Select all db taking part in production.
Is there any internal view which keep information about all DBs taking part in production?
As already mentioned that Database A has no idea and no way of knowing whether there are any database links in Database B that point to A. You'd have to go to Database B to get that sort of information.
Think how database B will know that there is one db link which is point to me (database b) at database A.
Its not possible without logging on to database B.
At the maximum you can :
select distinct upper(host) from dba_db_links;
It will list you the name of databases and tnsentries which are being used for all the db links. Now open tnsnames.ora and get all the tnsentries (database names/SID/Service Name) which are being used by db links.

My product has some very large tables (using RANGE_PAGING). I want to allow the end user to do a Select All operation, and then press a command button to act on all selected rows, but want my backing code to detect a Select All has been done, rather than attempt to retrieve all rows from the table. Is this doable with a RichTable?
I'm porting an existing UI over to ADF -- the old UI handled this by having a separate select all button (column header), which would get unset if any row got unselected, and the backing code could interrogate that. I was wondering if there was a more ADF-ish way of handling this.

IIn the past it was possible to click on an album in iPhoto, select all photos in the album, and then click on another album and see which of the initially selected pics is in the second album. This capability seems to no longer be available. Is this an oversight on my part or was this capability dropped by the developers?
Here's an example of what I'm asking about. Say I have pictures of everybody who's played in Major League Baseball this year in one album and everyone who played last year in another. So if I select all the photos in the last year album, it will probsbly contain some players who won't be in this years album because they retired or went down to the minors or whatever. In the past I could open this year's album and see that anyone selected from last year's album was highlighted in this year's album. A quick and easy way to find who's missing in any situation. I just can't find that same capability in iPhoto 9.6.

1. List: Components, Layout: Standard layout set the Missing part
It shows the component requirement/withdrawn quantity for each operation of production order. It is not showing the commit quantity.

I downloaded the OEHR Sample Objects application and followed the steps in Oracle® Application Express Advanced Tutorials
Release 3.2.
The parameters and report seem to be working correctly except when I enter "all" for department or manager I get no matching hits.
What's the most efficient way to retrieve "all" if the users selects all for dept and mgr - thus we'd want to return all records in the table.

Using (Select All) for report parameter
Hi there,
I am Looking for assistance in making the the (Select All) option work for a particular report. The parameter is for product families (which there are about 47 unique results for). The report is also influenced by two other parameters, one being a date type
i.e 'MTD' 'YTD' 'MAT'. When a long date type such as MAT is selected, selecting all families causes the report to get stuck in an endless loop.
I've tried creating my own <Select All'> item in the parameter dataset, then I have the opposite issue, the <Select All> selection works perfectly but when I try and tick two or more product families I recieve the following error:
"An expressions of non-boolean type specified in a context where a condition is expected, near ',' "
Parameter Dataset:

I have check the query you have provided the issue cause by the query "

'<Select All>')" you are using which is incorrect.
If the parameter @Family have set as "Allow multiple values" then you don't need to add new label "Select All" for the multiple value parameter already have this section, if the parameter @Family is not the multiple values
parameter and you want to select all the values or just select one, you can modify the query as below which will works fine:

(@Family) OR
@Family = '<Select All>'
If you are using the stored procedure and have issue about add multiple value parameter in the where clause, you are take reference to below similar case about how to create an function to make it work:

If I have some misunderstanding, please try to provide more details information about the relationship of all the parameters (Cascading or not ), current result you have got and expect result you want(Snapshot).

BI PUBLISHER : not able to select 'all' from the menu as parameter

I have created a report using a SQL query . i created a list of values using the following sql query :
select EDM_TRD_HDR.TRD_ID as TRD_ID
from MUREXEDM.EDM_TRD_HDR
and selected this in the menu settings in parameters .
i checked on 'can select all ' option and also on 'NULL Values passed' button.
On clicking view , i am able to see the data for the default valu of the parameter. however, when i select 'all ' from the menu , i am just getting the column headings and no data .
please reply if you are aware of this problem.
Also let me know wether we can create a view selector for a BI publisher report and are there any functionalities which can be implemented in answers and not in the publisher.You've selected 'null value passed' so you need to write the driving query in your data model in a way that will show all values when the parameter is null:
eg
select *
from
your_table
where
(:p_paramter is null or your_column = :p_parameter)
and ...
(assuming not multi select).
With view selector, you can create conditional regions so could mimic something like that. With regards to features they are completely different products - so almost everything.

how can I save a page and all its component parts in a single file, like IE does as an MHT?
It's much easier for mailing to people where page address not available?? (as in output from an airline booking site, for example)
It is simply too painful to have to zip everything up into a single file to send. MHT format has been available for years now from IE, and with every new FF release it's the first thing I look for. I have been using FF for years, and hate having to come out of it, over into IE |(which I even took out of startup) and key everything in again, in order to send somebody something in a convenient format that they can open with a single click.
I can't believe this hasn't been asked before, so have you looked at it and rejected it? Have MS kept the file format secret?

MGThis is not really an answer just my comments on your question.
I am sure I recollect efforts being made to get mhtml to work with FF.
Probably the important thing to remember about .mhtml is that if other browsers do support it they may need addons, and may not necessarily render the content correctly/consistently.
There are FF addons designed for archiving webpages, you could try them, but that then assumes the recipient has the same software.
You could simply save the page from FF to your XP pc; then offline open it with and save it using IE, before then emailing using FF, and attaching the .mht or mhtml file that you have now created on your PC.
As an alternative method, in some cases it could be worth considering taking a screen grab of the required page, then sending that to the recipient as a single email attatchment using either a bitmap or jpeg file format for instance.
Something such as an airline booking may be designed with a print option, possibly it could be worthwile looking at sending the print file itself as an email attachment. -

Bridge CS6 crashing after a "Select All" command.
Hello all-
I'm running Lion 10.7.4 on a 2008 MacBook Pro Unibody w/ a 2.4GHz processor and 8GB of ram. I have an SSD as my boot drive, it also houses all of my applications. All of my data / app data is stored on another 2.5 HDD that's in my optical bay (I installed a "data doubler").
I wasn't running any Adobe products on my old setup, so I recently purchased Adobe CS6. I haven't run into any issues with any other program besides Bridge. The application opens and functions fine, it's only after I Command+A a selection of files... that I get a "The Operation Could Not Be Completed" error message. When I Command + A or drag my cursor over all of the files to select them, the program comes to a standstill and beachballs before giving me the message. After closing the error message dialogue box I can continue working, but sometimes Bridge can become completely unresponsive as far as opening folders or displaying thumbnails. Then I have to force quit the application because normal quit commands don't work.
I've noticed that this is ONLY happening with .MOV files that I shot on my DSLR that are stored on an external HD. I've been able to Select All on other files on and off the external HD just fine. It's really a strange little problem! It has to have something to do with the DSLR files. I've also realized that I could select a portion of the problematic files without getting an error message, a total of 8 to be specific.
I'm sorry if this has been answered somewhere, but a quick search through the forums proved fruitless. I'd appreciate any kind of feedback.In Windows machine it could be the page file size, not sure what that would be in a Mac.
That probably would be page in and out and Used Swap. You will find that info when opening Activity Monitor from the utilities folder.
usually the used Swap will increase after quitting PS and also Bridge can consume a lot.
Be sure to first let the cache finish properly on the external disk, if possible use export cache to folder option in the preferences, might help also.
And ditto for me, no experience with system divided in two disks but it seems possible. Don't know what you mean with data doubler, if you have preferences, caches and library on two disk this might conflict or at least it can be tricky. -

I don't believe there is a keyboard shortcut available for that feature. But I believe if you click-select the topmost chapter, and Shift-click the bottommost chapter, it should select them all.
Other shortcuts for books can be set up in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts in the Panel Menus product area. There are no default shortcuts in that area. -

And i can not remove the APPENDING CORRESPONDING. because i have to append the data after fetching from the tables. if i will not use it will delete all the data fetched earlier.

When anyone sends me a Word document via email as an attachment and I attempt to print it out, my printer always spits out a blank page. All Word documents seem to arrive using Times New Roman font. I must then return to the document, select all, reassign a different font, and it then prints okay. How can I fix this? It appears that Times New Roman font is part of my Font Book, and each version of the font (Italic, etc.) appears there in duplicate.

Open the Font Book again, select the Times New Roman font set.
You'll see the duplicate warning. Select the fonts and go up to the EDIT menu,
and go down to RESOLVE DUPLICATES.
You might check for other duplicates while you're there, and resolve them.
RESTART your Mac to have the changes take effect.
Then try your docs again.

have a question I do not use mail in my computer I use yahoo and I have all these emails and selected all and then delete then delete trash and they always come back how do I stop these old email in apple mail? I never send anything from there but I have the same email in yahoo but delete them and they still show up in apple mail from day one how do I get rid of these once and for all.Please help
