Seeking FLV can prevent it from receiving metadata

I'm making an application where a user watching a
progressive-download FLV file can press a button to relaunch it in
a seperate window; the current video and current time index are
passed through a combination of PHP and javascript, and the SWF in
the new window begins loading the requested FLV then immediately
seeks to the requested time index. (In theory, it should be able to
'skip ahead' immediately since at least that much of the FLV will
still be in the browser's cache from having gotten that far on it
in the previous window.) The problem is that whenever flash seeks
immediately after accessing a FLV file, the onMetadata event is
never triggered; but if, for example, the new window is opened
before the playehead can get very far (meaning the new window
attemps to seek to a point before the second keyframe), the
metadata loads fine.
Just thought everyone would like to know. Is this the place
to be posting bug reports?

Not sure if it is a bug but more the nature of the timing.
The onMetaData
handler is triggered after a call to the NetStream.play()
method, but before
the video playhead has advanced.

The form will close automatically when you do changes that can affect the form fillers. Sorry there is nothing you can do beside explicitly open the form after your changes.

You need to log turn imessage off on the old phone and change your Apple ID password.

I have one database "user", whom I have assigned "The role". All the needed access are assigned to "The role",
Now, whenever my team member create new table, procedure, i expect them to grant necessary priviledges to "The role" and not to "user". Hence, I want to prevent them from granting any priviledges directly to "user".

My address book and iPhone pics have become low resolution. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening when I start out with a higher resolution picture?

I guess I squeezed my entire issue into the subject line. lol When I sync my iphone to my laptop I notice that all my address book pics and iphone pics have become lower resolution, even though I started out with the resolution that I really needed to produce decenty address book printouts. Plugins usually are installed externally to Firefox. However, you can disable them in Firefox so that Firefox does not use them.

Usually it works to choose your preferred search engine from the drop-down. To remove an unwanted search engine plugin, usually the Manage Search Engines... choice at the bottom of the drop-down takes care of it.

I'm developing a WS client mobile application, which consumes a Web Service (java based).
Usually it works fine, but sometimes in the clinet I get: java.rmi.MarshalException: Unexpected Exception : unexpected end of stream
This error occur when some big data has to be received from the server.
I've done some research on this problem and find that this is caused because of sending of th response via HTTP chunks. Somehow the server and client sides does not
communicates as expected.
I have no access to the Web service implementation.
Is there a workaround to solve this problem on the client side?
Can I force WS client to not receive the response in http chunks?

I managed to fix it by using the well known pattern:
Web Service on the server(1) <--> Web Application(2) <--> Mobile Client(3).
For communication between (1) and (2) was by using WS, and between (2) and (3) was made by plain http connection. Now the application is portable and don't have any limitations.

Currently I use Gnome 3.4
The last time I did full system updated to Gnome 3.6, everything went very bad. Currently I have a lot of packages waiting for update, and I do not update because it includes a lot of Gnome 3.6 packages as well. Is there a way to ignore the whole gnome group from updating? Currently I do not have time to mess with the stupid things they did in Gnome 3.6, but I do want my system up to date.

You can use IgnoreGroup in the [options] section of pacman.conf:
IgnoreGroup = gnome

Personally never used the feature, so I'm not sure about the implications of ignoring an entire group.

How can I keep from receiving my incoming emails twice?

I receive most of my emails twice. When I delete one, they are both deleted.

This could be an issue with @mac.com, @me.com and @icloud.com adresses.
These addresses are the same, mail will be received double, but when you remove 1 of them, all 3 will be affected.
When you only have 2 of these (me.com/icloud.com), it happens too, but than with 2 duplicates instead of 3.

I have created the ios app using adobe AIR16 and flash cc. After submission of my aap into aapstore, I received a message from Apple with the following message –

By using xcode we can prevent files from being backed up to icloud and itunes, but i want to know that what is the way to achieve this by using AIR. While creating an explicit app id from apple developer account , i am not enabling icloud support.

Within AIR you can set the File.preventBackup property to true on a directory or file to prohibit that content from being backed up to the cloud:

Prevent Lync from apearing offline

I have problem with my Lync, it's the company policy that we lock our computers every time we step away from it, and for all my coworkers when they lock their PCs, Lync changes the status to away, but my user appears offline, which is very annoying since
it prevents me from receiving any messages when I am away, and it looks like I am not at work, maybe I just went to the restroom and people think I closed for the day, so they panic and call my manager who calls my cell phone...
do you know what could be causing this? or how can I adjust the settings to appear away instead of offline?

Please test he issue with your Lync account on other well-worked computer Lync client.
Please also test the issue on your issued Lync client with well-worked Lync account to check if the issue happen again or not.
If the issue only happen with your Lync client, no matter which Lync account are used, it can be the issue of the Lync client or the computer setting. Please try to delete Lync user profile and Registry information:
Lync user Profile: <user profile>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Communicator\
Lync Registry information: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Communicator\[email protected]
Then test the issue again.
If the issue only happen for the special Lync account, no matter which computer Lync client to login, it can be the issue of the Lync account. Please try to disable it and then enable it again to test the issue.

How do i prevent Dreamweaver from changing all of my pages?

Hello, thank you in advance for your help!
I am using Dreamweaver CS5.5 and have downloaded a free CSS template (www.freecsstemplates.org).
I created my home page and moved onto the second page - as i wanted the same theme i simply copied and pasted the HTML code and CSS code into a new document, when i made changes to the layout on the second page, the same changes were applied to the home page.
Is there anyway i can prevent this from happening?

Let me begin by saying I'm not a huge fan of these templates. The code is somewhat bloated and it's not even an HTML5 doc.
That said, open your HOME page. Go to File > SaveAs > newfilename.html.
Make required changes to the text only. Save again.
NOTE: Any changes you make to the external CSS file (style.css) will effect all pages in your site. That's how global CSS works. If you need a page specific style for page 2, embed it into the <head> tag of your document like this.
