Sending notifications to Mobile Client.
Hi,
I want to be able to send notifications down to mobile service using NOTIFN_WRITE linked to a BP. Current replication object appears to be linked to the employee only. I want the notifications to follow te BP. I think SFAKNA1 can be used but I do not know enough about interlinkages to make it work. Has anyone done this or does anyone know how to set up this replication using interlinkages?

Hi,
Now have notifications specific to Business Partners going to mobile Client. This is a fully functioning mobile sales client. In the service notification/BP tile set I have BP number but not partner function or BP name although both are known in client. Any ideas why this information does not display ?
The status of the service task is also blank with no drop down so is there additional customizing needed in the client ?

I have a problem with sending data change notifications to specific mobile users using the firefox REST client. A server-initiated application has been deployed and an extraction rule for the message subject was defined. As soon as I send the notification from the Sybase Workspace everything works fine and I can specify a device user (e.g. jaser@LDAPconnection) in the "To:" input field.
When I try the same through the REST client I receive the following status message from the server response:

However, if I replace the user with supAdmin it again works fine. My suspicion is that it has something to do with the security profile, because in SyBooks Online says that
The lookup of the logical id is performed by combining the username in the “to” list to the “securityProfile” specified in the HTTP POST REQUEST URL parameter list.
But I have also tried another admin-user who has the admin profile assigned, the result is the same. No other user seem to be accepted, except for supAdmin. Could anybody clarify what is going wrong?

You can send a notification when you disconnect them (ASA/PIX 7.x/Concentrators).
Or, you can put the notification in the log-in banner.

SeeteshYes I agree. But there must be some service provider who does the forwarding of messages provided it has the valid email addres and the IM Gateway information.
The Gateway of different IM clients along with their port nos can be configured using a Factory and then checking the email address, the service provider can relay back the messages present for that user on that IM. -
Sending notification/events to client of RMI
i'm just trying the functionality of RMI.
i tried to created a java beans, which will fire an events in some conditions. the problem is, the events is catch by the RMI server, not at the client as it suppose. is there any way, i can notify clients for any changes in the server, beside using fireChanges()?....

Unity connection 8.5 notifications to mobile
Hi ,
We are using Unity 8.5 integrated to CUCM 8.6 and also with Exchange! We are using ITSP SIP Trunk .
For VoiceMail, We would like to send notifications to mobile but for some reasons unable to do so. Well, here I am actually stuck even I was searching and exploring through the similar posts but seems I am not getting there.
Checked that notification devices are enabled and other relevant parameters such as ALL Voice meessages, schedule etc.
Checked the patterns and Checked that the VM ports can perform message notifications and have particular CSS that can dial mobile numbers.
Checked the "Restriction table' and allowed "*" as in the first order also tried by keeping the mobile number as is (with prefixing 9 as an access code)
I have tried above settings and i was analyzing through port status monitor and I can only see that it triggers the mobile number and then idle idle.
I dont seem to understand where exactly it might be stucking to call out and why is it not ringing my mobile.
your expert help and assistance would be great.

Thanks alot, Yes! You are right, Voicemail DP didnt have the local route group configured. Now i can see it hits the gateway though but not ringing my mobile phone.
I ran debug ccsip on the Voice gateway and here is the excerpt of voicemail port calling my number;
To me it seems codec but i coudnt figure out where exactly. My SIP trunk dial-peer has the codec assigned though. Any ideas ?? -
Can't send im to lync mobile client after a period of chating

I'm setting Lync 2013 server, all internal lan function are working fine, except mobile client.
I've setup edge, reverse proxy (using IIS), FE, BE server.
For IM between between desktop lync client, it is working fine.
For IM between mobile lync client and mobile client with desktop lync cleint, I found the following issue:
- between mobile lync client and lync desktop client: The IM function is working sent between both party, no matter it is initial send from mobile or desktop client, but after a random period of time, may be 5 mins or 7 mins or 10 mins, the desktop client
will not able to send IM to the mobile client but the mobile client still able to send IM to desktop client.
- for between lync mobile client
the issue as above.
- between desktop lync client
no such issue found
I've trouble shoot this issue a lot but still can't the root cause?

Would you please tell us which edition of mobile did you use (Android, IOS or Windows Phone)?
As IPhone and Windows Phone need push notification function but Android Phone doesn’t need.
If possible, you can test with two Android Phone to check if the issue happen with push notification function.
From your description above, it seems that you use 3G network on mobile to connect Lync mobile client. Please check if the issue cause by IP address of mobile, you can change network to a WIFI to have a test.
Also, please double check if the needed ports open as Edwin provided above.

How to send to mobile client complaints
I'm trying to get complaints created on-line CRM5.0 to flow down to the mobile client and the field sales person that handles the BP. Do I need to create a subscription? Where in the Consumer pcakge goods application can I see these?

RobertI'm referring to the Mobile application Consumer package goods in CRM 5.0 SP 05. And I'm referring to complaints in the Sales area transactions.
Apparently SAP changed the functionality now where the Business object handling complaints is MSV_CMP_WRITE and not SALESDOCGEN_O_W in CRM 4.0.
The next thing is we are only sending to the laptop BPs by Territory, so the replication object for compalints don't allow to link to BP's. It seems we can only send one BP if you create the subscription for that BP. This is not good since we would have to create and support 23,000 for eac BP.

CTRANSPORT_ERROR_TIMEOUT with Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 3.1.05170

I use Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 3.1.05170 to connect to my company network and it has been working successfully for a while and until Sunday evening Feb 8.
Today, this solution is no longer working and I've reproduced the same issue on 3 different Mac's which have 10.10.2 (on 2 Mac's) and 10.9.5 (on 1 Mac).
I can navigate on internet without any problem but when I launch the connection in Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client, it time outs and I get the following errors:

I have a client required to send notifications to outside email box, and also user will approve this notification through email.(i,e not logged into oracle and approve it) in 11i instance.
i need to send mail from po department to finance department
once finance department approves , then mail back to po department that your notificaiton approved.

as part of this we did IMAP set up
and used the following code. and getting the notifications from Oracle to my mail box.
my main issue is when user approves the wf notifications, it is not showing my specified email address in the attribute #WFM_REPLYTO, always it is showing the IMAP set up wfdev address
what is the value i need to use for this #WFM_REPLYTO
eventhough i am sending the to_address email id to the following attribute(wf_engine.setitemattrtext), the workflow approval not working for that email id.
only if i am using the '[email protected]' in the imap set up, then only approval is working.
how can i override this to_email address value([email protected]) to my desired email address?

is that external Lync clients are logging in with out any issues.

Deploy a MUP-file with clientupgradeservice on Mobile Client
Hello CRM-Gurus,
i wanna deploy a MUP-File, which i have sent via CRM-Server to the client, on a mobile client.
The clientupgradeservice was running, but nothing happens.
I have imported the WB-Bdocs with conntrans. But I can't find neither the Upgrade-file with the mup nor the log-file of the upgrade!
If there someone, who knows what i have to do , so that the upgrade works fine?

check the following:
- the transport service is running in the MRS
- the necessary settings for the service have been set
- the service has been set up for the correct client
- in Tx smobrepmain the option "upgrade clients allowed" is set
- the sites have the both workbench subscriptions (language dependent/independent)
- Tx smohqueue is running, not on hold
- restart the service directly after sending a package or change the polling interval to a smaller value (or wait...)

I have configure the Notification Message function for the new task in UWL follow the guide below.

It does work on the server (BPM/CE7.11) in my office. (CE install in VMware along with mail Server, use same IP: 8.8.2.180)
But when I do the same thing on client's side, it just doesn't work out. (use the same VM instance, but in different Network environment)

In my opinion, the error has not completely fixed in KB2967628. After I install the latest November 2014 cumulative
update. I see the following behavior. User A searches for user B. User B never sign in to the Link. There are three fields in the active directory for User B: officePhone, mobilePhone and homePhone (these fields contain different numbers). When searching on
the mobile client (Android/IOS) for user B – as result user A see only mobile number. If User B At least once will go to Link (sign in) when his search will work, (find officePhone). If User B will change, the privacy settings for user A is in the search will
be displayed homePhone field.
On the Desktop client,
I can find all the fields without those actions performed in the example. If I make a request
