Selection issues in document

Seem to have problems selecting item - now if I double click Fireworks no longer will allow me to adit text.
I have to select, then highlight with the text tool.
Zoom down with alt key & mouse only drops one scale - has anyone else had this problem???

This is a known issue, however we have not been able to reproduce it internally. The way to fix it (assuming it's the same problem) is to change your workspace (such as resetting to a default shipping layout, and then modifying from there), as it seems as though something about the workspace is causing the problem. It could be very specific to where its layed out on your monitor(s), some exact pixel size of a panel and/or grouping - and so on. However, we haven't been able to reproduce this internally yet - only reproed and fixed similar problems - so I cannot say for sure, however changing the workspace has fixed it for the other users I've talked to seeing this one.
If you are able to share the following about one or both of your computers and send it to jdh (at) adobe, greatly appreciated:
* workspace XML file from the Configuration directory (before changing the workspace!)
* description monitor layout (ie: primary on left, secondary on right... or "one" )
* monitor resolution(s)
* screenshot(s) of your layout exhibiting the problem

I have to select the billing documents VBELN using the billing date and billing type.
As both are not key fields , im unable to perform such select .

HI,
if u will use date in the select query it will decrease the performance of your program as there isno secodnary index on the date field
so it wud be better if you can select the data using just billing type and then once all the records in the internal table
using delte statement to delte all the records that are out of the date range,
this wont affect the performance of your system and the query will take less time to fetch the data,deletion takes onlyfew miliseconds to clear unwanted data

Printing a selection from a document using HP E Print

Is it possible to print a selection from a document using e-Print? I currently can emailt he entire document to my printer however that is it.

Thank you for being a member of the HP Support Community. I see that you would like to learn how to choose which pages print from a multi-page document.
Since you have the document in an email already it’s fairly easy to choose which pages you would like to print if you are using the HP ePrint app. I’m presuming that you have already download the HP ePrint mobile app to your iPad and added your email account to the app.
Please follow these steps after you have opened the HP ePrint app
Choose the email with the document you need to print.
Please choose the document you want to print (for my screen shot the file is titled “scan 2014_05_29 08-55-01.pdf). This will load the document with the available print options.
Please tap on “Page Range”. It will give you the options of ‘Single’ or ‘Multiple’.
If you are choosing to print just one page please choose ‘Single’ and then choose the page you would like to print.
If you are choosing to print a range of pages please choose ‘Multiple’ and then choose the page range you would like to print.
I hope this helps you print just want you need.

Withholding Tax on Advance paid having issues with Document splitting

Dear Experts
Our client deducts TDS on the Advance amount paid and on posting of Invoices from the Vendors. The documents are posted with withholding Tax types configured for these purpose in F-48 and FB60 respectively. Document splitting has been activated in the system with all required configuration.
The problem arises when we try to clear the advance amount against the Invoice along with the balance payment in F-53 if the invoice has more than one expense line posted to different Cost Centers in FB60. The system gives an error message " Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 004 not filled ". Please follow the example given below for better understanding.
Advance posting:
vendor a/c....dr (Profit center 3)
To bank Clearing (Profit center 3)
To TDS on payment
Invoice:
Expense ....dr (Cost Center1 / profit Center 1)
Expense ....dr (Cost Center 2 / Profit Center 2)
To vendor a/c
To TDS on Invoice
Up to here the document splitting works fine with Profit Centers and segments getting displayed in all line items in GL view. The issue comes when we select both the documents in F-53 and try to pay out the balance amount.
Please note the issue does not crop up if we do not populate the withholding tax code while posting the advance entry. The system automatically posts to the relevant profit centers and segments in F-53. But this is not the business scenario.
Please let me know if somebody can throw some light on the above issue.

Resolved at our end by tweaking the splitting rule to match the Business requirement.

Why are some of my pages centering themselves (vertically and horizontally) after I select the "Shrink document to avoid overwriting..." option under Add Headers and Footers?

I'm working in Adobe Acrobat X Pro. I added header and footers through Adobe. I needed to select the "Shrink document to avoid overwriting the document's text and graphics" feature under the "Appearance Options..." option within the "Add Header and Footer" window. Some of the pages in my document that only had a few lines of text on them centered themselves (vertically and horizontally). How can I prevent that from happening?

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. It sounds like there may be some confusion on your system about what application should be associated with PDF files. You can reset filename associations by following the steps in these articles (depending on your operating system):

Can't select "include book documents" when creating index in InDesign CC

I'm trying to make an index for several dokuments in a book. I've made the index but when I try to generate the index the checkbox is greyed out so I can't check it. Do You know what's wrong?

One more question: It looks as if the index does not include the words of all the documents in the book. Is it something I do wrong?

As i understand Your query i positing.
Please check in VA03 the Status Overview of Order for which OBD done(Shift+F5).
Overther you will find the OBD no. as well Goods Issue Doc no (material Doc no) and with this GI no. in MIGO display you will find the Accounting Document.
Tables for OBD is LIKP and MIGO is MSEG. as well MBEW is for Accounting data. as well the Accounting Document will be trace out with FB03 Tcode.

APP-SQLAP-10380: You cannot select this payment document

User did a quick payment. When the check failed to print user voided the check and tried to reprint. Now when the user is trying to reissue the check they are getting the following: APP-SQLAP-10380: You cannot select this payment document because it is in use by another payment batch.
I went through Metalink and found this article: R11i: Quick Payment For EFT Payments Will Not Release The Document To Pay Other Invoices [ID 158828.1]
A query in the metalink article stated that "If this query returns rows then contact oracle support for a data fix."
The query did return rows. However, this is rather urgent and I am unsure as to when Oracle Support will get back to me. I made a Sev 2 SR for this. I was wondering if there was any front end things I could do to clear this payment batch so I could reissue a check?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
You can have multiple currencies in your system. But all the transactions at accounting happen only at company code currency level. You can view report in alternate currency. Please check with your FI consultant He will guide you more on the use of currency. You can have CC currency, Group Currency,etc.

Menu selection issues in Flash CS4 for Mac

I'm having a few menu selection issues in Flash. It seems some fields are de-selecting automatically (and quickly). For instance:
1) When I double-click a layer to change it's name, it highlights then immediately de-selects. I can only rename by right-clicking and bringing up the Properties dialog.
2) Fields highlight briefly then immediately de-select in the Properties menu when using the Tab button to advance or cycle thru fields. I have to click on each field individually to enter dimensions/characters.
Possibly related...
On occasion, I'm having an issue in Photoshop where the tools are off by 30 pixels or so. Examples:
- Paint brush affects an area approximately 30px to the right and down from the brush head.
- Selection tool selects an area approximately 30px to the right and down from the arrow head.
This only happens on occasion and can be fixed by restarting Photoshop. I have not had any luck fixing the problems experienced within Flash.
I'm experiencing this on two different machines that have CS4 installed. My only guess is a conflict with a Logitech driver OR a Wacom driver, but I have uninstalled the software and unplugged the Logitech mouse and Wacom tablet to no avail.
Long time Flash/Photoshop user.... never had a problem like this.
Anyone else have these issues or know a fix?

Datagrid select issue

I am using flex builder 2.01 and have been using datagrids
for a while now. I have recently ran into a weird situation where I
have one datagrid out of three that just will not allow a manual
selection. If I set the index to 0 for instance, the initial view
of the datagrid shows the first item selected. If I go to select a
different item, the first item becomes unselected and no other item
can be selected. If I leave the initial state to be no item
selected, I can never select an item. All other datagrids are
working fine. I have tried to set selectable to true but that
didn't help. This is really odd, any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.

Mmmm... Well the good news is I fixed it. The bad news is I
have no clue why it fixed it. This particular datagrid is in a
different tab in a tabnavigator panel. Attached is the expanded
working code. On the line:

I had a click="{GetPropertyArchive()}" to refresh the data on
tab selection. This was old code that was made unnecessary at a
later date but I did not remove the code. My guess is the datagrid
assumed the characteristics of the parent tabnavigator and instead
of ... wait that can't be right. If that was the case then changing
the datasource would not have fixed the select issue because the
'click' definition on the tabnavigator still existed. I would
really like to understand why this mattered so I could avoid this
issue in the future. Any ideas??

Please select a Numbers document that has one or more named header columns and one or more rows of data.

This IS the same error message I keep getting when I try and create labels. I've done it in the past but this year it won't. I am using the latest update of Pages and numbers.

Thanks for the question. I hadn't explored this previously.
You must first create your data table in a Numbers document and save that document. Use a Header Row and place your data descriptions in that row, with your data below.
Then you create your Pages document with merge fields, but don't format the merge titles yet.
Now, go to the Pages Link Inspector and Select the Numbers document to merge from.
One by one, select your merge location text and add to the Merge Field list in the Inspector, selecting the corresponding descriptor in the Numbers table.
Finally, in Pages, Edit > Mail Merge.
Here's an example:
In the screen shot, the Numbers table is in the background, the Pages merge format document is in the foreground, and the result document is at the mid-plane.

I'm working on a script that will allow me to make a PDF or printout of a selection in InDesign by duplicating the selection to a new document.
I'm having difficulty with the portion of the script that duplicates the selection to a new document.
I'm trying to follow the instructions in the CS5 scripting guide but it's not working.
Here's my code:
