Sending CW between individual transmissions of data

Hi,
I would like to set USRP to a mode, in which it keeps sending CW until it has been triggered for next transmission of user-defined data using niUSRP Write TX Data.vi. The background is following: I define data, send them and receive and while processing the received data and preparing them for next transmission I need to keep the CW on. Is there a way to do this?

Hello Vojtech,
What you need would be similar architecure as the TDM example that was recently posted.
Instead of feeding zeros to the USRP for IQ pairs, you would need to send some other constant value such as 0.5 or 1.0 and keep a constant stream of IQ pairs transmitted to the USRP to prevent buffer underflows

M…oSoft products aren't allowed on my machines but I use LibreOffice which is a clone of Office.
When I export from Numbers to Excel and open the result with LibreOffice, the dates are correctly treated.
To be precise, dates after 01/01/1904 are correctly treated. dates before 01/01/1904 are exported as strings but, as it's flagged during the export process, it's not surprising.

Anyone knows if it's possible to transmit raw data through jack plug of an iPhone/iPad?

I have a dummy hardware that have a jack socket and a simple protocol. I want to send/receive serial data from this hardware on my iPhone/iPad, but I don't know if this is possible, because is a very low level protocol. I also have bluetooth, but is not supported by apple, so I decided to investigate this option, with the jack plug. I called Apple support but they couln'd help me and they told me to ask here. Thanks!

There are devices, like credit card readers, heart rate monitors and such that can do this. I am no expert by any means, but those devices supposedly work as a Frequency Shift Keying modem, sending data at a pretty low baud rate to the software on the iOS device.
So it is doable, but my understanding it takes a combination of a hardware device to transmit the data via the headphone jack, and then a specific iOS app designed to capture and read that data.
Definitely non-trivial.

HI U CAN USE LSMW TO UPLOAD LEGACY DATA
LSMW is used for migrating data from a legacy system to SAP system, or from one SAP system to another.
Apart from standard batch/direct input and recordings, BAPI and IDocs are available as additional import methods for processing the legacy data.
The LSMW comprises the following main steps:
Read data (legacy data in spreadsheet tables and/or sequential files).
Convert data (from the source into the target format).
Import data (to the database used by the R/3 application.
But, before these steps, you need to perform following steps :
Define source structure : structure of data in the source file.
Define target structure : structure of SAP that receives data.
Field mapping: Mapping between the source and target structure with conversions, if any.
Specify file: location of the source file
Of all the methods used for data migration like BDC, LSMW , Call Transaction which one is used most of the time?
How is the decision made which method should be followed? What is the procedure followed for this analysis?
All the 3 methods are used to migrate data. Selection of these methods depends on the scenario, amount of data need to transfer. LSMW is a ready tool provided by SAP and you have to follow some 17 steps to migrate master data. While in BDCs Session method is the better choice because of some advantages over call transaction. But call transaction is also very useful to do immediate updation of small amout of data. (In call transaction developer has to handle errors).
SO Bottom line is make choice of these methods based of real time requirements.
These methods are chosen completely based on situation you are in. Direct input method is not available for all scenario, else, they are the simplest ones. In batch input method ,you need to do recording for the transaction concerned. Similarly, IDoc, and BAPI are there, and use of these need to be decided based on the requirement.
Try to go through the some material on these four methods, and implement them. You will then have a fair idea about when to use which.
LSMW Steps For Data Migration
How to develop a lsmw for data migration for va01 or xk01 transaction?
You can create lsmw for data migration as follows (using session method):
Example for xk01 (create vendor)
Initially there will be 20 steps but after processing 1 step it will reduced to 14 for session method.
1. TCode : LSMW.
2. Enter Project name, sub project name and object name.
    Execute.
3. Maintain object attributes.
    Execute
    select Batch Input recording
    goto->Recording overview
    create
    recording name.
    enter transaction code.
    start recording
    do recording as per ur choice.
    save + back.
    enter recording name in lsmw screen.
    save + back
Now there will be 14 steps.
2. MAINTAIN SOURCE STRUCTURES.
    Here you have to enter the name of internal table.

I can send multiline interface commands but not data commands

i am using a gpib controller.I cannot seem to find a way to switch between multiline commads and data commands.the key is the ATN bit as to send a DAB command the atn bit must be low. I cannot make the controller distinguish when a command is a adta command and not a multiline command,

i am using the measurement computing gpib controller cb7210.2 which is nearly ni compatabile.i am interfacing it with a microcontroller connected to the pc.Then i am trying to use a monitor program that is embedded in the microcontroller to perform remote access of instruments.i am using assembly. i have managed to communicate with the instrument.now the problem is that i cannot make the distinction between data commands and interface commands.for eg if i send 3Fh and atn happens to be 1 this is interpreted as UNL if atn is 0 then it is interpreted as data command.i need to be able to have control of the atn bit so that i can send either at will. so to problem is how to control the atn bit.

We have a scenario where we may require the grouping of Individual groups of Data Template in the RTF.
Lets say
1. I have group of Invoices with the Group Name G_INV
2. I have a list of Payments done for the Invoices under G_PAY
3. I also have a list of Prepayment Applications that are happened on the Invoices G_PRE
All the three groups G_INV, G_PAY, and G_PRE are independent and they are at same level

Also, it will be great if you advice us regarding the Performance, how best will be if we group the queries in this heirarchical manner in the RTF rather than getting the hardcoded dependency through linking of the Data Queries in the Data Template file.

I dont think you can stop the table growing using Word controls. The easiest way to do it would be to limit the amount of data coming in.

In addition to above differences. Below is the functional difference between 0FI_AP_30 & 0FI_AP_4:
0FI_AP_4 gives you accounts payable line items in your report. Here GL account shows the balances of particular types of vendors/payables to which that particular GL account is been assigned.
And If subledger is activated in ECC, then by using 0FI_AP_30 you can get the break up of that particular GL balance according to vendors.
To make use of datasource 0FI_AP_30, subledger accounting must be activated in ECC.

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

my server is IIS and i am using java servlets and java mail api.

As far as I know there is no method in JavaMail for sending a message on a particular date.
However you can use the Java.util.Timer and java.util.TimerTask class to do this.
In the class that you send your message from

TimerTask implements Runnable so a thread can be created here.
To call the thread:

1. All details are always taken from the Sender Agreement.
For the Sender File adapter and the Sender SOAP adapter , the details that include are , Sender Service, Sender Interface Name and namespace and these are the details that make up the SOAP header when the message hits the integration Engine.
Once the corresponding Adapter for the message is identified, ie. the Sender SOAP adapter , the message for the SOAP header is then taken from the Sender Agreement of that adapter. This is the exact reason why one Sender Adapter can be involved in one and only one Sender Agreement.

With this component it was my intention to make a more "terse" version of the LabVIEW Flatten to XML VI that was also supported on RT and that gave the user more flexbility regarding the structure of the parsing type definition. I think you are right that the XML parser is not compliant to section 2.11 of the XML spec. The parser does specifically looking for a #D#A and this appears to be an oversight on my part. Please confirm for me, the specifcation is saying that the XML parser should be able to recognize three possibilities as an "end of line" character: #D#A, #D, or #A. Am I reading this right?There are more efficient (and in some cases much more efficient) ways of sharing data between LabVIEW and LabVIEW: some examples are flattened binary strings and the datalog binary format. XML is slower than these optons but the upside is that it is human readable. Furthermore XML is inherently hierarchical which is convenient for complex data structures like clusters of arrays of clusters, etc. If you don't care about human readability then you are correct XML doesn't make as much sense.I will return to the GXML source code and try to fix this in the near future but I would hope that instead of creating yet another custom VI from scratch that you could reuse what I have provided for you. I included enough documentation in the source code so that users could make some modificiations themselves. The target application for this reference library was LabVIEW to LabVIEW communication. As such I documented the schema on the dev zone document from a LabVIEW perspective. It includes all the supported datatypes and all the supported data structures (cluters, arrays, multidimensional arrays, clusters of multidimensional arrays, etc.) I do see some value in making a more conventional XML spec but the time investment required didn't really line up with my intended use case. I am trying to read the individual bytes of data from a file format that LabView does not deal with. How Would I open the file and see the numeric vualue of each byte in LabView, if it is even possible?

One way or another, a file is just a long string of bytes. If you know the structure of the file, you can create appropriate code to parse it. Just read the file as a plain string and feed it to "string to byte array", you'll end up with an array where each element is one byte as U8 representation. Just use "index array" to get the element you want. (Of course you could do the same with substring to get one character, then set the display to hex).

I belong to an email list. Until a few days ago, emails to this list arrive in my in-box with the Sender as the individual who sent the email. Now it simply says the name of the email list. This means that I can't know who has sent an email until, and if, the person signed her name at the bottom. I want to go back to the way it was.

Sending messages between clients

hi,
I want to make small instant messenger,like yahoo.I have made a server which accept connection from different client & send online user list to each and every client connected to the server.
But now i have to send messages between the clients(chatting).
This can be do either through server or allow server establishing connection betwwen two client & allow them to continue chatting session.But i am not able to figure out how i do either of the things using socket programming.
Please help me ,to establish chatting session between the clients.

Yes, It should be Non public to Other client but not to server.
Suppose client1 want to send message to client2 then it send message to server,then server passes this message to client2.
Now as client2 got the it send some reply to client1 which
is also reach to client1 through server.But I have problem ,as how
does client2 knows to which client he has send message as no of clients are connected to the server & more then one client has send message to client2.
Basically I have problem in sending reply to a message send by the different client connected to the server.
