Serious help needed fixing an image gallery

ive put this very nice gallery..
The only problem is. I divided the gallery in 6 groups. But in every group you will see the same images. How can i change the images for each group seperately?
I hope you understand what i ment.

Upload the images to the images folder and use the markup as you have been using in the following, changing the name of the image to suit.

Help! I need a special image gallery!!

Hello!
anyone know if you can make an image gallery with thumbnails and where each one is linked to a photo slide? Also require that the thumbnails act as a color button, not appear like a thumbnail photo. I need help! Thanks in advance!

Need help: Setting up an image gallery.

Hello!
I'm a first timer on the forums using Dreamweaver ALSO for the first time. For the most part I've been able to figure out how to set things up and working in a way that I like with the exception that I can't seem to find a way to make up a gallery for my images. I'm making up an portfolio site where I will host a gallery of my drawings.
I don't have anywhere that has a set up of what I have so far but I do have a few websites which have samples of what type of gallery I would like to do:

Help needed with simple image enlargement when viewing a gallery

Hi
I have a gallery component linked to a data thumb list. This all scrolls fine and works. When someone clicks on a thumb it shows the
image larger. Then I would like it if you click on the larger image it fills the height of the page to see an even bigger view. I have managed to do this but some of the buttons do not work in the area were this image is even if the image is not showing and the image will not go back to its off state even though it has an interaction to do so. If I drag the image component down the layers panel so it is behind all the other bits on my page it all works, the image enlarges and disappears so the previous state is shown. The problem with this is I want the image to cover everything behind it, not be behind everything. I have included a couple of screen grabs just to give you an idea.

I have sorted this out. There might be other ways of doing this but I added a button to the large image gallery component.
constructed a rectangle the same size as the large image and set the opacity to 0. The whole area is now a button you can not see.
One click anywhere on the image removes it with an interaction back to the first state which is off.

SERIOUS HELP NEEDED!!!

Hi, My 5th gen ipod has somehow lost all of its songs. After pluggin it into the computer and taking it out all is gone. This is the second time that it has happened. Now when I tyr to reset it the latest updater says that the ipod is in use, but nothing is open. I need serious help I can nto do anythign with my Ipod now when I try and press it it says the website of apple.com/support/ipod. Thanks so much!

I have experienced the same issue. We have a USB power adaptor and a cable that we routinely use to charge our iPhones in the kitchen. While my iPhone4 keeps showing that error message, my wife's iPhone4S and all the kids iPods are charging just fine. Not a chance for a faulty power adaptor or cable.....
It also started very recently. My iPhone can be charged with my computer, my car's charger so my dock connector has to be OK. It's as if the hardware signature of the USB power adaptor is no longer recognized. Also coincides with recent software update....

Help needed to enhance Image Processor Pro Script to save transparency in TIF

Hi everyone,
this is my first post in this community.
We have a droplet which reduces the resolution of tif images to 72dpi and save the tif image with transparency. This works fine, but it took to long for the whole process of many picture in different folders. That's the reason why we searched for another script which can preserve the folder structure and set the resolution of every tif image to 72dpi.
We found Image Processor Pro, which does exactly what we needed. The script works perfectly in CS5 and CS5.5 as it saves the tif with the transparency. Those saved tif images could be used in InDesign with the transparency.
BUT Image Processor Pro script works not so perfectly in CS6 as it seems that this option to save a tif with transparency is not implemented or does not work in the script. The result is that those converted tif images are w/o transparency in InDesign. That's a huge problem for us.
This is the point where I need your help. Neither I have experience yet with jsx-files nor with the right syntax of it.
Is there a way for anybody of you to implement / enhance Image Processor Pro so it will save tif with transparency?
We used the latest German Version of Image Processor Pro: 2.3.1 (link: http://www.russellbrown.com/scripts.html)
(The German version contains only german on screen texts!)

Possible causes:
1) It probably has nothing to do with your image files, but you won't know until someone else tests one of them. You could create a small 50% gray TIFF file with transparency and post it, assuming you know it exhibits the issue with IPP.

There are two installers for Image Processor (CS5 and CS6). Did you download and install the CS6 Version Installer?
3) Another possible solution other than modifying the script is to reset the PS Preferences file. When strange things happen in PS with no explanation this usually fixes them. My PS CS6 was inflating all new files by 1.4MB. After examining one of the files it turned out PS was inserting a Costco printer profile into every new file. So don't automatically assume your PS image files are not somehow being corrupted and causing loss of transparency in IPP. Creating a new Preferences file resolved my issue:

G3 Firewire...Serious help needed on Start-up!

I've had my G3 power book for 4 1/2 years now. I've never had any serious problems until now. When I start it up I get the flashing question mark. I've had this problem before but I was able to fix it by pressing
'shift' while starting up. I've also tried holding the 'space bar', 'cmd-opt-p-r', 'c'. Anything that I try does not seem to work. I am unable to start up from the cd because my cd drive does not work. I've also tried an external cd drive but that doesn't work either. My main concern is that I can get some saved information that I desperately need.
Is there anything else I can do? Please help.

Shut down the Powerbook FireWire a.k.a. Pismo and disconnect all cables, PC cards, and peripherals.
Press the PRAM reset keys (command-option-R-P), power on and release the keys after you hear two startup chimes, and see if it will boot. You have probably already done this many times, but give it a try anyway.
The host computer...running 9.x or 10.x? If 10.x, the Finder Preferences may not be set to display an HD icon on the desktop; open a Finder window and see if the HD is in the left column.
Does the Pismo powerbook properly enter FireWire Target Disk Mode. Please follow the instructions in the link in my previous reply.
Host computer turned on > Pismo turned off > connect Pismo to host via a 6-pin FW cable > start Pismo while pressing the 'T' key until the FireWire symbol appears on the Pismo's screen.

Serious help needed... AS2

Ok. I'm NOT good with as. I'm building a website. i'm gona try to explain the best i can.
SO...I've had a LOT of problems with this website. so i decided to start it over. The way it is now (to fix a lot of other problems), i have a menu ON the main scene, in a mc. And to call the "sections" of the menu (example: photos), i call labeled frames, which are on the MAIN scene as well. Up to now, its working.
Next, when u click on the PHOTOS button (which is a mc as well), the background changes, and the thumbnails appear to the right (animated from outside the stage to inside...) Then, u can pic the pic u want. When you leave the section, i wanted to have the "ThumbOut" animation play and finish BEFORE the section changes.Still ok up till now.
NOW...in the photos section, i created two animations: thumbsIN and thumbsOUT, for when u get IN the section, and LEAVE the section.(OUT) i labeled the frames (thumbin, thumbout) and called those with AS. Still ok.
i then made an action to call these animations when we click on the PHOTOS mc, and SOMEHOW figured out (by copying tutorials and bits of AS:P) how to get it to animate OUT when u leave the section.
it looks like this:
on the Photo and ambiance mc (button):

Works FINE!!! when im in the photo section, and i click on the about button, works like a charm: thumbnail animation plays, then finishes, THEN changes section.
the problem? THIS: when i'm in any other section, the About(propos) button doesnt work!!
now i think i know why, but i dont have the slightest clue on HOW to do it:
i think i need to say: if the thumbMc is already loaded, go on with the script (meaning, wait for the mc to finish before playing). if NOT, just go play the frame: "propos".
i hope that iv been not too complicated...

if i'm IN the photo gallery section (meaning that the thumbMc is loaded), i want it to do this actionscript we just discussed
if i'm NOT IN the gallert section (any other section, meaning that thumbMc is NOT loaded), i want it to just directly to _root.gotoAndPlay("Propos")
meaning that it bypasses the thumbMc animation, and just goes to play the frame labeled "Propos" at the root.

WRT160N Version 3; SERIOUS HELP NEEDED FOR SETUP PLZ??!?!?!

I bought this router probably around 3 weeks ago.
The following is a list of chronological scenarios that i have tried in order to install it and everything during the first week that i got it:
1. I followed the CD's instructions, got LELA, but then when i used LELA to 'add another computer' it just gave an error, and then after this i could not be screwed using LELA anymore and so i uninstalled it, and then went online to 192.168.1.1 to configure the settings of the router, SSID, password and security which i put was WPA2 etc.
BUT THIS DID not work at all, i have 2 laptops, 1 of them which is new, and the other which was a couple of years old, they could not detect anything.
2. I then did some internet research, and read on these forums that i needed to change some of its advanced wireless settings, i did that. And then I could actually connect......and was extremely happy at this moment, BUT the next day i noticed, that even though i was about a metre away from the router, my speed was varying BADLY, initially when i first connect with my new laptop which has a Intel Wifi 5100AGN adapter it has a speed of 144mbps, but when i open internet explorer, i see the speed going slower and slower, until it is 1mbps, and sometimes the wireless just cuts out. This happened to my other laptop as well.
3. I then called for technical assistance, spent so much time talking trying to solve, and downloaded the latest firmware, reflashed the router, but still it has this problem of slowing speeds which is really frustrating.
And doing some more talking and following more instructions from the person on the phone, both my laptops could not connect to the router, even though it can see it at 'Excellent' connectivity.
4. And so, the person on the phone concluded that i should exchange the router with new one, which i am planning to do, and will probably get it tomorrow. But i am also thinking to myself whether or not to get a different one.
SOME NOTES:
-When it is wired the internet works fine
-the adapter in the older laptop is a intel 2200BG, so i know that it would probably go at a max speed of 54mbps
-when i said changing advanced wireless settings, i meant changing frequency/RTS/beacon levels etc to the values i have seen on these fourms.
CURRENTLY, since i am exchanging i have gone back to the old ASUS router which is G. and it connects well with the old laptop with a constant speed of 54mbps, but havent tried the new laptop as i can not be bothered. Also my main reason of getting a N router is just for range, because with the current one, i just cannot detect the router when i am in my bedroom, which is less than 20m, even if i can detect it is is very poor connectivity, WHERE AS with the WRT160n before i exchanged it, i could detect at first with Excellent connectivity, but as i said, the problems with speed and wireless cutting out etc is what results from this router.
I guess my main point is that, i want to ask any of you have used the VERSION 3 of WRT160N, and is currently working very well wirelessly. Can u please tell me the step-by-step instructions to help me set this router perfectly?

Try updating both of your laptops wireless cards that could fix the problem (you know may not be compatible with your WRT160N).
I know you said you changed the channel your router broadcasting in but do you have a lot of other wireless networks in your area???

Can't Activate my Creative Cloud Subscription -- SERIOUS HELP NEEDED!!!

For the past 3 weeks, I've been trying to activate my Creative Cloud subscription (placed my Creative Cloud order on 12/29/12). Like others, it appears that I’m trapped in perpetual "trial mode" status. When I try to activate my subscription -- I click the “register product” button…sign into my Adobe ID account…and receive a prompt to enter a serial number. Every time. I’ve litterally read every post/link/tutorial/troubleshooting selfhelp in this forum and on the Adobe FAQ pages - with great attention, might I add - but nothing seems to work.
I've spent hours upon hours on the phone/live chat w/ Adobe reps trying to resolve this issue. I've opened no less than 10 support cases. EVERY SINGLE TIME that I try to activate my Creative Cloud membership, an Adobe rep feeds me the "I'll be sure to escalate this issue to the next level of support" line. Likewise, Adobe support reps stated numerous times, that personnel from Adobe would contact me within 24 hours of my call to resolve the issue. However, they’ve yet to follow through with this claim. (Surprise)
Adobe should be ashamed by the egregious performance of their "technical support team.” If Adobe won't fix the software, which they've already charged me for, then they've left me w/ little choice but to cancel my order before the initial 30 day period is up. Enough is enough.
With that being said, Adobe, the following describes this dismal experience:
I bought a subscription of Creative Cloud on 12/29/12 (somehow I ended up w/ the Multi Language edition of Creative Cloud- yes I've fiddled w/ the language settings in the app manager. Doesn't work.)
I received an order verification email from Adobe for my purchase, however, the order was never listed under the "my recent order" section of my Adobe ID
Despite telling Adobe support that I only had one Adobe ID, they insisted that my order was showing up in their system, of which, was accessible by logging into my alternative Adobe ID (this didn’t exist because I only have one Adobe ID).
Eventually, Adobe determined that a system error occurred on their side while processing the transaction, and fixed this initial issue.
After this was resolved, I was able to login to my Adobe ID account and actually see my Creative Cloud membership order when viewing “my recent transactions.”
After all of that, I'm facing my 2nd major issue w/ this program: the inability to activate my subscription. As previously stated, I've tried everything to fix this issue. I'm thinking that the initial problem w/ placing the order resulted in defective software. Also, I’m not sure if this info is relevant, but I purchased the multiple language edition of Creative Cloud (somehow). I live in the US, speak English, and am running OS X 10.8.2.
Someone from Adobe, please look into this issue and help me. I’ll be glad to provide any other relevant info that you may need.

Had the exact same problem, just got it fixed. The solution is quite fast. Navigate to the hosts file. On a pc it's in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder, locate the file named 'Hosts' inside the etc folder. Open it with notepad. Delete everything underneath

Save. Open the application manager again, click "License this product" and sign in. It should work, now.

Help Needed With File/Image Size

I need a quick way to find an images _dimensions and size in kb_ on a safari webpage without having to download the image.
What I'd really like is to be able to right click on an image and have the dimensions and size in kb displayed. Either that, or use an app to do it.
Right now I am using the Inspect Element tool in the right click menu to find an images dimensions, but it doesn't show size in kb anywhere that I can see, and it's kind of a pain working with all the drop down menus.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Help needed making background image a clickable link

Hi guys,
I want to make the background of my site an advertising background where the background image is clickable.
I've tried a few tutorials but none seem to be working
What I've got is this as my CSS...

It kind of works but the link is only a thin strip either side of the screen for some reason and doesn't span the whole image background.

This can be done relatively easily but it's not very pretty. You will need to use a full-size image for the background, unless you plan to repeat it and set the clickable container to exactly that size. See code and screenshot below. Tested in FF, Chrome and IE9.

Okay this has happened to me twice. Second time just now. I noticed all my files were mucked up and wouldn't open, so I performed a battery pull with the device turned on. Turned my phone back on to discover a media card error with clustered files- tried to repair, repair failed. I've lost everything- again. I went to options>device>storage and tried to repair from there and it said I didn't have a media card installed. Tried to repair anyway and it also failed.
The first time this happened I tried to repair from my computer and that failed too- it has failed this time also. I reformatted the card from my device- if anyone has a way to get my files back please let me know!
I had seriously important memories and things I seriously need to get back. If there's any way I can't get them back please let me know. It says I have absolutely nothing in my files on my phone. Pleaaaase help!
