" error when trying to restore iPhone from latest backup in iTunes.

    Recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 6.1.3 and lost all of my contacts after doing so.  Tried to restore phone to latest backup performed in iTunes but I get an error message that tells me there's not enough space on my iPhone to perform the restoration.  The ultimate problem I'm trying to solve is the loss of my contacts so if there's another way to solve that please let me know. If restoring my phone is a proper solution please help me do so.
    1.  How do I get my contacts back?
    2.  How do I restore my iPhone from latest backup when getting "not enough space" error?
    Please help!

    Contacts are not part of the backup. They are seperate and either you need to sync them with an email program such as outlook or use icloud mail,contacts, and calendars on the phone. Unless you did that then the contacts are gone.
