Second user account cannot load music to iTunes. I've confirmed permission for Itunes folders on ALL accounts and this still does not work! Any other suggestions?

I'm opened every iTunes Media folder found on this Mac to Everyone for R&W access and still get this message of 'you don't have write access for you iTunes Media folder......' This is extremely frustrating!

Thank you I tried the reset again did not fix- I think I am down to calling Apple and paying for a tech - phone company says it is a software problem. I just updated to 8.1.3 - I thought the update might fix it.

To change your Apple ID, follow these steps:
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com), click "Manage your Apple ID", and sign in.

In the "Apple ID and Primary Email Address section," click Edit.

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? Some sites load fine. But some sites will not load when linked from another web site, or, occasionally, even from my bookmarks. I went through troubleshooting routine--cleared cache and cookies, history, checked in Safe Mode for extensions, etc., but still will not work in Safe Mode. No other problems with computer or browser.

What happens when you click the link that does not open up the new page? Is it a blank page? Does this also happen if you Shift Click the link?

If you did everything it says then you contacted them.

Seems there's been an issue for a couple of hours. If they fix it soon, I don't think a several-hour outage is the type of thing that affects AAPL. I've got my fingers crossed they'll fix it soon.

Also when I open itunes it gives me a warning and says "The registry settings used by the itunes drivers for importingand burning cd's and dvds are missing. Please reinstall itunes."
With that one let's first try a reboot and repair.
Reboot the PC (very important), and the do a *repair install* of iTunes.
Go to your "Add or Remove Programs" control panel, select iTunes, click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Does iTunes launch without the error message now?
If no luck there, try checking for a device filter conflict in your registry:

If you are talking about the screen-lock passcode, thate means that the restore never successfully completed.
Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall.
- Next try the manual install method of:
iDevice Troubleshooting 101 :: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
Place the iPod in recovery mode after the firmware download is complete and then restore using the instructions in the article. Sometimes recovery mode timeouts and returns to disabled before the firmware download is complete.
- Then try on another computer
