Seriously?  CRM does not display Email in customer list anymore?

OR is it that I am missing something?
In CRM go to Customers, and choose all
Listed is
Name
City
Country
Customer Type
Lead Source
Industry
Rating
Now it is possible that some people think all of those items are extremely important and dont care about the email address, but as the email address is the most important item for identification in the BC system - why is it not listed?
My client has pages oif email addresses without names or the other items, and is not willing to View each one to find the person they want.
Am I missing something? Is there a way to show a column in Customers that shows the email address?
As search only works on First Name or Last Name for partial searches (ie enter four characters, and BC shows matches)
but for Email, only works if the Full email is entered. (update - actually entering email address does not work for searching at all)
The client is stuck and cant get to the records without heaps of work.

Well I did say my customer received the auto respond from a campaign, but should have explained it properly.
Liam if I export them, and delete the ones I want,and then import them, I am guessing that wont actually delete them in the DB, as the import will only be looking for changes.
So for others that have this problem.
You could export them
change the optin staus to "No" in the spreadsheet
Import them again
Sort them by clicking on the "Opt-in Status" Column
then delete them
Its not elegant and takes time, but it is a solution.
I only had a few so I got the emails that were sent to the customer, put them in a spreadsheet, and sorted them. Then I sorted the list by clicking in the "Email Address" column, and wnet through the pages and deleted the ones I need to. It also took time.
I dont understand why there is not a "Search" Function for lists; OR
a bulk delete.

The upgrade went smoothly, but now I notice that all my mail on my local folders (i.e., not my gmail account) is missing the content of the message.     ok now I found a solution:
    Navigate to the folder which contains the local mailboxes as MBOX-Files. ~/Library/Mail/V2/Mailboxes/
    Locate the MBOX-file which contains the messages which are not displayed.
    In my case I tried to access mails from "Empfangen" and "Gesendet" so I copied over those two MBOX-files to the desktop.
    Now go to mail.app and select import message box
    In the following context menu select "import files from Apple Mail" (cuz Apple Mail MBOX-files are not standard MBOX format)
    Import the content.
    After import drag your messages from the imported folder to the original folder.
    done!
    I hope that helps someone who has the same problem.

  • User message entered in Validation settings does not show up in custom list form created in sharepoint designer 2010

    I have a custom list form created in SPD based on EditItem form.  I then set field validation in Validation setting and entered a user message to display when the validation did not pass.
    The validation works in the custom form but the user message never show up.

  • I have airplay on my iPad and when I click the airplay button it does not display iPad in the list, so that I can bypass airplay so that I can get sound on my iPad.

    I hope what I am telling you responds to what you would like to do.
    As one of the respondents mentioned, you can't use AirPlay.  What was not mentioned is you can use HomeSharing.
    You need to activate Home Sharing on both your computer's iTunes/Prefs/Sharing and in Settings/iPod in the iPad.  Using the iPod app, select your computer's library and initiate any requests (music) on the iPad.
    Personally I believe Airsharing and Homesharing are some of the worst work I've seen come out of Apple.  Its inconsistent between devices and is needlessly complicated by having two different capabilities essentially doing the same thing.  Throw in the Remote app and you now have three capabilities essentially doing the same thing with different interfaces and inconsistent functionality.

  • IPod does not display album cover art

    I recently updated to iTunes 9 and also bought a new MacBook Pro. Then I synced my old iPod color with my new Mac. Since then my iPod does not display the album art work anymore. I was looking through iTunes 9 for the option to display the artwork on the iPod because I remembered that setting from older versions but could not find it. Does iTunes 9 just asume my iPod can't display covers because it is a 4th gen even though it is the color version?

    hi mduran, no i could not find any solution. My iPod (60gb, probably the same as yours) is filled to the top and has been before the iTunes update and then it worked fine. I think this is a bug in iTunes. It's interesting to see that this happens in the Mac and Windows version of iTunes. Is there any way of telling Apple about that so it will be in the next update?

  • My IPhone 4's mailing feature does not display the toolbar at the bottom for deleting, moving, or writing emails. What is wrong with it?

    My work recently decided to buy every full time employee an IPhone 4 to be used for work purposes. (I do suspect these are refurbished, but I don't think that matters) I have had no trouble with it, except for on occasion the mailing feature does not display the toolbar at the bottom for deleting, moving, or writing emails. You know what I'm talking about...that bar at the bottom of the mailbox when you open an email that you use to delete, respond, forward, move, etc. It just goes away for no reason, and then reappears for a day or two, and goes away again. It is quite annoying since I can't respond to any of my emails without getting on my work computer. If you have any suggestions, please help!

    one email message or many, from a single source or multiple sources. Usually when an email does not display as expected it contains javascript, which Thunderbird does not allow to run for security reasons.

    If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains.
    *Tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu bar.
    Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
    Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
    *Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
    *If an image in the list is grayed and "<i>Block Images from...</i>" has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.
    Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the <b>permissions.default.image</b> pref on the <b>about:config</b> page should be 1.
    Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
    Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
    *Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
    Note that these settings affect background images.

  • RH7 - Custom WebHelp Pro skin custom "Print" button does NOT display in version published to RH Server 8

    I customized a WebHelp Pro skin using the Omega skin as the basis. Everything works fine except the Print button, which I added using the same Action as shown in the BeautifulVista skin's Print button.
    Local Version (C: drive)
    When I generate my help project and view it locally from my C: drive after I accept the warning about viewing locally, I see the Print button.
    However, it does NOT work.  I've attached a graphic that shows the local version and the skin dialog where I set up the action for the Print button.
    RH Server 8 version
    When I view the same project after I publish it to the server, the Print button does NOT display.
    QUESTIONS ARE:
    How do I get the Print button to function properly (active printer dialog)?
    If it can't work until it is published that fine but then how do I get it display when I view from server?

  • Email does not display message body

    The message body of emails displayed fine for months but suddenly does not display message body of any email.  Can only see to, from, subject line on right side of screen.  Blank body.

    Try a reset:
    Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.

  • SMS text message header does not display sender information

    When I receive a text message the only header information that displays is the date and time.  The senders information does not display.  The lines are not even there.  There is no way to reply to a text message or tell who the sender is.  This problem is only with SMS messages.  Regular email headers display just fine.  I have done a wipe, reset, reload, everything possible with no luck.  I am the only one in my office with this problem.  I have not been able to find any information or postings from anyone having the same problem.  I can read the text message, but there is no header (except for the date and time).  Any thoughts?
    Blackberry Curve 8350i

    I was able to resolve the problem by uninstalling the Blackberry desktop manager software and reinstalling it selecting Internet Email vs. Blackberry Enterprise Server.  If you get to the screen that asks you to choose which type of email service you use and you accidentally choose the wrong one your phone will work but will do strange things, including sending all sorts of redirect emails.  For me, this seemed to do the trick.

  • Mail does not send email

    My problem is simply that Mail does not send email.
    I have just migrated from iMac G5 to iMac Intel by using Migration Assistant. Everything else works just fine and I can receive email. However, if I try to reply, forward or send a new email message, Mail just does not do anything - no error message, nothing.
    The fixes I have tried so far are removing the Mail plist file, repairing disk permissions and mailboxes. Of course, I have checked the account settings, especially outgoing server settings. I also reinstalled Mail application with Pacifist. None of this has solved the problem. I have tried sending email with Thunderbird and it works with no problems.
    Does anybody have any suggestions how to fix this issue?
    The OS is 10.4.8, Mail Version 2.0.6 (749.2/752.3), all the suggested software updates done.

    Reinstalling Mail is rarely necessary or appropriate to solve a problem. It certainly cannot fix anything that could be wrong within your home folder or at the server or with the network, and may even introduce new issues if not done properly. Moreover, in Mac OS X 10.4 you don’t need Pacifist to reinstall Mail, you could also do it as described in the following article:

    Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:

    After having fixed all filesystem issues, if any, if the version of the system software on your install disks is earlier than what you’re using now (and only in that case), then you must also reinstall the Combo Update for the type of computer and the version of Mac OS X you’re using, to bring Mail back in sync with the rest of the system:

    The above won’t solve the problem. It’s just to ensure that you’ve properly reinstalled Mail, which you shouldn’t have done, and which apparently you didn’t do properly -- the version of Mail on your system should be 2.1.1, not 2.0.6.
    The original problem could be caused by some Launch Services cache or preferences corruption. The following article describes how to manually reset Launch Services -- the notes at the bottom of the article also provide information about the side effects of deleting each of the files involved:

    If you prefer using a cache cleaning utility instead of following the manual procedure described in the previous article, this other article provides links to some utilities that can be used for troubleshooting and cache cleaning:

  • Content does not display when page first opened

    Hi All;
    I have a contenta are/region which I have divided into multiple tabbed areas. I have two main tabs that divide the content into two major topics. Within each of these main areas I have added 4 to five tabs. One set for example holds a calendar, another tab a news release area and a third a content area for holding multiple folders of a department's documentation. The problem I am encountering is that when I first bring up the page all I see are the tabs and no matter what tab area is exposed the content within it is not displayed. For example, I start with the Calendar tab active (the calendar does not display). I then click on to say the document area, which displays all of its content's correctly. When I return to the calendar tab the calendar is displayed. My question... how can I ensure that the calendar (or any other tabbed area's content is displayed when the user first brings up the page?
    PS. This is a hot topic since I will be demoing my pages to my managers next week in an effort to convince them that Oracle Portal is the way to go.

    Look at the source on that page.  There is virtually no styling on it....

    There is nothing telling the page which fonts to use, or which colors to use.  Are you sure you have uploaded the correct page?

  • SSLVPN in IE 8 or 9 does not display login page

    I have a working setup with a customer using UC560 that uses SSLVPN and it works but only when using other browsers like Firefox and google chrome, when we try using IE version 8 or 9 we get prompted about the security certificate (the usual, as it's https) and after making the exception it does not display the login page, just this: Internet Explorer can't display this website, and that's about it, don't even get the chance to login nor download the anyconnect client, anyone know if there's a patch or something for this?

    thanks for your response, unfortunately it's a UC560 not an SA500 so i don't have those options, so far I haven't found configuration options that deny IE or someting like that, it really is a weird problem and it's though to troubleshoot.
    When I do debug webvpn http and try to enter the webpage with IE it shows this:
