Selection screen changes

can anyone suggest about my problem.
I have check box on the selection screen, if that chech box is checked then one more parameter(Storage location) need to be mandatory, if that check box is unchecked then Storage location parameter should be normal parameter.
i had done this, but the problem is once i check the check box then deselect it immediately, still it is asking for the value(mandatory).

Presently in one of my HR reports I am using 'PCH' LDB.
In the selection screen we have the object ID which is defined in standard program with no-intervals like this.

1. I don't we can directly do as per ur requirement.
2. Bcos No-Intervals cannot be modified using Loop at screen.
3. Another option is to copy the standard Ldb and use it.

Dynamic selection screen change in Selection Screen.

I am not getting dynamic screen change on selection screen. can you give solution for the following scenario.
I have 3 radio buttons on selection screen. Example: R1, R2, R3.
I have 5 fields on selection screen. Example : F1, F2, F3, F4, F5.
When i select radio button 1 i will get F1 field screen only.
When i select radio button 2 or 3 i will get F2 and F3 fields screen only.
When i select radio button 3 i will get F4 and F5 fields screen only.
Any one give me solution for the above scenario very much thankful.

Selection Screen Change & Impact on background scheduled reports

Hi,
I have modified the selection screen of a report program by adding additional selection criteria. This report is background scheduled and runs several times with different variants in a day. I am worried that the background jobs may fail in Production if the latest changes are moved. But I think, background jobs will not fails unless the selection criteria that are part of variants that used in the background jobs not modified. But not sure. I just want to make sure, I am doing correct thing.
Please let me know your thoughts. Appreciate your help!

The size of the block is directly related to the number of fields you defin within. So if you would turn certain ones off during runtime, the height of the box would changed. As for the location, you can't change this.

i have an requirement that
there is a check box in the selection screen and bydefault it has been check if it check the selection box shuld be disable
if it uncheck the check box then selection block should enabled and in that againg two radion buttons are there. Bydefualt one radio button is enabled so that correspondng parameter is allow to enter input data. if i select the othere radio button the immeditely it allow the correpnding field entry and other radio button should be disabled with that field.

i using a selection screen with:
parameters: pstat like edidc-status obligatory.
is it possible to midify the entries in the case the user is performing the F4 help ?
example: i want to show the values beginning with "5*" only (in the F4 help screen)

I have 5 buttons on the application toolbar and on click of each button, i need to populate difference selection parameters.
I have tried modifying the SCREEN table dynamically but maintaining SCREEN table for 5 different action seems very difficult.

My Requirement is: I have a tabbed selection-screen with 3 tabs.
On one of the tabs I have to include a Table control.
Currently I'm displaying Table control as Pop-up . But I want that on the screen itself.

Change selection screen in LDB (KDF logical database - NOT HR)

Hi All,
Iu2019d like to use KDF logical database to keep the dynamic selections since user wants to use it but I need to change the selection screen itself. The existing variants for KDF donu2019t meet the user requirements. Some fields I need to hide some add. Like I want to u201Cremoveu201D the field u2018Posting periodu2019 (MONAT) (which is available in dynamic selection screen) and put it on the u201Cmainu201D selection screen.
Do I need to create my own logical database or there is a way around?
Could someone give me a practical advice or sample of solution?

I did as you suggested but problem is that it does not allow me to hide the whole block.
I have 3 filelds actually on block KD_0 I need to hide (its from selection screen of KDF logical database.)

What I did is below. I used sp instead of u201C=u201D since it has many screen for field KD_LIFNR(for frame, text etc).
And when I did just for KD_LIFNR it was hidden but when I did the same for KD_BUKRS it was not hidden . The field has stars u201C*********u201D in it.
Same happen with KD_INDEX. The name of the field is hidden but field not and it filled with ********. Do you have any ideas what it can be?
I debugged it to catch all screen names but no luck

I checked the [MELT_VARIABLES] in the WAD because Year, Site and Customer are in both queries
Unfortunately, the result in my wad is :

Yes, i know it's possible to change the ordre in Query Designer.
It's why i set the sequence in Query A and Query B as i showed in my initial post.
Unfortunately, it seems than in WAD the sequence is changed.
First, it show the variable that exist in both queries ( in my case : Year, Site and Customer )
then the variable that exist only in query A ( Month, Activity )
then the variable that exist only in query B ( Nothing )
I wish to change this behavior.

How to capture the user change in an input field on a selection screen?

I am coding a selection screen in which there are two input fields. The first field takes a Unix directory from the user input. Based on the input value, the second field will be populated with a the name of a file under the corresponding directory.
My question is how I can make the program capture the user input without having to make the user press ENTER after they enter the value in the first field?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

How to Change the Font Size in Module Pool Selection Screen?

There is a module pool, and I need to change the font size mentioned in the selection screen. Could you plaese tell me, how will I be able to do that?

If you are asking for text field , then check the options avaliable in Display tab of Attributes.

Change of variable text in BEx selection screen

Hi all,
in our BW system the key users are allowed to create queries and also create variables. In some cases, especially for often used info objects like 0DATE the number of variables is increasing very quickly. The reason for this is, that 0DATE is used for a big variety of meanings e.g. delivery date, order date, invoice date etc.
So the users always create new variables only to have a meaningful description in the BEx selection screen, because they do not want only "date" to be displayed here. As result we have many different varianbles with exactly the same technical settings with only different names.
So my question is: Is it possible to change the diplayed text in the selection screen for each query without having to create a new variable?

Changing the diplayed text in the selection screen for each query is not possible.You have to create a new variable for each query.
