SOA B2B adapter(send) - B2B console not identifying partners correctly

Hi there,
My case is like this.
Trading partner is sending a doc through custom http server which B2B cant reach.
So I wrote a SOA Composite to fetch this xml from remote & then send the document to B2B.(as if partner is sending to host)
I used B2B adapter & send operation for this.
The issue is, B2B is not correctly recognizing the sender trading partner.
B2B engine is assigning the same TP for both sender and receiver.
I am setting Generic Identifier to set the sender/receiver value.
(for example... am using Google as Host & Amazon as Partner.. )

Not sure, What exactly are you trying to achieve.
Please check with your TP that url should be http://<url>:<port>/b2b/httpReceiver . "http://<url>:<port>/b2b/httpReceiver" or "http://<url>:<port>/b2b/transportServlet" URLs are used by B2B to receive the http request.
To send the message out from B2B, values should be like this:
Sender Type Generic Identifier
Sender Value Google
Receiver Type Generic Identifier
Receiver Value Amazon
b2b.toTradingPartnerId = Amazon
b2b.fromTradingPartnerId = Google
This means message to going from Google to Amazon.
If still the issue persist, Send the log to my mail.

Sender from our domain receives this error:
<Exchange.ourdomain.local>: Helo command rejected: ACCESS DENIED. Your email was rejected because the sending mail server does not identify itself correctly (.local)
Our internal DNS seems to be fine as mail.ourdomain.com should reply to Helo.
Could this possibly be an issue with an external DNS entry and maybe a SPF record?

Is the "Generating server:" part of the message simply referring to the server getting the bounce-back. This is NOT what the receiving email gets in response to a EHLO, right?

How do I specify the gmail outgoing server if I have multiple gmail accounts in my mail? I have 2 business accounts and when I send mail from one account, it is sent from the other account and the sending email is not from the correct account.

I love my apple email and do not want to use google mail on safari. However, I have 2 gmail accounts set up on apple mail, but when I send mail from one of my gmail accounts (I choose the specific gmail account in the drop down window), it actually goes out as if it is from the other gmail account. I can't have that happen because one is my job, the other is a personal business account and unfortunately, the mail from both gmail accounts want to send through the personal business account. How do I make it send from a specific gmail account? I even tried deleting the accounts and setting them up again hoping I set it up wrong in the first place, but to no avail, it is still doing the same thing except this time I set the job account up first and then the personal business account and now everything goes from the job account! The only good thing is that the incoming messages work properly and they go into the correct inbox. Somebody please fix my outbox!

In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

Will B2B Adapter in SOA Composite receives fault when validation fails ?

Can any one clarify the following questions on B2B ?
1. Can B2B Adapter receive exception whenever validation fails on b2b console after data sent from SOA Composite? if not how can we implement fault to soa composite in case of fault in b2b console?
2. How can SOA Composite having b2b adapter configured with send operation know about fault happened in b2b console due agreement fail or validation fails or configuration fails?
3. How can we handle faults in case of inbound scenario?

Exception is handled in oracle b2b.
All the execeptions are sent to IP_IN_QUEUE( in case of AQ) and B2B_IN_QUEUE( in case of JMS) with the consumer as "b2berror".
You can configure your B2B adapter to pull out the exception messages in your soa composite.

First deploy the inbound B2B agreement with no channels selected under Host TP channels dropdown and then deploy your SOA composite which is referring to the deployed doc-def. Run an inbound test and you should be good to go.
2. will Listening channel with JMS protocol do EDI------XML translation? if so what are the configuration that need to be done?Yes, you may translate native EDI to XML with JMS listening channel as well. Make sure that listening channel is not marked as internal and an inbound EDI agreement is deployed for corresponding EDI doc. Following custom JMS headers must be set so that B2B can identify the partner -

TO_PARTY
3. Will B2B Adapter receive operation listens messages from other protocols like File ,FTP ? if so what need to be done ?No. B2B adapter supports only three modes - JMS/AQ/Default (fabric), however you may use file/ftp adapter to receive files from B2B over file/ftp respectively.

B2B adapter is not polling any data from EDI X12 810 ECS file

I am new to Oracle B2B. I am using
Jdev 11.1.1.6
Oracle Editor : 7.0.5.4016
Document Protocol : EDI_X12
Document type : 810 (Invoice )
Version: 4010
Weblogic server :11.1.1.6.0
Requirement is : i had an EDI file and i need to translate the EDI map using the B2B adapter, transport to SOA Suite and insert into a custom DB.
Issue is : B2B adapter is not polling any data from EDI X12 810 ECS file
for this i created sample EDI X12 810 ecs file, i converted the same to .xsd and .dat file. I created partner, and while configuring channel i used '*Generic File 1.0*' protocol and i given folder path( i also checked, by just giving folder Name) in the folder name property of 'Transport Protocol Parameters' , i also placed sample xml file into this folder. And I created sample process in Jdev to poll data from this folder.
build and deployment is fine for this process, but no instances is created for this process. and the Process is not Polling any data from the folder which i mentioned in the Transport Protocol Parameters.
is this the way am doing is wrong for my current requirement or am i did any wrong step (as stated above ) ? Please help me. How can i receive data from this EDI file to my bpel process so that i can continue with the rest of the Process. Thank you in advance

I placed .dat file now. The file Picked by B2B adapter. But i was getting the Error. The error i found in Business Message as

I also has one more doubt, now i created ecs,xsd and .dat by selecting sample EDI file in Document editor. suppose i want create the same ecs ,.xsd and .dat for my gentran file which is of EDI x12 810 standard but i have it in PDF format , then how can i access that to in Document editor ( in the import option, i found Gentran DDF and Gentran Unix IG and i was getting the following error while importing my PDF file

How does B2B Adapter for Inbound operation for SOA Composite works

I am new to B2B. can any one share samples or links or doc's on B2B Adapter for inbound operation (receive)?
Can any one share B2B inbound channel configuration ?

1. How does the above can be achieved using JMS protocol?Where would you like to pitch-in JMS? You want to receive inbound message at B2B over JMS or between SOA and B2B, you want to use JMS?
For receiving inbound message at B2B over JMS, please create a non-internal listening channel at B2B. Make sure to set JMS headers -

For using JMS between, SOA and B2B, create a JMS channel in Host TP profile and add it in the inbound agreement (for inbound scenario). For outbound scenario, create an internal listening channel and make sure that from back-end, headers mentioned on above link, are being set.

Composite repeator Not identified in Oracle B2B for EDIFACT

HI,
We are trying to parse an custom EDIFACT message through oracle B2B 11.g
B2B is successfully able to parse and convert the EDIFACT into XML; but, it is not able to recogonize the composite separator (group/segment separator are working fine)
ex: Group - Segment - Composite - Element1, Element2
group and segment repeatations are fine but the composite is not repeating for the second iteration.
any help on this is much appreciated
please do update if any configuration needs to be updated.

How B2B Adapter will process multiple statements in one file

Hi All,
I have a file of MT940 format. I am able to read the file using B2B adapter. It contains multiple statements. Each statement is having opening and closing balance.
Now B2B Adapter is creating the instance on each statements Simultaneously.
Problem:
Here i need the closing balance of the 1st statement, is opening for the next statement, and i need to record the updated closing and opening balance in table. As B2B is processing independently each statement, i am not able to correlate the statement details.
Example -
Lets say i have 3001490311 - 16012013 MT940 File having mutilple statements, Lets say 3 statements.
Statement 1 -
Op Bal - 10,000, Cl Bal - 20,000
Statement 2 -
Op Bal - 20,000, Cl Bal - 30,000
Statement 3 -
Op Bal - 30,000, Cl Bal - 40,000
I need to record the Updated closing balance in the table, As B2B Adpter starts processing the statements independently, so i am not able to corelate bettwen the statements. Please if any one has any solution for this problem, please post it immediately

Thanks for your reply. As I unchecked the translate button. while testing i came to know that, In B2B console it showing as complete, but soa process is not getting started.
Problem:
B2b reading the file sequentially. In My case file type MT940 Postional Flat File. As its getting the starting position of the statement, B2B is creating a instance and that instance keep on moving independently, now again B2b is keep on reading the another statements in the same file.
Once again B2B is getting a starting position to read the statement, again creating the instance. so in the similar ways B2B is keep on creating the instance for other statement in the same file.
But in my case i need the out put of one process should be input to the next processs. As B2B is processing independently, i am not able to correalte the processes.
In my case I need B2b should processs first statement, till completion of the first process second processes should not initiate, so that i can use the out put of one process to input to the another process.

All,
I have to print a edifact file and place it in a certain location using b2b and soa. could you please let me know how this could be done. in the b2b console i could see only listening channels. could this be done directly through b2b adapter or should i use soa adapter.. if either how..

i went through the docs
1. the doc with the sample is hard to understand. i opened the composite, but i guess the b2b config changes also needs to be done. they are not clearly mentioned in the doc.
2. cant find details to create outbound adapter in edifact faormat...
you aware of any other links or samples. Also I am new to B2B...

While configuring B2B adapter in jdev 11.1.1.6, i'm getting the following error at the Document definition step,
Unable to connect to URL: https://ip address:port no/integration/services/b2b/B2BMetadataWSPort due to javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: Violated path length constraints
please let me know if anyone of you faced this issue and has a resolution. We have SSL configured and using Rosettanet protocol.

It seems like a SSL issue related to the certificate. Can you make sure that certificate being presented by the server (hosting URL https://ip address:port no/integration/services/b2b/B2BMetadataWSPort) is valid and you have complete cert chain in the keystore of SOA server?

I have configured two B2B trading partner over ebMS communication. I have also configured an internal delivery channel using JMS.I am posting a msg(the Tp identification is through duns no.) on the JMS queue and I am not able to receive it on the Tp side and i am getting the following error

":" - has been used as default separator so if you identifier holds this value, please enable add the tip.properties entry as below and things should be fine.
oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.partyTypeAndValueSeparator=#.
Here's a sample for jms enqueue,
FROM_PARTY= urn:oasis:names:tc:ebXML-cppa:partyid-type:duns#232510151
TO_PARTY= urn:oasis:names:tc:ebXML-cppa:partyid-type:duns#123456789
Just replace the "FROM_PARTY" and "TO_PARTY" as "from" and "to" for AQ.

The outbound B2B is working fine; however for the inbound file transfer the file is picked up from the trading partner and this exception occurs.

Please paste more log in trace 32 mode. What is the name of the file you are receiving? By default B2B expects incoming filename as -
<FromTPName>UniqueId.<anyFile_Extn>
For e.g., if partner MarketInc is sending the file then it's name should be - MarketInc_12345.dat or MarketInc_34567.xml
Make sure that listening channel is not marked as internal as well.

B2B-BPEL Interoperability using b2b adapter

Hello All,
We have Oracle B2B 10.1.2.0.2 is installed over Mid Tier (J2EE & WebCache Application Server 10.1.2.0.2) on one machine. and SOA 10.1.3.0 installed on another machine.
Now we need to configure B2B-BPEL adapter in SOA suite. For this we have followed the steps mentioned in Readme.txt file of $ORACLE_MIDTIER_HOME\ip\install\B2B-BPEL.zip and after giving correct hostname, port, sid and b2b schema password the process is completed successfully.
But we still dont see any b2b folder in wsil browser while creating partner link in bpel.
Please assist us to resolve this issue.

I have already followed the instructions mentioned in setting up B2B adapter in WSIF browser through BPEL developers prompt but still i cant see any b2b adapter option while creation Partner Links in JDev.
I have installed Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2 J2EE and Web Cache Type and B2B resides on it.
Do i need to upgrade this Application Server by the patch and MLR you suggested because b2b installation over this Application Server ???
I tried another option of sending documents to B2B through BPEL ie. using AQ adapters but i have couple of queries
1. while enqueuing documents to IP_OUT_QUEUE , how do we populate the parameters of Header and IP_Message_Type ??
2. What value should be assigned to payload parameter of IP_MESSAGE_TYPE ?
3. while defining the XSD for Purchase Order EDI files, I select the 850.xsd in which i see no root element but multiple composite elements along with TransactionSet element. Which element should I select for defining the XSD ??
Kindly help me clearing the above doubts .
