SELECT not in request

Question

Has anyone seen this before? The SELECT object does not come back in the request if I give it a "size". It works ok if I omit size:

You could use JavaScript to select the first item in the list if you want to make it more explicit. Just run the script in your onLoad handler, and you'll always be assured that SOMETHING is selected.
