Server not recognizing same password that I've been using for years. What's the problem?
I entered the same password that I use for this particular email address in outlook and when I first set up Thunderbird and it work fine but when I went back to check my mail for this account in Thunderbird I get a password failed message now. I retype it several times and it keeps coming up failed.

Like I will be checking on an account { page is fine} go to a different screen then go back.... This is the fun part. The page starts off normal then all the sudden it shrinks and moves to the right side of the page with out me touching anything. I got a new ipad2 for Christmas and I am unable to get it to accept my password for my wifi. I am using the same password that I have always used for all of my other devices. Can somebody help me????

I had the same trouble today, I kept entering the sky password but would not accept, my iMac and iPod work ok but just could not get my iPod to work. But I found the fault, the password is case sensitive and mine on sky is in caps, the up arrows on the keypad put the caps on,but after each letter you must put the caps back or it wil revert to lower case, I hope this may help you -
To repeat my question, Apple offered to install iCloud, and I allowed it. Yet when I try to sign in to iCloud using my Apple ID email and pswrd--an ID that I've been using for YEARS--I'm given the message, "This Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account." What is going on?
Everywhere I search on Apple's Support site says to sign in to iCloud using your "Apple ID," which I did. I've had my iTunes account for years (even migrated from the old AOL account system). It's the standard email+password that everyone is supposed to use.
My main question is how can I have a valid Apple ID and not an iCloud account--if the two are supposed to be linked?

tljI've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. My new Macbook won't connect to my wifi network - it keeps saying "password incorrect" - but I've tested it on my phone and works fine, I've checked the password I enter is correct digit for digit - what could the problem be?
you need to open the keychain access located in your utilities folder in the applications and once in the keychain on the left side click on the words system at the top and in the lower section click on passwords
next look in the striped area for any passwords that say airport network password next to kind and highlight those and hit delete on the keyboard to remove them from the keychain.
once you remove all of these airport passwords, quit the keychain
turn wifi off then back on, select your wifi network from the list and enter the password telling it to save to keychain this should resolve your issue! -

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

There are sites that will not open in Firefox that will open in Chrome...what is the problem?
In Firefox I cannot get into my webpage of my website company. After speaking with several techs on told me to download Chrome and try it through that browser. He said Firefox runs slow and pages can time out.
He was right with Chrome I have no problems at all accessing my website builder to make updates and changes...what's up with Firefox?If BlueHost uses cPanel for it web hosting control panel the problem isn't brand new, we have seen reports of problems with cPanel since like Firefox 13. or 14.0 was released. You may want to do a search of this forum for '''cPanel''' and see if anyone came up with a fix or a patch.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

You don't need an Adobe ID or password to install Flash Player, but you may need to provide your system's Administrator password during the installation.

How do i deactivate a device through icloud if the device is broken and i am unable to turn on find my iphone? Also i do not own a apple id as ive been using a family members due to problems when trying to make one?

The message seems to totally disappear. It is going to an AOL customer in UK. I changed their address to start with a lowercase letter & the message was returned to me by AOL as undeliverable, I then changed the first letter of the address beck to upper case, the same I have been using for years, but again it disappeared.

We have no way of knowing what goes on on your machine. All we can tell is that your iPhoto library is missing and iPhoto can't find it. If you can't find then I the only thing you can do is restore from your Back Up.
