Serializing SearchClient in Yahoo SDK

Hello
I am writing an agent that will search the web using the yahoo web services. My problem is that I need the agent to be Serializable but the class SearchClient which is responsible for all communication between the client and yahoo webservice is not, so I cant't run my agent.
Does anyone have any idea how I can make the SearchClient class Serializable. bello is the code for the agent.

return res;

} // end of SearchAgent

Thanks for the reply.
But the agent is suppose to move from one place to another place so it should be serializable, but the Searchclient is not so for this reason the agent can not register itself with the manager. This means that I won't have the agent because no one can see it and can't use it.

  • Memleak tool cannot get license for itself

    I am using BEA JRockit JDK 5.0 Update 6 (R26.4.0-63). I have copied the license from http://ftpmain.bea.com/download/pub/license/jrockit_mc/LIC-JRMC50-DEV.txt
    to c:/jrockit/jre/license.bea.
    I started my java app using the jrockit jvm, with -Xmanagement switch.
    it says JMX connector started on port 7091.
    So I start jconsole from cmdline, and connect to agent at localhost:7091.
    So far so good. But now when I start memleak tool and connect to JRockit at localhost:7091 using RJMX. First it said license file doesnt have component for the memory leak component, and later it says it has been tampered with although I am just copying the file at above site to the license.bea file. If I get rid of the file, it complains that c:/jrockit/jre/license.bea not found. So it is the correct location and name, it's just the content that is disliked.
    I copy below the exact license file content that I am using :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <bea-licenses>
    <license-group format="1.0" product="JRockit" release="*">
    <license
    component="JRA"
    cpus="unvalued"
    expiration="never"
    hours="1"
    ip="any"
    licensee="BEA Evaluation Customer"
    serial="650522264138-1872638203592"
    type="SDK"
    signature="MCwCFCC5DUGW/KHYjfcjK1BNMzVSZ3IuAhQXwcewPrNetzBV6eYy3eeH6cKCfg=="
    />
    <license
    component="Memory Leak Detector"
    cpus="unvalued"
    expiration="never"
    hours="1"
    ip="any"
    licensee="BEA Evaluation Customer"
    serial="650522264138-1872638203592"
    type="SDK"
    signature="MC0CFELzaoNnTOu+c3zii7Odkgs/FVDkAhUAk9c3Fw2xXoAr2yJ3E3Wth5S167k="
    />
    </license-group>
    </bea-licenses>

    I can't reproduce this. I tried the steps you detailed and I used the license file you copy-pasted in. It works with no problems.
    I'm not really sure what could go wrong for you. You can try -Xverbose:license to see which licenses JRockit thinks it has. Can you start memleak without starting jconsole first? Are you using the jconsole.exe and memleak.exe in the R26.4.0-63 distribution and not some other versions?

  • BEA Server license

    Hi,
    We recently installed WeblogicExpress Server 8.1 on a production machine with
    4 cpus (Windows 2000 Server).
    We used the license file from bea with license for 4 CPUS.
    However, when we monitor the system, it looks like only one CPU is being used.
    I am afraid the production license may not be working and we are still running
    on the evaluation license.
    How can I verify/correct this?

    Just open weblogic license file and it should look like that of below.Check for IP address,cpu section,expiration.Unvalued CPU means license is for as much cpu you have physically as weblogic couldn't able to translate from version 7 to 8.
    Default license will have first few lines like below

  • Install sdk crash with window xp, + yahoo game problems

    Hi all,
    Currently, I have install java sdk, version 1.4.1_02 into two computers, which using Chinese Window XP, before installing sdk, windows act normally.
    1. However, after the installation of java, some interface in windows, especially the toolbar of 'Start', the mouse cursor and some interface keep on flashing.
    2. I would like to know if those games in yahoo are written by using java, if so, I would like to know why even I using chinese version xp still cannot view they become some random characters) those chinese words in the games.
    3. Last question, I would like to know why, when I use a application to write chinese character (those pen -write device), the focus seems go entirely to that application and cannot go back that text field in the yahoo game again?(unless I close that application)

    Your gonna have to e-mail Yahoo about the last question 2 questions. This forum is about developing games, not technical support of others games. Oh, and there is a forum here specific for SDK installation issues. Try a search for your question there:

  • ME SDK 8.0 EA Device Manager - Problems with Serial COM-Connection

    I caught a first glimpse at the new ME SDK 8.0 - so far I have been working only with very old JavaME-Stuff on a Cinterion-TC65i-Chip.
    Want to connect my Raspberry Pi via serial COM-Connection with the SDK-8.0-EA-Device-Manager. (due to security reasons I'm not allowed to connect the Pi via LAN/Wifi)
    But the problem is the ME SDK 8.0 EA Device Manager only offers me COM4 (this is my built-in UMTS-Modem) - even though my target-COM-Device isn't busy at all.
    A serial connection via Putty and USB2Serial-Cabel (FTDDI) works fine and I can get on my Raspberry.
    Is there any reason or restriction I don't know for being unable to use my dedicated COM-Port? Or do I have to make any additional adjustments in hidden SDK-Property-files?
    In my opinion the device manager using COM should offer me the same possibilities as an IP-Connection regarding the target-device (transfering my Jad/jar to the device, installing them and starting them).
    There is something in the SDK-get-Started Docu about "Connecting to a UART Device" I'm not really cotton on . Is this information concerning me even though I'm using a Raspberry PI?
    To put my files manually via USB-Stick or Z-Modem on the PI is a tad of inconvinient.
    Any ideas? Or am I completely off track understanding your SDK-Tooling?
    Thx and best regards

    Hi,
    For the Raspberry Pi, tooling over serial port is not supported. The simplest solution is to use standard IP networking over Ethernet. This can be a direct connection between the PC and the Raspberry Pi, as long as the cable is twisted and the IP addressing is correct (e.g. manual IP addressing or DHCP server on the PC).
    Regarding "Connecting to a UART Device": This is meant for attaching and controlling serial devices from the Raspberry Pi, not for tooling connections between the Raspberry Pi and the PC.
    Hope this helps,

  • How To Select serial Numbers using SDK

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to add an inventory transfer document which is managed serially using DI PI . I need functionality of auto serial number select for that item. As when we do this from front end the serial number selection window is opened an we choose serial number or select auto method . Same thing i need in my scenario using SDk.
    Thanks

  • How to access the serial port on sdk 3.1.3 ?

    Hi all,
    I know that accessing serial port is not possible on firmware 2.x for non jailbroken iPhones.
    But what about firmware 3.0?
    Apple has focused firmware 3.0 on accessories, through bluetooth or through serial port. So, accessing serial port should be possible.
    But I can't find any documentation / sample code for that.
    Would you please help me?
    Regards,
    Alx
    PS: I tried to read the port /dev/cu.iap and get this message:
    Error opening serial port /dev/cu.iap - Permission denied(13).
    Looks bad.

    Yes I am enregistred in the Mad For iPod program?
    And I try to communique with my accessorie

  • Help with Xcode 3.2.6 with ios sdk 4.3: will not work...

    So I recenty upgraded my Mac to OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and the xcode that came with it would not work effectively. I just downloaded xcode 3.2.6 with ios sdk 4.3 from Apple and installed them (after having to change the date to 2011). Xcode worked but opening the interface builder resulted in a blank window opening, not the actual interface builder. So then I tried to reinstall the .dmg file of xcode and ios sdk, which was again successful, but when I click on any of the applications it installs to open them I get an error. This is what happens when trying to open xcode:

    Can anyone please help me? Ps, I've changed the directory location to "myname" for security reasons;p so that is not the problem

    The error message is telling you that the linker is looking for the Xcode executable on your desktop and can't find it. Where did you install Xcode? The default location is in /Developer.
    It sounds like you have an outdated alias to Xcode on your desktop. Can you launch Xcode if you navigate to Xcode in the Finder and launch it from there?

  • Delivery notes and serial numbers

    Hi
    I have a simple SQL question.
    How do I get the serial numbers in "plain SQL"?
    The SDK "Help Center" shows that I can get the delivey notes from the ODLN table and then dig into the DLN1 rows and get the list of items. However, serial numbers are within the OSRI table (OSRI.IntrSerial).
    How can I "bridge" DLN1 with OSRI? Or, how do I get all serial numbers related to an item of a delivery note in "simple SQL selects"?

    Hi Vieri.
    You have to link to table SRI1 where saves the transactions you made with transactional documents where includes items with serial numbers. The query could be as follows:
    SELECT ODLN.DOCDATE, ODLN.DOCNUM, OSRI.SUPPSERIAL  FROM OSRI
    JOIN SRI1 ON (SRI1.SYSSERIAL = OSRI.SYSSERIAL)
    JOIN ODLN ON (ODLN.DOCENTRY = SRI1.BASEENTRY)
    JOIN DLN1 ON (DLN1.ITEMCODE = OSRI.ITEMCODE)
    WHERE ODLN.DOCENTRY = 5
    ORDER BY ODLN.DOCDATE DESC
    I don´t know by the moment if via SDK you can read this information.
    I hope it helps.
    Best regards.

  • How can I read a serial port using XCode?

    Hello,
    I'm using an iMac 2009 with Mac OS X 10.6.7. I have a USB to Serial cable and I want to connect a hardware I made using a microprocessor Microchip PIC to my mac. I'd like to read values from the serial port and also write values to it. I'm already able to do this using the Terminal with the following command:
    screen /dev/tty.usbserial 9600
    I'd like to build my own application now. Does anyone could send me any sample code?
    I'm using XCode 3.2.5 and I'm a beginner on XCode.

    I looked at Dev Center for sample code, and I found this link:
    http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#samplecode/SerialPortSample/Introduction /Intro.html%23//apple_ref/doc/uid/DTS10000454-Intro-DontLinkElementID_2
    I downloaded the sample Xcode project and, when I click on "Build and Run" button, it generates an error with the following message:
    "GCC 4.2 is not compatible with the Mac OS X 10.4 SDK (file SerialPortSample.c)"
    Maybe, it occurs because the code is too old (2005). I didn't find any newer sample.
    Could you help me?
    Thank you.

  • Import of bulk serial numbers with Goods Receipt

    Hello
    I need to create an Add-On that automates the creation of Goods Receipt PO documents with linked serial numbers. Using the DI API I manage to create the Goods Receipt and link about 1000 serial numbers to one document without any problems. When the item qty (and linked serial number qty) goes beyond 10,000 it crashes (probably runs out of memory).
    I know an alternative would be possibly using the DI Server. Has anyone ever done this with such big volumes? Not sure if the DI Server would be able to handle say 100,000 serial numbers, at a time.
    Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jéan

    Thanks Gordon.
    This is not good news. I am just concerned as the SDK help on DI Server specifically states:
    "Business partners can use the DI Server for the following main scenarios:
    ==>> Heavy duty operations, such as batch"
    I assume this is the same type of "heavy duty operation" as a data take-on would be? Or does it mean that B1's serial number management is limited to small quantities at a time.
    Jéan

  • My Mac is a 21.5-inch Late 2009 with a 1 TB Seagate HD that must be replaced, according to Apple support, but they denied me that right because the serial is not part of the replacement program: any suggestions to get a plausible solution to this problem?

    My Mac is a 21.5-inch Late 2009 with a 1 TB Seagate HD that must be replaced, according to Apple support Panama, but they denied me that right because the serial is not part of the replacement program: any suggestions to get a plausible solution to this problem?
    I would want to know what are the criteria used by the people al espresslane support to deny the opportunity presented by the replacement program, given the situation that these 1 TB Seagate HD´s have had problems and certainly not only in the batch they accepted, but probable in other batches too.
    The second question is about the powerpc support that is lost when updating from Snow Leopard to Lion X: I can not read my medical application UPTODATE.
    I hope that there wil be some kind of support to help me solve that problem, this is my first petition actually.
    Now, I do not have access to my yahoo email, intermitent access to Apple home page, unpredictable access to Apple store and no access to iCloud in my iMac: when I try to access these web sites, the blue web address bar is interrupted and never goes to the end, no filling up the whole bar.
    I do not know what is the first problem, the Seagate HD or the Lion X, but my life is becoming a miserable one, not having the opportunity to enter in the raplacement program, losing the powerpc support because of the updating to Lion X, the necessity to buy Lion X again because it used to appear as a paid program, but not anymore, and finally having no access to my yahoo email, Apple home website and Apple store and no access at all to the iCloud: I am done.
    Chao, Elías.

    You can have Apple or a competent service shop replace the internal HD for a fee, unless you have AppleCare and the iMac is within its warranty period in which case it will cost nothing. If you must pay the cost will be approximately $350 US.
    PowerPC support is gone with Lion. You can install or retain Snow Leopard on another partition, and boot Snow Leopard as necessary.
    The inability to load web pages is a different problem, unless it is related to your failing hard disk.
