SendData() method? where to find reference please?

Question

newb, been going through alot of material, on a new tutorial and the method
sendData() is used.
I do NOT know how to find information on this here at sun, though I know it exists, sometimes I do a search, search works, other times, just can't find stuff...
if someone could point me to a reference on how to look up documentation for methods that'd be awesome
ie: i have this

and quite a few other links, but don't know how to find this method within or elsewhere
even ifyou can explain this methods, i'd really appreciate such a link, because I come acroos new methods and similar stuff all the time and like to understand the parameters available,, but often am left blank, or posting here

From the link you gave above (actually you should download the API to your machine so you always have easy access to it), you click on the "S" to get a list of all methods starting with "s". You then find the sendData(...) method and the class it belongs to. Click on the link for further help.
In this case the sendData(...) method does not exist, so it is not part of the base JDK.
