Server Side Links (Node Link): caught exception

HI ,
Following error is showing up in System Audit Trace Logs:
Server Side Links (Node Link): caught exception
I am not able to figure is out why this error is coming.
Can any please explain the reason of this error..
thanks

Hi
Thanks for the link, it is indeed a good example. However, whilst it has some interesting points, it seems to narrowly skirt around the issue i am having (as do most examples in fact).
Perhaps i should have been more clear that the problem i am having relates specifically to entities that have already been persisted, and all i am trying to do is edit them. In the example you sent, if bean-validation fails then the entity is not persisted, so no problems. However, when editing an already persisted entity, form submissions trigger an automatic database update via the EntityManager (provided JSF validations are passed), so my real problem is avoiding this.
Any input appreciated.

    Hi All,
Was wondering if anybody knows how to prevent WebLogic 6.1 from
generating a server side stack trace whenever an exception is thrown?

There is a property in the ServerConfig:
InstrumentStackTraceEnabled - Determines whether exception messages include the server-side stack trace.

  • "Exception Processing Message" error when clicking the Accessing Server Data link on the start page

When I first started the application, I click the Accessing Server Data link on the start page.  I immediately got the error "Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c in a dialog box titled "Windows - No Disk".  I had to used Task Manager to remove the box after closing Flash Builder 4.  I then tried the video tutorial on "PHP Services in Flash Builder 4".  I keep receiving an error during service introspection trying to connect to the PHP class.  It was the same error as the other individual "Cannot Connect to PHP Service".  So I tried another tutorial and generated a sample PHP class.  I moved a datagrid on to the stage, droped in the getAllItems function, and configured the return type.  However, when I ran the app, I received the same error "Exception Processing Message" again.  I have attached the screenshot of the error in addition to my phpinfo and log files.

"The exception process message" is definitely a issue. Is it happening consistently, if so can you file a bug at bugs.adobe.com/flex and give out your machine config details, and the error log.
With regards to generating a new php file and the introspection error that you are getting, looking at the logs it probably is two fold.
First off the name of the file and the class name should be the same, are you having employeeServices as the name of the class in employeeServices.php file.
Second, It seems prior to generating this new file, you had a syntax error at line 5.
It would be easier to figure out what the error is, if you can also attach the php file, by removing any sensitive information in that.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • Server-side workflows against Service Link updated parameter/data

Is there a way to attach any server-side workflows to service link inbound updates/data other than what is available via parameter mapping and prebuilt functions? I need to manipulate a piece of data that is being updated in to a field by service link inbound message beyond what is available via prebuilt functions...
    Thanks.

I could probably do it in the XSL, but my goal is to keep the agent configuration, parameter mappings and transformation generic as possible so that it can be reused without modification. For example, I have agent configuration for interacting with an external system, that is passing a certain number of parameters back and forth, but the actual use of these paramters may be different from one service or task to another that is interfacing with this same external system. So the parameter I need to add some logic to for this instance of the task may be representing something different from another task call, even if same parameter is used to carry that data across.
Adding the logic and manipulation in the transformation will work for us if we can override and use different transformation in the task plan settings, similar to how we can override the parameter mappings, but that is not available today...

  • Handle exception on server side and display a customized jsp error page

    Hi,
I am developing a java/j2EE web application using servlet, jsp, ejb3 with JBOSS and ECLIPSE.
Two cases can occur on the server side :
    1) either I have not an expected result in a method and in this case I want to display an error page (a JSP page I suppose) with a personnalized error message
    2) or I have an exception thrown and I want to display the exception message in the former JSP page
I don't know how to cope with this problem of personnalized error message (or the message of a thrown exception) with a JSP page.
Does anybody can help me ? Thank you
Edited by: xflamant on Jun 20, 2009 10:51 AM

For the case of an unknown Error, simply use a default error page.
The redirection to this page can be accomplished by inserting folowing code into your web.xml:
         <error-page>
            <exception-type>java.lang.Throwable</exception-type>
            <location>/WEB-INF/jsp/error.jsp</location>
</error-page>Known exception can be caught via a try-catch block.
Then simply dispatch to the page you want displayed an add an attribute containing the error message to the response object.
This attribute can then be used in the target page to diplay the error.

    Greetings,
    javax.naming.NameNotFoundException. Root exception is
    org.omg.CosNaming.NamingContextPackage.NotFound
    =================
Below is the line of my LoginServlet class which is
referred to in the stack trace - Object object =
    context.lookup
( "java:comp/env/ejb/WarehouseClerk" );The root of the naming context is 'java:comp/env' and this is where lookup automatically begins for EJBs and resources. IOW, by specifying "java:comp/env/ejb/WarehouseClerk" as the EJB lookup name the server is actually treating this as "java:comp/env/java:comp/env/ejb/WarehouseClerk". Specify only the ejb context ("ejb/WarehouseClerk") in your lookup and you should be fine.
Any help would be most appreciated.

  • SQL Server 2K "Linked Server" to Oracle 9i Release 2 via "Oracle Provider

    Hi,
I'm trying to set up a SQL Server 2000 "Linked Server" to Oracle 9i Release 2 via "Oracle Provider for OLE DB". I have downloaded and installed "Oracle Provider for OLE DB Release 9.2.0.2.0"
My SQL*Net alias/datasource in tnsnames.ora works (It passes the test in "Net 9i Configuration Assistant", I can connect from SQL*Plus, and I can get a Linked server going with the "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Oracle").
When I set up my Linked Server with Oracle Provider for OLE DB, I need to supply the following three fields (with description from the read-only field at the bottom of the "Linked Server Properties)
Product name: (The product name is the OLE DB data source to add as a linked server.)
Data source: (The data source is usually the name of the server or filename.)
Provider string: (This is the entire provider string.)
Here is my tnsnames.ora entry that works as described above (names may have been changed to protect the innocent)...
    PROD9I.XYZ.LOCAL =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = nn.nn.nn.nn)(PORT = 1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SERVICE_NAME = PROD.ora2.xyz.mno.com)
With every combination of values I have tried for these fields, when I try to use the Linked Server I get this error message...
Could not create an instance of OLE DB provider 'OraOLEDB.Oracle'.
OLE DB error trace [Non-interface error:  CoCreate of DSO for OraOLEDB.Oracle returned 0x80040154].
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Thank you,
    Daniel Jameson

    Thanks Norman.
Well, I've made it a step closer. I uninstalled everything Oracle from my machine and reinstalled the 9i stuff, including the Oracle OLE DB Provider. Now, after I set up the linked server, and I try to view the Tables or Views under the Linked Servers, I get this error message...
Error 7399: OLE DB provider 'OraOLEDB.Oracle' reported an error.
    OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'OraOLEDB.Oracle' IDBINitialize::Initialize returned 0x80004005:   ].
Does anyone have any idea what this is about? My other Linked Server using the same Oracle SQL*Net alias, but using the Microsoft OLE DB Provider, works fine.

  • How to use mathscript node in server side with the parameter from the client side

I tried to develop a server/client system with some algorithms written in matlab. So I included a mathscript node on the server side. The client will send the parameter to the server. According to these parameters, the sever will call the matlab functions to do some computings and then send the results back to the client. The server has to wait for all parameters received before the computings. How do I know this since I only connect the parameter variables to the inputs of mathscript node on the server. The sever cannot know whethere these parameters are the new ones or old ones since the client may send parameters multiple times?

It seems to me you have two perfectly good options to start with. You could send all possible parameters in a single packet from the client to the server. This could be in the form of a cluster or an array of values. If by server/client you mean you are sending data over the network, then you could flatten this data to string before sending and unflatten it on the other side. Since all parameters come in one packet, you know all the data is valid every time you send data.
The other option is to send the parameters individually, but include some extra information such as a timestamp or iteration count. The server keeps reading and storing parameter values until a packet arrives with the next timestamp. Alternatively, you could include some information such as an end-of-parameter-list boolean that is sent with every parameter. It would be false until the last parameter packet.
Give it a thought. There are lots of solutions.

  • Convert file path in application server as link

How can we convert file path in application server as link to send email.
    Thanks
    Suresh

Your app server folders have a mappable location on your network, e.g,
server\path\filename.  Use an HTML anchor tag and build the link with code.  You'd be better off storing files on a file server (write to a mapped location from the app server) and link to there (same process).

    Hi Zia,
    The error is...
Caused by: java.io.InvalidClassException: org.eclipse.persistence.indirection.IndirectList; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = 4038061360325736360, local class serialVersionUID = -494763524358427112
...which means you have two different versions of org.eclipse.persistence.indirection.IndirectList, one on the server and one in the client (JDeveloper). As these classes have different serialVersionUID values then Java throws an exception when deserializing as they are probably not compatible.
I don't know much about the Eclipse stuff but from looking at your post I can only assume one version of the class is in D:\Coherence\toplink\jlib\eclipselink.jar on the Coherence server side and the other is in JDevloper in D:\OracleSOA\Middleware\modules\org.eclipse.persistence_1.1.0.0_2-1.jar as these are the only jar file containing "eclipse" that I can see on the classpaths.

  • SQL Server 2012 Linked server

We have created a linked server in SQL 2012.
Using this we are able to access tables, procs and functions.
But we are not able to access functions using dynamic values

    Hi S.Vijay,
According to your description, as other post, you need to show a clear question and more experts can assist you. About linked server in SQL Server, after we configure a linked server, we can
enable the Database Engine to execute a Transact-SQL statement that includes tables in another instance of SQL Server, or another database product such as Oracle. Linked servers offer the following advantages:
•The ability to access data from outside of SQL Server.
•The ability to issue distributed queries, updates, commands, and transactions on heterogeneous data sources across the enterprise.
•The ability to address diverse data sources similarly.
There is a similar issue about access function on remote server through linked server, you can review the following post.

  • Trying to print on a DNS 323 printer server (D-Link NAS Box).

    Hi,
I have a Macbook with Snow Leopard and I am trying to print over a DNS 323 printer server (D-Link NAS Box) in a (Windows based) home network. The printer is a Canon MP190 and I have the latest driver. Whenever I try to set it up in system preferences it does recognise the printer but seems to be unable to connect to it when I try to print.
Also, every time I try to print the connection to the server is lost (as in I cannot access the files on it in the finder).
My flat mate tried printing over the server with windows 7 and it worked immediately.
Any help would be very welcome!
PS: I've tried Guten-print but the MP190 is the one printer that they don't support...

Hello and welcome to Apple Discussions.
The Canon driver for Mac OS X cannot be used when you have the printer connected to a print server other than an Airport device. For these types of connections, you need to use a CUPS based printer driver like those offered through Gutenprint or PrintFab.
Since the MP190 is not yet supported by Gutenprint, you could look at using PrintFab, however you will need to buy this software after your trial period. Or you could wait until the next version of Gutenprint is available - maybe this version will support your model.

I think, you are probably running into CR: 6604075. This issue was addressed in U2. Do try out U3 . I guess, this should address your problem
