Seeing twice in B2B consoles

Hi All,
I am using Custom document using generic protocol
My process is , Inbound to B2B, placing the files in ftp folder and B2B will picks up and it will send it to Fusion....
my question is: I placed a file once in ftp folder but it showing twice in B2B console.
I cross checked both the payloads , both are same , but time format is difference of 4 seconds.
I cross checked if i added any resubmission logic, but i m not.
Please help me to resolve this.

Hi CNU,
1Is this a HA configuration with multiple instances of B2B accessing the common File/FTP folder?HA - High Availability, is the concept of running multiple instances of same server. To know more, please refer -
http://www.b2bgurus.com/2008/02/high-availability-with-fileftp-adapter.html
2. What is the value of minimumAge parameter in the Host DC configuration? There is a setting in FILE/FTP transport, receiver file minimum age(in ms) - Time before which b2b will not pickup the file from the target directory. B2B has capability of timestamp based reading, means it would not process the incoming file until the specified time in configuration. It would prevent B2B to read the half written files. By default, it's value is zero.

  • New Apps Tab in document definition page of B2B Console

    Hi All,
I am trying to figure out a way to convert all EDI formats into a single Canonical XSD format before sending it to SOA layer. This is to avoid different SOA services for each EDI format.
Could you please let me know something about the Apps tab in document definition page of B2B Console. I am seeing an XSLT File field there. What can we use here?
    Regards,
    Raghav

If I upload standard 850 ecs file in B2B, can B2B read all custom 850 files, transalte based on standard ecs and send it to SOA layer in a single XSD(850) format? It will be supported in future release. As of now, you have two options -
    1. Handle it at SOA by using XSLT transformations. Recommended.
    2. You may create a generic 850 ecs which can handle all custom 850 transactions at your end though this will have some limitations and I do not recommend it personally.
And regarding Apps tab, can i create an XSLT file to convert EDI format to canonical format in B2B itself? No. B2B does not execute any XSLT to transform the messages.

  • MDS-01401: Fails in updating configuration using B2B console

    Hello B2B experts,
I am getting the following error applying any changes to the TP using B2B console. I checked the log and it doesn't give me more information than the following one. I restarted both weblogic and soa severs, and still it is throwing the same error.
MDS-01401: Updating a node in one document "/soa/b2b/tp_MyCompany.xml" using a node from a different document "/soa/b2b/tp_MyCompany.xml.bak" is not allowed.
ADF_FACES-60097: For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096: Server Exception during PPR, #39
    Any ideas on this one?
    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks Anuj for quick response.
There was a problem with one of the file, tp_MyCompany.xml has been backed up by one of our developer as tp_MyCompany.xml.bak and he included that in the exported TP file. When we did an import of that file, the .bak file took precedence over the .xml file. Rather, B2B was trying to update both the files I believe and it was throwing out the expcetion. I deleted the .bak file and reimported it again and everything is now working as expected.
    Regards!

  • Custom File Name Format in B2B Console

    Hi,
Please let me know if we can have a customized File Name Format in the B2B Console for the X12 EDI/XML Files.
I have read the Oracle doc and only the following formats are mentioned:
    %FROM_PARTY%
    %TO_PARTY%
    %DOCTYPE_NAME%
    %DOCTYPE_REVISION%
    %MSG_ID%
    %TIMESTAMP%
Is there a way to have a PO# (From the Trading Partner Payload) in the filename format?
    You help is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Priyanka G

no. It has the format which helps B2B in identifying the agreement

    Hello Sandy,
I am not sure what exactly the problem is but it seems your domain has been messed up.
Can you create a fresh schema in database using RCU and create a brand new domain pointing to those new schemas and then try to create a b2b document definition?

  • SOA B2B adapter(send) - B2B console not identifying partners correctly

    Hi there,
    My case is like this.
Trading partner is sending a doc through custom http server which B2B cant reach.
So I wrote a SOA Composite to fetch this xml from remote & then send the document to B2B.(as if partner is sending to host)
I used B2B adapter & send operation for this.
The issue is, B2B is not correctly recognizing the sender trading partner.
B2B engine is assigning the same TP for both sender and receiver.
I am setting Generic Identifier to set the sender/receiver value.
(for example... am using Google as Host & Amazon as Partner.. )
    Properties Set in B2B Adapter:
28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.toTradingPartnerId", value is "Google".Sending property "b2b.toTradingPartnerId", value is "Google".
    28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.documentProtocolVersion", value is "Amazon_1.50".Sending property "b2b.documentProtocolVersion", value is "Amazon_1.50".
28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.documentProtocolName", value is "Custom".Sending property "b2b.documentProtocolName", value is "Custom".
28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.fromTradingPartnerId", value is "Amazon".Sending property "b2b.fromTradingPartnerId", value is "Amazon".
28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.toTradingPartnerIdType", value is "Generic Identifier".Sending property "b2b.toTradingPartnerIdType", value is "Generic Identifier".
    28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.documentDefinitionName", value is "PO_Defn".Sending property "b2b.documentDefinitionName", value is "PO_Defn".
28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.fromTradingPartnerIdType", value is "Generic Identifier".Sending property "b2b.fromTradingPartnerIdType", value is "Generic Identifier".

28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Invoked 1-way operation "send" on partner "SendB2BOrder".Invoked 1-way operation "send" on partner "SendB2BOrder".
    As seen In B2B Console:
    Sender Type     Generic Identifier
    Sender Value     Amazon
    Receiver Type     Generic Identifier
    Receiver Value     Google
    Sender     Google (????)
    Receiver     Google
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Not sure, What exactly are you trying to achieve.
Please check with your TP that url should be http://<url>:<port>/b2b/httpReceiver . "http://<url>:<port>/b2b/httpReceiver" or "http://<url>:<port>/b2b/transportServlet" URLs are used by B2B to receive the http request.
To send the message out from B2B, values should be like this:
    Sender Type Generic Identifier
    Sender Value Google
    Receiver Type Generic Identifier
    Receiver Value Amazon
    b2b.toTradingPartnerId = Amazon
    b2b.fromTradingPartnerId = Google
This means message to going from Google to Amazon.
If still the issue persist, Send the log to my mail.

    Nitesh

  • See Grub menu on console

We have some Dell 860's running Sol10-1106, everything goes smoothly except for getting the Grub menu/splashscreen to display on console. This is somewhat important as they will be across the world and we need grub to select the root disk mirror if the primary goes bad.
    I've tried setting:
    eeprom console=ttya
and (separately, as all comments say is bad to have them together) setting menu.lst options to redirect display:
    serial unit=0 speed=9600
    terminal serial
I know this is the correct menu.lst as the kernel flag to redirect standard information to console:
    -B console=ttya
works there. Neither works, I see nothing on the console until the OS begins booting. After that console works perfectly.
    Any ideas?

  • ODSEE 11gR1: DS server instances displayed twice in DSCC console

    I recently migrated some DSEE 6.x DS instances to ODSEE 11gR1 (dsconf : 11.1.1.5.0 B2011.0517.2145) on RHEL 5.7 x64 .
When running "./dsccreg list-servers -aC" on the DSCC host, I can see all my ODSEE instances.
However, in the DSCC console, some instances appear twice, in the "Directory Servers" -> "Servers" sub-tab, and some others appear
    only once, normally.
For the instances appearing twice, I have the following in the "Server" column:
    server shortname:389 (server not registered)
    server FQDN:389
I'd like to know how to remove the "server not registered" lines. I don't know how does DSCC build this server list, but I've checked it's
not defined under th cn=dscc tree.
The problem with that wrong display, is that for example in the replication agreements tab, some replication agreements are displayed twice too,
    which is confusing.
DSCC runs in a Tomcat 6.0.35 container, and my java version is as follows:
    java version "1.6.0_20"
    OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.9.10) (rhel-1.23.1.9.10.el5_7-x86_64)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 19.0-b09, mixed mode)
    Any idea ?

I did what you suggested. Both commands worked fine and produced no errors but the problem remains in the DSCC GUI.
When running ./dsccreg list-servers, it still works fine, I see all servers only once.
Also, I noticed that if I look at the GUI between the remove-server and the add-server command, each server appears
twice with the following comment between brackets: (server not registered).
After registering the server again, one the "(server not registered)" comment 's been removed but the other instance
    with the comment remains.
So, the remove-server command doesn't prevent an instance from being displayed in the DSCC GUI. This is what I'd like.
