Sending pictures from the iphone to bluetooth ready printers

I was trying out a new HP printer the C309 and the printer is a bluetooth printer. The printer does see the iphone but the iphone doesnt see printer. Is there something wrong. I have other bluetooth devices already paired with no problems. I was just wondering if the iphone doesnt support printing pictures via bluetooth yet or what! Does anyone know about this?

The iPhone does not support printing via BT. FWIW, there are some printer specific apps that support printing via wifi.

I upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 8 with iTunes installed. Now my iPhone 4S is no longer recognized in iTunes. Connecting the iPhone with USB sends me directly to the MS app that downloads pictures from the iPhone. Suggest this is a question of missing Apple driver for Windows 8, iTunes and iPhone. MS does not care! This seems to be a general problem with Windows 8 that a number of drivers that used to work with Windows 7 now do not work, ie. iPhone to iTunes, HTC to HTCSync, Samsung to Kies etc. I need this connection to work in order to syncronize with Outlook and my iTunes library.

Maybe it would have been a better idea to confirm that iTunes is supported in Windows 8 before buying a computer with that Operating System.
There will be a new version of iTunes released this month... no one forced you to upgrade prior to a supported version of iTunes being released.

  • "...an error occurred while sending data from the iPhone" - caused by latest iPhone update today?

I've been syncing my iPhone to my (non-apple) desktop for several months without difficulty.
Today I accepted the latest upgrade to my iPhone software.
Since it installed, it will not sync.
It gives the error message "iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone "Steve's iPhone" because an error occurred while sending data from the iPhone."  After rebooting the desktop, the error repeats, and it's now in hour 2 of the continuing message "Syncing Steve's iPhone (Step 2 of 2) - Finishing sync"
Has anyone else run into this Undocumented Feature of the latest upgrade?
As bugs go, this is pretty serious for those of us who depend on syncing the iPhone and desktop for our business!
Thanks to anyone who can help!

Tried rebooting the phone, and now it works.
    Guess there's 2 lessons here -
Boot again when installing new SW, even if the phone reboots itself during installation, and
Boot to see if that fixes a problem before posting it.

I've resolved my problem now.  It wasn't iphoto: preferences:@ that I needed but iphoto:preferences:general where there is the option to choose email for sending photos.  Can't believe I missed that before.

  • Can't send pictures from the Photo app

At least since the last OS update, I can't text or email pictures from the Photo app. I can set it all up, but the pictures never send. Is there a fix for this please?
I have to go into Messaging or Mail and choose the picture from there.
It doesn't work with my iPhone 5 or my Mom's iPhone 4S.

If I send via email from either iPhone or iPad it seems like it has sent but it doesn't. If I send via text message from iPhone it says message failed to send and won't send again no matter how many times I try

  • How do I get pictures from the iPhone to my Windows 7 PC?

I am running Windows 7, and I have iTunes installed. When I connect my iPhone, iTunes opens automatically, but I can't access the pictures from Windows Explorer. It used to show up in Computer, but it suddenly stopped. I don't think anything has changed since then. How do I get the pictures onto my computer?

The only way you can get pictures FROM your iPhone to your computer is if you took the pictures with your iPhone. The only other way you can move photos from the iPhone is to mail them to yourself ( which is very time consuming). If you are trying to get photos from your computer TO your iPhone...in iTunes, click on "Photos" and make sure you check the photos you want to sync.............then sync.If you're still having problems, let me know.

  • GMail, IMAP and sending messages from the iPhone

I have recently switched from POP to IMAP. My ISP doesn't support IMAP, and so I get GMail to pop my ISP, and then download the messages from GMail with IMAP. Within GMail I have set things so that by default I can send a message through my GMail account using +my normal ISP's email address+; recipients are therefore unaware of my use of GMail - which is how I want it.
BUT ... messages sent from the iPhone show up as having been sent from my GMail address. Is there any way that I can change this, so they appear to have come from my normal address? I don't want to set up a second a/c on the iPhone, as I want all of the messages to stay within the GMail IMAP system.
GMail's web based >> >Settings >Accounts >Send mail as: >> facility does not seem to appear within the iPhone.
    Or am I missing something?
    Any assistance gratefully received

Many thanks for your reply - and I think that I understand what you are saying; however the GMail system does allow me to send a message using another "reply to" address so long as I have authenticated that email address within GMail first. I've been through that process, and I can send a message which appears to be from my normal ISP's address but in reality is sent through GMail (what some might refer to as using a spoofed address?) - but I can't do this from my iPhone.
If the restriction is insurmountable for the iPhone, I'll just have to revert to POP instead of IMAP, as I can then separate my normal address and my GMail address - it's just that a combined IMAP system would have been a more elegant solution ...
    Kind Regards,

  • Add/Send Invitation from the iPhone

Hi. Is there any Way to àdd an invitation (ics) to cal app from mail in the iPhone?
In mail, I only can see the attached file (the inviation) but I can't "open it".
Is it also possible to send someone an invitation from the iPhone?

I am upset by this also..... I am using google calendar via CalDav... I am SEE any appointment and edit it... However ANY appointment where someone was invited, I can NOT EDIT. Nor can I add an invite someone.
As a previous exchange server user, I know there was something where iphone recognized your NAME and that is how it would know that YOU made the apoointment and YOU can edit it. These appoinments, since they are part of chared calendars come fromt he calendar's url, not my name.
Does anyone have or know of a workaround? Maybe you can't edit because iphone doesn't know you are the owner.. that was the issue with exchange sever. I had the same issue UNTIl i changed my name in iphone to match EXACTLY what it is on exhcnage server (including case).l Since in this case, there is no name as each calendar is fferent, I don 't know how to do this.
If ANYONE knows what I am talking about and has some ideas to help please post to this thread.
    Thank you
    Mike

  • How to export Videos and Pictures from the iPhone 4 to my PC

    Hello together,
maybe this question will have a simple answer, but finding this answer seems to not so simple...at least for me...
I have several 100 photos and some videos (made by the iPhone 4) on my iPhone 4.
I want to export some fotos and also a video to my Windows PC to give these files to friend. For example the video is to long to send via Email. I would like to burn the files on a disc.
How can I export these files to my PC?
I tried to use a SW called ifunbox, but this SW always closes with an error message before even starting up.
I also found some information about copying pictures and videos directly to the PC via the Windows Explorer. Unfortunately my iPhone 4 is not listed in the Windows Explorer and I can not find the iPhone via the device manager...
    Can anybody help me?

    Hello roaminggnome,
thank you for the quick reply.
I tried Photoshop Elements, which is also mentioned in the pdf file you linked in your reply.
Unfortunately I can not select the iPhone 4 from the device list. It seems that the iPhone is not detected.
In iTunes I have no problems...
    ...any ideas...

  • How can I recover deleted pictures from the iphone? I accidentally honeymoon pictures, is there some sort of recycle bin feature?

How  can I recover deleted pictures? is there a recycle bin with iphone 4?

No recycle bin. When selecting Delete for a photo in the Camera Roll, a big red Delete Photo button is provided along with Cancel. Selecting Delete Photos means deleted.
Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. The Camera Roll is also included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. If you synced your iPhone with iTunes since the photos were captured by your iPhone and you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes again since the photos were deleted, you can try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup.
If you have an iCloud account, you have the option to update your iPhone's backup wirelessly which is automatic when your iPhone is connected to a power source while connected to an available wi-fi network. With an iCloud account, you also have the Photo Stream option. All photos captured by your iPhone are placed in your iCloud Photo Stream. Deleting a photo from your iPhone's Camera Roll does not delete the photo from your Photo Stream.

  • Sending mail from the iphone

I cannot send a mail from my iphone. receiving is OK, and stup is OK. Message is: the receiver was rejected by the server, because it does not allow relay-connections

Yup. So you need to use 2 different outgoing Servers. one for when you are on 3G and one for wifi connection
Your 3G outgoing SMTP server will be the server provided by your mobile carrier.. For example I have Telus and my outgoing server for sending mail on 3G is smtp.telus.net.  Contact your provider to get this info..
When you are connected to your wifi. use your ISP's or Google's SMTP server. This will allow you to send email either way.
To add more than 1 outgoing SMTP server do this:
Settings > Mail, contacts, calendars > Select the email account from the list > Select SMTP > you will see the Primary server in that list. > click on Add server. Enter the SMTP address in the Host name section. you shouldn't need a username/password
    Then hit save
it will attempt to setup the settings. It may also prompt you to "Setup without using SSL" You want to hit yes. it might ask twice.
After a few minutes it should get setup with both servers for that mail account. I have this setup on my phone as well as my dad's at his home.

  • Now you can SEND MMS from the iPhone!!! (UK Only)

There is a WebApp called 'O2mms' (http://o2mms.net) which has been out for a while that allows O2 iPhone users to view MMS messages that have been sent to their phone without going through the long process of the O2 Portal.
This has just been updated so that O2 iPhone users can now SEND MMS from their phone via the native Mail.app on the iPhone.
It works out at around 37p per message, but the creator, Ross McKilliop, is working at bringing the price down (you pay securely via PayPal from your iPhone)
I have tried and tested it and am happy to recommend it
