i written code for my report and actually my requirement is to send the result of this report directly to the printer without displaying the list.
could u plz guide me how to go for this task.

We have to schedule the reports for auto delivery to users at a specific time period. Please, tell me the mechanism to schedule them and how to assign prompt values to them. Currently, the reports are run by users by selecting prompts from the dashboard. If we schedule them, we will have to add some of these prompts dynamically and then send the results to users via email.

Hi,
I haven't tested it myself...but may be the following steps can help you.
Fill some session variables depending on the the name of the user who logs in (this can be done easily be creating different session variables and put some executing order in it)
Then you use these session variables as default values for your prompts. So the report will be executed making use of this default values.
And by scheduling your ibot..you can send it by mail.
I don't know if it's this what you're looking for...probably you have to base your prompt values depending on the users that are selected in your ibot?

but it can't be work when put it into the printer server ,

Send the result of a query by email

I want to execute a query in a procedure and send the result in an email using the utl_smtp package. I have send a one line messages based on the result received based on a query. But I'm not sure how to send the entire result of the query as a message body. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,

Doesn't it depend on what you want to send, do you want the results as just text in the e-mail or an attachment? Do you want csv, xls, xml? Once we know what you want to send we can probably give you some guidance on how you might best create the result you want. If you're already sending an e-mail you can easily add an attachment to the e-mail which would probably be your best bet as you don't know the size of the result set (?). I reckon this will be more of an issue around how you turn your results into a format that you can send rather than how you send it.

We have a report. It creates quotation. It automatically sends the report to the printer.
in nace transction - for the particular quotation type - the output types are defined. The output types for printer, Fax, External Send and Edi is defined.For printer, the processing routine is zprogram.
I want to send this report to the user through email. What i have to do? Whether i have to modify the zprogram or i have to define seperately output types for email also, without modifying the program?

Send the result from SM36 run to a recepient

Hi Gurus!
After defining a job in the background , is it possible to have the report sent to a particular receipient through mail saying that the report ran with success or error. I mean a program has been fixed to run in the background everyday . Instead of me checking the result in sm37 everyday , can an automation be done such that teh report goes to my functional person everday stating the report .

1. Instead of sending a mail stating that the report ran with success or error, you can send the report output(spool) to the mail recipient. If no spool is generated(table update program), then use a WRITE command in the program at the end stating 'Program executed successfully'. This will generate the spool. Mention the recepient while defining the background job in SM36 ..button "SPOOL LIST RECIPIENT".
Per the above solution, can u please tell me the steps for WRITE Command for

Field"Code group" is not in the result for report CRM_SRV_REPORT

For the tx CRM_SRV_REPORT - Service Process Monitor, the field "Code group" is not in the standar result, but, is in the initial screen for filter selection.
This field is not available in the layout modification.
How can I add this field to the layout of the result list?

Additional field cannot be added in the layout of the result list.
If you will observe the code of the report CRM_TSRV_REPORT, in the field catalog, there is not Code, code group etc., hence it is not seen in the layout.
Since it is a std report it cannot be modified, either u can create a Z report by copying this or u can raise an OSS message for this.

How can i make the results of dos command print to text area in a gui????

I need to get the results from a command line application to print in a text area located in a gui... i have the following code written, which should run the command... if run from a dos window, the command prints the list of what's in a jar file to the screen.... i want that info that is printed to go in a text area which i have named textBox which is global to the program.. i know textBox.appends() is what i should use but how do i retrieve the info from the dos window to put in the appends method?

How to send the weekly status report to other users

I only have two clients that I have hosted on the BC, and neither client has access to the business catalyst. Every Monday the system generates a website usage report and sends me an e-mail for the statistics of these sites. Other than forwarding the e-mail from my account to their account is there a way to set it up where the system will send the report to my clients? Thanks in advance… Butch

The only thing that matters is for the respective users to have the weekly report checked in their user options: http://prntscr.com/3oxqtw. With that in place, you can limit their access as much as possible.

Editing symbol in Illustrator cs3 sends the result miles off artboard?

When I enter "edit mode" of an illustrator CS3 symbol (to be used in flash), upon exiting edit mode, the symbol leaves the art board only to be found far away in the upper left corner of the document. Moreover, this cannot be undone!
Any thoughts?

You could provide a sample . ai file, so other users may inspect it and see if they can observe the same issue as you do.

Normally you click Quiz > Quiz Settings (might be Quiz
Preferences) and look at the Reporting node. You enable it and
configure the options for your specific LMS. Each LMS is likely to
be different and will require different settings here.
To my knowledge it is not a XML file that is used. I believe
most of it is done with JavaScript.
