Self restarting when keyboard opens - V41.2.010 - ...

My keyboard has problem which is when I want to type q,w,e,...,p it appears only numbers from 1 to 0 and I can type capital letter if I want to type q or w or e ... Etc. And others keys has same problem. (solved)
Another problem is sometime when I open the keyboard my Nokia C6-00 starts by itself, it happened at least twice after the update.
It happened after I updated to version V41.2.010 and the first problem I don't remember when it starts but I think it starts after the update too.

There is no thing like update 41.2.010 for nokia C6-00

  • Why do I get a computer had to restart when I open my Mac.?

I get a page showing (your computer had to restart) when I open my Mac Pro. Why?

That is a kernel panic. It happens when your Mac discovers that things are so wrong inside the Kernel, that continuing is impossible.
A report of the Internal State of the machine is saved in a  log, and can be read back later for analysis. Use this article to find the report. If it makes no sense to you, you can copy and paste it into a reply frame on the forum for readers to analyze.

If finding and looking at the report is beyond your abilities, make a genius Bar appointment and they can do this for you as well. The analysis is free, but the stores are crazy-busy with the new software releases (Yosemite and IOS 8.0.2) so it will be a while before you can get an appointment.

  • Why does my mac air always restart when I open it in our university?

Why does my mac air always restart when I open it in our university?
This has been always bothering me for some time already. Whenever I open my macbook air in our university it always warns me to restart my device. When I do the same thing happens over and over again until it reached 27 reports.

I'd make a sound too if i was put into a bag haha.
Only thing i could think of it it has a mind of its own or your putting your computer to sleep. Try shutting down your mac before placing in your bag and see if that changes things.

  • My 2700c restarts when I open java applications

My 2700c restarts when I open java applications. I can't play game or use opera mini.

    Hi tony1112,
Thank you for your message and welcome to the forums!
Please try these two things to resolve the problem:
Reset your phone to "out of the box" state by dialling *#7370#, followed by your security code (the default code is 12345, unless you have changed it). It's highly recommended to back up your phone with Nokia Suite prior to this, as it will remove all data on your phone. After the reset, restore your phone with Nokia Suite (remember to untick settings) and reinstall the applications from my stuff folder on Nokia Store.
Should this not resolve the issue, reinstall or update your phone software using Nokia Suite by selecting Tools > Software update. If the problem persists visit your local Nokia Care Point and let them have a look.
    Hope this helps,
    Puigchild

  • N95-2 restarting when keyboard is used to start WL...

I have had this issue for a while now, but it was not until today when i figured out how it was happening
Every time I use my Nokia Bluetooth keyboard to start the WLAN wizard my phone restarts.
It works just fine when using the phones navigation buttons, even with the keyboard connected. But if I select the WLAN wiz icon and hit the return key or the selection key , the phone just resets itself
*and don't say, "just use the phones selection key"...lol*

Hi! First I would create a system repair disc. If you still have a problem, restoring back to factory will eliminate software and you can start finding what hardware is causing you this problem. Key Board or Mother Board would be good suspects.

PS Strange that it won't turn on with the power button. Are you holding it down for a couple of seconds?

  • MacBookPro self-restarting when on battery, why?

I was using my mid 2010 13" MacBookpro to take notes at a business seminar.
They had given us a cd so, since I expected it to last 5-6 hrs I decided to close the lid to conserve the battery after I had been taking notes in Pages for a half hour or more. But then all of a sudden I heard the restart chime. I opened it up & it had restarted on it a own. There was an error message saying it had shut down because of a problem.
As I recall, I logged in & opened Pages & immediately saved a file for notes since the previous notes apparently were lost since I had not yet saved them. I had thought that it auto saved even if the document had not been saved. But then I guess it must have again reset on its own a couple of times so I gave up trying to use it.  So I decided to just give up & to shut it down. I 1st tried to shut it down using the button at the bottom of the ML log in screen.
It just restarted, rather than shutting down. So then I logged in & after it came up I shut it down & after it shut down I put it away in the case & set it on the ground by my chair. But then it again restarted & did so multiple times.
I noted that battery power was at 87% at the time of the 1st restart & then about 85% after that restart. After that I was just trying to ignore it & get on w taking notes by hand.
It continued to restart. A number more times. Several hours later I got home. Just walking from the car to my front door I heard the start up 3x in quick succession this while it was in its InCase carrying case w shoulder strap & immediately hooked up to power & logged in. But the bar at the top did not come up, although the one at the bottom was there when I moused over.
So I clicked on finder & eventually located & opened Time Machine. But that went what I wanted so finally about then the top bar came up & I could use the Time Machine icon to tell it to back up now. Got it backed up. Then it was time to go some ace before going to the Genius Bar appt I had set up using the Apple Store app on my iPhone 4S.
They have had it since late Sat afternoon & have been unable to replicate the problem.
I just realized that I forgot to tell them about the error message when it restarted that it had shut down because of a problem.
I would hope that the Geniuses should be able to figure out that there may have been such a message, but maybe not.
& it's my impression that this maybe should have generated a log of the problem that caused it to shut down.
But maybe I'm wrong on that. I hope not.
Anyway, I'm supposed to come pick it up but since they couldn't replicate it they didn't have anything to fix so I was w out my MacBookPro for 3 days w out anything being fixed.
I know that intermittent problems are the hardest to diagnose & fix but does anyone have any suggestions?
I am remembering that a couple of different store people mentioned they had heard about this happening but I neglected to ask about the cause assuming it was maybe a known issue.
Am I correct in thinking that there should have been logs made of what caused it to shutdown & restart?
A bit frustrated by this. & my AppleCare runs out in about a mo although they said it was documented as happening before it ran out so it would be covered.
Again any help would be appreciated. I hope this is typed correctly. I'm typing it on my iPhone 4S as that's all I have to access the Internet at the moment.

Well in 2011 they tried archive & install & then erase & install a couple of times. Nothing showed up. I was running Windows 7 in Bootcamp & then using that as a virtual machine in Parallels 5. I had proprietary co software that I needed to run in Windows at that time. I suspect that it could have been a conflict related to that especially the proprietary software. It seems that they have homegrown programmers who may use non-standard ways of doing things.
At least that is my guess.
Now we are using web based stuff so I don't really need Windows much any more.
But since I have it & since Parallels made an upgrade offer I upgraded to it at the time I upgraded to Mountain Lion which was not that long ago. So they suggested that I just use the vm rather than Bootcamp so I removed the Bootcamp partition before Installing Mountain Lion.
& oh yeah. Just remembered that ML didn't install the 1st try. Went all the way to 1 min left & it got stuck there-- for 45 min +. So finally restarted & then it started the installation all over again & finished ok that time.
But the earlier hardware replacements were done at the same time & then the sleep sensor for when the lid was closed was replaced right after as they noticed the problem when they were giving it back to me. So that was done in about early April 2011.  The track pad had had a dead spot for a long time but I had thought I was doing something wrong so didn't report it until recently nth at time they quickly diagnosed it & a few hours later said it was done.
The guy I spoke to earlier said he thought it was software. I got the impression that he thought I was trying to get them to replace hardware. No I just want it to work right whether it hardware or software.

  • MBP Restarting When Left Open

My MacBook Pro restarts after a few minutes when it is open and idle.
Any suggestions? This is driving me crazy!

I too am having this issue. I am sometimes able to start up and work for a while but then out of nowhere it automatically restarts and enters a never ending restart loop - sometimes getting as far as the finder, other times not getting past the grey screen. I have not tried safe booting yet. I do get disk error messages when booting up in Windows XP via VFusion but this has been happening when in Mac OS alone also. Has anyone found any solution to this yet?

  • My iPad mini is already on the latest version 8.1.2 and it still keeps restarting when safari opens

My iPad mini is already on the latest version 8.1.2 and Sinc updating, Safari very often seems to cause a reboot when trying to open webpages. I've checked for updates and no others exists... Almost to the point of using a different device...
    thanks for any help...

It's happening to me with my Air.  All this started when I foolishly installed iOS 8.  It's actually worse on 8.1.2 for me.  I'm about fed up with this c**p.  Apple needs to stop adding "features", ie bugs, until they fix all this usability stuff.  I have a lifetime of IT experience and I'd have fired anyone who released this slop.

  • Why does "My Yahoo" open in a new tab [only after a restart of the system] when I open Firefox and my options are set to restore tabs?

after a system restart, when I open Firefox, a new tab appears with My Yahoo displayed. I have my options set to restore session/tabs, with my home page listed as blank [not the best, i know]. I have not installed any new programs, other than Norton, to 2010 and have only done updates as required.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
== recently...I usually only shut down for reboots.

If you use [[Clear Recent History]] in Firefox 3.5 and later or [[Clearing private data|Clear Private Data]] in Firefox 3 to clear the 'Browsing History' when Firefox is closed then restoring tabs from the last session ("Save & Quit" or "Show my windows and tabs from last time") doesn't work.

  • Finder self-restarts

My finder self-restarts, when i push the right button on my mighty-mouse 4 or 5 times. And it doesn't matter in what time and in what place i push it. It may be a creation of new folder on desktop or seein properties of file.. Just when i push fifth time - it self-restart. What can i do? In my re:Store tells, that it is a unique problem and they didn't know what to do. Please, help

If there is an item named StuffitCM in either Contextual Menu Items folder, move it out of that folder. Otherwise, move items out one at a time until you find the one responsible for the crash.

  • When I open the settings and messages of the iPhone 4s I get stuck in a white screen, what should I do? the keyboard to open there is minute, I can not open the settings in any way.

when I open the settings and messages of the iPhone 4s I get stuck in a white screen, what should I do? the keyboard to open there is minute, I can not open the settings in any way.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray BEFORE doing the reset.

  • When I open my MacBook Air the keyboard comes up along with the screen and does not stay still?!

When I open my MacBook Air the keyboard comes up along with the screen and does not stay still. So I need to hold down the keyboard while i open it. Other than that it works fine despite the fact that the fan noise some times is loud and sometimes it's getting warm at the base. I wonder if this can be fixed if i go to one of the apple branches.

Yes. Take the computer to the Apple store to have it fixed.

  • When i open my computer I get the white screen with apple symbol and there are vertical lines all over the screen with green pixels and after a few minutes the screen gets grey and I get message to restart my computer what happens

3 years ago I bought an IMac Desktop that I am using for a lot of things but the most important for dvd montage in Imovies and Idvd.
Now today when I opened my computer I get as usual the white screen with the Apple symbol but there were all over the screen vertical lines with green pixels and after a while the screen gets grey and I get message to restart my computer using the power button or the restart button and when I do so each time the same is happening somebody can tell me what is happening and what caused this. This computer is my work and now I have no income anymore.
On the Apple support site they are asking to enter the serial number and when I do so I get message it is wrong but it is the only one I have and I buy this computer in Cairo Egypt. I am living in Hurghada in Egypt for the moment. When I call the technical support of the shop where I buy it they are telling me that it is the hard disk or ram and that I probably lost everything on it and they are asking a big amount to repair.
Can somebody advise me on this matter. Thanks in advance

You can find the serial number either in About this Mc in the Menu bar under the , or it should be on a sticker under the foot of the machine.
If you have the install discs, try booting from them, holding down the c key and then using Disk Utility to check the drive.
You can also boot into Safe mode
To start up into Safe Mode (to "Safe Boot"), do this:
       1. Be sure the computer is shut down.
       2. Press the power button.
       3. Immediately after you hear the startup tone, press and hold the Shift key.
Tip: The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone but not before.
       4. Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple and progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
During the startup in Mac OS X 10.2 through 10.3.9, you will see "Safe Boot" on the Mac OS X startup screen.
During the startup in Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you will see "Safe Boot" on the login window, which appears even if you normally log in automatically.
    Please post back with results,
To leave Safe Mode in any version of Mac OS X, restart the computer normally, without holding any keys during startup.

  • My iPhone restarts when I try to open my photos app, how do I fix this

Please help!!! Every time I try and open my photos app my screen turns green and restarts, how do ifix this? I tried turning off and on what can I do?

    Hello Hbyars33,
Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing with the Photos app on your iPhone.
I recommend following these steps for an issue like the one you described (you can skip 4 because it does not relate to the issue you are experiencing and any other steps you may have taken):
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on),reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more about restoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.
You can find the full article here:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3281
If you get to step 5, I recommend backing up your iPhone before performing the restore:

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
