SecurityPanel.CAMERA won't pop up online

Hello,
I've been working on a website using the user's webcam to snap shots and display them on the page.
Everything works fine when I export it to .swf and works okay online but I tried it on a MacBook expecting it to run with the built-in webcam, the webcam won't turn on though...
I did a little googling about that and figured out that using the Security Panel settings would be the easiest way to go. Once again it works fine in swf but the panel won't pop up online... [it does ask me for authorization though]
I really can't figure out where it goes wrong.
Here's my code about the webcam

I did try writing the ShowSettings line different ways, it always works in .swf and never online.
If you've got any idea what the problem might be, please tell me.

Try selecting the contacts you'd like to print, then open the print dialog and click on the little triangle right to your printer's name at the top of the dialog. The dialog box should expand revealing a bunch of advanced options. At the drop-down menu labelled "Style" choose "List" and select the attributes you want to print from the table at the bottom (e.g. email-address, phone number, etc.). There should also be a preview available at the left side.

win7 Pro. has been running firefox ok. but lately with 25 and now 26, the firefox won't start. I can see firefox is running in task manager. but it just won't pop up.
if I download it again and install it, it will run, but every time I reboot the system, it just won't run again.
try: reset, safe mode, uninstall & reinstall, new/clean profile, none of those work.

There may be a corrupted file on Firefox.<br>

The shutter on my iPad front facing camera won't open. My husband and I are in Ireland and I can't take pictures. Can anyone help? It is the latest iPad version and I am updated with version 6.1.3.

Okay, mine now works here is what I did.
plug in the iPhone, iPad etc
in iTunes select the phone or iPad
Under Summary uncheck "Sync with this....."
Under "Music" uncheck the "Sync Music"
Let it remove all the songs, dont worry it will come back no problems.
Once that is all done all the music on the phone or ipad should be gone.
Now check them both back on and everything should copy back onto it.
Working now !!!!!

My camera won't open. How do I fix it? It been like this for the last few days/: I really need it fixed! Please help!

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
Also, you might check to see if restrictions are on (and the camera turned off): Settings app > General > Restrictions.

Tool bar "pop-ups" won't pop. How do I fix this?

I started having the problem in Adobe Fireworks CS5. I upgraded to CC and CS-6 Fireworks and I'm still having the same problems. I just tried Illustrator and Photoshsop and the toolbars there are broken as well. All of my pop-ups are locked up. They won't pop-up with other items to switch over to. I can find no fix for it. Any tool where you can change how that tool functions does not pop-up.
Any ideas?

Turn off Spotify (which is known for incompatibility with Fireworks), and check if you have Chrome running with the Google Play Music add-on.
If that does not resolve your issues, try turning off all other applications one by one.
Fireworks is no longer maintained, supported, or developed (since May 2013) by Adobe, and compatibility issues are bound to happen at this point.

click two times your home button to see the apps that are open. Hold the camera app until it jiggles and a minus sign appears. Press the minus sign.
Close your phone, then open it and click on the camera app. Everything will be ok

Mountain Lion Messages won't connect / go online

For the last few days Mountain Lion Messages won't connect / go online. Prior to that it would disconnec at random and it would be difficult to make it connect again. But now it's totally refusing to go online.

I solved the problem, with the help of a friend!
Turns out, even though Messages in Mountain Lion won't prompt you about this in any way, there is a difference between your @mac.com email and your @me.com email.
Messages on Mountain Lion has an iChat built in, but is actually at the same time a new protocol which does not use AIM like iChat. So, it's both AIM iChat and something new.
As soon as I added a new account inside Messages on Mountain Lion with @me.com I could reconnect and all is fine.
Apple, this is a lot less obvious to the end user than you might think. You have switched online services a few time and it always gets better and better. But Messages in Mountain Lion should prompt the user to add the @me.com address if this is required to use the software!

It sounds like there is an issue sending texts with photos from the Messages app on your iPhone. If the issue only occurs in when tapping the icon in the Messages app, not when texting pictures from other apps like the photo app, try the general app troubleshooting suggestions below on the Messages app.

Restart the app
Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
Update your device software and your apps
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.

When I try and change the camera to face front it acts like it's going to change then kind of freezes and won't let me change back to the back camera for several minutes.

Digital camera won't load...

Not sure if I am in correct forum...but I'll give this a go. I have a Mac OS X 10.6.3 that I purchased last week and today I tried loading pictures from my camera, but nothing pops up on the Desktop or anything stating I have photos. I've tried using iPhoto as well..but nothing. I have a Canon Rebel xSi and I don't know if it's compatible. Any help would be appreciate please.

Canon cameras work fine with Macs. I have several and mine are set up to work with Image Capture and an SD card reader rather than a direct camera connection. You first need to set up how and where you want to upload your pics. If you use iPhoto, go to iPhoto Preferences and under General, make sure that "Connecting Camera Opens" is set to iPhoto. Then connect your camera, turn it on, set it to view pictures rather than shoot pictures, and iPhoto should then open and upload your shots.
Again I don't use iPhoto for that but use Image Capture with a card reader instead so my setup is different.
Anyway, see if that works, remembering to turn on the camera and set the switches on it to whatever you do to view the shots you took.

Selecting camera by name in code breaks SecurityPanel.CAMERA

I'm having a problem selecting a specific camera on the desktop.
When I pass the "name" parameter to get the specific camera, it does select the proper camera:
var camera:Camera = Camera.getCamera("1");
If I call it again with a different parameter, again it works as it should by changing the camera:
camera=Camera.getCamera("0");
However once I execute that first call, I notice that if I right click on the movie, click Settings, click on the Camera tab in the Security popup, attempting to change the camera there has no effect. Normally you can change the camera from that panel if you do not get the camera object by name, however it seems that once you get a camera object by name, the SecurityPanel.Camera tab is broken. You can change the item in the dropdown, but the camera itself never changes.
Can anyone else verify this or is this a known bug?
This occurs in the IDE, Firefox 9, IE 8 with FP 11.1.102.55

@Crest-Raj – so, as you can see, there is no text frame by the name of "Main1". You either have to rename the text frame in the Layers Panel or do it by script.
Here a JavaScript(ExtendScript) snippet that works with the selected text frame:
app.selection[0].name = "Main1";
Close/re-open the Layers Panel and you'll see the updated name.
All the "names" in brackets are generic names InDesign will create, if you are creating a text frame.
For new empty text frames the generic name is: "<text frame>".
In the moment you insert contents, the generic name will change according to the contents.
If you try to get the "name" property of a text frame with a generic name, you'll get an empty String!
After re-naming the Text Frame in the Layers Panel or by scripting, the name will not change, if you add or delete contents.
