'select' rights to a table

Hi all,
I have a 10.2.0.4 database that also contains HR/Payroll information. Is there a sql that could help me find who has read rights to a particular table (including both direct grant or through a role)
Thanks,
Edited by: DBA115102 on Mar 30, 2011 9:13 PM

Thank you all for your suggestions but what I am looking for is something like this:
Current scenario:
1. Table name e.g. hrtable
2. Users have direct select rights on it: user1, user2, user3
3. Role having select right to it: role_a
4. Another user - user4 having role role_a
So the output of the sql that I am looking for should tell me that user1, user2, user3, user4 have select rights to hrtable
The idea is to find out anyone who might have select rights to a table whether through direct select grants or through a role.
Thanks,

  • ADF master-detail master selection not updating detail tables properly

    Hi All,
    I am using JDev version : 11.1.2.0.0
    I created new Fusion Web Application Module. In that module I created a master-detail data model and added them to a page fragment with a query panel. When I run it as a separate module, It works perfectly and Master selection correctly updates detail tables.
    But when I integrate that module to another Fusion Application(Add application jar file to the Master Application libraries), Master-details master selection not updating detail tables properly. This problem occurred sequentially.
    The problem is that.
    After the page load, first selection of the Master Table works correctly and detail tables update correctly.
    But second selection doesn't work, means detail table doesn't get update according to the Master table.
    And again in the third selection works correctly.
    This happens in a sequential manner. I monitor the behavior using Firebug. Observations are as follows,
    When running correctly, Response of the Post Definition is

    I could not figure out what went wrong when integrating to another module.
    Can you please help me to rectify this problem.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    sound to be an implementation specific issue that is hard to comment on without knowing how to reproduce it. If you have a rerooducible test case based on the Oracle HR schema using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6, zip it up, rename the "zip "extension to "unzip" and sent it to the mail address you find in my OTN profile. If you don't have that test case, explain how this can be reproduced

  • Copy selected values from a table control into another table control

    hi there,
    as seen in the subject i need to copy selected values from a table control into another table control in the same screen. as i dont know much about table controls i made 2 table controls with the wizard and started to change the code... right now im totally messed up. nothing works anymore and i don't know where to start over.
    i looked up the forums and google, but there is nothing to help me with this problem (or i suck in searching the internet for solutions)
    i have 2 buttons. one to push the selected data from the top table control into the bottom tc and the other button is to push selected data from the bottom tc into the top tc. does somebody has a sample code to do this?

    you're funny
    i still don't get it... can't believe, there is no tutorial or sample code around how to copy multiple selected rows from a tc.
    here's my code, maybe you can tell me exactly were i have to change it:

    tc2 = lower table control

  • To get a set of values just before a 'selected' row in a table

    Hello all,
    Apologies if my question/ title sounds kind of vague.
    But, let me go ahead and explain my proposed logic.
    I have a table( in an FM ), from which I have to find whether there is a particular row with a  value 123.
    I do a "READ TABLE sthg WITH KEY colname = '123' and zero in on that row.
    And, if sy-subrc = 0, I would like to find out copy all 5 rows in this column which are "just" above this 123.
    If I do a MOVE ... TO...... ( How will it know that I need to move just 5 rows? )
    Example:
    100
    200
    300
    400
    500
    600
    123
    700
    800.
    Now, I have found "123" using READ table. I would want the values of 200 to 600, so I can copy this into another internal table. (NOT "100" value, just 200 to 600" ).
    Is there some sort of logic I could use here so it moves only "5" values just above the key?
    Many thanks.

    Hi Alice !
    You need to read a table only having values between "200" and "600" right?!
    Here one example:
    DATA: ti_ndoc1 TYPE SORTED TABLE OF j_1bnfdoc WITH UNIQUE KEY docnum,
              ti_ndoc2 TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF j_1bnfdoc,
              wa_ndoc1 TYPE j_1bnfdoc.
    SELECT *
       FROM j_1bnfdoc
       INTO TABLE ti_ndoc1
       UP TO 10 ROWS.
    LOOP AT ti_ndoc1 INTO wa_ndoc1 WHERE docnum BETWEEN '5' AND '9'.
       APPEND wa_ndoc1 TO ti_ndoc2.
    ENDLOOP.

  • Copy selected lines in the table control

    Hi friends,
    I Have a screen 200 in which i have a button COPY and table control.
    In my table control i have 6 lines of data.
    now my requirement is when i select any lines  ie :  let us say i ahve selected 1 , 3 , 5 lines of my table control and when i click on the button COPY of that screen. i need those 3 selected lines 1 , 3 , 5 to be copied again in the table control
    example  :
    line 1         selected
    line2
    line3          selected
    line4
    line5          selected .
    line6
    now my table control should be
    line1
    line2
    line3
    line4
    line5
    line6
    line1
    line3
    line5
    How can i do that
    Regards

    As you can see everything is the same but on column LX_HRS, the first example one is not doing anything addition but on the second example is now doing addition.  This additions were done manually, how can I tell crystal to add each line, in the example above, the

  • How to pass multiple selected values of a table to RFC

    Hi all,
    My scenerio is that user selects multiple rows and click a button. i want to pass a unique id of the row to rfc.
    means there are userid is unique in the table.
    i want to paas the userids of all the selected rows to rfc.
    Can any one help me to implement that??
    regards
    Anoop

    Hi
    In the context view the properties of the model node for which you have to pass the table data.
    In the properties you will find a property called Structure from where you can get the structure name..in my example scenario the structre name is
    Zdp_Str_Shopping_Cart
    After adding all the datas to the model node, finally add that instance to the root node....
    You want to pass only the selected data in the table right, for that refer the looping concept suggested by of Ayyapparaj KV
    Zdp_Str_Shopping_Cart shoppingCart;
    for(int i=0;i<wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().size();i++)
                   shoppingCart = new Zdp_Str_Shopping_Cart();
                   shoppingCart.setEquipment_No(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getEquipment_No());
                   shoppingCart.setIbase(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getIbase());
                   shoppingCart.setKbetr(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getKbetr());
                   shoppingCart.setMaktx(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getMaktx());
                   shoppingCart.setMatnr(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getMatnr());
                   shoppingCart.setQuantity(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getQuantity());
                   shoppingCart.setSerial_No(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getSerial_No());
                   shoppingCart.setUnit(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getUnit());
                   shoppingCart.setUnit_Of_Wt(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getUnit_Of_Wt());
                   shoppingCart.setWaers(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getWaers());
                   shoppingCart.setWeight(wdContext.nodeChnIt_Shopping_Cart().getChnIt_Shopping_CartElementAt(i).getWeight());
                   createProductOrder.addIt_Shopping_Cart(shoppingCart);

  • [Urgent] Issue with Selected rows in Advanced table

    [I have searched archive and found lots of mails on same issue but none were conclusive so i am asking this again]
    Hi All,
    I have created an advanced table and i want to have functionality of deleting selected rows.
    For implementation of this functionality, i have created a selectflag transient attribute [varchar2] and linked it to multiple select item of Advanced table but the table always returns null for selectflag attribute irrespective of row being selected or not.
    One thing i have noticed is that i can't supply 'checked value' and 'unchecked value' property in advanced table multiple select item. Is that the issue?
    Can anybody please guide, its quite urgent.
    Regards
    Lokesh

    Hi Reetesh,
    Thanks for the reply.
    Yes, you are right i am using same AM at 2 different places.
    Let me just elaborate a little about my implementation:
    I have a Page layout region and within this page layout, i have a query bean which performs results based search.
    Within this query bean, i have added an Advanced table within that query bean to display the results.
    Now coming to multiple AM issue:
    1. Page Layout region must have one AM or its an error.
    2. If i donot add an AM to advanced table, it doesn't return rows.
    So do i need to have 2 diferent AM's for this implementation?
    Regards
    Lokesh

  • Select in an internal table

    I realize that you can't do a select on an internal table but I need to do something identical to that.  I need to replicate the following code:
    SELECT * FROM it_detail INTO it_temp WHERE matnr = wa_detail-matnr.
    it_detail is of type ty_detail which joins field from three different tables.  Right now it_detail holds information about many different material numbers with all material numbers being repeated.  I am attempting to fill it_temp with all entries from it_detail that has the same material type.  I did a search but I couldn't find anything that seemed to work in this situation.
    Regards,
    Davis.

    You must READ it, or LOOP at it.
    Loop at it_detail into wa_detail where matnr = p_matnr.
        move-corresponding wa_detail to wa_temp.
        append wa_temp t0 it_temp.
    endloop.

  • How to assign tasks in Approval Workflow to a set of users selected from a Lookup table

    Hi all,
    I am new to Project Server and I am using Project Server 2013 On premises deployement. Please help me on how to achieve the below scenario:
    I have a requirement where, the initial PDP will have 2 fields (Reviewers and Approvers), wherein the engineer himself will select who the reviewer and approver from the Lookup tables.
    Now I have to start task process with these selected people for approval.
    Say for example , engineer has selected Alice and Bob as 2 reviewers, then
    In the workflow I have :
                 Start Task process with
    Project Data: Reviewers (which is giving error as
    [System.ArgumentException: AssignedTo at Microsoft.Activities.Hosting.Runtime.Subroutine.SubroutineChild.Execute(CodeActivityContext context) at System.Activities.CodeActivity.InternalExecute(ActivityInstance instance, ActivityExecutor executor, BookmarkManager
    bookmarkManager) at System.Activities.Runtime.ActivityExecutor.ExecuteActivityWorkItem.ExecuteBody(ActivityExecutor executor, BookmarkManager bookmarkManager, Location resultLocation) ]
    Then I tried logging the value of Project Data: Reviewers, It logged the value as Alice, Bob (which looks pretty good),
    Then I tried assigning only 1 person as Reviewer, then also I get the same error.
    So can anybody please tell me where I went wrong. Is it not possible to fetch the data from the values selected as Project Data from the Lookup tables ? If not then what is the workaround I can use to achieve this ?
    Thanks,
    Shanky

    Hi Paul,
    Yes I am using SP designer for Workflows. And yes, You were right, there was a mismatch in the names of AD account and the Lookup table, now with 1 person selected from the lookup table it is assigning the task properly. However with multiple selection,
    it is failing.
    As Robert mentioned, the fetched value is a text as "Alice, Bob", which makes 2 usernames as a single text. So when I try to assign a task to this group, which returns value as "Alice, Bob", workflow fails to find such AD user, as it
    is an invalid value.
    So is there any way I can seperate this out to form 2 different username ? I checked for string extraction function in th Workflow, but nothing helped me for this scenario.
    Any input will be helpful.
    Thanks,
    Shanky

  • How to select multiple row of table using check box?

    hi,
             i am having table on view having first field as checkbox. what i want, when i click on checkboxes in multiple rows, and i click on any button i need to use those content to next view...
              my problem is if i select only one row , i can use onlead select property of table..but when i select multiple rows  through check box how should i read contents of table....?
    Plz solve it.
    Thanks,
    Saurin Shah

    Hello Saurin,
    You are right using LeadSelection you can select only 1 row at a time. You will have to make use of Selection for achieving this. First you will have to change the selection mode of the table to multiple & also change the selection property for the related context to 0..n . Please find a code extract which might help you. (However this facility is only available from SP 14.) The main part is using the set_selected method of if_wd_context_node.
    data: node_zcourse_details type ref to if_wd_context_node,
             node_course_assign type ref to if_wd_context_node,
             elem_course_assign type ref to if_wd_context_element,
             stru_course_assign type if_v_details=>element_course_assign ,
             item_popin_selected like stru_course_assign-popin_selected.
    "     navigate from <CONTEXT> to <ZCOURSE_DETAILS> via lead selection
    node_zcourse_details = wd_context->get_child_node( name = if_v_details=>wdctx_zcourse_details ).
    "     navigate from <ZCOURSE_DETAILS> to <COURSE_ASSIGN> via lead selection
    node_course_assign = node_zcourse_details->get_child_node( name = if_v_details=>wdctx_course_assign ).
    "     @TODO handle not set lead selection
    if ( node_course_assign is initial ).
    exit.
    endif.
    data elem_set type wdr_context_element_set.
    field-symbols <wa_elem> like line of elem_set.
    elem_set = node_course_assign->get_elements( ).
    loop at elem_set assigning <wa_elem>.
       <wa_elem>->set_selected( TRUE OR FALSE ). " Supply either TRUE/FALSE in here
    endloop.

    cont_cat_fold_pk( IS COMMON FIELD IN TABLE 2 AND 3)
    HOW CAN I WRITE SELECT STATEMENT
    Thanking u
    suneel.

    Hi
    Join the two tables
    CUST_CONT  and CONT_FOLD_*** with cust_cont_pk  field and
    CONT_CAT_FOLD and CONT_FOLD_*** with cont_cat_fold_pk field
    see the doc
    Joins are used to fetch data fast from Database tables:
    Tables are joined with the proper key fields to fetch the data properly.
    If there are no proper key fields between tables don't use Joins;
    Important thing is that don't USE JOINS FOR CLUSTER tableslike BSEG and KONV.
    Only use for Transparenmt tables.
    You can also use joins for the database VIews to fetch the data.
    JOINS
    ... FROM tabref1 [INNER] JOIN tabref2 ON cond
    Effect
    The data is to be selected from transparent database tables and/or views determined by tabref1 and tabref2. tabref1 and tabref2 each have the same form as in variant 1 or are themselves Join expressions. The keyword INNER does not have to be specified. The database tables or views determined by tabref1 and tabref2 must be recognized by the ABAP Dictionary.
    In a relational data structure, it is quite normal for data that belongs together to be split up across several tables to help the process of standardization (see relational databases). To regroup this information into a database query, you can link tables using the join command. This formulates conditions for the columns in the tables involved. The inner join contains all combinations of lines from the database table determined by tabref1 with lines from the table determined by tabref2, whose values together meet the logical condition (join condition) specified using ON>cond.
    Inner join between table 1 and table 2, where column D in both tables in the join condition is set the same:

    Example
    Output a list of all flights from Frankfurt to New York between September 10th and 20th, 2001 that are not sold out:
    DATA: DATE LIKE SFLIGHT-FLDATE,
    CARRID LIKE SFLIGHT-CARRID,
    CONNID LIKE SFLIGHT-CONNID.
    SELECT FCARRID FCONNID F~FLDATE
    INTO (CARRID, CONNID, DATE)
    FROM SFLIGHT AS F INNER JOIN SPFLI AS P
    ON FCARRID = PCARRID AND
    FCONNID = PCONNID
    WHERE P~CITYFROM = 'FRANKFURT'
    AND P~CITYTO = 'NEW YORK'
    AND F~FLDATE BETWEEN '20010910' AND '20010920'
    AND FSEATSOCC < FSEATSMAX.
    WRITE: / DATE, CARRID, CONNID.
    ENDSELECT.
    If there are columns with the same name in both tables, you must distinguish between them by prefixing the field descriptor with the table name or a table alias.
    Note
    In order to determine the result of a SELECT command where the FROM clause contains a join, the database system first creates a temporary table containing the lines that meet the ON condition. The WHERE condition is then applied to the temporary table. It does not matter in an inner join whether the condition is in the ON or WHEREclause. The following example returns the same solution as the previous one.
    Example
    Output of a list of all flights from Frankfurt to New York between September 10th and 20th, 2001 that are not sold out:
    DATA: DATE LIKE SFLIGHT-FLDATE,
    CARRID LIKE SFLIGHT-CARRID,
    CONNID LIKE SFLIGHT-CONNID.
    SELECT FCARRID FCONNID F~FLDATE
    INTO (CARRID, CONNID, DATE)
    FROM SFLIGHT AS F INNER JOIN SPFLI AS P
    ON FCARRID = PCARRID
    WHERE FCONNID = PCONNID
    AND P~CITYFROM = 'FRANKFURT'
    AND P~CITYTO = 'NEW YORK'
    AND F~FLDATE BETWEEN '20010910' AND '20010920'
    AND FSEATSOCC < FSEATSMAX.
    WRITE: / DATE, CARRID, CONNID.
    ENDSELECT.
    Note
    Since not all of the database systems supported by SAP use the standard syntax for ON conditions, the syntax has been restricted. It only allows those joins that produce the same results on all of the supported database systems:
    Only a table or view may appear to the right of the JOIN operator, not another join expression.
    Only AND is possible in the ON condition as a logical operator.
    Each comparison in the ON condition must contain a field from the right-hand table.
    If an outer join occurs in the FROM clause, all the ON conditions must contain at least one "real" JOIN condition (a condition that contains a field from tabref1 amd a field from tabref2.
    Note
    In some cases, '*' may be specified in the SELECT clause, and an internal table or work area is entered into the INTO clause (instead of a list of fields). If so, the fields are written to the target area from left to right in the order in which the tables appear in the FROM clause, according to the structure of each table work area. There can then be gaps between table work areas if you use an Alignment Request. For this reason, you should define the target work area with reference to the types of the database tables, not simply by counting the total number of fields. For an example, see below:
    Variant 3
    ... FROM tabref1 LEFT [OUTER] JOIN tabref2 ON cond
    Effect
    Selects the data from the transparent database tables and/or views specified in tabref1 and tabref2. tabref1 und tabref2 both have either the same form as in variant 1 or are themselves join expressions. The keyword OUTER can be omitted. The database tables or views specified in tabref1 and tabref2 must be recognized by the ABAP-Dictionary.
    In order to determine the result of a SELECT command where the FROM clause contains a left outer join, the database system creates a temporary table containing the lines that meet the ON condition. The remaining fields from the left-hand table (tabref1) are then added to this table, and their corresponding fields from the right-hand table are filled with ZERO values. The system then applies the WHERE condition to the table.

    If there are columns with the same name in both tables, you must distinguish between them by prefixing the field descriptor with the table name or using an alias.
    Note
    For the resulting set of a SELECT command with a left outer join in the FROM clause, it is generally of crucial importance whether a logical condition is in the ON or WHERE condition. Since not all of the database systems supported by SAP themselves support the standard syntax and semantics of the left outer join, the syntax has been restricted to those cases that return the same solution in all database systems:
    Only a table or view may come after the JOIN operator, not another join statement.
    The only logical operator allowed in the ON condition is AND.
    Each comparison in the ON condition must contain a field from the right-hand table.
    Comparisons in the WHERE condition must not contain a field from the right-hand table.
    The ON condition must contain at least one "real" JOIN condition (a condition in which a field from tabref1 as well as from tabref2 occurs).
    Note
    In some cases, '*' may be specivied as the field list in the SELECT clause, and an internal table or work area is entered in the INTO clause (instead of a list of fields). If so, the fields are written to the target area from left to right in the order in which the tables appear in the llen in der FROM clause, according to the structure of each table work area. There can be gaps between the table work areas if you use an Alignment Request. For this reason, you should define the target work area with reference to the types of the database tables, as in the following example (not simply by counting the total number of fields).
    Example
    Example of a JOIN with more than two tables: Select all flights from Frankfurt to New York between September 10th and 20th, 2001 where there are available places, and display the name of the airline.
    DATA: BEGIN OF WA,
    FLIGHT TYPE SFLIGHT,
    PFLI TYPE SPFLI,
    CARR TYPE SCARR,
    END OF WA.

  • Can I select element number from table collection expression?

    First of all, I would like to thank you all for your replies. I really appreciate your help.
    The problem I'm trying to solve is more complicated than what I have shown so far. Right now I'm trying to decompose the problem into smaller problems. Maybe I should show you the full problem and hope that I still get a reply.
    I have a spatial column with collections of geometries (SDO_GTYPE 2004) and I have a VARRAY column of objects. For each row, each geometry in the geometry collection has some information in one element in the VARRAY. So I have this table

    -- ...I need a flat version of the original table, if you will. My original plan was to convert the VARRAY values to rows and extract the geometries into rows. Then join both using their ROWNUMs. But this does not work as i need numbers that start at 1 for each ID and I'm not sure if ROWNUM will give me the right order. Hence my question for consecutive element numbers. I have no idea how to do it with SQL. I'm working on a PL/SQL solution right now. Sample code follows. Sorry for the length of this post.

  • Formating page select in a Pivot Table

    We have a Pivot Table view that has 12 columns, so it is a bit large (more or less like 2 screens wide).
    The Page select is displayed in the middle of screen so the user doesn´t see it right away... he has to roll the screen and then see/select it...
    Pls...is there a way to format the Page select in the Pivot table to the left ?
    txs.

    Hi,
    A pivot table view of this data would look something like this by default:
    Now switch back to the criteria tab and edit the ‘column properties’ associated with your fact measure. Choose the ‘Data Format’ tab, tick to override the default format and choose ‘Custom’.
    It seems that the syntax for this custom format is positive-value-mask (semi colon) negative-value-mask (semi colon) null-mask. So this means we have a few options.
    E.g. if you want zeros (0) instead of null then enter:
    *#,##0;-#,##0;0*
    If you want a dash/strike (-) then you could enter:
    #,##0;-#,##0;-
    Or if you want to add a custom message then something like this would work:
    #,##0;-#,##0;no data

    if it's not working above method use BIN in report

  • Grant select only to all tables in certain schemas

    need to create an oracle database user with 'select only' right to all tables in schema OM + OE ( Order Management), Inventory(INV) and AR ( Account Receivables)

    apart from above suggestion dont forget to use to accomodate other schemas OM + OE ( Order Management), Inventory(INV) and AR ( Account Receivables);
    where a.owner in ('OM','OE','AR','INV');

  • Grant select right?

    Dear all,
    How can I know who has been grant the select right on specific schema object?
    For example: I have a schema named as "APPS" and lots of objects under this schema. I have a user named as "ABC". I would like to know how many objects have been granted select right to user "ABC"
