Sent emails sending multiple times

After one week my new iPad is resending "sent" emails multiple times. They continue to be in my outbox as not sent. This isn't for every one. I am using a pop 3 account through Exchange and a Gmail account. I have deleted and reentered the accounts per apple tech to no avail. The only way to stop the constant resending is to edit my outbox and delete all of them. Any ideas? I have one day to return my iPad! I am on wifi not cellular yet.

  • Text sending multiple times and not receiving all text on verizon messages website

    I've been using the Verizon Messages app since it was pretty much released. Overall it's worked well, however yesterday for some reason it started sending multiples of my same text to the recipient every 5-10 minutes. It continued for those persons dozens of times with the last text I would send. It didn't matter if I was sending it from my phone's (Moto Droid RAZR Maxx) verizon messaging app or the verizon messaging website. I signed in and out of the verizon messaging website but that didn't change anything. I then restarted my phone and it stopped sending multiples.
    However since that time, I now am not getting text on the verizon messaging website from anybody. I receive them on my phone's app, but not on the website. Have tried different browsers, different computers, logging off and on, but it's not reflecting the text I've received. My phone's app is getting 100% of the text as far as I'm aware.
    Anything to try on this matter would be great.

    My apologies for the issues that are occuring with your VZW Messages application. Are you opening all of the messages directly on your device? If you do not open one of the messages, does this message show online? Are you able to send messaging from the computer based website? Please keep us posted, thanks!

  • Pic sent through gmail to other phone being send multiple times

    I have a problem while emailing pictures to my friends phones so they can receive them as an MMS text. I've tried a few times to send it to a Verizon phone ([email protected]). The first time I tried it they got the picture about 2 days later. When it finally went through they received it about 20 times that day, the only thing that made it stop sending is when I went to the send messages folder and deleted the email. I've also tried it a second time and they got the message right away, then about 10 seconds later they got it again. I deleted the email before they could receive even more copies. This has happened to 2 different people.
    Has any one else been having this problem? I've posted this before and I was told to open up a different account such as Hotmail or Yahoo to see if those work. I never bothered to try since it I just have a Gmail account and want it to work for the Gmail account, I shouldn't have to open a separate account for pics.
    I was hoping in this last update they would include the option to use MMS for those who want it (such as myself), but if this whole emailing method worked correctly then I really wouldn't have a problem with it.
    Anybody have any ideas to what is going on and how to correct this with out have to open a separate account?

    So I take it that I'm the only one that's having this problem?

  • Scan to email sends wrong time

    After setting up my 8600 Plus, I installed the Scan to Email app with all the correct input info.  The device is connected through my network and displays the correct time and date on the front panel.  However, when I send a "Scan to Email", it arrives to the receipent with a time stamp that is 7 hours earlier than the email was sent.  I've tried to reset the time and restart the 8600 but it still indicate the email was sent earlier than it actually was.  Any help?

    I have exactly the same problem.  I have wasted 10's of hours trying to get this resolved since December when I purchased this printer.  I used the checkbox you suggested many times over the last months and it does not affect the time in the received email.  I have tried changing the timezone on my computer, using the checkbox on the printer web interface, and then resetting the timezone on my computer to see if I can affect the printers timezone.  The scan-to-email time does not change.  I had this same problem on my last HP printer (HP8500) and it was not ever fixed.  On that model, I could affect the timezone on the printer using the checkbox, but the best I could get is a 7 hour error and with the correct timezone on my computer the error was 14 hours.  I am in Mountain Tiime.  Also, why is there no timezone setting in the printer's LCD panel settings? I am very very dissapointed in HP for never addressing this issue across multiple printer models!  I have participated in multiple HP forums where we have been told that the problem is being worked on.  Several new firmwares have been released with no fix for this problem.  With my prior HP8500, I had been on the phone with HP tier 2 support and they verified the problem while I was on the phone, but a year later the problem was never addressed!! I  have managed complex high-tech product development programs and have managed engineering departments developing products at least as complex as these printers.  I would never allow a product to be released with a simple problem such as this, or if it was not caught during development, I would have it fixed immediately to keep my customers happy.  This is a simple firmware coding problem which shouldn't take more that a few hours to fix! It doesn't appear that HP cares about their customers anymore.  I have been buying and recommending HP printers for decades, but I may not be able to support HP in the future since they don't support me.

  • Texts Send Multiple Times if Low Signal

    I just posted about a bug where a message disappears, but that reminded me of another longstanding bug I'd like to report.
    Sometimes in an area of low signal [1 bar], the following happens when I send a text message:
    Text is sent and moves up to conversation as grey message.
    Grey message stays grey a very long time.
    Message may turn black or may have "!" in yellow triangle and give error message.
    About 75% of the time, the recipient actually receives the message even when it says otherwise.  What's worse, it seems to be trying and trying to send the message, because usually the recipient receives multiple copies.
    I have inadvertently done this where it was received 6 times [6 is high--usually it's 2 or 3 times] and still the message was reported as not sent.  I get that it's harder to send a message in areas with low signal but this seems like a bug that needs to be addressed.

        Text messages is one of my favorite features on my phone so I completely understand the need of it working as it should. Which model device do you have and what is your zip code? Is anyone else having issues with text messages?

  • Mail sends multiple times

    1st gen iPad repeatedly sends email over and over again, if launched by 3rd party app, like Safari or Pulse to email a link. Usually I catch it and terminate mail, but on Sunday I had the volume muted and didn't catch it. Sent an email to a dozen friends 76 times!  Talk about embarrassing. I have tried to restore, new setup, remove and add back emails one at a time. Nothing seems to make a difference.
    Am I the only one with this problem?  I posted several months ago, but never received any feedback. TIA for any advice. Other than this issue, I love my iPad.

    No, actually it is a Comcast POP account. I verified 76 copies in the sent folder, as well as my wife who also got copied received 76 as well. I can't remember when this first started, but it was well before version 4.0.

  • Adding Java Server nodes Causes msgs to send multiple times

    i added 2 more server nodes in our system for load distribution and after turning on the comm channel, i see that every msg goes three times now.
    I have tried removing these 2 server nodes and then it sends it one time only. I dont know whats wrong and why it sends a msg three times with three server nodes.
    Can anybody help me with this?

    With which adapter(s) are you having this issue ?  I had a consultant from SAP tell me to avoid multiple JVM nodes with JDBC, and maybe he said file too.  He didn't have a solution, just sounds like it doesn't work too well (yet).

    If I remember correctly, the format of the database for PSE was changed around version 4. So the error message that Beachcomber was seeing may have been generated by the old database system.
    Version 4 used Microsoft Access as the database engine, not sure about version 5. Anyway I am sure that from version 6, the sqlite database engine was used.

  • IMAP sent emails & drafts not syncing - MS Outlook 2007

    Hello, I am having issues syncing the sent items from desktop outlook 2007 to my passport. I have been trying this figure this out for the past 3 days and hoping someone here can be of some assiastance. I have done the following:- checked the outlook save sent option- deleted and reinstalled email account multiple times on both ends - outlook and passport- been on the phone with BB tech supprt - file logs have been sent to their escalation team. everything seems normal- been on the phone with my site host - bluehost. everything looks good on their end In a nutshell: - when i send an email from my desktop outlook (2007) i do not get a copy of the sent mail on my device- when i send an email from my device (passport) i do not get a copy of the sent mail on my desktop outlook- i also do not get draft copies going both ways- everything worked fine in BB OS 7 The link from this seems to be broken - https://clients.websavers.ca/whmcs/knowledgebase/115/Keeping-your-Sent-folder-in-sync-across-devices.html From what i have been reading many people seem to have this issue. Any inputs are greatly appreciated.     If using an SMTP relay for out going emails on an IMAP account, the Passport wont keep a copy that you can save this is true with Outlook as well if this is a personal email account, i would suggest using Outlook.com to pull your emails from this account so you can use Active Sync and get the Outlook.com connector for outlook 2007 with the new email account. then setup Passport with Active sync. you wont miss any messages since it will pull from old account and everything will sync nice with out the need of other software or cables

  • Droid Eris 2.1 OTA update 7/18/10 - Email Send Issue?

    I installed the pushed OTA Android 2.1 update yesterday (7/18/10).  Since then I cannot send emails over the 3G network.  I have checked my email settings multiple times.  It can send emails fine if I disable "mobile" and enable "Wifi", but not if both are anabled together.  Anyone else having this issue?  Any awareness and suggestions from Verizon?

    1. I called Verizon - >  they said call HTC.
    2. I called Insight (my ISP, email provider) to verify servers, security, port setings.  All check out OK.  Exactly what I used before the OTA android 2.1 update, and it worked fine.
    3. I called HTC - > they said my ports much be wrong...call Insight again.
    4. I called Insight again - set-up and ports still check out OK and there are no alternatives.
    The only thing I have not done yet is check if sending email over WiFi works on other networks (I've only tried at home over insightbb.com)
    Not sure what to do after that....
    I get 3G arrows blinking on the phone seemingly indicating activity when I try to send a message, but they clearly go nowhere.
    I get no error messages during set-up of my email account (everything verifies as I go through the steps).  I get no error messages when I send a message. Everything shows up in my "Sent" folder as if it went through. 
    So, all indications appear normal, but something isn't working.
    Any ideas?  Verizon...?
    Can I get my phone's previous software version back?  It worked fine with the same settings.

    We send only 10 transactions from backend applications to supplier via B2B, I mean
    From backend application to B2B and From B2B to supplier, but these 10 transaction sending multiple times by supplier.
    Our Supplier complianing that they are receiving multiple transactions and it screwing their system.
    Could anyone help me how to resolve this.

    Hi CNU,
    Please check your report console, to make sure that how many times B2B has sent the transactions (OR how many transactions your B2B sent).
    It may be perhaps because your B2B is expecting a FA back and if it is not getting one in an estimated time, then it is retrying the same message again. What are the retry count settings at your side?

    That's really a big change for me. I have 30 JSF pages, and an average 2 links per page. So, I'm touching more than 60 places to implement this change.
