    <br />I'm trying to send an e-mail with custom content.
    <br />I've set the MX send e-mail server behaviour so that it sends an html

    <br />The problem arises when I try to put some variables in the template file.
    <br />Transaction variables work as expected and they will be sent by email.
    <br />But I cannot figure out how to include other standard variable.
    <br />I use variables to translate the page on the fly.
    <br />I have an external file containing all translations and I include it on my

    <br />Then I output the translation using the echo command:

    I manage to send out the email using the htm type. However, instead of having a hyperlink saying click here and it link to another page, i am getting something like this in the email.

    In my code, i write

    , but the content just turn to above. What i wan is a CLICK HERE link and will link to google.

    Dear Friends,
    My Requirment is to send the mail to Customer automaticaly when create any Sales Order.
    While sending the mail given three points reqired.
    1.     Send the attachment of Order Conformation along with the mail.
    2.     There must be The title text as "Order Confirmation refrence of your PO <Customer PO No> <PO Date>"
    3.     There must be some body text like some terms and conditions with variables of Order data.
    Can any body help me one this step by step.
    Kindly suggest me how to do this.

  • Sending HTML Mails using SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1

    Dear all,
    we were using SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send plain text e-mail replies to participants of an incentive program. Now the customer wants to send HTML mails. Customer has provided HTML templates for the mails, and the text always is the same, only slight changes in regard to the particpants number occur. Has anybody ever performed sending HTML formated mails without using SmartForms?

    I followed the below steps, but i could not write the code for sending email, can you please send me a sample code.

    Just wanted to let you guys know that I still haven't received my MP3 player... Creative has had the MP3 player for 73 days now and they still haven't sent it back. Since last time I wrote here I got an e-mail from Creative saying they got the MP3 player on the 5th of the November and that somehow the status wasn't updated. Well, it's been 73 days now, care to send it away? I sent them and e-mail yesterday where I wrote that they could just send me the cash for it or a new MP3 player.
    If I don't receive my MP3 player in a near future I will contact "Allm?nna Reklamations N?mnden" (a Swedish "Consumerist"-like government sponsored organization that deals with people vs company legal cases).
    Again, I strongly advise everyone to not buy any more Creative products. Once they break you won't get the help you need.

    You ought to have SBO Mailer from SBO Service Manager installed. Then open document and choose File - Send - E-mail. If contact person has e-mail it will put in automatically, if no type or In window Send message choose Add recipient - Contact Person. Check E-mail. type here. Fill Subject and press Send.

    Hi!
    I am using weblogic portal 7.0 for personalization. I am using campaign based e-mails for targetting specific customers. I am able to send e-mail through weblogic portal for users when the user logs in. How can I send group e-mails for a specific campaign. For example, if I have to send "virus alert" campaign mail for all our registered customer. I don't want any batch file to be written for this purpose.
    I would really appreciate your help.

    Hi Deepak,
    The favorites are placed in the "userhome" repository. Take a look at KM Content -> userhome -> for each username -> Favorites, there you'll find links with the favorites. You can simply copy & paste those to the other users, so you don't have to login with each one.

    Im trying out the Developers Toolbox and am trying to figure out if its right for me, and have very basic - beginning MySQL and php skills.
    The tutorial at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/9.0_ADDT/help.html?content=ch12_send_email_01.htm l is rather sketchy, when I follow the tutorial on that page:
    "The Send E-mail trigger allows the site developer to automatically send an e-mail when a form is submitted. It is an AFTER trigger, and it can be executed after insert/update/delete/custom transactions.
    This trigger is accessible from the Application panel, Server Behaviors > + > Developer Toolbox > Send E-mail > Send E-mail."
    well, when I try that, I get an error on the page which says:
    "There are no insert, update, custom or login or delete transactions on page. Please insert an appropriate transaction first."
    OK I am assuming that I need some kind of an html form open and on a page, however where do I start? Its as if the tutorials left out a huge chunk of the instructions. I realize I am no expert but if someone was buying the toolbox for the first time how would one know where to start? Do I need to create a new database table first? What kind of table? Can it be a table that is part of the site database for the shopping cart database that I already have linked to the store? Or does it need to be a seperate - database, table? Or just a php page with the form in it? Or does the form page need to be .html?
    Or is the toolkit only for advanced developers with advanced php and MySQL skills and should I not even bother buying it?
    Anyway can someone please give me a hint?
    All I am trying to do is construct a simple email form for my web site which I have created in Dreamweaver and I need a php script to process the data inserted into the form and send it off to the mail server to forward to the webmaster's email address. I have the form created and brought up the form page, but then the Server Behaviors > + > Developer Toolbox > Send E-mail > Send E-mail. Tab is not accessible, and I am assuming that it wont be unless I have a .php file open, so I dont have a clue as to where to start.

    honestly said: if sending form data via email is about all you want to achieve, buying ADDT or even trying to learn it would be overkill, as it comes with heaps of features which you´ll probably never need -- in this case investing in a stand alone form-to-email script seems a better solution.

    Hi Mani,
    The A tag using the MailTo: can only work with a client mail program. There's no way to send an e-mail from the server using it.
    You can specify Subject and Body texts within the A tag, but you cannot specify the from and to addresses.
    In order to send e-mail from the server, you'd need to use either an app-part or custom web part. I don't think you can do it through CSOM.

    EDIT: It looks like you can do it through C# CSOM, but that would require an AppPart. I can't see SendEmail in any of the JavaScript based CSOM files.

    If its just an email do u need a workflow for it? Configure dynamic actions which will call a subroutine when a change is made to the infotype and send email from that subroutine using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.(you can include the necessary logic for determining the approver in the same subroutine).
