Send parameters with CSA call

Hi all,
We are currently setting up CSA for our systems.
Within these checks you can call transactions in the connected system via trusted RFC and perform your system checks. E.g. you can call SM37 in order to check job processing.
However, how can I sent in addition to the transaction code also some parameters in order put data in required input fields? E.g. by calling SM37 via CSA, the transaction should show up and already fields like "user name" should include a valid search value like "Batchuser", or the field "job name" should be set to "BTC*".
Is this somehow possible?

Hi,
we are also very interested in answer to this question. At the moment we are creating the parameter transactions from the client side to get various forms of the same transaction but its is very inconvenient.

Sending mail with 2 attachments

Hi All,
 I have a requirement where I have to send a mail with 2 attachments. Both attachments should be excel sheets.
Iam using the function module

Xcode send post parameters with URL

I am a new developer at all and only 2 weeks working with Objective-c. I came from VoIP PBX World, knows little bit php, shell
So my question is:
I am working right now on Bill application for mobile operator
To send parameters in a blind mode by xcode
I installed POSTER Plugin to my Firefox that can emulate login with 2 parameters (login and password) to this web site and
return me a content from my account there.
So I don't know which instrument in XCODE can do the same as POSTER PLUGIN.
I have a link where I send parameters
"https://www.golantelecom.co.il/rpc/web.account.rpc.php?action=login&p_action="
and parameters I sent
Content-type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
username=123456&password=PASSWORD
I can't send it from my browser like a get request in this case

How I can emulate this same from Xcode?

Hi,
For this thing, you dnt need to use any plugin. What you can do is take the "username=123456&password=PASSWORD" text into string format. And convert that into some encoded format. Ask the server people decode the content what you are sending from device. Check the iPhone Code. May it works...

Take a look at the documentation of FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' for parameter PACKING_LIST. I think you should set t_packing_list-head_num to a different value than 0 for the second attachment.

Sending mail with excel attachment-improper format

Dear experts,
I am sending a mail to outlook with an excel attachment. The mail is sent with attachment and the data, but all in one cell.
I am using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1. What parameters do i need to manipulate to have data in different columns of excel? I am using "packing_list" table of FM. But dont know the exact parameters to be passed. Can anyone help with the same please?

Problem sending .pdf with email in ECC 6.0

hi there,
we are upgrading from r/3 4.6.c to ECC 6.0.
i have the following problem: in many z-ababs we convert spool-files to pdf-files and send them with function SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 via email.
well, this is working okay, BUT: the ending '.pdf' is missing in the filename:
in R/3 4.6.c it looks like the following:
zfl_reporting.pdf
Now it looks like this:
zfl_reporting
So the file is not recognized as pdf-file. You have to add a .pdf manually to open it.
We can't do this as we send the pdf-files thousands of times to our customers.
Any ideas ?

Passing multiple URL parameters with same name

Hi,
I have a question which is not entirely related to Java. But although its related HTTP calls, so I thought I might get some ideas here.
Background:
I am making HTTP URL call from SAP ABAP code. Its pretty much similar to Java (creating URL connection, setting HTTP headers, connecting, receiving response and everything)
For example,
http://service_server:8080/a7/extension.services.SearchRequirements.a7x?RequestStatus=CR&RequestStatus=RR
Now, this service_server runs a query to database where it uses both these values of "RequestStatus" to form 'OR' condition for a field.
Issue:
When I run this URL from browser, it shows XML response containing results for both values. In short, this is the ideal response.
(I am using getParameterValues(string) at service_server to read multiple values for same parameter)
But when I see response in SAP system, I see that it is returning data for only one value of 'RequestStatus'.
I checked the logs of service_server, and I see that it has received only one parameter, not two.
Question:
It seems like SAP systems web server is truncating both parameters with same name and passing just one of them to outside server(??)
Is there any configuration at Web Server side or any HTTP headers to be set so as to avoid this?
Can anybody suggest something on this?

Convert Screen(spool) to PDF file sending mail with attach file

Hi :
I'd like convert spool list to pdf and sending file...
so, I read thread about spool convert to PDF before,
and know how to convert Spool to PDF file and send mail with attach file.
but I have a problem.
my solution as:
step 1. Call function: "CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF"
step 2. Call function: "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1"
then, I got a mail with attached PDF file, but the PDF file display limited 255 line.( SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 limited)
I want to showing word is wider that 255.
and then I find a manual method as:
After program finished.
Function Menu -> system -> List -> Send
use Prog: "Create Document and Send"
I use this prog sending mail and attached file ,
PDF file do NOT have 255 word limit !
finally. my question is, If I want sending mail as Prog: "Create Document and Send", how to do?
which Function I have to use?...

Is there a function to send an e-mail with an attachment which is an existing excel-file on my C:\-drive.
I found lots of possibilities to send mail with internal tables as attachment but in my case the attachment is an existing excel-file (c:\test.xls)...
