Send multiple lines to a function in SAP
Hi all,
I am working with FTP to RFC scenario.
My incoming file has multiple lines as:
<i>
Line1
line2
line3
...</i>
I have imported the RFC structure from SAP and this structure looks like:
<i>
ZINTPRUEBA1
STRCSIMPLE
item type: ZSTRCSIMPLE
CAMPO1 type: xsd:string
</i>
where STRCSIMPLE is a table of type:ZSTRCSIMPLE that contains only one field. That is, a table of one column.
What i want to do is to send multiple lines and fill this table. If i execute the interface, i can see in the MONI that XI mapping is OK and there is no error in the IE and AE. BUT in SAP, there is only ONE EMPTY field after that.
Do you have any idea about what may be happening here?
Thanks in adavance and kind regards,
david

Search option for multiple lines in iPad for fixed layout ePub is not working. Is there any alternate way to search multiple lines in ePub?
Hi SAP Gurus
I need a big favour, I am trying to map serach string with internal order, my search string is MV-38610573 which I have mapped with posting rule 'GENT' which debits bank account and credit revanue accounts but this revanue account requires assignment with internal order, so I have created another 3 search string with same search string 'MV-38610573' and mapped with BSEG-ASUFNR,60000LC ( internal order),3 (bdc account type) respectively, also maintained three entries in search string use which is for BDC FIELD NAME1, BDC FIELD VALUE 1 & BDC ACCOUNT TYPE 1,
But this is not working it gives me following error,
> Error: (KI 235) Account 4421 requires an assignment to a CO object
Your help will be highly appreciated, -
Multiple line issue in sap script
Hi All,
There is a window in the sap script.
The window consists of a text element and i am displaying 4 lines of text in that window.
Sap script:
/E Reason
AC &LINE&
In the source code, an internal table will have 5 text lines and those 5 lines should be reflected in sap script.
The source code as follows.....
loop at li_tline.
CALL FUNCTION 'TEXT_SYMBOL_SETVALUE'
EXPORTING
NAME = 'LINE'
VALUE = li_tline-tdLINE.
CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
EXPORTING
ELEMENT = 'REASON'
WINDOW = 'REASON'
function = 'APPEND'.
endloop.
In final output, the last line of the internal table is reflacting..... Hope its getting over written each time in the loop.
How to make the code, so that i can reflect all the lines from internal table to the sap script....??????????????
Please help me, as this issue is very much urgent..........
Regards
PavanHi
Do like this.
declare 5 variables each of 80 char length.
data: v1(80), v2(80), v3(80), v4(80), v5(80).
Read the Internal table li_tline with index and move each line to different variables and write those variables in the script.
if not li_tline[] is initial.
read table li_tline index 1.
if sy-subrc = 0.
v1 = li_tline-tdline+0(80).
endif.
read table li_tline index 2.
if sy-subrc = 0.
v2 = li_tline-tdline+0(80).
endif.
read table li_tline index 3.
if sy-subrc = 0.
v3 = li_tline-tdline+0(80).
endif.
read table li_tline index 4.
if sy-subrc = 0.
v4 = li_tline-tdline+0(80).
endif.
read table li_tline index 5.
if sy-subrc = 0.
v5 = li_tline-tdline+0(80).
endif.
endif.
write the &V1& &V2& &V3& &V4& &V5& variables ins cript
Reward points if useful

HI Team,
Can we create multiple lines in an SAP Query? If yes, how (pls explain the steps)?
Like can we have a line for the employee, next for spouse & then the next for child, so on...and then the next employee details.
Also, there might be fields which will repeat in most of these lines for each employee.
Thanks

Functionality in SAP to allow you to print multiple copies of a form
I've been asked by a SD functional team member how to:
This is the table and field names for Number of Messages functionality in SAP which should allow you to print multiple copies of a form at one time.
Program Name:SAPMV13B
Screen #:0211
Transparent Table: NACH
Field Name: ANZAL
Data Element: NA_ANZAL
How do I go about setting up this functionalilty?
Thanks,
LaurieHi Laurie,
There are three possible ways -
1. Predefined number of copies - You can define number of copies in the print parameters while creating condition record. Ask you functional team member how they are setting up condition records. You have an option to setup print parameters on condition record screen. This is the only option if you are using output determination.
2. If you have an isolated print program then you can choose to let user enter print parameters by using parameter " DIALOG = ' ' " in "open_form".
3. If you have an isolated print program and do not want to let user control other print parameters you can take input from user ( or hard code ) number of copies and use that in parameter " OPTIONS " in "open_form".

SAp SCRIPT Multiple lines in MYWINDOW
hello friends,
can i print internal table data(Multiple lines) in a window ither than MAIN window?
Ex.
Loop at itab into wa,
call function 'write_form'
exporting
element = 'MULTIPLE'
window = MYWINDOW (VAR).
endloop.
Please suggest.
Thanks,
Mohammed.Hi
You can print Multiple lines but if the content is exceeding the window size then it is truncated that means it is not displayed and we cannot have flow data with secondary windows .

PDF Multiple Line Print Function
I'm hoping to create a form that allows for multiple lines, but that can also be extended beyond the visible box (if the box allows for 20 lines and they want 30 then they can). I can do this for viewing purposes, but cannot get the content to print in this manner. Can anybody tell me how to print that area as well as allow it to be saved? Thank you!
Hi
Just give a check to the existing condition records under output type WE03 in MN23, you might have missed that record for WE03 output type assignment for WE/3 parameters. To my knowledge your requirement is already available in Std SAP.
Best regards -

Text with multiple lines limit each line to 10 digits
Im trying to create a Numeric Field with multiple lines and limit the character per line to 10
ideally I want the users to be able to paste in a 10 digit number similar to this:
0001234567
0001234568
0001234569
I can set my pattern to num{zzzzzzzzzz} but not sure how to allow multiple lines
Im using Adobe LC ES2 Verison 9.0
Thanks!better option is to use INCLUDE statement in SCRIPTS. its a script control command and you no need to use READ_TEXT and to loop it and send each line to script.
if you use the above INCLUDE control command, SAP will take care of printing total text of that Object.
here is the syntax :
<b>/: INCLUDE name [OBJECT o] [ID i] [LANGUAGE l] [PARAGRAPH p] [NEW-PARAGRAPH np]</b>
here /: indicates its an Control command.
you have to use NAME, ID, LANGUAGE adn OBJECT here.
if you give these details in the Text editor of script layout,automatically data will be printed on the screen.
ex:
/: INCLUDE &EKKO-EBELN& OBJECT EKKO ID X LANGUAGE E
Hope you got the Idea.
<b>here is brief help about INCLUDE:</b>
Use INCLUDE to include the contents of another text into your text. The text to be included exists separately from yours and is only copied at the time of the output formatting. With INCLUDE, since the text is only read and inserted during the output formatting, the most current version of the required text is always available.
and IF you are very specific about using READ_TEXT to display the contents,
then you have to LOOP that table and call the WRITE_FORM to print the line on the layout.
LOOP AT IT_TDLINES.
CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
ENDLOOP.

Sending multiple email for free goods item category??
Hi,
we have requirement to send email (Z report in smartforms) automatically when sale order save in tcode VA01/VA02.
we made reqd config in tcode NACE and we set access sequence on ORDER TYPE and it's working fine. but the problem is that when order booked for item category free goods it sends multiple emails. (i.e. no. of line items = no. of email) for one order no. All other item category is working fine. only problem with the free goods.
I am an abaper. all config are made with the consent of SD consultant.
pls help.
thanks
Radhashyam Sahoo.If you are an ABAPer, then it sounds like you simply need to debug the processing to identify where/why the fault occurs. As for the NACE settings, you should understand the config as well as your functional counterpart. It will make you a better developer and help you understand the processing code.

Using Select all to create multiple lines in a sales order
Hello SAP experts,
In our business practice users create multiple line sales orders with reference to contracts and use the copy paste method and then assign each line to the contract manually.
After a few years of this practice i found a new way to create multiple lines but it doesn't quite work correctly. When you have created the first line of an order if you click on the select all button the system will ask you how many lines do you want to copy. I don't know if this is standard SAP but 3 things don't happen when we use this 1) The schedule line information is blank 2) conditions do not copy from the contract even though the contract has been referenced. 3) Since there is no schedule line information the order fails when saving and we get a update terminated message.
I am having problems finding any documentation around this function so any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

How to upload schedule line from flat files to sap file
dear all,
i want to upload the schedule lines from flat files to sap schedulle lines

so how to upload that and the fields available in flat files are more than the sap screen
we are having more than 6 items
and 15scedule lines its abt 90data to be upload
for one customer in every 15 day
so how to do this
is there any direct use in functional side
with out the help of any abap
but my user will do it
so he need a permanent solution
with regards
subratHi Subrat ,
u can upload the data either ( Master /Transaction) data with the help of lsmw. for that all u need to do is go through the lsmw and do it. in that u can go Batch input recording/ BAPI/ IDOC any of that. here i am sending the LSMW Notes go through it and do the work.
once u create the LSMW project then u can ask the data from user or u can explain the user about the program and can run the flat file to upload the data.
if u require LSMW material Just send me blank mail from u. my mail id is [email protected]
Reward if Helpful.

How can I send multiple attachments using SO_DYNP_OBJECT_SEND?
Hi,
I hope someone can offer advice on my problem.
My requirement is to allow users to select one or more documents from an ALV grid. I am then required to send these documents to multiple users via email using function module SO_DYNP_OBJECT_SEND.
I can successfully send one document as an attachment. However, I can't seem to figure out how to send multiple documents as attachments using SO_DYNP_OBJECT_SEND. Is this done in the packing list?
Is there some way to tell the program where the 1st attachment ends and the 2nd attachment starts?
My attachment content is in i_att_cont.
CALL FUNCTION 'SO_DYNP_OBJECT_SEND'

OTHERS = 4.
If you require more information, please let me know. I will be happy to provide it.
Thanks.I finally found the solution.
The trick is to ensure you put the correct values in the body_start, body_num and objlen fields of the packing list.
Each additional attachment should start (body_start) at the end of the last attachment + 1.
The value for body_num is equal to the number of lines in the attachment being added.
And the objlen field is calculated by multiplying the number of lines in the attachent * 255.
Static data
gs_packing_list-file_ext = lv_ext.
gs_packing_list-transf_bin = 'X'.
gs_packing_list-objla = sy-langu.
gs_packing_list-objtp = 'EXT'.
gs_packing_list-objdes = lv_filename.
gs_packing_list-objnam = 'Attachment'.
gs_packing_list-head_start = 1.
gs_packing_list-head_num = 1.
Body Start
CLEAR lv_count.
DESCRIBE TABLE gt_temp_att_cont LINES lv_count.
gs_packing_list-body_start = lv_count + 1.
Body Num + Object Length
CLEAR lv_count.
DESCRIBE TABLE gt_att_cont LINES lv_count.
gs_packing_list-body_num = lv_count.
gs_packing_list-objlen = lv_count * 255.
APPEND gs_packing_list TO gt_packing_list.
