Sending Response to HTTPPost request

Question

I have a form that submits to a JSP page which does processing on the back end. Someone needs to submit to this page via HTTPPost and they want some type of response back letting them know that the data was processed on the backend. How do I do this via the JSP page?

unless i missed something this is simple form processing
this would b page that accepts posted form data
// check post params, if ok goto next
// do something with posted data, if ok goto next
// couple of options here for both cases of 'all_ok' and 'something went wrong' both are same just different pages in syntax

<jsp:forward page="all_ok.jsp" /> /* or */ <jsp:forward page="something_wrong.jsp" />
// option 2
response.sendReditect("all_ok.jsp"); /* or */ response.sendReditect("something_wrong.jsp");
// option 3
use either of above for one case and fall through to end of this code for other case,
so say, if all_ok, redirect to confirm page for back_end actions otherwise follow through to end of this code and display an error, or redirect back to form using above methods
