Send the unlock request to Apple on the owner's behalf.

how to send the unlock request to Apple on the owner's behalf.

You can't send an unlock request to Apple yourself. It can only be done through the network to which the phone is locked.
Only the network can authorise the unlock.

We added a user object in AD 2003 which was created so multiple staff members could access the object's mailbox and reply to email from it while appearing as being from the new object. We then added 5 staff members to this object's mailbox rights giving
full access to everyone including myself. I'm able to reply to email from this user's mailbox however a few others are not, instead getting "You do not have the permission to send the message on behalf of the specified user". The odd thing is I have
the exact same permissions as those who receive the error.

You need to set Send As permission to users that want to send mails on behalf the specified user.

  • FACTORY UNLOCK REQUEST FROM APPLE

CAN APPLE HELP TO UNLOCK IPHONE 4 ? I AM OUTSIDE STATES BUY A PHONE FROM MY FRIEND.

NO THEY CAN'T, EVEN IF YOU SHOUT LIKE YOU ARE CURRENTLY DOING.
All unlocking requests must be initiated with the carrier.  Not all carriers will unlock phones.

  • Cannot get phone unlocked after successful unlock request from Apple

I continually get "The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported" after successfully restoring an unlocked iphone4 (even after a restore from recovery mode) Is there any advice out there please?

You use the O2 card to do the unlock.
You only change the SIM card after you get to the Congads..........message.
This is the Process in full.
The process is contact your network supplier .
    Ask IF they offer unlocking.
IF yes request the unlock and pay any fees requested.
Your network supplier then contacts Apple to request the White listing (Unlocking) of your phone on the iTunes servers.
Apple do this -It takes anything from 3 days to several weeks to complete.
On completion Apple confirms this back to your Network supplier (NOT YOU)
Your network supplier contacts you via email or SMS inviting you to connect your iPhone with your computer via the supplied USB cable and launch iTunes and follow on screen prompts through to the "Congratulations your iPhone is now unlocked" screen.
All these steps need to be carried out with the ORIGINAL SIM and by REGISTERED account holder used when setting up the phone.
Once the Congats...... screen has been reached you can swap out the REGISTERED SIM and replace with a compatable SIM on another network.
    CAVEATS
Only the original SIM and Account holder can initiate an unlock- If you bought the phone used/second hand you CAN NOT UNLOCK through official routes
Once unlocked use of a Mobile Virtual Network SIM may result in difficulties sending SMS messages.
You may have to go into Setting /Network/Cellular/Cellular Data Network and enter the correct settings manually.
Further caveat Cellular Data Network menu is SIM card dependant if its not supported you CAN NOT change the settings manually then you may need to contact the SIM card company - They can send a setup SMS if they support this process.
    Sorry for the lecture.
    PRESEE -
ONLY REGISTERED ACCOUNT HOLDER AND SIM CARD CAN BE USED TO UNLOCK THROUGH OFFICAL ROUTES
ANYONE SELLING THEIR IPHONE SHOULD UNLOCK THE DEVICE BEFORE SELLING ON

  • I have a new company and I am running everything on my Mac(s). I would like to set up my iCal to send calendar requests from my company address. Right now it is sending through iCloud which is not the email that I want to be sending the calendar requests.

I have built the business website using WordPress. I have BlueHost as my email client and everything is working fine. I am now faced with a problem setting up my iCal appointments. Does anyone have a work-around? Right now my iCloud (gMail address) is what is sending the requests.

I don't remember in 10.4.11, but Parental Controls did allow OKing Mail or not in 10.5.8...
BTW, 10.5.8 can be installed on slower Macs, I have it on a 450 MHz G4...
    Leopard requirements/10.5.x...
        *  Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
    minimum system requirements
        * 512MB of memory (I say 1.5GB for PPC at least, 2-3GB minimum for IntelMacs)
        * DVD drive for installation
        * 9GB of available disk space (I say 30GB at least)
    Classic/OS9 Apps no longer supported.
Trouble is Apple no longer sells it, check eBay & such for the Retail version, not the Gray Discs...

There are workarounds if the 867MHz CPU is the only hangup...

  • Is it true that it will take an Apple Authorized reseller 7-10 days to replace my Magsafe recharger covered by applecare  and cannot give me ones available in their shop because they have to send the order to Singapore? Is that not really poor service?

HI, I have a question. I bought my macbook pro along with applecare + which expires in 2013. I bought it in Melboune Australia, however I am currently on a business trip in Pakistan. My Magsafe recharger went bust (not charging at all and leaking oil). Called Apple Australia and spoke to a very helpful service rep. After verification, he told me to take the magsafe to the Apple Authorized reseller in Lahore (Raffles - gave the sellers address and numbers) and they will replace it with a new one immediatley. He also gave me a case number.
Went to the Authorized reseller with macbook and magsafe and gave them the case number along with details about the problem. He told me after an hour of "researching and asking questions" that he will have to send the replacement request to Singapore and it will take atleast 7-10 business days for me to get back a new charger. I asked him why he could not give me the charger which he had on display and in stock at the shop. He said that mine will only be sent by Singapore and it will take that long (was quite rude and uncoperativel!!!!). Are'nt apple authorized resellers here in Lahore Pakistan bound by the same service standards as those in Australia. Maybe apple should really look into who they select as their authorized resellers and the kind of service they are providing to customers! Very Very Dissapointed with the service.
Now I have a major work presentation, and I wanted to find out if this 7-10 business days timeframe is correct as apple servic rep told me it would happen straight away as he had already lodged a case whereas this Apple Authorized reseller is saying 7-10 working days, even when he has the product in stock at the shop!???
Any help/knowledge about someone else who has faced this issue would be appreciated.

AAR's are independent distributors, very rarely have a inventory and have to order everything from Apple on a per need basis.
You would likely get faster response waiting on hold with Apple for three hours and having the new magsafe overnight shipped, or going to a Apple Store and exchanging the Magsafe/buy a new one while waiting for the old one to be replaced.
It's the sad fate of things unfortunately, but likely this has to do with AAR's only making a tiny profit on new hardware sales, them giving you a new Magsafe doesn't make any profit for them, likely Apple doesn't have a reinbursment or takes forever to determine your Magsafe is defective and authorize a replacement cost reinbursement to the AAR.
Think about it, if you were a AAR would you exchange a Magsafe knowing Apple could later determine  the defective Magsafe was caused by customer misuse (thus voiding the warrantly/AppleCare) not send you a dime?

That is a nonsensical request. If it could be installed then that would not prove that it could not be installed.

You've checked the spam folder on your rescue email account and tried clicking the reset link again to re-request it ? You could also contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

    webweave,
    Welcome to the Apple discussions!
Generally, as discussed above, having 2 mount points for the same disk in the volumes folder won't prevent a successful backup. But in your case (#15!), that's a problem. More often than not, they are being created by Time Machine because you already have one or more instances of the Time Capsule disk mounted on your desktop. Ejecting the TC disk when it is not needed is the best way to avoid creating multiple mount points.
If you have any further questions, please post them in a new thread. You can refer back to this discussion with a link if necessary.
    Cheers!

I want to buy iPhone 5 64 gb
The problem I'm in Saudi Arabia
Apple UK site can not be shipping outside the uk

    Thanks

However many people contact Apple support for there is nothing that either they or you can do.
Apple stores online do NOT provide international shipping, end of story.
If you want an unlocked iPhone 5, you will either have to wait until they are available nearer to you or you need to physically travel to the UK and purchase an unlocked iPhone 5 there.  Rememeber though about warranty issues - not international so it means you'll have to physically return to the UK if anything goes wrong with the phone.
If you have a friend travelling to the UK, then they could purchase one for you and then you could put a local Saudi nano sim card in the phone when they become available over there.
Other than that, just be patient and wait until they become available.
