How do I move photos that were taken when photo stream was turned off into the photo stream on my iPad2?
You will need to do that by syncing them with a computer and then syncing the computer with the iPad.

Can I retrieve photos that were accidentally deleted or cleared from iMessages?
They should be in your Photos app in the Camera Roll.

Is there any way to retrieve photos that were put in the trash can and then it was emptied? Or is there a way to move photos from an imovie to iphoto?
If you've emptied the trash, ehtn no. However if you have a backup, like Time Machine, or a recent backup copy of your photo library you could recover the photos from the trash.
The answer to getting a snapshot form iMovie depends on what version you have.
I should add it technically may be possible to recover the emptied trash, but if you really want to do that you would need to download a utility software that can attempt to recover deleted files. Do it soon before you start writing more data to that disk. At the moment I don't have a recommendation for such a program. Maybe someone else out there will offer suggestion. -
How can I retrieve photos that were lost due to my 3GS going into recovery mode suddenly?
Yesterday I tried to open a couple of emails (that I get on a regular basis) but they didn't open; instead my. Mail just shut right down. I then realized I hadn't powered down in a couple days so I decided to power down and I plugged it in to charge as well. Within 20 mins it went into recovery mode. I've (my boyfriend) been able to restore the phone and update it but of course I had many photos on there that had not been backed up to iTunes yet.
Is there anyway to recover these lost photos??? Help please they are very important to me and I would like to get them back if its possible. Thanks :( I appreciate your response. I do back up my photos but I take a lot and obviously can't back them up after every photo I take so its all the photos since my last update that were lost.
Thanks anyway. I've heard that wondershare dr fone could possibly do it. Any comments on that software? -
It will print any jpeg photo that has been transfered to my laptop except the photos taken with my iphone. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have a solution?
Contact Polaroid and ask them.

How to retrieve photos that were deleted from trash
I deleted important Jpeg photos from iphoto and then emptied the trash.I have used FileSalvage and Odin software but they have proved ineffective as i have 32,000 + Jpegs in the hard drive.Any recommedations for a program with the ability to preview and sort these Jpegs ?
If you definitely have recovered all the files and just want to view them at a glance http://www.lemkesoft.com/ 's GraphicConverter has a function to browse folders at a glance.
If not, Prosoft Data Rescue can rescue what you need, and so can other tools on my user tip.
The key is knowing whether or not you have all the files or not. The problem when you don't have all the files, every action you take while the hard drive that had the trash is spinning could make the file harder and harder to recover. With Data Rescue and similar tools, you add an external hard drive and boot off a DVD with a data recovery tool, and don't do anything with the hard drive except recover all the most recently deleted files. -
How do I remove photos that were uploaded to my iphone 4
How do I remove photos that were uploaded to my iphone 4. They were photos that were taken with a Camera, and I somehow loaded them into my iphone.
Welcome to the Apple Community Brian.
It would help if we knew where they have come from.
My webpage here might help you understand the various ways photos can be saved on your device and some of the advantages and disadvantages associated with each method. -
I had an iPhone 4 that got stolen and just got a new one, so after I had taken important photos I plugged the phone into iTunes and it accidentally restored to my old iPhone data and uploaded all that information, deleting the new photos before I had a chance to back them up. I don't suppose there is any way of retrieving this lost data?
If these are photos that were synced to your phone, the only way to extract them from your phone is third-party software, like this:

I just purchase an IPhone5C to upgrade from my IPhone4, but I do not know how to get all of my photos that were on ICloud on my Photo Stream (875 photos), on to my new phone. I thought that since my 5C can see Icloud that all photos would be there... Can someone help me get the pics from my Iphone4 to the 5C?
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there (subject to a 1,000 photo limit) until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device. -
Re: My Macbook 2009 model was recently upgraded with a new hard drive and upgraded to Mountain Lion OS. I am battling to retrieve all my photos that were ''saved'' in iCloud. Can someone help?
If you are trying to recover photo stream photos, they are only held in iCloud for 30 days. All you would be able ro recover is photo stream photos from the last 30 days.
If you have an iOS device that still has the photo stream photos one it, you can save them to the camera roll by opening the my photo stream album, tapping Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Once in the camera roll, they can be imported to iPhoto on your Mac as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. -

While we all have MacBooks in this forum most of us don’t use iCloud. There's an iCloud Support Community where everybody uses iCloud. You should also post this question there to increase your chances of getting an answer. https://discussions.apple.com/community/icloud/icloud_on_my_mac

When just starting Icloud can I upload previous 30 days of photos that were not taken while on Icloud?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
In addition to new photos being automatically added to your photostream album, you can also manually add any photo, regardless of when it was taken.
Just tap the share icon when viewing any photo and choose photostream.
