Sending plain request to web service using receiver sender adapter and PI and expecting as attachment as response
Hi
In my scenario,we are sending plain request to web service using receiver sender adapter and PI will receive response as excel attachment. What are standard module required to achieve this and sequence? or checking Keep attachment box will help us to achieve this?
is it possible to receive excel sheet as attachment from receiver soap adapter ?
Thanks in Advance
Hi,
This issue might be due to the invalid .pem certificate file.
Make sure to include the beginning and end tags on each certificate.
The result should look like this:
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
(Your Primary SSL certificate: your_domain_name.crt)
-----END CERTIFICATE-----
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
(Your Intermediate certificate: DigiCertCA.crt)
-----END CERTIFICATE-----

Send multiple files in different directories using Receiver File Adapter
Hi Experts,
I have one File to File without ESR scenario where I have to pick multiple files from different directories and to save them in different directories on receiver side.
Can anyne help me to send multiple files in different directories using receiver file adapter.
Is it possible??
Any help will be appreciated.
Regards,
Danishhi ,
that is possiable without esr,
we need to create one sender communication channel , in that we nend to use "adavnced selection for source file " for sending multiple files from multiple directories.
we need to create 'n' receiver communication channels and 'n' receiver agreements based on communication channels .
in receiver determination, provide multiple receivers
In interface determination , provide * symbol for receiver communication components

How to send request to web service using .pem certificate.
Dear All,
I have a .pem, WSDL file and (Request and Response format), this files are provided by the customer, now I have generated the ServiceClass using WSDL file using wsdl.exe.
Now when I send the request I am getting error as "The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error
occurred on a send" when I told my customer to remove the certificate validation from their web service the "Request
and Response both are working fine".
When I opened the .pem file in notepad the content was
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
dfkhdfhsdfghgfjhAklajdaJHZKkjjHAKJhjkhkjhkjhkjhkjJKJHKJ......................................
/R-----END CERTIFICATE-----
and nothing else was there as per my client my code is proper for sending request to web service but the using of file i.e .pem file is not proper.
I want to know what else I have to do my customer have given me only .pem file with -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- and -----END CERTIFICATE----- nothing else in the file.
Can anybody please help me in this, below is my code snapshot.
try

SMSReponse smsRes = sms.sendSMSOperation(smsReq);
MessageBox.Show(smsRes.Code + " = " + smsRes.Message + " = " + smsRes.Status);

How to send the payload to a jsp using receiver Http adapter?
Hi experts,
I have this scenario from Legacy to XI to external app server.I have a test jsp to execute that functionality .Its a jsp which has 1 textarea named "test" and when I click on the submit buton I get a response back.This way I am able to test this independently.Now from XI when I am executing my scenario I am getting status code '1250' and message as ' http request(test) is null'.Now in the scenario in http adapter I just provide the target host : ip of server ,
service number : port no ,
path: the container or the request handler. But this scenario fails and gives me the above erroneous response.Now Basically I am not able to get how to send the value to the textarea "test"? please provide help as soon as possible.Do we have to put the name of the jsp in the "path" in http adapter and use prolog as test=.I tried this but it doesnt work.
Is there any way to check the URL that it forms after appending the querystring in the url ...?
So please provide help on this or suggest a solution to [email protected] as soon as possible.....
Thanx in advance.
Akshatahey Shekhar,
thanx for that prompt reply but I have configured the communication channel in the same manner as suggested by u.
actually I have this jsp page http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8080/abcdef/try/efg.jsp where there is a textarea "test" which has to be filled and there is a submit button.When I test this http client i.e the above jsp page independently then it goes to handler
http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8080/abcdef/trial/ And it gives a proper response message after clicking on the submit button.
now I want to carry out the same using receiver http adapter. I need to pass the value for this inputfield names "test" on that jsp . so right now I have configyured the adapter as
addressing type: url
target host : xx.xx.xx.xx
service no:8080
path : here I have given the path of handler i.e /abcdef/trial I tried giving the jsp page also but logically I guess it should be the handler.
content type: text/xml; charset=iso-8859-1
xml code: UTF-8
Mask special characters (URL escaping) checked.
now since the name of the inputfield is "test" in the prolog I gave test=
But it doesnt work I get this error "http request parameter [test] is null" in the response message which I guess suggests that it is not able to send the value for the field"test" to that handler.Please suggest how to send this and tell me if there are any other configurations that I have to do in the receiver communication channel.
Thanx ,

We are using .asmx services for SharePoint features such as comments, and rating.
Service
Feature used
http://<<hostname>>/_vti_bin/socialdataservice.asmx
Commenting, Rating
http://<<hostname>>/_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx
For out of box workflows
In SharePoint 2013,
SharePoint – 80 web application is on claims based mode and user is logging in with windows authentication. With logged-in client context used to call SharePoint's default web service, we are getting below error message from
web service (Social data and user profile services).
Server was unable to process request. ---> The corresponding SID in the domain is not part of the intended account type.
When the service is accessed using console application with Visual Studio credentials (logged in user), we are able to access the service. Below is the code snippet
using (SocialDataService
service = new
SocialDataService())
service.Credentials =
CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials;
SocialCommentDetail detail = service.AddComment("<<url>>",

Are SharePoint 2013 web services not supporting request coming with claim based authentication web application?

Invoking a Web Service using XI 2.0
Hi all,
I am attempting to create a scenario where an SAP application invokes a web service through XI 2.0.
I have created an ABAP proxy to allow my ABAP to start the call process and have set up the message interfaces within the Integration Directory.
I want XI to receive a call from this proxy and then act as the client to an existing Web Service.. calling it and bringing back a response... but it doesn't look like I can import the existing WSDL as a I would have expected.
So... instead I have exported the Message Interface for the "out of XI" portion of the interface as a WSDL and have asked the Web Service provider to amend their service according to this XI generated WSDL.
My difficulty now is how to use the SOAP adapter. Within the Integration Directory I presumably need to define the endpoint with XI Connectivity but I am not sure how to fill in the URL address of the SOAP adapter...
Any help on how to configure the actual SOAP adapter to fulfill this requirement would be great too.
I have looked around the boards to see if I could work this out from previous posts but without success so far.
It's a synchronous scenario and basically should look like...
ABAP Proxy->XI->SOAP Adapter->Web Service->XI->ABAP Proxy
Many thanks,
GordonHi Gordon,
here is an example for SOAP-Adapter config:
# Bubble adapter java class
classname=com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.ModuleBubble
# Sets the bubble module helper that can instantiate your bubble bag
Bubble.Helper=com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.ModuleBubbleHelperXMBWSImpl
###### Part 0 (FromWS and ToWS) : common part ######
# Keeps the XMB headers in web service messages
XMBWS.KeepHeaders=false
# Encodes the xmb headers into a special HTTP header string x-xmb_ws_encoded
XMBWS.UseEncoded=false
# The target URL for the web service, to which the adapter sends web service messages.
# The address is part of the WSDL
XMBWS.TargetURL=http://www.extensio.com:8080/ExtensioInfoServer/servlet/rpcrouter
# Proxy configuration from SAP
XMBWS.proxyHost=PrOxY
XMBWS.proxyPort=8080
# The port and path where the adapter waits for XMB messages from clients.
XMBWS.XMBPort=8400
XMBWS.XMBPath=/soap/stockquote
# The default SOAPAction HTTP request header to the web Service server
# The SoapAction is part of the WSDL
XMBWS.DefaultSOAPAction=
Of course you have to set URL, proxy and SOAP-action to your belongings.
You define the endpoint as:
"http://<Adapter-Server>:<XMBPort><XMBPath>"
in this example:
"http://localhost:8400/soap/stockquote"

Calling RFC-enabled function as web service using XI 3.0
Hi,
I have a problem when trying to use web services (sending a soap-req. to XI 3.0 based on the generated WSDL from Integration Directory).
According to the message monitoring, all steps in the central pipeline executes just fine until the last step - CALL ADAPTER.
I don't think this is an authorization issue since I have tested the XIISUSER/pwd against the URL for adapter engine.
Seems to me that the problem is related to the msg sent to AE:
"HTTP response contains status code 401 with the description Unauthorized XML tag Envelope missing in SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)"
How to proceed from here?Hi Torstein,
<i>Seems to me that the problem is related to the msg sent to AE:

According to you, the problem occurs within the SOAP envelope. Does your incoming SOAP message looks like the one below here?
If that's not the case, then make sure your SOAP/Web Service client is sending a valid SOAP envelope/request (like the sample below) to XI.

Unallowed RFC-XML Tag (SOAP_EINVALDOC) - Web Service using ABAP Proxy
Hi there
I am trying to consume a Web Service using ABAP Proxies. I have done the following in the system:
I configured the HTTP and HTTPS Proxy settings.
I created a package with package interfaces SAI_TOOLS and SAPPINT included under the Use Access tab.
I created the proxy classes by using the WSDL provided by the system I'm trying to interface with.
I created my HTTP destination RFC via SM59.
I configured a logical port for the proxy.
I developed the ABAP code for calling the proxy.
In the code the exception CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT gets raised with error message <b>"Unallowed RFC-XML Tag (SOAP_EINVALDOC)"</b> when I call the method for passing data to the destination system in the proxy class.
I had a look at SM21 and the following message was written in the log:
<b>"SOAP Runtime: SOAP Runtime exception: 111 occurred in method XP_READ_TAG of class CL_SOAP_XP at position 1
SOAP Runtime: Exception message: Unallowed RFC-XML Tag (SOAP_EINVALDOC)"</b>. I also looked at SAP Note 919886 which states that it can be dumps in the system, missing configuration or the path prefix of the RFC destination that is incorrect. I cannot find any ST22 entries. The trace file looks as follows:

Weblogic queues each request from Web Services client
Hello everyone,
Currently, I have a performance issue deploying a web services application on Weblogic 11g Patch1 (10.3.2).
There are 40 clients which consume Web Services. After Weblogic queues each requests (40 requests) which takes about 2 or 3 minutes, then it starts to process the request (i.e. try to connect AuotVue Server with a servlet called VueServlet).
I also found that during the process of queuing, even I ping the VueServlet or Web Services WSDL file in IE, it will take a long time to response.
Look like all the weblogic resource is used to receive the requests and no resource is available for VueServlet.
The problem happens when I deploy WS on windows 2003 server which is VMware machine with 3G RAM, and it doesn't happen when I deploy it on Windows 2008 server with 4 G RAM and duo cpu.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you very much.
SongMaybe there are some problems with WebLogic and Windows 2003. See also this thread Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) Installation Problem on Win 2003 Server SP2
I think it would be handy if you file a support request. -
Call MTOM web service using pl/sql (utl_http)
Hi All,
Is anyone able to call a MTOM web service using utl_http from pl/sql ?
A typical request looks like this:
--uuid:fd1fbed8-7042-4673-a304-becc1ffb037f+id=1
Content-ID: <http://tempuri.org/0>
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Content-Type: application/xop+xml;charset=utf-8;type="text/xml"
<s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><s:Body>......</s:Body></s:Envelope>
uuid:fd1fbed8-7042-4673-a304-becc1ffb037f+id=1
A microsoft C# tool is provided to generate some requests and using fiddler I can see the content type is in the header as well as in the request. In the requests it doesn't contain the UID. Connection is set to keep-alive, is that possible using pl/sql ?
The part that builds the header looks like:
l_http_request := UTL_HTTP.begin_request(url => 'http://' || l_host_name || ':' || l_port || '/CRUDService.svc', method => 'POST', http_version => 'HTTP/1.1');
UTL_HTTP.set_header(l_http_request, 'Host', l_host_name || ':' || l_port);
UTL_HTTP.set_header(l_http_request, 'SOAPAction', '"action"');
UTL_HTTP.set_header(l_http_request, 'Content-Length', LENGTH(l_string_request));
UTL_HTTP.set_header(l_http_request, 'Content-ID', '<http://tempuri.org/0>');
UTL_HTTP.set_header(l_http_request, 'Content-Transfer-Encoding', '8bit');
UTL_HTTP.set_header(l_http_request, 'Content-Type', 'multipart/related; type="application/xop+xml";start="<http://tempuri.org/0>";boundary="uuid:fd1fbed8-7042-4673-a304-becc1ffb037f+id=1";start-info="text/xml"');
I've played with the request by adding or removing information, the http response is (400) "Bad Request - Invalid Header", so should be somewhere in the header? Anyone ideas?
Kind regards,
MichielHI Michiel
I am also trying to achieve something similar to that. I am trying to call a web service that sends an xml attachment over MTOM? Kindly, let me know if this was achievable from your end? I mean how did the issue got resolved.

Issue with calling an external web service using web service proxy
Hi,
I've created several web services using JDeveloper succesfully in the past, however I'm getting an issue with one that was working ok previously. Have spoken to the developers of the external web service and they say they haven't changed anything. Also if I test the external web service through soapUI for example it seems fine so it would seem that the issue is with the autogenerated code created by JDeveloper.
Basically I get the following exception as it sends the request to the external service:
java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Bad Authentication header format: 'Basic realm="Integration Server" encoding="UTF-8"'
Expected "," at position 33
The user name/password appear correct.
JDev version 10.1.3.42.70
Any ideas?
Many Thanks
Gary
Edited by: user10916721 on 08-May-2012 09:54Found the answer. Basically I had one proxy web service working and one not both linking to a middle tier written in web methods. THe issue actually ended up being with the web methods code in that the one web service (that was not working) was put together using a backwards compatability mode. Once this was switched back then started working again in JDev.

Send Multipart message in web service
Hi All,
I have configured IDoc-SOAP-File scenario successfully.
Now My sender and receiver structure is changed.
I mean in my Idoc i cn have node repeated number of times and so i have changed my occurace at wsdl file also, so tht for all web service will be call only once and response will also have 1-unbound occurance.
When i run sceanrio...i m able to send Idoc with multiple node in it and request is futher sent to web service.
But in response i m gettin response only for first one as web service is just sending/accepting (?) data for 1st occurance of node.
Please guide me for same tht how i can send multiline data to web service and accept multiline responce.

Q: My web service expects a SOAP with multiple elements in the SOAP body. How can I create such SOAP message?
Check if you have done the setting as mentioned in the answer.

Obtaining the WSDL and sending a message (like Web Services)
Hi All,
Is it possible to use a service interface defined in XI as any other web service? Consider the following scenario.
1. Create an async service interface (outbound) in XI (This has a message mapping and the message goes to some inbound interface).
2. Can we write an external application (a Java swing client or something) which can send a message to this service interface?
3. While writing a normal web services client we specify the url of the WSDL and then send a SOAP message using some APIs.
4. Can this be achieved in XI? If so could you provide me some links or blogs etc to have some idea about this. Also how do we specify the URL of the interface.
5. I have seen a similar application (an HTML file) which takes the XML payload (conforming to the message type of the interface) and sends the message to the interface. In this case the URL is formed from sender namespace, server name, port etc. The name of this HTML is XIHttp_adapter.html.
6. Can somebody give me more inputs in this direction?
Many Thanks,
SandeepHi Sandeep,
The Info below should surely help you find an answer.
If you're on WAS 6.20 and up, you can expose an RFC as a webservice directly from WAS.
Or if youre on Basis layer 4.6D, you'll need to use XI (or some other integration tool) to expose the RFC as a webservice.
To do this in XI you'll need to:
Integration Repository
1) Import the RFC
2) Define a message and datatype for the SOAP interface
3) Create inbound and outbound interfaces
4) Create maps between the RFC and SOAP messages
5) Create an interface map
Integration Directory
1) Create an RFC Receiver Channel
2) Create a SOAP Sender Channel
3) Generate the WSDL (Tools->Define Web Service)
You can then handoff the WSDL and a login username and password to your developer and they will have everything they need to make the WS call.
Here are answers to a few doubts u might have:
1) Do I need to actually create a WS that calls the RFC ? Isnt the virtual interface exposed by the XI sufficient?
Yes, you need to create a WS in XI that calls the RFC.
2) If I really have to create the WS and deploy it in order to expose it with the XI, then what is my benefit of exposing it with the XI, why not just exposing it as a normal WS ?
You don't have WAS 6.20 or up. Even if you did, you may still want to expose it using XI in order to have all of your integration go through the same application.
3) If I expose my web service through the XI, how does the client application executes one of its methods? To which url does it have to access (the XI or the actual WS)?
You expose a SOAP interface in XI by generating a WSDL file. This file contains all of the information a developer will need to call the webservice including the URL.
You actually specify the URL when you generate the WSDL. Be sure to read the documentation to get the correct format because the URL that the wizard suggests isn't correct.
Also check this Pdf for the Receiever SOAP Adapter configuration:
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/40728f7b-0401-0010-d9bc-8c73884a3789
Also the target URL must be the URL to the WSDL. So, if you try putting it in your browser you must see the wsdl code.Please do ensure the same.....
I hope this helps.

Abhy
