Select-Options Processing

Hi All,
I have a Select-Option: SF_KOSTL for CSKS-KOSTL.
I have a ZTable with two fields:
Username and KOSTL.
I need to determine if an entry Exists for Every SF_KOSTL (in the Select-option ) in the ZTable for username SY-UNAME.
IF there is one particular KOSTL, that doesn't have an entry in Ztable, I should ignore that from the SF_KOSTL Select-Options which is used in several other select statements.
How to overcome this.

Oh ok. I see what you need to do now. Try something like this. Here you are getting all of the kostl in your range and looping at the internal table and checking against your ztable.
report zrich_0001 .

select-options: s_kostl for icsks-kostl.
at selection-screen.
clear icsks. refresh icsks.
select * into table icsks from csks
                where kostl in s_kostl.

I am using transaction J1INUT utilization of provision of TDS on Services for which in have made the provision with the help of J1INPR, But when I am executing J1INUT transaction .The following error message is displaying:
No data exist for processing with the given selection options
I have followed the below steps.
1) ME21N - OP Creation
2) ML81N - Service Entry
3) J1INPR - Provision of TDS
4) MIRO - Invoice Posting
I have checked the Table J_1IEWTPROV In that system is updating the table also. Even I have activated table TRWCA for field IND
But still I am getting the same error. Any suggestions to resolve this.

Date Processing for Select-Option

Dear forumers,
I have a select-option element that takes in a range of PO Date.
The SELECT statement is as follows:-
select ebeln
       bedat
       ekorg
       ekgrp
       bukrs
from ekko
into corresponding fields of table gt_ekko
where bedat in s_p_date and   " s_p_date is a select-option for bedat
      ekorg in s_p_org and
      ekgrp in s_p_grp.
If valid low and high dates are inputted here, then there will be data correctly retrieved into the internal table gt_ekko.
However, if the low and high dates are equal, then there will be no data retrieved into the internal table gt_ekko at all.
How can I correct this? Please help. Thanks.
Additionally, is there an easier way to display this PO date (results) in an ALV list as the dd.mm.yyyy format instead of the yyyymmdd format?

DYNP_VALUES_READ Limitations for multiple lines select options

Hi all !
   First post here, but a tough one I think. Here is my inquiry :
   I have worked on an specific abap function used in many long abap list reports. Theses reports are launched in background processing. The aim of this routine is to stop the report execution if a background job with the same selection parameters is already launched for the current user (to Prevent useless several launch of a time-expensive program).
    Because this routine is dynamic, I read the selection screen of the current report with the function 'DYNP_VALUES_READ'. And I compare the result with the variant of the backgroung job (read with function 'RS_VARIANT_CONTENTS').
    The real problem is that function "DYNP_VALUES_READ" only extract the first line of select-options. I found an alternative solution to extract the select options values (a dynamic assign with field symbols), but external conversions (for WBS elements for example ) are lost, so the comparison detects differences between the background job's variant values and the current selection screen values.
    Does anybody know a way to get entire select options values from a selection screen just as they are displayed on screen ?

Perhaps the following code will help you. A function module in the code captures everything on the selection screen into an internal table. It doesn't actually capture the information the way you want it, but I believe you will be able to work with it to achieve your desired result. If it doesn't meet your needs, it is still useful for printing selection screen fields and their values.

Import and Export Parameters
When an input help is called, the entries that the user already made in the input template are taken into consideration. For example, if a user calls the input help for the flight number and already specified the carrier, of course only the numbers of flights of this carrier should be offered.
On the other hand, if the user selects one row of the hit list, more than one field of the input template might have to be filled with data from the selected row of the hit list. For example, if the flight number is obtained from the hit list, the city of departure and the destination should also be returned in the screen template.
The interface of a search help defines the context data that can be used in the input help and the data that can be returned in the input template.
A parameter of a search help can be classified as:
Import parameters: Parameters with which context information from the processed input template (screen) may be copied to the help process.
Export parameters: Parameters with which values from the hit list may be returned to the input template.
A parameter can simultaneously be an input and an export parameter. A search help can also contain parameters that are neither import nor export parameters. Such parameters could be required for the internal input help process, for example.
When you attach a search help, you must define where the import parameters of the search help get their values from and the fields in which the contents of the export parameters are returned. See also Value Transport for Input Helps.

How to retrieve data using logical database and custom select options

I have a selection screen which is displayed by logical database PSJ and I have two select options of my own. I need to retrieve data based on both selection screen of logical database and my own select options. How can I do it?

Interaction between database program and report:
During program processing, subroutines are performed in the database program and events are executed in the report.
To read data from a database tables we use logical database.
A logical database provides read-only access to a group of related tables to an ABAP/4 program.
advantages:-
The programmer need not worry about the primary key for each table.Because Logical database knows how the different tables relate to each other,and can issue the SELECT command with proper where clause to retrieve the data.

Select-options in module pool. Please respond quickly

I have created a program by following example in SDN ( which contains select options), I have called in the PBO and PAI, Select options which is in the subscreen area appears, but when I am giving some values into the select options
Say 10 to 20. now when I enter debug mode I was unable to catch the values entered in the subscreen area. Please let me know how to catch the values.
example.

Please let me know how to catch the variables which I have given in the screen.

Thanks for all the support friends,
after a long standing debug I was not able to find the s_matkl-low or s_matkl-high.
Here is the workaround I tried and it worked.
1. In call subscreen statement double click on the screen number .i.e. '0101'
2. now you will see another dynamic flowlogic opens for the screen.
3. go to attributes and then go to special attributes.
4. now against s_matkl-low and s-matkl-high check the Set Parameter ID, give P1 and P2 against each other save and activate it.
5. declare 2 variables plow and phigh of type matkl.
6. Now in the PAI user-command after calling the subscreen statement.
7. write:
   GET PARAMETER ID 'P1' FIELD PLOW.
   GET PARAMETER ID 'P2' FIELD PHIGH.
8. now we have the values entered in the select-options into plow and phigh

Select-options in WEB UI View on SAP CRM7

Hello,
I wanted to know how to make a u2018select-optionu2019 on a view in Web UI on CRM7.
Is there a standard BSP application that I can use in component usage for this?
I need to have show only one value but for one field I may have several values filled like a multivalues in select-options as in Transaction SE16.
I can't use an advanced search page because for some criteria I can have more 100 different values.

In my process I can't use a ADVANCED SEARCH PAGE for these reason :
- the display of fields depends on a value selected from a dropdown list on a first view
- Some fields can contain multiple values (value list) not a range value like Between, but i can't show all theses values in a view like in an ADVANCED SEARCH PAGE
I need to know if exist a standard BSP application that can used in USAGE COMPONENT for my specific BSP application like a Popup to put several values and associate this value list to a field of my specific view.

I have a problem where in i want to use select options in modullar programming.....
and one more thing that when ever i am using an EXECUTE button which has been defined manually by me..
the report show the output but wen i am coming back to the screen and again i am using EXECUTE butto
the value are repeated..

Best option is to go for a report program
If still you need to go for module pool there is one solution.
1. Define a subscreen on ur screen.
2. Define The screen as we do in report program but with addition 'AS SUBSCREEN' .
3.call the subscreen in ur flow logic of main screen.
Following code may help.
define this in ur top include.
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 200 AS SUBSCREEN.
SELECT-OPTIONS:
s_vkorg1 FOR zadvhead-vkorg NO-EXTENSION NO INTERVALS,
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 200.
in screen flow logic
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
CALL SUBSCREEN subscr_is1 INCLUDING sy-repid dynnr_is1.
"dynnr_is1 = 0200 & subscr_is1 = subscreen area name
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.

Definitely you can use select-options in dialog programming.
You can do this using Subscreen.
define this scubscreen in top include.
selection-screen : begin of screen 100 as subscreen.
select-option : kunnr for kna1-kunnr.
selection-screen : end of screen 100.
in screen 200 where this selection screen appears, create a subscreen area 'SSA'.
Process on output. "200 screen.
call subscreen SSA including sy-repid '100'.
other modules
Process on input. "200 screen.
call subscreen SSA.
other modules
now you can access kunnr like other screen 200 objects.

here u have to design a subscreen area SUB_1010 in the screen painter, there is a option given there for that.
and also in the flow logic of screen 0100 you have to call the subscreen SUB_1010 both in PBO and PAI like :

I am trying to define a select-option at Module Pool level.
In the program
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 1010 AS SUBSCREEN.
SELECT-OPTIONS: V_BWTAR FOR MSEG-BWTAR.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 1010.
In the Screen flow logic it is as follows
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE STATUS_0600.
CALL SUBSCREEN sub_1010 INCLUDING sy-repid '1010'.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
CALL SUBSCREEN sub_1010.
MODULE USER_COMMAND_0600.
At SE51 it is showing an error
"Include block not specified,not defined or spelt incorrectly.".
Please let me know how to correct this.

I am having the same issue. there is not possible to create a subscreen by se51 since I already define the subscreen by selection-screen begin of screen *** as subscreen.
